Ch. 7 The Secrets of One For All Part Two

We have reached the seventh chapter of this story and just like the previous chapter, we will pick back up on the meeting between Izuku and the other successors of One For All. This chapter will look at Izuku's resolve going forward with his upcoming battle between All For One and Tomura Shigaraki.

Izuku will get asked some difficult questions by the previous successors and we will see how he answers them and see where that leaves him with the other successors. How he answers them will see how he develops as a hero going forward from this point on.

I hope you are all ready for another roller coaster of a chapter because there will be serious emotions from the One For All holders in this chapter and that includes Izuku.

I will catch back up with you all at the end of the chapter to share my thoughts and ideas on this chapter and see where we will be at going forward from this point on.

We pick back up from where we left off in the previous chapter with Nana asking Izuku "tell me can you kill Tomura Shigaraki?" Izuku says "um" but Nana does not let him finish and says "that's not a request, I'm asking about your resolve." Nana says "you looked at him and saw someone who looked like he needed saving, that's what you thought."

"we know that much because we're in sync with your emotions" and then Banjo says "the issue is, he sure didn't look that way to us." Banjo then continues by stating "no doubt he's suffering, what with All For One taking over his meatsuit, but that doesn't mean the kid is hoping to be saved." "Even in a sitch like that, his eyes were filled with nothing but hate."

The first user then chimes in with "that's how he was groomed, my brother's own damaged body now holds him back." "So it's likely, that he schemed to hijack the boy's body and soul as part of a grand plan to acquire One For All." Banjo then chimes in with "first me then my successor En, that bastard tried stealing One For All from us twice and failed twice."

The first user states "bending and breaking the basic principle of One For All takes powerful will and emotions strong enough to override One For All." "Emotions so strong, they're too much for one person to bear, we're thinking he's trying to use Shigaraki's hatred to get the job done." The rule is that only the will of One For All's wielder can affect it but your rage is starting to eat away at that very rule.

The first continues with "because the origin of One For All was itself a powerful will that refused to submit to All For One." "The basic premise is that One For All is tasked with destroying All For One. It seemed that Yagi accomplished this but my tenacious brother managed to rise again."

Nana then states "Izuku, I now telling you this is incredibly unfair to you especially after all that talk about how you can't walk away from this." "Tomura Shigaraki is my grandson, to better fight All For One, I removed myself from my son's life and Tomura was the end result. It's beyond shameful for an adult who's failed over and over to burden a boy of 16 with her old debts. I know that but all the same if that thing grows into the ultimate evil, then nobody will be able to stop it."

Izuku recalls when he was said that someday you will fight against that ultimate evil perhaps. Nana continues with "it won't be enough to simply forgive him or to try to come to an understanding. There are some people who cannot be saved." "if a person who looks like they need saving, actually turns out to be someone beyond saving, will you have the resolve to kill him, if that's what it takes." Izuku stands there in shock and surprise at hearing Nana tell al lthis.

The other successors stand and sit there and wait to hear Izuku's response to Nana's question about if he has what it takes to Kill Tomura if it comes down to that. Izuku says "I could see he was hurting or rather, I could feel it." "When Shigaraki's consciousness invaded One For All, when he was focusing hard on his own dream, I felt it inside all that rage. I felt a little boy crying."

Nana looks down at him with a look that says he has reached his decision but waits to hear the rest of his statement toward her and the other successors. "up till now, I've come up against all types, they've refused to back down, so fighting was the only way to stop them." "But I never understood what made them turn out that way, if I had maybe things would've worked out differently or who knows, maybe I still would've had to fight them anyway." Izuku recalls al lthe people he fought so far including Stain, Muscular, Overhaul, La Brava, and Gentle Criminal and how far he has come.

"Shigaraki killed so many people, he's hurt people near and dear to me. One For All is a power meant for saving, not killing. All Might taught me that." Izuku sees himself as a little kid again wanting to reach out to a younger version of Tomura to help him when he was crying. "and not just me, All Might and all of you who've built up this power have given hope to countless people out there.

"I get that this power was first meant to destroy that evil but you've given all your lives to link this chain this far and I think there's another big purpose behind it all" and while Izuku is saying this, the first user is smiling at his successor and the shade of All Might looks on proudly and he is crying.

"maybe there's no other way besides killing, but I want to save that little boy." Nana is proud of Izuku and how far he has come and at his resolve. The first user smiles and says "good that's why we have your back" and he pats the shade of All Might on the back. "it's fortunate our power passed to you two." Nana tells Izuku "sorry for testing you like that. Gran Torino still lives, so when you wake up, give him my best. We've been blessed with wonderful desciples."

The first user turns around to speak to the second and third users and tells them "now play nice, you two have to cooperate with our successor. He needs your help to unleash his full power."

And that is where we are going to end this chapter. I know it is a cliffhange but every good story needs some cliffhangers thrown in there from time to time. We will pick up again wit the second and third users later on in the story.

I hope you enjoyed reading this chapter because I enjoyed writing and I was amazed when I read the manga chapter. I was proud to see how far Izuku has come since he was a little kid with a dream and now he is on his way to achieving that dream.

The only successors yet to accept him are the second and the third but we will visit that later on in the story. The next chapter should see Izuku wake up and see where he goes here on in the story.
