Taiga moaned as she slowly opened her eyes and looked up to see she was in Ryuuji's arms. She faintly smiled as she nuzzled deeper into his arms, "Are you okay?" she heard Ryuuji ask and she looked up to see him opening his eyes slightly, "Are you feeling better? Did you think it-"

"I still want you to turn me tonight and you promised not to talk me out of it," Ryuuji sighed and shook his head as Taiga stood up and stretched, "I'll just stay home and take a nap later today so I'm not too tired for tonight," Ryuuji took a deep breath nodded, "Okay…get some sleep…I don't want you dying on me,"

"Heh, like I said, Taiga, you can't get rid of me that easily," Taiga looked back and saw Ryuuji lying down and falling asleep before she turned and walked out of the room, closing the door behind her.

Taiga sighed as she sat at the table and began eating, "Hmm…good morning, Taiga," Taiga looked back and saw a hungover Yasuko walking into the kitchen. Sitting across from the petite brunette, Yasuko yawned before looking around, "Is Ryu sleeping?"

"Yeah…I'm going to stay home today and have him turn me tonight," Yasuko hummed and slowly took a sip of her coffee, "Hey Yasuko, can I tell you something?" Yasuko hummed again and looked at Taiga in confusion, "I'm a little scared…I mean Kitamura is supposed to be Ryuuji's best friend and I saw how quickly he turned on him the first night and…Minori is supposed to be my best friend and what if she does the same? What if she sees me as another monster after tonight?"

Yasuko gave a warm smile as she shook her head, "Oh Taiga, you don't have to worry about that…you and Ryu will be happy no matter what and I believe you're wrong…I think you're his best friend…you saw it yourself, your little friends were quick to turn on him that night except for the two of us and he would obviously sooner die if it means keeping you safe, and I can see you feel the same way about him,"

Taiga hummed and slightly smiled, "Now, is there anything else bothering you?" Taiga shook her head and Yasuko sighed, "I might be a blonde and I might be an airhead at times, Taiga, but I can tell when something is bothering one of my babies, and something is bothering you,"

Taiga felt her cheeks warm up as she lowered her head, "Well…my parents…mostly my mother, are strict Catholics and after tonight, I'm going to be a Vampire and I'm just concerned…what if my parents aren't happy about my relationship with Ryuuji and me being a Vampire?" she shook as she tightly closed her eyes, "I don't want to disappoint my parents, but I don't think I want anyone other than Ryuuji an-"

"Taiga," Yasuko sighed as she stood up and walked around the table and wrapped her arms around her. Taiga frowned as she caught whiff of champagne on Yasuko's breath and Yasuko patted the top of her head, "I've met your dad and he's not a very nice man. He tried to take you from your family, your real family and I haven't met your mom yet, but if she's any kind of mother she should accept your relationship with Ryu and that fact that you're going to be a Vampire and if she doesn't accept your relationship with Ryu or that you're going to be a Vampire then I'll have to accept you and Ryu even more,"

Taiga frowned as she nuzzled closer to the older woman, "Yasuko…how can you be this kind to me, especially after what I told you I used to do to Ryuuji…you should've yelled at me and threw me out that night…you should be mad an-"

"We've already had this talk, Taiga. Everyone makes mistakes," Yasuko broke from the embrace and patted the top of Taiga's head and smiled, "If Ryu can forgive you for doing all that to him then I can too," Taiga faintly smiled as she felt Yasuko kiss the top of her head before she sat back down and the two ate breakfast with small talk.

Taiga entered the room and saw Ryuuji sleeping on the bed and she sighed before closing the door behind her and walked towards the bed. Climbing onto the bed, she nuzzled closer to Ryuuji and the Vampire moaned before he opened his eyes and looked down in confusion, "Taiga? Isn't too early for you to take a nap an-"

"I'm keeping you company, Ryuuji, that's all," Taiga sighed as she shook her head, "I was talking to Yasuko while we were eating breakfast…I asked her how she couldn't hate me after all the hell I've put you through, she told me that we all make mistakes. I told her that my family are strict Catholic and what if my parents won't accept our relationship or that fact that I'm going to be a Vampire tonight or-"

"If they don't accept us or you being a member of the undead then that's on them…I will say this though, I'm going to bleed your father dry for the torment he's put you through,"

"Don't worry about him, Ryuuji," Taiga sighed and shook her head as she nuzzled up against him, "He only wanted to talk to me before he and my stepmom left town. He did that to me before, but the only difference is I had you and Yasuko to fall back on and not just Minori,"

"Yeah, but you'll always have me and Yasuko," Ryuuji slightly smiled before patting the top of Taiga's head, "I've told you, you can't get rid of me, and since Yasuko is here too, you're stuck with her,"

"And I don't mind it," Taiga smiled as she looked down, "You and Yasuko have been nothing but kind to me, even though I was a complete bitch towards you in the beginning and I feel like I'm part of the family…you always cooked for me and Yasuko treated me as if I was her daughter," Ryuuji hummed as he wrapped an arm around Taiga and rubbed her back, "Ryuuji…I want my parents to be here tonight,"

Ryuuji looked down and arched a brow, "A little sudden, don't you think? And didn't you just get down saying that they might not accept this or something an-"

"I know…but it'll technically be our wedding and I want my parents there too…if they come, they come, if not…it's their loss, but I want to at least try to invite them over,"

"Yeah…but…would they even be able to make it here before I turn you tonight?" Taiga hummed and shrugged her shoulders, "Do you want to wait until they can make it an-"

"You promised you weren't going to talk me out of it and you're not…if they can't make it then it won't be that big of a deal. I was just trying to be nice," Taiga moaned and shook her head, "Even though they just abandoned me in this apartment, they're still my parents and I want to try and invite them to this event,"

"And you just got done saying what if they don't accept you being a Vampire not five minutes ago," Taiga frowned and Ryuuji sighed and shook his head, "You can't have it both ways…but if you think that them being here is important then invite them. If they can make it, great, if not, it's their loss," Taiga nodded as Ryuuji yawned and closed his eyes, "You do what you want. I'm going back to sleep,"

"Okay…and sorry I woke you, Ryuuji,"

"Don't worry about it, Taiga," Ryuuji yawned again before drifting off to sleep and Taiga crawled out of bed and walked out of the room and closed the door behind her.

Well…I don't know where I'm heading with Taiga's parents, but I needed to bring them up soon and I figured it be best to get it done now. Enjoy.
