Robin leaned back against her husband's chest and closed her eyes. "I missed this so much...I missed us." She sighed, an ache in her heart. Jack sat the double-sided paddle in their kayak. It was an open top tandem one. It was mid afternoon of a weekday so they were pretty much all by themselves. "When was the last time we did anything like this, Robin?" Jack asked, knowing the answer already.

"A few years..." Robin answered after a moment of silence.

"I never meant to neglect you like this, honey. I thought if I worked hard enough I could earn more and keep getting promoted...to give you the life you deserve." Jack sighed, allowing himself to be vulnerable.

Robin twisted around to face him, "Jack...I don't need a luxurious life. I just need my husband." She said with tears running down her face. Jack nodded his head, his own face twisted. He kissed the top of her head tenderly.

"I love you, more than the sun and the moon and this Earth." Jack said with his own tears falling.

"Jack...I..." The words died in Robin's throat. How could she confess to him after that? "I love you more than anything." She managed to say, the guilt eating up her insides. Jack smiled and kissed her sweetly. Robin cried silent tears of remorse. How could she have done this to him?

Hank drove by Robin's house slowly. He noticed with a jolt that only Robin's car was there. Maybe that Jackass already left her alone again? Hank pulled in and practically leapt out of his truck. He pounded on the door, calling for his love to let him in. No answer. Was she even home? He considered letting himself in, but decided it would be best to leave and come back later.

Hank sulked as he drove around aimlessly in his truck. What was he to do now? The only person he wanted to spend time with was Robin. He couldn't stand that she was spending her limited time on this Earth with another man. It should be him that she gave all her sweet attention to. He gripped the steering wheel so tight that his knuckles turned white. Hank just wanted to fight for her love. He considered just telling Jack himself about the affair and speeding up their respective divorces so they could be together at last with no sneaking or interruptions. Sure she would be mad about it at first but she would see happily that they could be together all the time then. He would wine and dine her every weekend, make love like nobody's business...Hank nodded as his mind wandered off into that daydream. "Just the two of us...that'd be something I tell you what." He said to himself.

Hank shook his head, how could Nancy mess around for so long? He wanted to just be with Robin and stop living a double life. With a heavy sigh, he decided to just go home before someone called the cops on him for circling the block too much. He needed time to think. Time to plan. He was going to sweep her off her feet before she knew what hit her.
