Disclaimer: I own nothing. Jareth, Sarah, Toby and the Labyrinth all belong to Jim Henson, David Bowie and everyone else who worked to make that movie magical.

A/N: Well it is Wednesday and I have another chapter for you all. I am still currently on chapter 11. I will explain more later, but apparently chapter 11 was hijacked and I am still trying to get a hold on it to get it finished. I am still far enough ahead that there should be no problems with the weekly updates.

So here is chapter 7, another peachy chapter. Not full on peach, but a little juice to give you a taste. Thank you to everyone who has read or keeps reading this fic as I release chapters. Thank you to all who have reviewed, favorited, and followed I am truly humbled. I love hearing opinions on what I write since I am still fairly new to it (After taking nearly 30 years off). Some of you have sparked some ideas and plot bunnies, but I am determined to finish this one before starting anything new.

Again thank you for reading, and if you get a chance please review.

The next couple of days passed rather uneventfully. Sarah went about her normal routine. She did notice that often as she went for her morning run or was out in the city meeting with vendors, or running errands that she was looking for a tall, well-dressed man with blonde hair and blue eyes. When she did not see him part of her felt a little let down.

Williams you are ridiculous she chided herself. You tell him that you don't want him to be super stalker, and when he does as you ask you're upset. Now I know what he means by being exhausted living up to your expectations. Right now he would have to have a split personality, or multiple personality disorder to live up to your expectations.

Shut up! She told her inner voice.

Wednesday morning Toby called and asked to meet her for lunch. Since Sarah had nothing pressing, she happily agreed especially since he would be flying back west in a couple of days. They decided to get pizza and then walk around Central Park. It was something they did as kids with their Dad and Karen. Sometimes Sarah's mom would meet them, if she was in town, and if she remembered. They laughed about those times like the sight of Karen eating her pizza with a knife and fork, and how happy they were that they remained close.

"So Sar," Toby began after they demolished most of the pizza. "I'm gonna take the transfer. It's a lateral move, but there is more opportunity here, and family is here. We are going to look for a house near Mom and Dad and I'll take the train in." He looked really happy.

"Oh Tobes," said a little too loudly using the nickname that she knew her brother hated. "That is awesome. It will be great having you, Mal, and the girls so close. I'm sure Dad and Karen are out of their minds knowing that their grandkids will be around more."

"So what's new with you?" Toby asked looking pointedly at her.

"Real subtle Toby," Sarah said. "Let's get out of here and I will let you know all about it, and him."

They crossed the street into the park, and started walking down the path. Sarah missed having her brother around. He was always the one person she could talk to.

"Well he came over to my loft for dinner. I made pasta and before you ask, no I did not poison him, accidental or otherwise. We ate and talked. Both of us admitted that we still had some feelings for the other, and we missed each other. And Yadda, Yadda, Yadda we decided to give dating a try." She said in a rush.

"Ok," Toby said carefully. "I think you skipped over some stuff with the yadda, yadda, yadda, but do you think it's a good idea. I mean getting involved with him and all the baggage again. I mean will you be traveling back and forth. Can you handle the double life? Did you sleep with him?"

"Toby!" Sarah exclaimed. "Who do you think I am?"

"Well the yadda, yadda, yadda was a giveaway that something happened. I was young when you two were together, but I was there. We all knew about the sleepovers. Mom and Dad were not thrilled, and Dad was loud about how he felt about it." Toby nudged his sister's shoulder.

"Well little brother, not that it is anyone's business, but no I did not sleep with him. I'm not going to lie the attraction is there, it probably always will be no matter what happens. The physical was never our problem. Almost everything else was." She sighed.

"Just so you know, we are going to try dating, it seems so weird that I am going to be dating my former fiancé, but that is where we are. We are having dinner tonight. After some negotiations it was agreed upon a weekly date of some sort. I insisted that I be able to call it off at any time, and we are doing this here only. I'm not going back to the Goblin Kingdom unless I know this is really going to work out." Sarah hugged herself as they walked. "I know I gave my word to give it…give us another chance, but I am already trying to self-sabotage it. He hurt me a lot Tobes. I just don't want it to happen again." Sarah confessed.

"You know if you keep doing that you're not giving it a real chance. Last time you were too young to get that serious about anyone, much less a royal who is magical. You're not too young anymore. Try it as you are now, as a grown up, I bet you will find it's a lot different." Toby reasoned.

"I didn't think you would be on his side Tobes." Sarah said thoughtfully.

"I'm not on his side. I'm on your side, I always have been always will be. I mean who listened to you talk about all your disasters you dated after Jareth. I was a ten year old shrink. You were never happy with anyone after him, you just needed to grow up before you played house." Toby told her. "I hope that it works out for you whatever that means. I love you sis."

"Love you too Tobes. And thanks." Sarah said considering what he said.

After her shower Sarah stood at her closet. Jareth never let her know where they were going. When they were together before they would go to the theater and the ballet. He would take her to some of the best and most expensive restaurants in the city, and all over the world. She shifted. That wasn't her anymore. Honestly it wasn't her then.

Sarah sighed and took out a silk wrap dress. The green color was one of her favorites went well with her features. The front plunged in the front with still being modest and age appropriate. The hem fell to her knees. Pairing it with a pair of strappy black sandals with a heel gave her the extra height she would need next to him. An emerald neckless and earrings completed the look. It would work for most places he would want to go, as long as it didn't need to be formal.

At seven-thirty there was a knock on the door. She opened it up to Jareth on her doorstep holding another red rose. She took it and smiled at him. He took her hand and kissed it.

"Hello Sarah," He greeted her. "Don't you look lovely tonight."

Sarah took him in. His hair was pulled back into a long tail. He was in a pair of black slacks and an button up shirt the top two buttons undone. He wore a leather trench since it was still rather cold. He finished it off with his ever present black leather boots. Her mouth went dry, he looked so good.

"Hi Jareth. So what do you have planned for tonight." She asked.

"Oh I thought that we would go to a little French place in the neighborhood. Not fancy but nice. Then we will see where the evening takes us." Jareth tried to sound casual, but he was nervous for the first time that he can remember in recent years. This was his chance to get back his love, and he didn't want to screw it up, scare her off, or push her.

"Let me grab my purse and coat." Taking them from their respective hooks, she turned and found Jareth with his hand out. He took the coat from her and helped her on with it, and turned and opened the door for her.

After locking up they walked down the two flights of stairs and through the front door. They garnered stares as they walked through the bar area and out the door. She knew they were being watched, but with her arm hooked though Jareth's she did not care. It felt too damn good. That should have scared her, but she didn't want to think about it, she just wanted to enjoy it.

He led her to a dark sedan, he opened the door and helped her into the passenger seat. The ride to the restaurant was short, and was taken in silence. Sarah watched the neighborhood slip by the window, every once in a while sneaking a look at the man next to her. This felt right, she missed this.

Jareth knew when she would look at him. He tried to appear unaware. There was no need to make her feel uncomfortable. His breath caught in throat when she opened the door. She was an impossibly lovely girl, but she had matured into an absolutely stunning woman.

He planned their date to be far removed from their lives before. He chose French which he knew she loved. The restaurant was much more casual than the upscale places that were their usual years before. He hoped that would show her that things can be different. That she was comfortable and had fun.

They parked and he got out. She waited for him to come around and opened her door, and help her out. They entered the restaurant, and he went to the hostess stand. He gave them his name for the reservation. They were seated and given menus.

"This is a nice place." Sarah told him. "I can't believe I've never been here."

"It is a hidden gem." Jareth answered. "I thought this might appeal to you. I know how you enjoy French food."

The waiter appeared at their table, along with a bottle of wine that he had ordered to be ready in advance. After approving the wine, and having it poured they ordered their dinner. Once they were alone again Jareth reached over and took her hand.

"Thank you for agreeing to see me Sarah." Jareth said rubbing her knuckles. "I have missed you. I did not realize how much until this week when I had you back in my life. Even the goblins have noticed, and those idiots don't notice anything more than their ale and chickens." Sarah giggled at the memory of some of the goblin antics.

"I missed you too, or I missed the idea of what I wanted us to have. I do want to give us a shot a real shot, but I am just scared and am trying to talk myself out of it. But I talked to Toby of all people, and he let me know that if I didn't stop we would never have a true shot. So I'm going to let go of our past, and really try to start over." Sarah squeezed his hand.

Jareth's heart soared. She was going to give him a true second chance. It was what he wanted more than anything. Now it was up to him not to screw it up like he did the last time. He smiled across the table at her. Their food came at that time, and their attention turned to their meal.

They spent the evening talking, getting to know each other as they are now. He told her about him delegating more and more of his business responsibilities to managers. The charities that he founded he stayed very much involved with. Those he still enjoyed.

He told her about changes in the Goblin Kingdom, and the Labyrinth. That Hoggle had become one of his advisors along with Sir Didymus. This surprised Sarah, especially since she knew how he felt about Hoggle. Jareth explained that keeping them close made him feel better, because of their connection to her.

Sarah told him about owning and running Sanctuary. How much she felt like home there. And how proud she was every month profits grew. She found that she really didn't crave the spotlight, that she liked running things from behind the scenes.

By the time dinner was over Sarah found that she was more comfortable with Jareth than she ever thought. Not that she was ready to jump back to where they were, but she knew she wanted to keep seeing him. She realized that now she was meeting him as an equal for the first time. Her age and inexperience always kept her beneath him in a lot of ways. It wasn't Jareth's fault and it wasn't her fault it just happened. And she found out that she could let that go and truly start over.

When dinner was over he drove her back to Sanctuary. Jareth walked her up the stairs to her loft. At the door she took out her keys and turned to him. "Would you like to come in for a drink?" She asked.

"I would love to Precious." Jareth answered. "He would do almost anything to continue the evening with her.

She unlocked the door and opened he had her enter first and turn on the lights, as he shut the door behind them. She took his jacket and removed hers and hung them both on the hooks by the door along with her purse.

"Make yourself comfortable." She called over her shoulder as she walked to the small bar set up in her living room. She made a couple of drinks, and turned on her stereo softly on her way back to Jareth who was sitting on the sofa. She handed him his glass.

"Whiskey, well Miss Williams are you trying to get me drunk?" He asked in a teasing voice.

"GK I remember how you can hold your liquor. It will take a lot more than that to get you drunk. I also remember what you like to drink to unwind in the Above." She replied.

Jareth was touched that she remembered so much of his tastes and tendencies. She sat on the sofa next to him with her wine. They chatted a little more as they drank and listened to the music. When a new song came on Jareth reached over and took her glass from her fingers. He placed both glasses on the coffee table, stood, and held his hand out to her.

"Dance with me Sarah." It seemed more of a command than a request. But it was one that she willing to follow. She placed her hand in his, and allowed him to pull her to her feet. With her heels they were much closer in height.

They came together as if no time had passed. Hands clasped, arms around each other. They began to move with the music. After a while he began to sing as they danced. Sarah sighed and laid her head on his shoulder, and Jareth pulled her closer to him.

Her hands trailed up his arms over his shoulders, and reaching up she freed his pony tail and dove her hands into his soft hair. She used his hair for leverage and pulled his head down to hers. Their lips met in a soft kiss. It was a slow sensual moving of lips upon each other. They stopped moving and just held each other for several minutes with their lips joined.

She moaned softly and that gave Jareth all the encouragement he needed to slide his tongue into her mouth. He tasted her slow and unhurried. He wanted to enjoy her taste. He wanted to enjoy having her in his arms.

Sarah felt his tongue slide against her own. It felt so good so right. He slid his hands around her waist and pulled her against him as he deepened the kiss. She broke the kiss to breath. Jareth took advantage and trailed kisses down her throat. With her moans and sighs urging him on Jareth backed her toward the sofa. He took her lips with his own again as they lowered themselves to the couch.

He gently pushed her down to lay her head on the arm of the sofa as he stretched over her. His felt his body harden instantly at the feel of Sarah underneath him. Not that he had been without companionship in the years they were apart, but no one caused his body to react like this, no one but Sarah.

While her hands still tangled in his hair, his were moving over her body. He moved them down over her face and neck to her shoulders. His lips followed his hand and placed kisses on the exposed skin of her chest afforded by the cut of her dress.

His fingers slid over her shoulders and started to move her dress over her shoulders and down her arms. As the dress slid down her arms, the front of the dress fell down to her waist exposing her chest. He looked up to see the black lace bra that covered her breasts.

Jareth looked up at her his blue eyes asking for permission to let him continue. He wanted to so badly, but if she told him to stop, he would with great difficulty, but he would. He promised himself he would not push her. But holding her, dancing with her, it was just too much. He had to touch her, to taste her, to love her.

Sarah bit her bottom lip between her teeth considering. Jareth almost lost it at that moment. Watching the pearly teeth nibble at her lip cause a groan to come from him. It seemed to come straight from his soul. Finally, she nodded her consent. Jareth leaned down and took the bitten lip with his own and nibbled on it himself.

His hand slid down to her lace covered breasts. He forgot how perfectly they fit his hands. He rubbed and squeezed them. Underneath him Sarah squirmed and moaned his name. The sounds she was make was music to Jareth' ears. He slid his thumbs over her nipples that were hard and begging to be released from their confinement.

Jareth bent his head down and captured one of the nipples and sucked on it through her bra. Sarah gripped his head and held him desperately to her breast. After giving attention to that breast he kissed his way across her chest to give the same consideration to its twin.

Sarah finally was able to remove her hands from his hair. She slid them down and began unbuttoning his shirt. He pulled his lips from her nipple to accommodate her undressing him. She pulled the shirt from his pants and slid it off of him and threw it to the ground. She felt his bare chest against hers and bent down to bit his shoulder, and Jareth growled in approval.

Jareth reached around and unhooked her bra. He removed it and threw it to the floor. The sight of her breasts for the first time in so long filled Jareth with the longing to strip her bare and see the rest of her. She always had a beautiful body, but she had now grown into her curves completely. He covered them with his hands rolling their nipples between his fingers.

Sarah squirmed and moved against him. As she did that he pushed his cock against her so she could feel his hardness against her. She moaned and she slid her hands lower. Slipping them inside the waistband of his pants and closing her hand around his hard cock.

"Damn woman. Your hands on me feel so damn good." Jareth moved his head down to start sucking on one nipple and then the other.

As he did this he slide her dress down over her hips and down her legs. She kicked her sandals off and brought her hands out of his pants long enough for him to finish taking off her dress. Sarah sat up and unbuttoned his pants.

She was lowering his pants when she felt Jareth go rigid, and she had a funny feeling that what she was doing was not the cause.

"Fuck my life." Jareth ground out. "That's it I'm abdicating effective immediately!"
