Seth Lord Kisara: Thanks. Yeah, going through something like that will put just about anyone in a dark place and sometimes it results in crossing lines that you may never return from. Yeah…I have no excuse for that one. I don't know what happened there.

OechserC: Thanks. Always good to have some kind of safety net when you need one. Keep reading.

Xerzo LotCN: Yeah, true, but I want to try something different. He left the note on his bed and yes, they're aware of it and it will be addressed…mostly in this chapter. Part of me actually wanted to add that for shits and giggles too but decided to back out at the last second…kind of regret it now. Keep reading.

Enjoy the next chapter.

Jazz frowned as she slowly entered her brother's room and looked at the bed, consisting of the opened gun safe and Danny's phone, "Little brother," she sighed as she stepped towards the bed before she sat down and hung her head, "What drove you to run away like this? It couldn't be our parents wanting to tear you apart molecule by molecule. They've been wanting to do that since the beginning, and why would you take one of dad's guns?" taking a deep breath, she laid back and turned on her side.

Spotting a slip of paper poking out from under the pillow, Jazz hummed to herself and sat up before picking it up and looked it over. Her eyes widened and her face went pale before it turned red with anger as she stood up and stomped out of the room, "Mom, dad, I'd like to talk to you two!" hearing footsteps race up the stairs, the young woman crossed her arms as her parents walked down the hall.

Standing in front of their oldest child, they panted as Maddie shook her head, "What's wrong, Jazz?"

"Does it involve ghosts?" Jack questioned.

"No, it involves Danny and why he ran away," the two adults looked at each other in confusion before Jazz held out the paper and they looked at it before their eyes widened, "An abortion! Do you know how Danny must feel now? He's out there, who knows where and it's because you two wanted to-"

"That's enough, Jasmine Fenton!" her mother scolded, trying to snatch the note away from her daughter, only to have Jazz step back with narrowed eyes, "What happened is in the past! Yes, we would've loved to have a bigger family, but we all can't get what we want, now can we! I was angry when I wrote that to your grandmother an-"

"People speak the truth when they're angry, and being ghost hunters doesn't exclude you two," Jazz spoke with venom in her voice as she shook her head, "Now I get it…I get it…I understand why Danny either tried to compete with me, tried to show interest in his hobbies and yours and…you cared more about your own life than you did Danny's. You know children aren't asked to be born into this world, it just happens,"

"Jazzy pants you have to understand that-"

"No, you have to understand," the two flinched at the tone in Jazz's voice, "You two are the parents, you're supposed to put your kids before your own needs and wants, but you two went and blamed Danny for something that no one can control…he must've seen this and thought…what the hell am I staying here for? They don't care for me," the air between the three grew still as Maddie and Jack glared at their daughter, "Would you care if Danny had committed suicide to give you what you wanted? Or would you go about your day like usual? Looking for ghosts and pretending that Dany never existed?"

"Now listen here, Ja-" before Maddie could finish, Jazz folded up the note and slipped it in her bra, "What…what are you doing, young lady?"

"I'll hold on to this," she turned her back on her parents and began walking away, "Find Danny by the end of the week and I'll pretend I didn't see this disgusting note…if you don't find him by then…I'll show the whole world why Danny actually ran away from home and you two will be the most hated people in all of Amity," she continued to walk down the hall to her room.

The Fenton parents looked each other, and Maddie narrowed her eyes, "Jack, I thought you took the note off the bed,"

"I thought you took it," Jack hissed, "And now Jazz seen it and she's going to force us to find him,"

"Or be Pariahs for the rest of our lives," Maddie took a deep breath and shook her head, "Our daughter is smart…perhaps too smart for her own good and we know we can't just sneak into her room and take the note. She probably has copies as we speak,"

The two looked down at the hall as Maddie sighed and crossed her arms, "We might as well go and start to look for him before anything else can happen…hopefully we can convince Danny that the letter meant nothing, and it was a joke…but we have to be subtle about the whole situation. If he has one of your guns and we take another and draw it on him…we might as well pack our bags and leave the country because nowhere will want us after that," Jack hummed and nodded in agreement before the two of them turned and walked back down the steps.

I know this chapter is on the short side, but it wasn't meant to by long, just Jazz confronting her parents about this. Enjoy.
