Note: Now that I'm out of College for the summer, I feel like I can have more time on my stories. I get bored quickly, so I might update them as I see fit. Before we move on, I want to say something to two reviewers.
Ron: No one is free from romantic problems, not even animals. Do you support Tech and Rev as a couple? Anyway, I hope that you enjoy this chapter.

Alrighty, time for chapter seven!
Chapter 7: Return of Sypher
When the day came, Duck went back to Blanc to switch places with one of the other Loonatics. The Mighty Loonatics patiently waited for one of the other members of the original team to show up, sitting down in anticipation.
"Who do you think is coming here?" Jack asked.
"I hope that it's Lexi." Simon said. "I've always had a crush on her."
"Knowing that Ace is the leader," Lori spoke, "I bet that he's the one who's going to come through that door."
"Fat chance, it's probably the big guy." Klara argued.
John quietly sat, looking at a photograph.
"Aren't you going to guess which Loonatic is going to come through the door?" Jack asked.
"No," John said, "I'm not guessing. Besides, aren't we also Loonatics?"
"We're new recruits, my guy." The young man said to the stag.
"There's no need to guess, everyone, I can tell who's coming with my telepathy." Diane said.
"Well, who's going to be here?" Lori asked.
"Tech," the Arctic fox said, "but he's bringing someone with him."
"Can we guess who it is?" Jack asked.
"Why? They're about here." The white vixen said.
The elevator opened up, causing the team to look at it. However, Tech didn't come out of the elevator. Instead, a familiar red roadrunner zoomed out of it.
"Boy-howdy-it's-good-to-see-you-guys-again!" Rev cheerfully greeted. "I-hope-that-all-of-you-are-happy-with-the-fact-that-Tech-and-me-are-here-to-watch-after-you-guys!"
"Alright, Rev, take it easy." Tech walked into the room.
"Sorry-I-just-get-excited-sometimes." The roadrunner blushed.
"We can tell." John said.
"But it's okay." Klara added.
"Anyway," Tech said, "as Rev and I are watching after you, I want to lay down a ground rule: don't horse around with my inventions."
"We won't, Mr. Coyote." Simon said.
"And I don't touch stuff like that." John said.
"Why not?" Jack asked.
"Technology is not one of my interests." The stag said.
"Well, I won't have to worry about you touching my inventions without my permission." Tech stated.
"Anyway-prepare-for-two-full-weeks-of-fun!" Rev said.
A few days later, and not much had happened at the Loonatics' HQ. However, Tech was working on a new invention. While he was working on the invention, Rev walked into the lab with Klara.
"Hey-Tech-I-brought-the-kid-in-here." Rev said.
"Haven't you heard of knocking?" Tech asked, looking at the device he was working on.
"Sorry-I-just-felt-tempted-to-come-in-and-see-my-favorite-coyote-working-on-his-new-invention." The roadrunner said.
"Why'd you bring the little one in here?" The coyote asked.
"I've always wanted to work on an invention, so I asked Rev to bring me here." Klara said.
"You can't work on this one, I'm almost finished with it." The green canine said.
"What is it?" She asked.
"It's a device that can hold up to ten items that shrinks down to a few centimeters tall when you press a button."
"Does it have a name?"
"Not at the moment. However, I will decide on a name for it. In the meantime, I'll call you in when I decide to create a new invention. Is that okay?"
"Yes, thank you."
All of a sudden, Tech's communicator rang.
"Oh," he said as he looked at his communicator, "it's from Zadavia."
"What does she want?" Klara asked.
"Hold on," the coyote said as he pressed a button on his communicator, "I'll tell you."
"Tech, Rev, I have to tell you something." Zadavia's voice came out of the communicator. "Sypher has escaped from jail and he's attacking Acmetropolis. If you're taking the Mighty Loonatics into battle, have them be careful around Sypher. Chances are, he might steal their powers in battle."
"On it, Zadavia." Tech said.
"You-can-trust-us-to-keep-Sypher-away-from-their-powers." Rev stated.
"Good," she said, "Zadavia out."
After that, Tech and Rev gathered the Mighty Loonatics and had them accompany them to the Loonatics's ship. They flew the ship to where Sypher was at. Once they got there, the team saw that the villain was holding several civilians as hostages. Before they got out, Tech felt it was necessary to give them all a warning.
"Remember," he spoke, "Sypher has the ability to steal your powers by touching you. Be sure to knock him down before he can do so."
"I don't have to worry about him stealing my powers," John said, "given how my powers scare even me."
"Well-outside-of-that-keep-your-powers-out-of-Sypher's-hands-got-it?" Rev opened the door of the ship.
"Got it!" Jack said as he cracked his knuckles. "I'll knock out Sypher before he can steal our powers!"
"Let's hope that you can back up that speech." Lori said.
The Mighty Loonatics stepped out of the ship, with Tech and Rev following them. Once they got out, Sypher turned around and looked at them.
"Well," he spoke, "looks like two of the Loonatics have come back to Acmetropolis! And it looks like you've got an audience with you, Tech and Rev!"
"They're not an audience, Sypher." Tech said.
"Yeah, we're the new members of the team!" Jack said.
"Allies to good, nightmares to you!" Diane said.
"We're the Mighty Loonatics, plain and simple!" Simon cracked his knuckles.
"The Mighty Loonatics?" Sypher was bewildered, but became confident. "Honestly, you guys just add fuel to the fire! When I touch you guys and steal your powers, it's all over for you!"
"We'll see about that." Teagan stepped forward.
"Fine then," the villain said, "get ready to get schooled, Mighty Loonatics!"
After Sypher said that, he was launched at a wall by an energy blast, courtesy of Diane. After that, he found himself bound in a whip of thorns that Jack had conjured. However, he freed himself and ran at the Mighty Loonatics. The team moved out of the way of a potential attack, surrounding Sypher once he stopped moving. They all had their powers ready, eager to keep them out of the hands of the villain who could steal them.
"Interesting," Sypher spoke, "now try this!"
Sypher jumped into the air and dived towards Jack, only to receive an aura blast to the chest. After that, Klara punched him across his face. Before he could rush at the girl, Sypher felt something hit him in the back. That something was Lori, who had turned invisible while Klara punched him.
"What the?" He asked.
"Surprised?" Lori asked.
"I'll say," Sypher looked around, "I can't see you!"
"And it's your downfall!" The invisible fennec said as she threw a punch at him. However, Sypher grabbed Lori and absorbed her powers. With her powers absorbed from her, Lori nearly collapsed to the ground. After that, Simon ran to his teammate's aid.
"Lori, are you okay?" He asked.
"Yes," Lori said, "but my powers are gone."
"And I'm going to steal yours next, pal!" Sypher said to Simon.
"Not on your life!" Simon shouted as he formed bone marrow spikes on his body.
"Ugh, that's creepy." The villain stated.
Using Lori's stolen powers, Sypher turned invisible and lunged at Simon. However, the gray hound moved out of the way. Seeing as Sypher would win as long as no one could see him, Simon ran towards Tech and Rev, carrying Lori to them.
"Tech," he said, "do you have a bottle of oil or something?"
"Of course I do." Tech said.
"Now-here's-a-question-for-you-why-are-you-asking-that?" Rev asked.
"Because I have an idea." The gray hound said.
"What is it?" Jack asked.
"I need you and Diane to surround Sypher after I throw the oil on him." The canine told him.
"On it!" The young man said.
"We'll pepper him with our attacks!" Diane said as she charged up an energy blast.
"Can you tell what move he'll make next?" Teagan asked.
"Yes," the Arctic fox stated, "he's coming right for us!"
"Good, he's fallen into our trap." Simon said.
The invisible Sypher ran towards the Mighty Loonatics, ready to take the powers of the next member of the team. However, he found himself splashed with oil, which revealed his whereabouts to the team. Once he was revealed, Jack fired a few aura blasts at him while Diane fired an energy blast at him. This caused Sypher to become visible again as he collapsed to the ground. Now that he was down, Lori touched him and got her powers back.
"How are we going to take him to jail?" Jack asked.
"The cops have technology that can trap him without touching him, so we'll be okay." Tech said.
"Just-as-long-as-he-doesn't-get-up-we'll-be-okay!" Rev added.
However, Sypher stood up and looked at the Mighty Loonatics with angry eyes.
"Alright, you guys are getting annoying!" He snarled.
"And you're no better." John said.
"You've got a smart mouth, tough guy?" Sypher asked him.
"Yes," the stag said, "and you need to keep yours shut."
Sypher grabbed John by his shoulders, intent on stealing his powers. Before any of the others could intervene, they saw a dark aura forming around John. The stag's eyes began to glow as he let out a powerful scream. From that point on, Sypher felt himself get weaker, unable to get free from the Loonatic who was holding him. After a minute, the villain collapsed to the ground. The dark aura faded away, leaving John standing.
"What was that?!" Simon asked, looking frightened by what he saw.
"He won't steal another power for the rest of his life." John stated. "We don't have to worry about it."
"What did you do to Sypher?" Jack asked.
"I cured him of his powers, leaving him unable to steal someone else's." The stag answered. "Power curing is one of my lesser-known abilities."
"Thanks, I guess." Tech said as he handcuffed Sypher, no longer having to worry about his powers being drained. However, John went over to the unconscious villain and lifted his collar.
"Thought so." The stag said.
"Okay?" Tech said out of confusion.
"I'll-call-the-police." Rev said. "Diane-free-the-hostages."
"On it." Diane said as she went over to the hostages.
"What about the rest of us?" Klara asked.
"Head back to HQ, Rev and I will take Sypher to jail." Tech said.
The Mighty Loonatics started to head back to the tower, which left Tech and Rev alone to take Sypher to jail.
"That-was-fun!" Rev said. "It's-been-some-time-since-we've-fought-a-villain."
"And we've got some new recruits on our side." Tech said.
"Yeah-let's-get-Sypher-back-to-prison." The roadrunner said.
"Yes." The coyote said, giving the bird a kiss before getting into the ship. Rev followed shortly after, blushing a little. After that, the two took Sypher to jail, completing the mission of the day.
Note: I really like Tech x Rev stuff. Also, I brought back an old villain to show that the team might occasionally encounter an old enemy. What did you guys think?
