Chapter 7

The following morning the pair were enjoying each other's company before having to get up for breakfast. Rory watched as Logan got out of bed and went to the bathroom. He had the ability to make her feel like she was floating and her hormones were multiplying this times ten. They finally got up and and ready to meet Rorys Mom around 11 it was really brunch by then but the didn't care.

Before making their way to the diner they went and saw Sookie in the kitchen as Rory wanted chocolate very desperately.

"Hello Sookie do you have any chocolate?" Logan asked

"Umm" she wasn't sure what to think by this "Yes over there" she said pointing to a jug of chocolate

"Thanks Sookie!" Rory instantly responded before grabbing some

"No problem" by now Sookie was very confused what was Logan doing here and why were the together? However she figure they'd tell her when they were ready or here Mom would let it slip.

"Bye Sookie" They said at the same time snapping her out of her thoughts

"Bye?..." This morning just got very confusing

When they were on their way over to the diner the pair were quietly chatting

"Logan tonight's a town meeting do we tell them then or wait until we move here?"

"That depends if you think it's too early Ace we could just tell them we are back together"

"That might be a good idea, make people less confused"

"Okay so we will tell them tonight by the way the Boys really want to meet up very soon"

"Aww maybe we tell them?" Rory said

"I think we should seeing as it's the boys"

After that the conversation stopped and they just walked hand in hand till they reached the diner. When entering Rory made him order as she made her way to the table her mother was at

"2 Coffees and Pancakes for Rory please"

"Coming right up" Indeed they were all ready in 5 mins.

Logan turned around to find Rory sitting with her mom and went over to join them

"It's coming Ace" Logan said sitting down

"Thank you! Mom, we were talking and have decided to tell everyone we are back together but not about the baby"

"Babies" Logan quickly interrupted

"Babies...that still feels weird to say! Anyway tonight at the town meeting we will tell everyone so that we don't have to explain it as much but we are going to wait before telling them about the babies"

"At least that way I can properly kiss you in public!" Logan said he was very happy by these prospects

"We were thinking to tell them when we move back by then I would be showing seeing as it is twins"

Lorelai was soo happy for them "That sounds like a good plan you've got there"

After that the conversation ended and they enjoyed a very nice brunch. Then Lorelai had to go to work so it was just the two of them. They spent the day together Rory showed Logan things that had changed since he was there last till it was time to go to the meeting. When they walked in Logan went to Taylor to tell him he and Rory had news they wanted to announce before sitting down. Mom and Luke walked in and joined them Luke was carrying bags of food

"Food?" Rory asked

"Duh" Lorelai said like it was obvious

"Your eating habits never ceases the amaze me Ace"

"I still don't get it either" Luke said memorised by the two ladies currently stuffing their faces

"By the way did you tell him?"

"Yes Ace though I said at the end of the meeting"

"Ahh that sounds good" she started laughing when Taylor caught her eye he had a very weird look on his face. All the others quickly followed suit. The main meeting went as normal Taylor being Taylor, Lorelai and Rory stuffing their faces then it was time to tell people

"Before the end of this meeting Logan and Rory have something they would like to say" Taylor stepped to the side as everyone turned to look at them

"Come on Ace" Logan said getting up and going to the front Rory followed

"People we have news" the couple declared holding hands

"You probably remember Logan from back when I was at Yale and the fact that it ended but we stand before you tonight to say we go back together" Rory said with one of the biggest smiles on her face her Mom thought she'd ever seen.

The room was dead silent before cheers erupted out they were very thankful tonight was one of them nights where basically everyone in town was attending.

"Yay! Rory" said Patty

"What the?" said Sookie she was not expecting that

Well you get the idea everyone was very happy for them and were congratulations where being given from everyone. Sookie was talking to Lorelai

"So that why they came into the kitchen this morning" she was glad to finally get some answers

"Why were they in the kitchen?"

"Logan asked if I had any chocolate, Rory stuffed her face in the chocolate" a very odd look suddenly appeared

"Well she's my kid" Lorelai said clearly pleased

"Is she? Are they?" Sookie was starting to piece it together

"Hang on" Lorelai said and went to find the pair

"Will your please tell Sookie I think she's figured it out!"

"Opps let's go Ace!" Logan replied

"Sookie!" Rory waved her over and they left

They walked home before talking about it

"So... Are you?" Sookie was getting even more confused

"Look, on the fridge!" everyone said - Rory, Logan, Lorelai and Luke

"Okay calm down!" Sookie said as she went over to the fridge where she saw the sonogram that Lorelai had re-put up.

"No way!" Seeing as she had three children of her own she knew what she was looking at. It was a sonogram but there was 2 blobs not one "It's twins?"

"Yes!" Logan and Rory said extremely happy

"Aww" Sookie ran over to give them both a hug "how far?"

"Roughly 4 weeks" Rory said smiling having on last night before ending things had its perks

"Wow!.." was all Sookie could say

"Just don't tell anyone you know you can only talk to Me, Logan, Mom or Luke about the babies. We want to tell them a bit later on" Rory quickly added to not ruin the surprise.

"Okay I can't believe it. Is that why you guys asked for chocolate this morning?"

"Yes" Logan was really happy at that point "Ace we should be thinking about bed"

"Mmmm..." it was clear she was tired with that response "Dinner first though"

"Ahh yes it time for Luke's burgers now?"

"I'm shocked you feel the need to ask!"

"Have you not made them yet? You were practically begging over the phone!"

"Oh yes we've made them" Logan said

"I want burger please"

"Ace go sit down for a bit before dinner you need rest" He figured the twins would make her even more tired than a baby

"Mmm can't move too sleepy"

With this Logan picked up Rory and carried her over the couch before helping Luke make burgers for dinner. Lorelai and Rory watched tv Sookie joined them for a little bit before she had to get back. After dinner They were too tired to head back to the dragonfly instead opting to stay over in Rorys old bedroom. Logan made up the trundle bed before getting ready for bed.

"They seem to get along very well" Luke had noticed

"They really do" Lorelai agreed "When she phones me I can almost feel her joy! It's so clear they love each other I just wish they hadn't wasted this much time"

"Like us?" Luke asked

"Yes like us"

With that everyone headed off to bed falling asleep very quickly
