Arturia awoke due to a streak of sunlight that hit her face. She groaned as she shuffled into her side, shielding her face from the harsh light. She yawned before she slipped out of bed with a groan. She had barely slept the night before, she had been packing until the late hours and then the excitement got the better of her and she felt much too anxious to settle down and sleep.

Arturia had packed the essentials and a few extra things, just in case the weather took a turn for the worst during the weekend getaway. Arturia had managed to invite her best friend, her cousin and her sister and after she spoke with Diarmuid, she learned he invited his brother, a friend of his and his brother's girlfriend.

Arturia dragged her feet to the bathroom. Once there, she shot her sister a text to confirm she'd pick her up in an hour and pulled out her toothbrush. Arturia's eyes flickered to her phone once she received confirmation from her sister and then she received a text from Lancelot (her best friend) followed by another text from Gawain (her cousin). Everything seemed to be starting off great.

After getting ready, Arturia packed the last of the things into the trunk of her car and then went over her list one last time to make sure she hadn't forgotten anything. Once she was certain nothing was being left behind, she wasted no time in hurrying off to pick up her sister. She had dread coiled in her gut for she had yet to tell Morgana that she had ended things with Gilgamesh. Arturia had truly meant to tell her sister sooner, but work had toppled her and she had barely had time for anything since she had met with Diarmuid.

There had been a lot of deadlines, paperwork and presentations, there was no time to dwell on her sorrows. Plus, whatever time wasn't spent on work, it was put aside to plan that weekend's main event. Arturia rolled to Morgana's doorstep and parked before she sent her a text. It didn't take long for Morgana to emerge from the house, a purse hanging from her arm and a suitcase rolling behind her. Morgana's hair was pulled back into a high ponytail and she wore white-rimmed sunglasses. The summer dress she wore was dancing in the soft wind.

"Hey, baby sis!" Morgana opened the back seat door and heaved as she shoved her suitcase in the car. "How are you?"

"Hi Morgana," Arturia smiled. "I'm good, and you?"

Morgana shut the door and then climbed into the passenger's seat before offering her sister a kiss on the cheek. "I'm doing great!" She squealed, "I'm so excited about this trip! You know, I've really needed the time for myself, what with Merlin working late hours and father bugging us about grandchildren. So, you said there was a new friend of yours that was coming along?" Then Morgana looked around and frowned. "Is Gilgamesh not joining us?"

"He won't," Arturia mumbled.

"Oh." Morgana frowned and rolled her eyes. "Is that becoming his pastime? Leaving you to go around by yourself? Or is he making himself useful and completing wedding errands?" Morgana buckled in and pulled out a chocolate bar from her purse, offering it to Arturia. "Wow, I still can't believe you're getting married soon! Are you excited? You haven't picked out the dress without me, right?"

Arturia shook her head to decline the chocolate and gave her sister a forced smile. "Actually...I meant to talk to you about that."

Morgana raised an eyebrow as she bit into her chocolate bar. "Did you two have a fight? Did he do something to you? Or did you already choose the dress without me?" She asked as Arturia pulled out of the driveway.

"Well...I found out...I mean…" Arturia didn't take her eyes off the road. It was the first time she was talking about it since her time spent with Diarmuid. There was fear of what Morgana was going to say that settled in the back of her mind. Had she just not been good enough to keep him? Had it been her fault that Gilgamesh cheated? Had she just not showed him enough love? Had she been too harsh that he sought love elsewhere?

"I called off the wedding." Arturia's eyes drifted momentarily to her sister. "I found out he was cheating on me."

Morgana was silent for a second. "What?" She finally hissed. "He did what? That motherfucker! How dare he cheat on my sister and think he can just get away with it? That son of a bitch! Drive to his place right now; I'm going to give him a piece of my mind. What the fuck?"

"Morgana," Arturia called. "There's no reason to go an make a scene, plus, I don't know where he's staying."

"That good-for-nothing son of a bitch cheated on you, Artie! I'm going to break his hands, better yet! I'm going to castrate that low-life, I swear." Morgana rummaged through her purse and pulled out her phone. She immediately began to type her frustrations but Arturia wasn't sure if it was on her social media or a personal text to Gilgamesh.

"Morgie, I'm thankful for the support but there's really no need. I'm over it. This was a week ago, and I've already got my mind off him." Well, it would take more time to do that but at least she was starting to get her mind off him.

Morgana set her phone down and landed a hand on Arturia's shoulder. "How are you holding up?"

Arturia shrugged, taking a left turn. "To be honest...I'm doing okay. Sure it's hard sometimes but it'll be okay. Plus, out of a bad situation, something good came of it."

"You got that right, at least you didn't find out ten years down the line with two kids. It's better this way."

"I mean," Arturia sighed, "I met Diarmuid and he's...very kind." A small smile stretched Arturia's lips.

Morgana caught sight of her sister's smile. "Who?"

"A man I met...the day after Gilgamesh and I broke things off. He is nice, and he listens, and…"

"What? I have to meet him! Is he cute?" Morgana smirked. "Where is he from? How'd you meet him?"

"It embarrassing, really. And you will meet him, he's actually coming on the trip." Arturia spoke. "And he is...handsome."

"I'm glad you met him...but...I just hope he isn't a rebound."

Arturia glanced at her sister. "No, it isn't like that. We're just friends. Plus, he knows about Gilgamesh."

Morgana nodded. "As long as you don't get hurt…"

Arturia sighed. "Enough about that, this weekend is about forgetting about Gilgamesh and having fun. Please, remember to just enjoy yourself."

Morgana smiled. "So off limit words are: Gilgamesh, boring, and annoying."

Arturia laughed and nodded. "Yes."
