"Zzzzzzzz...zzzzzz...HUH!"said Jaune as he suddenly found himself thrown out of his bed.
"Wake up sleepy head...it's morning!"said Nora revealing herself to be the one who had pulled her leader out of his bed.
"Nora?! Why idd you do that?"asked Jaune as Pyrrah and Ren helped him up.
"If it makes you feel any better she did the same thing to both of us."said Ren who revealed himself to be wearing the male Beacon school uniform.
Jaune also noticed that Pyrrah and Nora were wearing the Beacon female uniform.
"I'll just going to the bathroom and change."said Jaune as he pulled out the uniform clothes that was neatly on his desk and walked into the bathroom.
A few minutes later he walked out of the bathroom completely dressed in the school uniform although he still kept his fingerless gloves.
"Wow you change really fast Jaune."said Nora who was honestly impressed.
"When you live with seven sisters who are particularly nosy and consider you their play toy you make it a habit to change quickly when you have a chance."said Jaune who shivered at the thought all the times his sisters use him as a plaything.
He could still recall the time they dressed him up like a girl...he was lucky to have already planned for that by having boys clothes in his backpack by the time his parents sent him to school...
"Anyway do any of you get the feeling that something is not right... or more specifically that we're forgetting something..."said Jaune as the rest of team JNPR began thinking the same thing.
Suddenly they heard a large stud so they opened their dorm room door to reveal team RWBY running down the hall.
"We are going to be late for class!"said Ruby as she and the rest of her team ran as fast as they could.
"Class...oh shoot!"said Jaune as he realized that class starts in a few minutes.
Without wasting a single precious second team JNPR began chasing team RWBY and soon the two groups merged as they did not want to be late for their first day of school..
They were so busy running they did not notice Headmaster Ozpin and Professor Goodwitch were watching them from afar as they happen to pass by them in the outdoor court.

A short while later after barely arriving into the classroom just as the bell rang Jaune and his team we're sitting behind Ruby and her team in Professor Port's class.
The man gave a short speech about the importance of class and Grimm until he started rambling on about his own accomplishments as a professional Grimm hunter.
'This guy is really full of himself...I mean he even hanged his weapon high on a mantle in the classroom so that everyone could see it...I want to listen but I highly doubt this is even something important as it just sounds like he's gloating about himself.' thought Jaune who noticed that he wasn't the only one having a hard time paying attention.
Nora had already fallen asleep and Ren was too busy trying to wake her up.
Even the diligent Pyrrah was having a hard time paying attention as for the first time since he met her she had a board expression of her face as even she even found her professors ramblings to be boring.
Jaune decided to pay attention to something else so he looked at team RWBY see what they were doing.
Ruby appear to be entertaining herself by drawing a hilarious photo of the professor and while Yang and Blake found it funny it was clear as day Weiss wasn't as amused.
Ruby then began to fall asleep a little, balancing a bunch of stuff on her finger, and even resorted to picking her nose.
Weiss on the other hand looks like she was getting more and more annoyed with each passing second.
Jaune could clearly guess what this was all about.
'Oh great miss stuck up princess is all angry cuz she wasn't picked as team leader. Get over yourself Ruby may be childish but she certainly holds her own when the time counts!' thought Jaune who wondered how Weiss came to be so spoiled.
Sure she was pretty and beautiful but she had an extremely poor attitude and it didn't help that she was literally ice cold.
'From now on I'm going to call her the Ice Queen!' thought Jaune who figured it was the perfect nickname for Weiss.
"The moral of the story."said professor Port as Jaune figured he finally stopped his rambling so he decided to listen.
"A true Huntsman must be honorable. A true Huntsman must be dependable. A true Huntsman must be strategic, well educated, and wise. So who among you believes himself to be the embodiment of these traits?"asked Professor Port as Weiss quickly raised her hand as soon as he finished speaking.
"I do sir!"said Weiss with a particularly annoyed expression on her face.
"Well then let's find out, step forward and face your opponent."said Professor Port as he waved his hand out of cage that clearly had some kind of Grimm inside based on the red eyes.
Weiss excuse their self as she went to the locker room to change and to grab her weapon.
"Well this should be interesting..."said Jaune who had a feeling something was going to go wrong.

A few minutes later Weiss came back in her combat attire wielding her rapier Myrtenaster.
"Go Weiss!"cheered Yang.
"Fight well!"said Blake who was waving a flag with with her team name that she had on her person for some reason.
"Yeah represent team RWBY!"said Ruby trying to give her support.
"Ruby I'm trying to focus!"scolded Weiss who for some reason only retorted Ruby.
Jaune on the other hand had a pretty good idea why Weiss was acting like this.
"Oh um... sorry."apologize Ruby.
"Alright let the match begin!"exclaimed professor Port as he used the ex part of his weapon to cut the lock letting out the Grimm that was in the cage.
The Grimm in question being a Boarbatusks.
The Grimm quickly charged that Weiss who did a quick slash with her rapier but it appeared to do little damage.
'What is she doing rapier's specialize in thrusting attacks although they're good for slashing they're nowhere near as good as a saber or a katana.' thought Jaune wondering why Weiss didn't go for the eyes first to incapacitate the Grimm.
"You weren't expecting that were you."said Port.
"Hang in there Weiss."said Ruby trying to give her friend support.
Weiss and the Boarbatusks meanwhile charge that one another and Weiss tried to go for a thrusting attack but found her weapon caught in the Grimm's tusks.
"Oh a new approach...I like it."said Professor Port.
"Come on Weiss show it who's boss!"said Ruby.
Weiss turn to her team leader with annoyance which gave the grim a chance to disarm her causing her weapon to fly to the other side of the room.
The Boarbatusks then hit Weiss knocking her to the ground.
"Oh ho what will you do now without your weapon?"asked professor Port as Weiss was getting up from the ground.
The Boarbatusks went for a tackle but Weiss got out of the way causing the Grimm to hit a wall knocking it off its feet as Weiss went for Myrtenaster.
"Weiss go for its belly there's no armor underneath."advised Ruby as Weiss retrieved her weapon.
"Stop telling me what to do!"yelled Weiss causing a sad look to appear on Ruby's face.
Jaune on the other hand was getting pretty annoyed with her attitude as he inadvertently covered his hand in armament Haki as he was clenching is that's tightly causing it to shatter with his powerful grip strength as a vein appeared on his forehead.
As for the Boarbatusks, it began it's spinning attack as it charge towards Weiss at full speed.
Weiss on the other hand used her semblance to make a makeshift shield stopping the grim in its tracks knocking it to the ground exposing its belly.
Weiss then jumped in the air and with a powerful leap combined with her semblance she stabbed the Boarbatusks and it's belly effectively killing it.
Weiss was panting as the professor was congratulating her on her victory.
"It appears we are indeed in the presence of a true huntress in training. I afraid that's all the time we have for today. Be sure to cover the assigned reading and remember stay vigilant."
"Class dismissed."said Professor Port as Weiss walked off.
Jaune noticed Ruby go after Weiss and was about to follow her until h he inadvertently drop something.
"Oh come on!"said Jaune as that something fell into a narrow crevice underneath the desk causing him to struggle as he bent down to try to reach the item.
He struggled for a few minutes before pulling out the item in question which was revealed to be a pencil.
"Note to self buy more pencils that way you don't have to worry about every single one you lose."said Jaune who put his pencil into his suit pocket before going after Ruby.
A few minutes later he found Ruby in the hallway and it was clear as day that she was clearly upset.
"Ruby what happened?"asked Jaune as he walked towards her to see if she was okay.
"Weiss said that Professor Ozpin made a mistake in that she should have been team leader and how I'm nothing but a nuisance."said Ruby who was clearly hurt by Weiss's words.
"Oh that is it! I have had enough of her attitude! Ruby you are a great team leader and yeah you may be childish and reckless but it's only the first day. You have a chance to grow as every single one of us in this school as we still have four years to figure out who we are. I'll talk to Weiss you go back to your sister and Blake and try to feel better."said Jaune as he patted Ruby on the head.
"..Thanks Jaune I really needed to hear that."said Ruby who gave him a hug before walking off.
"Now I have had about enough of you Ice Queen!"said Jaune as he stormed off to try to find Weiss.

Weiss was looking around on the balcony watching the sunset when she felt a strong hand grab her shoulder. Before she could react she was pulled back to Jaune.
"I finally found you!"
"What do you-"
"SHUT IT!"Yelled Jaune causing Weiss to become quiet.
"Do you want to explain to me why you been giving Ruby a hard time and have been doing nothing but having the spoiled attitude of an immature brat!"said Jaune in a calm but menacing voice.
"...I think I should have been the leader of team RWBY!"said Weiss trying to justify her actions as honestly she was a little intimidated by Jaune.
"Oh and why do you believe that!"asked Jaune with clear sarcasm in his voice.
"Didn't you see how exceptional I was!"said Weiss in her defense.
"Not listening to good advice, losing your weapon in the middle of a fight, and being a poor sport! That is what you call exceptional?!"
"Hey!"
"Now you listen and you listen good!"said Jaune.
"I don't have to take this from you!"said Weiss and in Jaune threw her to a nearby bench with incredible strength.
Weiss was about the counter until she realized she no longer had her weapon.
"Looking for this!"said Jaune revealing himself to be holding Myrtenaster.
Weiss was about to say something until Jaune gave her a glare causing her to shut up.
"You get this back after you get your scolding! Now Ruby may be immature and reckless but you ain't exactly any more mature than she is."said Jaune who took a deep breath before continuing.
"Hey!"
"SHUT UP!... All you have done is act like a spoiled brat who thinks she knows everything ever since she got here! Ruby may be an immature child but you're no better! On what planet did you think this attitude of yours was going to make those in power change their decision?!
Weiss didn't respond and she honestly did not have an answer.
"Weiss you're strong and gifted but it's clear that you're someone who's gone everything she's asked for most of her life."
"That isn't even remotely true."said Weiss in her defense causing Jaune to raise an eyebrow.
"Well... not entirely true."said Weiss.
"Good now you're listening. Weiss it's only been the first day and we still have four long years to discover ourselves. Ruby proved herself the other day with the Nevermore by clearly showing good judgment and skill on the battlefield. Don't forget that before we are Huntsman we are students and we deserve to enjoy our school life."said Jaune as he lifted Weiss.
"Now I think you owe Ruby an and you seriously need to think about your actions from here on out. Because the next time you act like such a brat that makes Ruby cry... well let's just say you'll wish Yang got you first. Do I make myself clear!"said Jaune in a calm but menacing voice.
Weiss didn't say anything but she knew well enough that she wouldn't stand a chance against Jaune in a fight.
"Why...why do you protect Ruby so much?"asked Weiss as she held her head down.
"She reminds me of someone I vow to take care of. I have a feeling Ruby is going to be a great huntress one day and plus when you grow up with seven sisters you can become a little protective of someone who reminds you of them."said Jaune.
"Can I have Myrtenaster back?"asked Weiss.
"As long as you understand that you need to hear tough love every now and again princess."said Jaune as he handed Weiss back her weapon and walked off.
"Who does he think he is scolding me like that... although I guess that means he does care since father never even bothered to scold me even when I purposely did something wrong..."said Weiss who remembered her grandfather telling her that someone who does not scold you when you do something wrong does not love you.
She would never admit it but she gained new found respect for Jaune for having the nerve to talk to her like that as not many people did.
Unknown to Weiss Jaune followed her back to the dorm rooms and overheard her apologize to Ruby, causing the two teammates to make up.
"Heh... looks like things worked out for themselves in the end with a little help."said Jaune as he walked into his dorm room to get some sleep as it had been a long day.
