Chapter 7

Warning... M...

In the three weeks since Jay and Hayley had talked, they had taken things slow, so slow that Jay was beginning to wonder if they had even had the talk at all. The unit had finished a big case and were meeting at Molly's, nobody had driven and all were just ready for a good time. Ally was staying with Natalie's Nanny. Hayley and Kim were talking in the locker room.

"So how are you and Jay doing?" Kim asked.

"He's an amazing partner Kim. I'm so lucky to have found a unit like this one.." Kim had stood with her hand on Hayley's locker door. Her left eyebrow raised. "What?"

"You two need your heads banging together. Just take him home tonight and get it over and done with! You're making me frustrated watching you. Poor Adam doesn't know what's hit him."

"What are you on about?" asked Hayley.

"Listen you and Jay, we see it. We all sit in that office together and the tension between you two is… it's like a kettle about to blow. Just do him already."

Hayley and Kim took a seat on the bench opposite each other.

"We talked Jay and I. And we said we would take it slow and we are, but."

"But!?"

"I feel like we have stopped. Like he's changed his mind, which I totally get. Who's going to want a single mom who's busy with work and spends time at home with her kid when she can. Look I'm going out tonight, going to have a drink and relax, just let's go and catch up with the others."

"Hey, come here, it's his loss OK. You are amazing and I'm so glad you are on this team and Ally as an honorary niece." They hugged and went out the door.

Jay had been sat with Will and Natalie most of the night. Hayley, Kim and Vanessa sat with Dawson and Stella. The pair of detectives had positioned themselves so they were in each other sights. They kept catching each other looking at the other. Hayley being caught by the group of women she was with which meant a lot of giggling and poking of fun at her expense. Hayley's round came she made her way to the bar ordered a round and left to use the rest room. The restroom was round the corner tucked away from the rest of the bar. When Hayley came out, she saw a pair of black shoes, her eyes scanned up the denim clad legs, to the crotch she had caught herself staring at a few times, she had envisioned herself slowly un buckling the belt around his waist. Her tongue darting out to wet her top lip, drawing a breath in through her nose, her eyes travelled the rest of the way up his torso, heat pooling in her stomach as she saw his lips, his lopsided kickshaw boyish grin, his eyes like the sky twinkled with the fairy lights hung from the ceiling.

"Hey!" Jay said as Hayley stepped forward.

"Hey!" she replied as their eyes met, both smiled shyly, Hayley lent back against the wall behind her hands behind her back, taking her bottom lip between her teeth. Jay was in front of her in a second his left hand on her cheek his right on her hip, his mouth attached to hers slowly kissing her, asking permission with his eyes to continue. She replied by removing her hands from behind her and placing them round Jay's neck, meeting at the back and pulling him towards her. The kiss becoming hot and steamy, a cough from beside them made them both stop and step apart.

"Hayley, err sorry but you round is on the bar but the Nanny called, Ally is OK she is just asking to speak to you before bed. Sorry!" Will was mortified. As Hayley walked past him giving Jay the side eye, Jay and Will looked at each other and Jay smiled at Will.

"Finally, you two need to hurry it along bro, your looks across the room are going to set the place on fire" he ducked as Jay pretend punched him. Both laughing they went back into the bar. The groups had mingled together through the night Hayley taking Jay's seat when she returned from the call.

Jay stood behind her talking to Kevin, his foot resting on Hayley's stool support. She wasn't drunk but was merry, Kim and Natalie decided to go to the bar, Jay taking a stool next to Hayley. His thigh touching hers as they all managed to squish into the space around the table. Jay placing his head on her knee when he could, without being noticed.

By midnight the group had started to get less and less and Hayley decided she was going home. In a way only they could they had told each other that Jay would meet her at her place. Kim and Adam taking her in their uber.

Hayley opened the door to her house, silence surrounded her. Shutting the door, she turned on some lights and waited for Jay. A small tap on the door made butterflies come to life in her belly, opening the door she stood aside and let him in. Taking off his shoes he followed her to the kitchen. Taking two beers from the fridge Hayley turned to find him behind her and in one quick motion he had backed her up against the fridge, the contents of the door rattling in protest. Their kissing started as soft pecks that sped up as they realized this is definitely happening, both also begging the gods that there would be no disruptions.

Jay walked her to the bedroom and looked at her making sure this was what she wanted. It wouldn't be the first time tonight but he just wanted to make sure that it was what she wanted. She responded by placing her hands at the hem of his t-shirt, bunching it up as she lifted it up his body. Turning them round she sat him on the bed, making her taller than him, his hands trailed down her sides making her shiver. Her top following his as their lips joined in a long kiss she put her knees either side of him and sat on his lap his lips leaving hers as he went down her chin to her neck, Hayley pulling herself closer to his mouth.

"Jay!" she panted and his mouth found a sensitive spot beneath her ear. He concentrated on this spot as her head went back, his mouth took a trail around to the opposite side, her hips moved against his growing member. Jay decided now was the time to place both his hands on her shoulders, his hands going under her arms and around from the back. His mouth moving down her throat towards her chest. His used his hands to pull her backwards, he used his teeth to release her left breast form the lacy material. Open mouthed kisses down to her pebbled nipple saw a gasp escape from the blonde. Jay moving across her chest as he repeated the move. His warm tongue sweeping across the now exposed nipple.

Hayley was away in heaven Jay knew what she wanted him to do. Standing Jay turned and set Hayley on the bed, unclasping her bra throwing it across the room. Joining their lips for a kiss Hayley's hands found their way to that belt. The slow movement of her hands with the noise of metal and shuffle of the leather as she undid it, the pop of the button on his jeans and the metal zip adding to the tension. Grabbing her wrists and putting them above Hayley's head Jay began his second descent down her neck, paying detail to each nipple in turn, down her stomach to the waistband of her jeans. Popping the button and pulling the jeans down her legs revealed black lacy panties, the jeans on the floor Jay made his way to the apex of her legs. The scent of her arousal, had Jay harder than he ever thought possible. His jeans were pushed down, and he lay next to her as he kissed her again. His hands dipping into her panties finding her swollen bud. A gasp and she was begging him for more.

"Jay, I need you now! Please!" She begged.

Before they knew it they were both completely naked and ready. It was a relaxed and steady, nothing rushed.

Hayley stomach was as hot as fire, one touch from Jay had her melting into her bed. Jay had his tip at her entrance. As he pushed in slowly, Hayley arched her back, he was stretching her out. She kept her breath steady, the heat building and pulsing through her veins she was taking breaths to stop herself from falling over the edge to soon.

"Let go for me!" Jay whispered into her ear.

Hayley couldn't take anymore, her orgasm took over, shaking her to her core, her head thrown back mouth wide open, eyes tight shut as stars exploded. Jay took his time as Hayley finished. He was in awe of her, her skin flushed, their eyes met as she had come down from her high. Kissing her lips, they carried on Jay careful not to hurt her as he started pushing himself in to her again. Hayley grasping at Jay wherever she could. Slowly they made love, as her orgasm built again Jay's name falling from her lips as the heat ran through her veins once more. Jay was beginning to feel his own orgasm build. The feeling of her hands in his hair. Her thighs around his waist, her vanilla scent mixed with her arousal and the smell of their sweat made him feel like he was home. Like he was going to be here forever. He never wanted to leave. He was home, Hayley whispering his name as she started to fall apart again. This time they fell over the edge together. Jay falling to the side of Hayley as they both lay panting, getting their breath to a normal pace. Hayley turned towards Jay he lifted his arms she hugged herself closer to his side. Slowly they fell asleep in each other's arms. Waking in a few hours to make love again. By 9am they were both on the sofa, making love again. It started with coffee and toast ending in bliss. They lay on the sofa a blanket over hayley back as she lay half on Jay half on the sofa.

"Jay, I, we," she bit the inside of her lip, "where do we go from here, I really want to be with you. I need to put Ally first though. I don't want her getting used to you and then things going sour between us and her getting hurt. Jay I am so in love with you and I know we have literally just got together and maybe I need to rewind and stop, but I" Jay shifted so they were both on their sides on the sofa. Both at eye level with the other.

"I'm all in Hayley, I saw you in that club and you had me. Hook line and sinker. I want to spend forever with you and it may be to soon, but I don't care, I want you and Ally and a dog and at least three more kids." They both laughed at his idea.

"Three? Really? Well, how about we have one more first, just you know, see how things go? Then slowly add more as we go?" looking into Jay's eyes again the desire and love she saw made her body ache, taking a deep breath she lent forward and kissed him, a slow kiss that was filled with all the love she could muster. Before they knew it it was time to leave for Ally. As they showered and dressed for the day, Jay and Hayley talked about what they were doing the rest of today. Praying they didn't get a case, Hayley wanted fall right back into bed with Jay tonight.

Ally was sitting in the window at the nanny's house waiting for Hayley. As she saw her car pull up she ran to the door and waited for her Mom to knock. When the knock came and the nanny opened it her smile went wider as she saw Jay stood there, running past Hayley and into Jay's arms.

"Hi mom!" Hayley sarcastically said laughing at the girl in Jay's arms.
