Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Cybernetic Companions. Enjoy the 1200-word chapter. I don't own Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto and a few others do.

Genki hummed and looked at Delta who barely looked at anything else but him. He endured the woman's burrowing smirk if only with the knowledge he'd be taking her down sooner or later.

"Yes, Lady Delta?" Genki almost spat out with venom. "Do you require something?"

Genki almost wanted to break a wall apart at the moment. He knew very well the woman just wanted an excuse to lord her small amount of power over someone. He had heard that the woman was weaker than the lord of Kara.

Which meant in his mind Delta was just acting out some inane power fantasy. Delta wasn't the strongest in the food chain, which meant she had to prey on something that couldn't fight back… That wouldn't prey on anything that could.

"Nothing." Delta said, her voice dripping with so much condescending compassing that Genki almost lost his temper.

He wanted nothing more than to kill her, but he knew very well that Delta was currently beyond his ability to combat. He knew very well that she could kill him.

"They asked for you, you know." Genki said with as much restraint as was allowed. "Wanted you to know that there's going to be need of your skills." Genki said and crossed his arms while looking at the woman.

Her smirk remained. Genki was almost tempted to see if he could wipe it from her contemptable face… But stopped himself at the last moment.

"And?" Delta asked while looking at her nails. Genki smirked, knowing that his next words would erase that smirk.

"And I heard Code wanted me to refrain from telling you." Genki said, only the edges of his lips curling into a faint smile.

Delta's eyes narrowed in rage as she started to smash her feet into the ground, cratering it over and over. Genki watched silently as his 'mistresses'' had the shinobi equivalent of a temper tandem.

"Who the hell… I'll have his HEAD…" Delta hissed as she turned and walked away and out of the room. "I'll return soon." Delta said with fury painting her voice.

"I wouldn't call that a smart move." Genki heard over his shoulder. "She will return furious." Koji stated as he moved from the shadows.

This Genki knew well, but the small act of vengeance was something that he savored… Plus he knew Delta wouldn't take it out on him. That meant hurting her only minion that she had. Delta was many things, but from the way Genki saw her carry herself? She was not stupid enough to hurt someone who she could use.

"Trust me, if she wanted me dead?" Genki questioned with a raised eyebrow. "Then she'd kill me before. She'll yell, but she won't take it out on me… Doing that means destroying her only source of entertainment at the moment. Besides, she's not going to abuse someone who the master is curious about." Genki added which got a raised eyebrow from Koji said nothing, more curious about what came next.

Genki didn't pry into what Koji was doing, he heard from the Kara doctor that the man was very important to some plan… What said plan was? Genki didn't know, but he did assume that it had to be larger than even the leader of Kara knew.

"And when she doesn't?" Koji asked only to get a shrug from Genki which caused him to chuckle.

"I doubt it… And even if it did anytime soon?" Genki questioned with a raised eyebrow. "Then it's far better than THIS… I'd rather take dying sometime soon over being the servant of someone who doesn't have power… Or sees it purely as a gift she thinks she's owed rather than given to begin with." Genki added and went back to thinking about his next move.

Delta's screams echoed through the base which made Genki chuckle. He could hear shouting which didn't take a cyborg to catch. She was angry, she was far angrier then he thought she'd be and it amused him to NO end that he got the upper hand at something.

Even if it would cost him sooner or later… And Genki could allow it that. There wasn't much he felt like being around for at the moment.

"There's going to be plenty of interesting battles coming up sooner or later." Genki said while he cracked his knuckles at the moment and then hummed.

Koji said nothing at the moment, knowing for a fact that something would change sooner or later. He left Genki to his own devices, if the man needed to be eliminated? Then he could be.

The screams of Delta allowed Genki to chuckle at the moment while he crossed his legs under him. Delta passed by the room, smashing a hole in the wall which Genki hummed with amusement.

"I wonder how long it will take her to calm down." Genki said while he cracked his neck.

His arms hurt, but he heard from that doctor that he wasn't human anymore. The man had created something that was far beyond flesh and bone. Genki didn't know if he should be terrified for whatever monster encountered them… Or curious if he could get something more from this at the moment.

"Hmm… This is going to be a very interesting week, isn't it?" Genki questioned while he turned to the side.

Delta charged into the room. Looking at Genki with venom that could melt his face into bile if she could.

"YOU LIED!" Delta roared while kicking at Genki who flipped backwards.

"I didn't know," Genki said, a smile pulling at his lips. "How am I, a lowly servant of Kara supposed to know what they desire?" Genki asked while Delta tore her foot from the ground, gritting her teeth.

She said nothing as she turned and left the room, angered that her servant had made a fool of her. Genki simply went back to waiting for what would happen next.

He looked at the crater she had left in the ground. Delta was powerful, but she was far easier to annoy then he thought. That was a weakness he could hopefully exploit. He cracked a smile and turned to travel to his headquarters. There was going to be a very interesting interaction next time he saw Delta.

If she was going to fight him sooner or later? Then he'd hope to survive it so he could enjoy it.

Genki couldn't wait to see what happened next. Kara was an interesting group to be in…. Even if he wanted to tear them to the ground.

He turned the corner, avoiding a massive brick that was thrown at his head with amusement.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that Genki isn't going to be fighting anyone major yet. Next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will show training and Genki trying to find weaknesses and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!

P.S: Delta is 1200 or so words. Tsunade 1500, Karin 1200 words. Sakura and Sarada 900 words and Ino 1200 words currently at the moment.
