Forest
Weiss stood all alone in the middle of a thick forest, towering trunks with thick foliage easily casting a shadow over him. He remained still, patient at best.
The trees, as large as they were, rustle against the blowing of the wind through their leaves. Some leaves were unfortunate to have been plucked off from that force, swaying through their descent.
He looked as some staff was thrown at him from the side.
With a blink, he sharply moves away from the trajectory of the staff.
Upon landing on the ground, he looked upward and threw cards made of pink energy at the direction where the staff was thrown. It caused an explosion and heard someone scream with it as he heard someone approach from behind. He swerved to evade the swipe of the gunblade of Claire before teleporting when she clicked the trigger.
An explosion burst from the gunblade, creating a great flash of energy from the area where Claire attacked. She swung her gunblade to the side, seeing only the forest with torn soil ahead of her.
Weiss appeared upward and turned to see a boulder coming towards his location. He drew one card and threw it to the side. Just as the boulder nearly touches him, he suddenly flickers away, and at the card which he had thrown just now, evading the launched boulder.
Brandt looked as a card made its way to him. It glowed and sent forth a powerful geyser directed toward him.
"Whoah!" He yelps, quickly jumping over to dodge the geyser.
He looks just in time to see a stream of umbral energy headed his way. "Yow!" Brandt quickly held his hammer to guard against the blast.
Weiss looked at the distance before teleporting to evade Claire's swipes.
He reappears at a spot before he then kicked off from the tree he landed on just as Gray came over and swung his staff at it.
He sighed over this as he teleported once again and caused Claire to stumble a bit as Gray's thrown stuff hit her. He flinched at this.
"Ow... Gray...!" She complains, rubbing her snout. "Weiss is our target. If I had been it, you'd have finished it just now."
"Ya'ow, he's too fast!" Gray shouted.
"Stop talking! We're running out of-" Brandt lumbers to them.
Before he finishes, they heard whirling as the forest around them... glitched? No, it just fizzled out, revealing a simulated mechanical dome around them. Weiss stood on one of the arms of a faraway pillar.
"...Time?" Weiss finishes for Brandt.
WINGS HQ: Simulation Room
The three groaned and sat down, failed once again.
"You're too fast, yo!" Gray complained.
"Wasn't that the point of this exercise?" Claire says. "We need to be able to land on small, nimble targets. And including teleportation."
Gray groaned before dismissing his staff. However, he looked proud of something even if he failed. "At least I was fast and accurate enough to hit him, yo!" He declared as Claire looked at how cracked her breastplate was after that strike.
"You hit me over there..."She mumbles.
"Ya'ow..." Gray mumbled with disappointment as Brandt looked at her damaged breastplate.
His eyes focused on the cracks where he could see what Claire had compressed behind her breastplate, breathing rapidly in sharp breaths. Weiss walked toward them as the simulations of the room disappear slowly, they were greeted by the dull silver confines of the room they were in. They looked at Weiss heading out of the room.
"Where're you going?" Claire asks, putting her coat down behind her. Weiss turns and replies. "I'm heading to the International Police HQ today, remember?"
"International Police HQ? What do ya want there, ya'ow?" Gray asked.
"Something's concerning them and they would like one WINGS member to come and check in on the imprisoned people." Weiss tells Gray. He looked away and mutters under his breath. "...And it does provide benefit to be able to stay half a day away from the polar bear..."
"What didja say, ya'ow!?" Gray huffed.
"Hm?" Claire tilts her head with the muttering she couldn't make out. Her hands reached to the back of the straps holding her breastplate.
"...Nothing..." Weiss replies.
"I need to get a new breastplate..." Claire comments, undoing the straps fully. Her damaged breastplate then falls right in front of her.
Brandt's eyes widened as he sucked in a sharp breath.
His eyes fixated onto the free chest area belonging to Claire.
He stared as drastically large mounds bounced once they were free from their covers. So bouncy and nice to look at, hidden away from those large metallic covers. Oh, he had the urge to jump in and lie on top of those.
"Hm?" Claire looked at him, completely oblivious of the reason of his focus on her.
They bounced. Brandt jolts. ...Blood ran down from his nose.
Weiss quietly stares before he heads out of the room.
"Huh? Brandt? What's wrong with your nose?" Claire asks.
Brandt wiped them and jolted upon seeing blood. He looked around frantically for some excuse about it and spotted some puddle made from Weiss's attack earlier.
"O-oh! That... I got hit by that!" He claims. "Water doesn't do me good, you know that, right?"
She just stared at him. "Huh? I thought..."
He waved his arms frantically. "Ya'ow, Brandt!" Gray shrieked as Brandt almost hit him.
"O-oh, sorry, Gray! I mean-I'm gonna be fine! Yeah!" The Rhyperior blubbers.

WINGS HQ
"W-Well, we'd be off now..." Fran says. He twiddled his fingers close to each other. It was a two-mon mission to investigate an area. Possibilities of Dulled lurking in there is quite considerable.
It wasn't the details of the mission that had Fran nervous. It was who will be with him.
"Hey there, pretty lady!" A member called. "Will you be alright? How about I help you out?"
"O-oh, I already have someone working with me..." Fran tells that member. "And... I'm a..."
That member was knocked out in one swipe. Fran jolted to see Luigi walk around the member's downed body and looked at him with concern.
"Are you alright?" He asked. "He didn't bother you or anything, right?"
"Uh..." Fran held his hands. "N-no... But, you didn't have to..."
Luigi lifted the member up and placed him onto on a chair with a comic book on his head to make it appear like he was sleeping. Luigi looked at Fran. "He seemed to be bothering you and you were uncomfortable." He justified. "I know how much it hurts you and I want you to not be afraid. I am here for you."
"L-Luigi, I... uh..." Fran twiddled his fingers again, speaking softly. "...Th...Thank you..."
Luigi smiled and pat his taller adopted younger brother on the head. "I'm glad to help and you are someone I do not want to lose too. You're an important person of my life."
Fran jumps lightly and he blushes deeply. "I-uh... Um... me too..." he mumbles softly.
"Come on, we've got work to do." Luigi reminded as he went on. "If something bothers you, you can tell me what it is."
"A-alright..." Fran nods quietly. He starts beating his wings, picking up to hovering above ground before he follows his older brother. He wondered about his skills and capabilities he has compared to his older brother. Was he holding him back?
He stops moving while he was deep in thought of his own abilities, hovering on a spot with flaps of his wings. Fran... granted that he wasn't like many of the others, he... never had any form of confidence in himself.
He looked at Luigi's back as he walked off. 'I... I don't want to cause any problems...' he thinks quietly. 'But... I wish... I could be like you... and the others... fighting knowing how you can do it.. '
"Fran?"
"H-huh?"
Luigi looked at him with concern. "Are you alright?"
Fran quickly nods. "I-I'm alright...!"
Luigi nodded, "Alright, come on."
"O-okay!" Fran hurries over to Luigi's side as they headed off for their mission.

En Route to International Police HQ
Weiss was reading a book as he sat on the aircraft on the way to the International Police HQ. The book he read about was about the origins of Summoning Magic and what made it special compared to the rest.
"...Summoning Magic... to repeat... its' akin to lost arts of magic..." He mutters to himself.
He reflected... It was mainly used as a last resort kind of Magic. Anyone who summons an Eidolon or anything close to them meant overusing every Magical energy they had left and instantly incapacitate them after usage. In the old times, Summoners don't require their conscience to be lost and can keep fighting along with their summoned ally. He looked at that incident during the time when there was a traitor amongst them. The assassination of the Grand Summoner, Celestia Brightwick.
"...This name, Celestia Brightwick..." He begins, flipping through a page and reading there.
He saw a picture of a chandelier with a striped round head and a pair of yellow pupiless eyes connected by a stitched line. The frames around her were black with two arms that held two candles and a pointy end on each and a pointed end at the buttom of the head. The flames that were lit on her candles and the top of her head were made of spectral energy. These spectral flames burnt strongly.
He knew this species, a Chandelure, infamous for burning souls of those who lived, leaving them to wander the world aimlessly. Without hope and without purpose, lost and broken. However, this Chandelure...
A master of summoning arts and was known for her kindness and beauty. He looked about the details of her murder.
"..." He stopped at the starting paragraph before following the lines.
"A rare kind of Dulled called the Colossus appeared in the ocean and attacked Galar. Celestia was deployed in the field by summoning the Eidolon, Leviathan, into battle. The summoning caused too much strain on her and once summoning was done, she was found dead along with her guards. Autopsy details that she wasn't killed by the strain of summoning a high-class Eidolon, but someone murdered her on the spot along with her guards. With her death, the secrets of Summoning Magic was gone forever."
He lowers the book down slightly. "Family Members: Unknown, those who knew her forgotten her because of the Dynacrystal. Details of her family were gone along with her death."
There was nothing else that was able to be recorded at this age... since the Dynacrystals made them forget the dead, which included important information about lost arts and relics.
Weiss held the book as he took a look at the travel route of the aircraft. He looked ahead and spotted some kind of HQ overhead. It was...
"...International Police HQ." Weiss hears the announcement from the aircraft.
Weiss nodded as he put his hood on and stood up from his seat. He then made his way to the aircraft's doors, it opened as he hopped off and looked around.
So far, doesn't seem to be anything right now. He looked at some reports which were sent to them prior to this. It said that some of the imprisoned criminals have been acting very strangely, chanting of something, but all the same.
'The End will Come.'
What did it mean? He looked around the hallways and then went about to find the way to where criminals were apprehended.
He needed to know the answers to these... Through this day here, hopefully figure out something.

Around Sinnoh Battle Frontier
"Hm, this tea house is quite quaint." Takan comments, taking a seat on a wooden bench as he opened his mouth to sip tea. He looks at his torso, draped with fine-woven fabric which he was given while he took a rest here. "And the tea here is brewed well, reminiscent of the east. Perhaps so that-"
He paused. He quickly took note of some wind blowing, but it wasn't natural.
Better ignore it, it won't be that important. Just relax and it would be fine. He looked down at his tea, perfectly brewed and well fermented tea leaves made from this. Just as he was about to take another sip...
He felt another gust of wind, this time stronger.
His eyes sharpened in reaction, releasing the cup from his forearms and his hindarm reaches for the side of his waist as something began to appear at that spot just as a speeding fireball came towards him.
It neared and he drew his hindarm out as the fireball appeared to consume him.
However, the fireball was instead separated into harmless pieces. Takan swings down a red-bladed katana by his right. By his left, was a sheath which housed three katanas, with different coloured sheaths and one empty sheath right now.
He looked around his surroundings, all burnt to a crisp because of the fireball... Including his shirt. His exposed abdominal muscles expanded and contracted in the heated environment as he sees a red-scaled wyrm-like monster fly through the air.
"Hm! Interrupting rest for someone is rude!" Takan prepares his katana.
It charged in at him as he gripped the handle tightly. And he swings.

WINGS HQ: Commander's Office
Gardious looked at the files of lost loved ones. Or what this portfolio he kept in his office spoke about.
There are names, information, but he never could recall anything.
...He sighed to himself quietly, looking down at himself... and then at his coat.
He looked over the scar underneath his beard-like feathers. Even to this day, this still burned and painful to touch. Anything that touched it meant a burning pain to be felt around it. He wondered why he refused it to be healed for it reminded him of something he had forgotten.
...Fire... Though his typing would make him more vulnerable to this, the large patch of permanently burnt skin around his throat...
He looked over some pictures of some people he never knew. A group picture of him with three more Pokémon with him. A Tranquil, an Electabuzz, a Kadabra with glasses on his face... and then a Corvisquire at the middle, him. It was only... himself he knows from the past. The others... he can't even recall any trace of themselves in his memories.
He looked over another picture of a Chandelure overlooking him as he escorted an Altaria with the Tranquil from the other picture. He only knew the Altaria.
He breathed quietly to himself, staring at that image.
...
...
...No...No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't remember them. He looked, when did he ever smiled like that?
There had to be reasons for it... but they aren't there... at least, not any longer.
He looked up and spotted Iggy going up in front of him.
"Emberkin." Gardious greets.
Iggy nodded. These young group of Pokémon...Despite not of the same flesh and blood, they were his pride and joy... like... his very children...
"Commander?" He asks.
Gardious was snapped out of his thoughts and looked back.
"...Ah, Emberkin. Were you about to speak of something?"
He nodded and showed a report about some Flame Wyrm sightings.
"Commander, it says that a Flame Wyrm has appeared abruptly. We'll need to form a team to handle it." Iggy tells him.
He nodded as he looked at those who would be available for this mission. Flame Wyrn was known for its fire so he needed members with advantages over it and provide minimal risk for the mission. "...Hmm..." Gardious filed through the selection of available members. Some that had better capabilities for this foe are already in another mission.
It took a while until he nodded of who will be in this mission.
"...Alright." He looked at Iggy. "Emberkin..."
Iggy looked up as he was given the list of who will be joining him for this mission. "Oh..." He read the list. "Commander, are you certain about this? Bringing in one of the latest recruits?"
Gardious nodded. "Yes."
He nodded and went out of the office to meet up with the members assigned for this mission. He hurried onward to meet them up and neutralize this threat before it could be a threat for anyone's lives.

WINGS HQ: Outside Hangars
"Hmm, so we'll be having a new recruit with us on this mission." Sunai ponders.
Brandt nodded as he turned to Iggy, hoping that the recruit would be a cute girl. Iggy looked at him.
"Yeah, tell us more about this recruit!" He asked excitedly. "We're going to be great role models for this young recruit!"
"Good afternoon, I am Claus Helmerson." Someone called out, it caused everyone to look around to find the speaker of who introduced himself. "I am part of the 4th Division Defense Squad and I felt honored to join you all. I do hope that my skills with of the shield arts help and protect our allies from harm."
Brandt's hopes immediately fell, tilting his head down slowly.
There, he spotted the speaker who was some kind of armored penguin. This penguin had primarily black feathers with white running down the center. His yellow beak extends upwards from his face, three points pointing upwards and brackets his blue eyes. Around his neck and then downwards towards his belly area is something like a fin projection. He has wide, flipper-like wings rimmed with blue along the tips, and three golden claws.
He wore some kind of armor. The armor was quite plated, more resembling heavy armor but he appears to be able to move well in that mail of armor, streaked with material durable for impact.
However, the one that struck them the most was...
All of them had to bend down to see him.
He wasn't at the height of an average Empoleon, rather... short for his mannerisms and tone.
...
They stood there in silence.
Gray was the first to exclaim while Brandt looked devastated.
"Is this pipsqueak, the one who would be joining us, ya'ow?" He asked, not realizing what he brought upon himself.
In a second, Gray suddenly felt something pointing at his neck.
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING A PIPSQUEAK!!??" Claus screamed, thrusting his sword onward and caused Gray to yelp and evade the attack.
"And... don't talk about that..." Iggy finishes.
They stared as Claus calls out a shield and literally hurls it towards Gray. But the shield's movements seemed to be directed by the way Claus swung his flippers. It smacked Gray from one side as Claus directed it to the other side vertically.
After several more swerving strikes, Gray spun and fell to the floor face-first.
"...Phew. Oh, I apologize." Claus apologized, seemed to be back to normal and no longer an angry and violent ogre.
"Hmm... as to remind, you will be partaking in this mission with us." Sunai begins after a long silence. "And you're aware of the threat we'd encounter."
"Indeed, I've read about it and prepared what to do and the risk of being forgotten." Claus answered straightly. "I know, but I've accepted it long before joining WINGS. So no need for you to worry."
Sunai nods. "I see..."
Iggy walks over and nods while Gray was helped back onto his feet by Brandt. "We'll look forward to working with a recruit on a mission like this."
"Of course, the same could be said for me working with those who worked in here longer than I." Claus nodded.
A respectable recruit of WINGS... Around the same age as them; and older than himself. They looked onward, ready for the mission.
May 2nd, 2020
4:05 p.m.
Sinnoh Route 229
They looked about the area they were dropped off to.
"Sinnoh Route 229..." Iggy observes. "The Resort Area's the closest settlement there."
"What should we do, ya'ow?" Gray asked as Claus scanned the area.
"Gray, we will be eliminating the Flame Wyrm that is to come over here." Sunai reminds.
Iggy looked at Claus as he analyzed the terrain. Deep in thought as he listened to the sounds of the Flame Wyrm. He then looked around the area.
"...We should drop off from this point..." He mumbles . They looked at him.
"At here?" Brandt asks.
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Because we have to jump!"
They jumped off as a speeding fireball smashes through a wing of the aircraft. It steers easily out of control with the group of five landing before it finally plummets to a direction, an explosion resounding soon afterward.
"Ow, next time... just tell us in advance, okay?" Brandt asks as gets up on his feet.
"Does this happen often?" Claus asked.
"Well... You'll get used to these sort of abrupt situations after the first few times..." Iggy replies.
"Hey, can you get off, ya'ow?" Gray asked, he was below everyone.
"Oh." The other four got off of Gray.
They looked at the distance to see the Flame Wyrm wreathed in its' produced fire, its' flaps bringing down flames around it.
"I see someone." Claus analyzed. "They're engaging the Dulled by themselves."
"What?" Iggy looks over at the Flame Wyrm.
"We'd best help or save them." Sunai calls his bayonet and aimed.
"He isn't wearing a shirt." Claus added, causing everyone to turn to him. "What is it?"
No shirt? They took a look again, seeing silver and pale purple moving about.
"Sensei!?" Brandt exclaims when he saw who was indeed Takan leap to avoid a fireball.
He held a katana as he ran. He looked to see the movement of the Flame Wyrm went to next. It appeared like he was charging the blade's power as he went.
Takan brings the blade to the side and he shouts out as he swings it.
Streaks of ruby energy flew over, hitting the Flame Wyrm's body.
"We... we can't just stand here!" Brandt exclaims after everyone had remained watching. "Help him out!" He grabs his hammer.
"Understood!" Claus nodded, calling out a sword and a shield on his flippers.
Iggy nodded, already covering his hands with his gloves.
"Ya'ow!" Gray exclaimed as he dashed ahead with his staff.
Sunai loaded several bullets into his bayonet and fired them towards the Flame Wyrm.
The Flame Wyrm was about to gulp Takan whole when bullets combusted on its sides that caused it to flinch and gave Takan the chance to evade the bite. He slashed the Flame Wyrm with terrifying force of another katana as a shield made its way to Takan. He saw this and used it to knock the Flame Wyrm back and as a springboard to give him some distance as he charged some bolts into one katana. He unleashed a row of lightning bolts to crash down upon the Dulled. He landed on the ground as a staff smacked the Dulled by the side. He turned to see Iggy running up to him.
"Sensei, a lift!" He shouts.
"You're hunting th-Alright then." Takan used one hindarm to provide leverage.
Iggy run up too him and placed one foot on it. Takan then lifted that hand up and let him go above the Flame Wyrm.
With a swerve, the Infernape yells out as he charges his fists with electricity before slamming them onto the Flame Wyrm's back.
The Flame Wyrm flinched and turned to Iggy and fired a fireball at him. Claus shield flew toward Iggy and shielded him from the flames. Iggy did a backflip with the shield as Brandt jumped and used the shield as a springboard and got above the Flame Wyrm. He went down and slammed his hammer on the back.
"How'd you like that?" He says. "I've got another one... right here!" He loaded a boulder from his palm and fired it.
Gray's staff returned as the Pangoro swung it at the Dulled's side.
"Hraggh!" Gray shouted into the Dulled's eardrums, causing it to roar in pain and stumbled on the ground. It fired a fireball at Claus as he jumped away and rolled on the ground. He threw the shield at the Dulled and jumped to avoid a root. The shield was engulfed with a flash of brilliance as it spins to smash against the Wyrm's head.
It roared in pain as fire spurt out of its body. It caused a massive explosion in the vicinity as Claus set up a barrier with Brandt reinforcing it with a wall of earth.
"Sir!" Claus called out as Iggy jumped over the barrier he created.
"Leave this to me...!" Iggy held out his hands and the explosive force was maintained in the area it exerted from.
Takan readied one of his katanas and it began to gain great force from it.
"Emberkin, clear out a path!" Takan announces.
He nodded as he waved his hand and spread the explosion flames upwards to leave a clear path for Takan.
Takan nodded as the blade finished charging at full-power.
"Force Form..." Takan rushes through the spacing of the flames, towards the Flame Wyrm at a flickering speed. He stops in front of the Flame Wyrm, driving his katana right through into its' chest, causing it to screech.
"...Third Divider!" With a stomp onto the ground, he stomps into the air, pulling up the entire weight of the Flame Wyrm along with him.
As he pulls out in a flash, he sheathed and unsheathed another katana, now taking wind in the blade. "Swell Form: Tornado!" His spinning slash then generated large currents of wind, forming into the namesake of his technique. "Storm Form..." Takan sheaths that katana and draws out the third one, releasing lightning from it.
He spun and slashed vertically. "...Voltalic Roar!" The slash on the Flame Wyrm discharged violent sparks of electricity, combined with the tornado and already damaging wound from it caused an immense combination of damage simultaneously.
The Flame Wyrm roared once more as its body was engulfed in flames. The team watched as the Flame Wyrm then began to combust on itself, ready to explode as a last resort.
"Sir!" Claus called as his shield glowed intensely.
Takan lands and he notices the imminent explosion, falling back to the barrier's range.
"Huph...!" Iggy braced himself, the explosion would cover up plenty of space; he'd have to help redirect it away from the residential areas.
The Flame Wyrm finally reaches it's peak and it releases an explosion from within its' core.
Claus held onward as the flames consumed the team with his barrier preventing them from being burnt alive by the flames. He strained himself to protect them. He needed to hold on. Silhouettes filled his mind. "I won't let them be taken!" He declared defiantly.
Iggy finally got good control over this explosion. "...Hraaaaaaagh!" He threw his hands up, causing the entire explosion to stop spreading around the area and instead suddenly shoot upwards into the air, where it would be less harmful. The explosion, after being forced up into the clear skies above for a long time, soon dies out and disappears away entirely.
Claus panted, let the barrier down, and looked at the others. "Is everyone okay?" He asked.
"Fine... fine...!" Brandt breathes out.
"You're quite impressive, Claus." Sunai comments. "Your defensive capabilities are quite something."
"Yeah, not bad for a shortie, ya'ow!" Gray exclaimed before receiving a painful bash from Claus's shield. "Shortie!? Can a shortie do this!?" Claus roared.
"Ugh... phew...!" Iggy laid onto his back. "My arms ache a lot from these enemy fire manipulations..."
"Hmm, maybe it's time we should all return to HQ, yes?" Takan says, looking at Iggy.
Iggy nodded as he jumped onto his feet. "Yes, Sensei-ugh..." He held his arms.
"Yo, Iggs!" Gray exclaimed. "Ya alright?"
"I just... I'll need to take a few days off..." Iggy replies.

WINGS HQ: Training Grounds
"Um, sir?" Claus asked Brandt. "Is there a reason why you wanted to meet up with the new line of recruits?"
"Yes... I mean, uh..." Brandt looks about. "Where are they, where are they?"
He spotted a group of new faces around. They moved about and he could spot some beautiful women among them.
"Ooh!" He gasps excitedly to himself.
"Hm?" Claus looked as Brandt scanned the area and spotted someone.
That someone was a small female being made of some salted whipped cream with a swirl of it making up the blob hair, pair of looped bangs with some strawberries on them, and a pair of round fringes on the sides of her round face. There were some blue stripes of swirls around her body. For her body, it resembled a dress made of the same cream with a scarf-like swirl over her chest with short arms with three fingers each. She had red eyes. She wore some kind of light armor with a skirt over her dress-like body, a breastplate that covered her chest, and a pair of gauntlets over her little arms. She was embracing something, but Brandt couldn't find out what it was.
"Um...Sir?" Claus asked as Brandt had his eyes glued over that young female Pokémon.
"...I've to talk to her..." He mumbles.
"Okay, it is a curtesy to greet new members of our organization." Claus agreed and followed Brandt to greet her.
"...Hey there!" Brandt calls out to her.
"Hm?" She heard the call as she slowly turned to the pair.
"Good a-" Claus began with a curt bow but was cut off when Brandt screams "...Whattheholyheckisthat!?"
Claus was startled and turned to Brandt. "Sir, what's the matter?"
'L-Look what she's holding!"
"Huh, what is sh-" Claus was at a loss for words for what she carried. All color disappeared from his body upon the sight of the stuffed toy she carried.
It was a Dulled stuff toy and this Dulled was called a Twintania... a hybrid-like monster that was pretty ferocious and deadly.
"Is something the matter?" She asked, confused as to why they were freaked out.
"..."
"I brought her with me for comfort when they tested my aptitude with magic. I've passed and now I am part of the Assault Squad 1." She sounded happy. "I can't believe I went to among the top unit."
"..." Claus shook.
"..." Brandt remained silent.
"Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Pretzel Swirl, it's nice to meet you." She introduced.
"...Oh... It's nice to meet you too... Lady Swirl." Claus replied while almost eating his words from the fright.
"...H...Hello..." Brandt... rather croaks out.
Pretzel looked embarrassed as she reached out for something with her other arm. "Um...If it's alright, would you want some of these?" She asked as she took out two keychains of the Dulled...
"...N-No!" Brandt yelps.
"I am sorry, but I must respectfully decline." Claus jolted.
"I see..." She looked down. "Okay, I'll be seeing you two." She then left, the two were still silent and stood still with shock and fear.
"...That was... creepy."
"In...deed..."

WINGS HQ: Pentaster's Office
"How long will Emberkin take a rest?" Gardious asks Pentaster from that last mission's record.
"It would take a couple of days." He answered, looking at the reports. "He overdid himself with manipulating the flames to minimize the casualties of civilians to zero. He exerted twice he could do for it to happen. You know him, he's like that, never letting innocent lives be lost."
"I see." Gardious nods attentively.
"That's the Emberkin we know, I think the overworking comes from me." Pentaster sighed. "Alright, I'll keep his advice and take some rest."
"Yes..." Gardious replies. "And back to you..." He turns over to Takan.
Takan was trying to figure out how a touchscreen mobile phone works. Again. And for him, trying is a huge definition.
"When did you engage against the Flame Wyrm at that time of day?"
Takan looked up and scratched his head. "How do you use these things?" He asks.
"No, Takan. The Flame Wyrm."
Takan thought about it before nodding. "Ah... then here is what occurred..." He begins.
He told them the details of the battle and both sighed when they heard that Takan lost his shirt when the battle began.
"You were drinking some tea around 1200 hours..." Pentaster began.
"And then a fireball came over at that point of time." Gardious continues. "Which you then..."
Takan nodded of how he engaged the Flame Wyrm until Iggy's team arrived.
"...And after a leap over several trees, then backing off and jumping over raised land... that was when the team came over and it continued since then." Takan finishes up the story of his encounter.
Gardious nodded in affirmation while Pentaster raised some of Takan's arms to check for any injuries sustained. He looked around... There doesn't appear to be any sort of burns around him.
...But why was it only just his shirt that was destroyed from that first fireball?
"..."
"Pentaster?" Takan asks.
"...How is your body shirt-resistant?" He wondered.
"Hm?" Takan wondered what he meant exactly.
"...Never mind."
Chapter 7 Concluded
