Sorry for the long wait lol. I had this chap written out for like a week, but never uploaded it. And then I found out that like 6 ppl had PMed, 4 answering my questions and 2 saying that they wanted to help me write some of the story ideas I had on my other story, so I kinda freaked out bc they had messaged me like 4 months ago lol. Anywho, here you go.
Everytime I start to write the chapter my mom makes me go do the dishes.
Today is the day of the first concert. It starts in one hour, but I was right about it being packed. Not everyone is here yet, because I was told we got sold out, but the concert hall already looks full.
Right now, I'm sitting in my dressing room for my stylist, since apparently I don't have a good enough fashion sense to dress myself. Hoodies and jeans are very fashionable, okay? Even if I mostly wear leather, I still love hoodies. I have like 40.
I hear a knock on the door and turn to see my stylist, Anne, walk through. "Hey Max," Anne smiled. I returned the smile. Even though Anne wasn't a sister to me, not like Nudge and Angel, she was definitely like a cousin or something.
Anne walked over to my closet and said, "So I was thinking about what you should wear and how about your leather jacket, with this shirt," she held up a plaid blue, black, and white button up, "with some black ripped jeans, your grey converse, and maybe your beanie? If you don't want the beanie, we can pull up your hair into a ponytail or something."
I nodded. "Sounds good. Thanks Anne." She smiled. "It's my job."
I walked over to my closet and got the jeans and the shirt from Anne and slid them on. I walked back over to Anne and she cocked her head, and clicked her tongue. "I don't know how well I like that shirt, try the red and black button up."
I walked back over to the wardrobe and did as I was told. I showed Anne and she nodded, saying she liked this better. "Come sit down and let's see what to do with you're hair," she orders, marching me over to the dresser.
She ends up leaving it down, just making it look a little wind blown, before sliding my grey beanie on my head. She puts some eyeliner and some clear lip gloss on, but that's the only makeup I wear. I have some black studs I put in my ears, and a smaller black stud in one ear, in the second hole.
"We got done earlier then I thought," Anne mused. "You can go check on Nudge and Angel if you want. You have 30 minutes." I nodded and walked off to find Nudge.
I eventually find her room, and her stylist is just leaving. "Hey Max!" Nudge chirps as I walk through the door. "Sup," I drawl, looking at her outfit.
She's wearing a cocktail dress, and it's sleeveless. It's mostly pink, but slanted black that running down across it. It has a black sash in the middle. She has on a black choker, and black wedges, I think. Hey I'm learning! She's also wearing black fingerless gloves, and her curly hair is just left wild. I don't really know all the make up she was wearing.
"You look nice," I complement. She smirks. "Thanks."
"You wanna go get Ange?" I ask. She nods her answer and skips out the door, crosses the hall to where Angel is at. Angel was wearing a black skirt, that was about mid thigh, and had a long sleeve maroon sweater. She had a black wedges and her hair was in a weird but cool bun.
"Hey Ange, you look pretty. We gotta go find the boys," I say. (A/N my cat that doesn't like me just came and sat in my lap XD carry on) She nods and follows me and Nudge out the door. We find Gazzy first. He was eating at the snack bar. He was wearing light wash blue jeans, a T-shirt with an orange and red stripe across it, a Jean jacket, and a necklace with a fishhook on it. He was wearing his Air Force ones. His stylist had spiked his hair back into a mohawk and sprayed temporary hair dye in it.
The Gasman said he knew where Iggy's rumors, so he let us there we bumped into Fang on the way to Iggy. He was wearing his signature leather jacket, black cargo like pants with a chain and a light gray shirt. His hair was perfectly imperfect, like always. He did look sort of cute in his outfit. Not that I would ever tell him.
Fang looked at me and smirked. I don't know why. "Guys, y'all are on in two!" One of the stage crew yelled. We all yelled something back. It is mostly just noise is telling him we've heard.
We ran to the curtain, hoping Iggy would be there. He was. He was wearing jeans, sneakers, a white blue button up, and a gray blazer. He had his diamond stud in his ear, and his hair was spiked. I think he was the only one with earrings.
I looked at the other boys. The Gadman didn't, and I was about to say that Fang didn't either when something glittered. He had one earring in one ear. The other didn't have any. It was just a tiny black earring. Marty came out to us with a guy behind him, and said, "Go! The show is starting!"
We all nodded and fast walked onto stage. As soon as we were in sight, screams exploded. I felt a grin form on my face. It was right when we walked on stage when I remembered how much I loved performing. I walked up to the center of the stage as everyone went to their perspective places and instruments. I grabbed the mic and yelled, "How's everyone doing tonight?!" Everyone screams louder. I grin even bigger.
"That's awesome guys. So quick intro time. Blondie with the base is Angel, on the keyboard is Nudge, electric guitar is the Gasman, a.k.a. Gazzy, on drums is Iggy, the dark brooding thing beside me is Fang, and I'm Max."
Fang elbowed me when I introduced him, and I smirked at him, which made people scream louder. I looked at the crowd in confusion. "Why'd you scream?" I asked.
One girl in the front yelled, "because you two are cute together!" I made a noise of protest. "Why would I date this? He's not on my level."
Fang made a grunt of indignation and snatched the mic from me and said, "what she means is that I'm too good for her." I grabbed the mic back and rolled my eyes. "No, I meant what I said." I smiled cheekily up at him. "Anyway! Let's get this party started!" I nodded at Iggy and he counted us off for the first song.
Where are the Hero's - The red jumpsuit apparatus.
Where are the heroes!
It's dark out
The water falls to the ground
I shift gears
No one cares if I make it out
Brake light glare my blank stare tells what I'm about
Quitting is easy when no one's around
Late it's too late to get it right
Whenever I try
Red lights pass
My life flashes before my eyes
Late it's too late to get it right
When all I find are villains and zeros
Where are the heroes
I know you've been here before in your life
I came through
And now you're nowhere left in sight
Leaving is easy when no one's around
Late it's too late to get it right
Whenever I try
Red lights pass
My life flashes before my eyes
Late it's too late to get it right
When all I find are villains and zeros
Where are the heroes
Where are the heroes
Where are the
Where are the
Where are the heroes
Where are the
Where are the
Where are the heroes
Where are the heroes
Where are the heroes
Where are the heroes
Late it's too late to get it right
Whenever I try
Red lights pass
My life flashes before my eyes
Late it's too late to get it right
When all I find are villains and zeros
Where are the heroes
Where are the heroes
Where are the heroes
Villains and zeros
Where are the heroes
(Just make their parts up in your head. I don't feel like editing it lol)
Time skip- two hours later
"Good night Arizona!" I yell as we leave the stage. We are all breathing heavy, but grinning wildly. Well, Fang is smirking bigger then usual, but still. "That was awesome!" Iggy yelled when we got backstage. He held his hand up for Fang to slap, and he obliged. We talked about how amazing that was on the way to Iggy's dressing room, which was apparently right next to the stage.
"Great job guys!" Marty congratulated when we walked into the room. We tell him thanks, collapsing on the couch, grabbing the water bottles there.
10 minutes later, Iggy says he wants to shower before we head out to the bus to the rest of the tour, so we all file out of his room to our respective rooms. Mine and Fang's rooms are the farthest, so after about a minute of walking we are by ourselves. I'm grabbing my doorknob when Fang stops me.
"Max, wait, I need to talk to you." I pause my movements, raising an eyebrow signaling him to go on. "Can we be friends? Like I know we've been tolerating each other but-" he cuts himself off as he awaits my answer.
Did I want to be friends?. He annoyed me to no end. But these past couple days when we weren't at each other's throats have been kind of fun. I slowly nodded. "Why not?"
He looks slightly relieved. "Okay," he nods. He looks at the ground and sticks his hands in his pockets. I tap on my door and say, "I'm gonna go in now," and give him a small smile. He bites his lip and returns the smile. "Bye Tooth," I say as I shut the door." I stand behind the door and hear him say, "bye Shorty," before his almost silent footsteps start to walk away, until I can't hear them anymore. I collapse on my couch.
I guess I made a new friend.
And scene. Again, I'm sorry it took so long to post this.
Also, if you haven't watched Julie and the Phantoms yet, you really need to. It's on Netflix.
You can find everyone's outfits on my Pinterest profile MUSICfreak. My profile pic is of an animated pic of someone wearing headphones. It's black and orange of that helps lol. The boards are called Max Ride Story Outfit idea, Angel story outfit idea, and so on.
