Sonny arrives soon after and Elizabeth while invited to the party, was not a player and she is standing next to Patrick, Robert, and Anna.
"Good afternoon everyone", Robin says. "I've asked everyone here because part of General Hospital was destroyed a few days ago. I've spoken with the Board of General Hospital and to keep it from being shut down, they need investors. Many of you are long-standing members of Port Charles. Several of you had your lives saved here. General Hospital is a cutting-edge teaching hospital and Mercy does not provide the same standard of care. To keep it open I'm proposing donations of up to five million dollars each. You can serve on the advisory board and the current board is looking for an interim COS with the option to permanent status."
Monica calls out and says, "I take it they want you for that position?"
Robin replies, "you've got it wrong Monica. I've recommended you for that position. The board asked me for advice and to number crunch. Patrick, & our family have a home in California. We aren't staying, but General Hospital has been important to us. I grew up here. My life was saved here. Two great doctors, Dr. Steve Hardy and Dr. Alan Quartermaine helped me when I was a teenager. I want General Hospital to stay open so doctors like them can continue to practice medicine. I have a prospectus prepared for everyone. Please review them, show them to your financial advisor and get back to me. Thank you." Before leaving Robin finds Jason and Sonny hugging them. "I hope you can help rebuild General Hospital."
Robert and Anna are waiting by the entrance with Emma and Noah. She calls Elizabeth over. "Can they spend the afternoon with you? I'm sure Cameron would like to see Emma and maybe you can look after Noah? Patrick and I have a few things to discuss with my parents."
Elizabeth replies, "of course. Let me know when you want them returned and I can have Cameron bring them back to Anna's." Robin calls them over and Elizabeth says, "Emma you would you like to come with me and see Cameron?" Emma nods and Elizabeth takes Noah's hand and they walk to her car. They arrive home and Cameron and Emma go outside and discuss school, him going to college and her to high school. Elizabeth and Drew spend time with her boys and Noah.
Over at Anna's….
Robin says, "mom, Patrick, and I have discussed this and we would like you to move to California. Emma and Noah would love seeing their grandmother all the time and you can bring Violet and if somehow Hayden shows up, maybe arrangements can be arranged. I'm sorry but Finn is dead, there isn't much to keep you here. The work you do, you can do anywhere and California would be a nice change from Port Charles. Peter is dead, Finn is gone and there is no reason you should stay with all those memories."
Anna is caught off guard, but Robin is saying all the right things. She would love to spend more time with her grandchildren. Her life lately has been consumed with exposing Peter and staying in Port Charles without Finn would be a painful reminder. Her job could take her to many places and Violet would have a safe place to go if she ever had to go out of town. "Wow!" Anna says. "Can I think about it?"
Robin says, "of course. Patrick has to get back to Berkley. He has patients and will take over my COS duties until I return. Emma needs to get back to school. They will be leaving tomorrow afternoon and I will follow in a couple of days, hopefully, by then investors will come through." She turns to her father and says, "Daddy, what about you? Do you want to leave Port Charles?"
Robert replies, "Luv, there is still a lot of work for me to do here, but I will visit every chance I get."
Violet runs downstairs crying, "I want my daddy."
Robin says, "Patrick why don't you and my mother take Violet upstairs and I'll pick up Emma and Noah, I'd like to say hello to Drew. Goodnight dad."
"Goodnight Sweetheart."
Robin borrows her mother's car and drove over Elizabeth's house. Cameron and Emma have taken their conversation inside as it was getting colder. Jake and Adien are playing with Noah. Drew and Elizabeth are in the kitchen working on dinner when the bell rings. Drew says he will get it. He opens the door, "Robin! Elizabeth told me you put on quite the show this afternoon."
Robin hugs Drew and replies, "hopefully General Hospital will get the necessary funding. I will followup in a couple of days and if there is not an answer by then, it up be up to the current board. Then I will return What about you? What are your future plans?"
Drew says, "I'm not sure. I've had a few skill sets in WITSIC over the last few years, I'm going to stay around for awhile. I'd like to spend some time with Monica, my daughter and yes, even Jason." Get
Robin collects her kids and drives back to her mothers. Patrick and Robert have dinner on the table and after the kids are in bed, the adults talk shop and fill each other in on each other's lives. An hour later Robert leaves hugging and kissing Robin the head. Patrick and Robin say goodnight to Anna and head upstairs. They slowly get reacquainted with each other's bodies and lie into each others arms. With her head on Patrick's chest she says, "I know you have to leave tomorrow, but I will miss you every day and will try to get back as soon as possible." The following morning Patrick checks in on Dante and turns over his files to Kevin. He says goodbye to Pip, Monica, Elizabeth and the few remaining GH staff he knows. Patrick, Emma and Noah head back to CA.
Robin not wanting to push too hard stays inside working on portfilios and other files from Berkley. She calls Elzabeth and asks if she wants to go out for drinks. Elizabeth check with Drew ands says Drew will look after the boys. They meet at the Metro Court and Carly joins them briefly. They exchange pleasentries and no longer hold grudges. After a few drinks each return to their respective homes.
When Robin returns to Annas she brings up moving to Berkley. Anna replies she's given it a lot of thought and thinks it might be a good idea and a change of pace. But she can't commit long-term. Robin lets it go for now and agrees.
Even though it's late Robin's cell rings and a decision has been made regarding investors and to show up in the morning. She calls Patrick and shares with him the information. He puts Emma and Noah on the phone since it is earlier in CA.
Robin, Robert and Anna arrive at GH early and Robin meets with the board. 30 minutes later Robin returns to the lobby area greeted by the prospective donors. She announces, "Thank you all for coming. I am pleased to announce GH has exceeded donor pledges. Not only can GH be rebuilt, it also can pay for staff pay raises, equipment and an improved ER. I have prospectus's folders and will be handing them off to your new COS Dr. Monica Quartermaine." She hands them to her and every claps. Before leaving she finds Elizabeth and says, "I'm heading home soon. Don't be a stranger. You and your kids are welcome in CA anytime."
Anna is waiting for her and they head home together. Anna says she'll pack things up and finish case loads and she should be out in about three months. She also needs to prepare Violet for the move.
Robin calls Patrick and lets him know she will be on the next plane in the morning.

Robin is happily back in CA and has resumed her COS duties.
Two months later Anna has packed everything and is on her way with Violet to move to CA
Three months later GH is back and better than it was before the bombing. Monica is thriving as the now permanent COS. The PCPD moved to a new location and with tax monies, a new building was built.
Four months later Drew has moved from the couch to Elizabeth's bed after helping her heal from the pain of losing Franco.
Spencer has returned and Nikolas is taking a more active part in his life and for that 1st year, he joins Trina at PCU.
Sam & Jason get back together because after all, they deserve each other
Sonny never left the mob but is in control of the five families.
