A/N: Hey everyone! It's been awhile since I've updated! I've been really sick from a head injury and am finally beginning to feel like myself again! Not to mention, ya boi is getting married in a few months! Been super busy, but don't ever think I forgot about my stories! Thank you for being so patient!

.

Dating someone like Fia was definitely something that Sebastian had never expected to happen to him. There were days when he struggled to keep up with her and days where she slowed down more to his pace. Yet he could never say that there was a boring day when they were together.

Something felt different inside of him. The more time he spent with Fia, the happier he felt. He also found himself hardly ever longing for the city anymore. It was as if his heart finally felt at peace now that he had her in his life. Was she truly what he had needed all along? With every passing day, he fell more and more in love with the strange, little farmer.

Instead of spending his days in front of a computer screen, he spent them in the attached garage of his home. He was hoping to fix up his motorcycle while it was still nice out. It had been so long since he had ridden it, and if the ride was smooth, he wanted to take Fia for a ride with him. Just thinking about her small body clinging and pressed to his was enough of a thrill to motivate him. He honestly didn't know what he'd do when it became a reality.

One afternoon as he worked in the garage, Sam came by. The blond sat on a milk crate and watched his best friend switch from tool to tool to improve the beautiful motorcycle before them. "I thought you decided not to ride this anymore," he mused, elbows resting on his knees as he cradled his head in his hands. His blue eyes widened. "Wait, don't tell me! You're fixing her up to take Fia on a ride, aren't you?"

"And if I am?" Sebastian grumbled back. Though tuning Sam out sounded like a good idea, there was no telling what nonsense he was going to say about Fia to get his attention again. "Is it really that hard to believe? I think she'd like it."

"Where are you going to take her?"

He thought for a moment. "I'm going to take her to that cliffside where you can get that amazing view of Zuzu City," Sebastian decided. "She'll love it!"

"Do you really think she will, or is that just your own interests speaking?" The blond leaned toward his best friend, quirking up an eyebrow. "What do you want to happen once you two reach the cliffside? You'll see the city off in the distance and then what? You'll give her a Mermaid Pendant?"

Sebastian nearly choked on the air he was inhaling in that moment, coughing furiously. "W-What?! What are you talking about?! Isn't marriage a bit too early for me and her?!" He struggled to get his breathing back to normal, but it was as useless of an attempt as it was to slow his pounding heart.

"Think about it, Seb. Don't you want to marry her?"

"Well yeah, but she and I are still just starting to get to know each other, you know? Don't you think it's too soon. We've only been dating for a few months. What if I freak her out by becoming too serious too early?" His head was spinning with thoughts of everything that could possibly go wrong by jumping the gun too early on. "I can't even imagine the thought of her wanting to break up because I proposed too quickly."

Sam rolled his eyes, sighing as he leaned back against the wall of the garage. "Suit yourself. I mean, I guess you'd understand the pacing better than anyone else. It is your relationship, after all." He put his hands behind his head to cushion it against the cold garage wall. "And I suppose it's true that Fia is pretty unpredictable."

Sebastian considered Sam's words. "Do you think she and I are taking it slow?" he asked, rolling out from under his motorcycle to look at his friend. "I feel like everything is happening so fast, but since I've never experienced this sort of thing, I can't tell if I'm taking it too fast. What do you think I should do?"

"You should start by finishing up with your bike. Anything that happens afterward is all what's supposed to happen. Just go with the flow, Seb. I'm sure it will only lead to good things, y'know?"

"And if you're wrong?"

"Then I will run for the hills because I know you'll kill me."

Sebastian smirked and then rolled back under his bike. "Good answer."

.

About a week later, Sebastian sat on his motorcycle, about to take it for his first ride since his test drive. The sun was hanging low over the mountains. He preferred riding in the dark, having the highway mostly to himself. It was the most calming and sobering feeling in the world to him.

Just as he was heading out, he saw Fia coming up the path. He wasn't expecting her, but he figured that moment was his chance. Deciding to follow Sam's advice and go with the flow, he called out to her.

"Hey Fia. I was just about to head out." He nodded toward the space on the seat behind him. "Hop on...I wanna show you something."

Fia stood there for a moment, green eyes wide. Her heart hammered in her chest as she followed his instructions. Wrapping her arms around his waist and leaning on his back, she noticed that his heart was racing in the same way as hers was. She closed her eyes as the motorcycle took off, doing whatever she could to calm her racing heart.

.

They rode on for about an hour before Sebastian stopped the bike on a cliffside. "We've arrived," he told her, trying to loosen her grip on his torso. "Let's get off and stretch our legs." Dismounting the bike, he saw that Fia still had her eyes closed. "Come on, babe. It's okay, I've got you."

She opened her eyes, blushing, and allowed him to help her off of the bike. And then looking out over the edge of the cliff, she felt breathless. The sight she saw made her feel the weight of its beauty.

Sebastian moved to stand beside her. "That's Zuzu City in the distance…" he told her, voice dreamlike. "I come here when I want to get away from everything and just...think." He then turned away and lit a cigarette, taking a couple puffs.

Fia's gaze lingered on the city for a few moments before she turned to her boyfriend. "You should quit smoking, Sebby," she told him. "It's not good for your health."

He groaned loudly. "Ugh… You sound like my mom." Quelling his annoyance inside of him, he sighed. "You're right, though. I'm addicted to these things, and it's not good." Putting out his cigarette under his shoe, he grabbed Fia's hand as they looked out over the cityscape together. "The city used to draw me in...but now I'm finding myself happier at home in the valley."

For a moment, Sebastian remained silent before turning to look at his girlfriend. "Fia…? I don't usually bring girls to this place…" He gulped, feeling his cheeks burning. "You know what I'm trying to say, don't you?"

Fia then turned to meet his gaze, smiling softly at him. "Yeah," she softly said, nodding. Her cheeks were bright red with blush as she and Sebastian pulled each other into a passionate kiss.

.

When Sebastian took her home, Fia stopped him as he turned to leave. "It's late," she told him. "Stay here with me." She grabbed at his sleeve, giving him a small smile. "I know what you're thinking, and yes, that's exactly what I want tonight if you're willing to do it with me."

His eyes widened. "You mean….?"

"Honestly, it's all I could think about the whole way home." Her face was bright red as she met his eyes. "If you're wanting to as well, I want for us to…." Fia's voice trailed off as her embarrassment overwhelmed her.

"And you're sure that's what you want?"

She feebly nodded. "Yes. I've been thinking about it for awhile. It's no good if it's not you. I want you, Sebby. Please be with me tonight."

His heart pounded in his chest. Never in his life, did he ever imagine a woman would want to have sex with him, nor that she would be so forward in her request for it. Who was he to deny her such a thing?

Sebastian once again kissed her with the same passion as he had on the cliffside as she fumbled to open the door to her farmhouse. Locking it after them, he followed her lead to her bedroom, hardly taking time to separate his lips from hers. His desire for her had been awakened it, and there was no way he could deny it any longer.

Within minutes, layers of clothing were strewn across her bedroom floor as the two tangled together beneath the sheets. It was a night neither of them would ever forget.
