Chapter 6: The Forbidden West Wing
As Serena and her friends have their tour, Goku returns to outside her bedroom's door. He felt bad about the way he acted and decides to try once again to make amends.
Goku: OK, Goku. Let's do this again. And this time, try not to freak out if she refuses.
He then knocks on the door. To his surprise, no one answers. He tried again. Still no answer. Goku sighs sadly, as he makes his way back to the West Wing.
Goku: Man, what a jerk I was.
Serena and the Tiny Toons looked around, as the Pokemon, Digimon, Ham-Hams, and Keronians gave them a tour. Pikachu and Skitty joins along, as well. Boss is explaining about the rooms and what they're for. The servants followed behind, not bothering to listen, since they heard the stories so many times before. When they reached a hall of armors, the group didn't realized that some of them has just subtracted.
Boss: And plus...
He turns to speak to Serena's group, but to his surprise, they are gone.
Boss: Hey, where did you go off to?
Charmander: Oh, Serena mentions going to that hallway to see a place beyond it.
Giroro: Oh, that's good.
His eyes then widens, as he remembers something.
Giroro: Wait! Doesn't that hallway leads to...
Everyone: THE WEST WING!
The servants ran off to find Serena's group with Pikachu and Skitty running after them. Back with Serena's group, before they could reach the end of the hallway, the servants caught up to them and blocks their way.
Serena: What's over there?
Boss: Oh, nothing that would interest you.
Giroro: The West Wing has nothing important. Very dusty, dull and boring.
Charmander nods in agreement. Looking at the servants and back at the hallway, Buster smirks, remember what Goku told them not to go to.
Buster: Ah-ha! So, that's the West Wing!
Charmander looks alarmed, then he glares at Giroro in annoyance, since Giroro has let slip about the West Wing.
Plucky: What is it he has over there he doesn't want people to see?
Agumon: Oh, Master Goku isn't hiding anything.
Calamity: Well, whatever it is, it can't be as forbidden as the Saiyan says.
Chimchar: Hold it! There are Super Robots guarding the West Wing. You wouldn't wanna try to get pass them.
Furrball: No problem. We can fight through and check it out.
Turtwig: I wouldn't do that if I were you. The Super Robots are so powerful, they'll kill anyone in one shot.
Dizzy: But we still wanna see what over there.
Boss: Perhaps there is something else you would wanna see.
Yakko: Later. We gotta see this.
Giroro: Can you at least see the gardens or library?
Serena: You have a library?
Agumon: Sure. We got a bunch of books you can dream of.
Wakko: OK. But first, do you know where the bathroom is?
Piplup: It's by the entrance of the hallway we just passed.
Serena: Thanks. We'll come back soon.
Serena and her friends ran all the way back to the entrance hall out of the servants' sights. They started huddling up for a plan.
Serena: We gotta check out the West Wing.
Buster: I agree. But how can we get there if the servants are with us.
Plucky: We might need a distraction to draw them away from us.
Gogo: Leave it to me. I can take care of this.
Gogo made some hand signs like a ninja.
Gogo: KAGE BUNSHIN NO JUTSU!
A smoke surrounds Gogo. When the smoke dies down, 15 Gogo clones appeared. Gogo even has yellow spiky hair.
Furrball: Wow, Gogo. That was incredible.
Gogo: I know. Believe it!
He then made more hand signs.
Gogo: HENGE NO JUTSU!
The 15 clones of Gogo transforms into Serena and her friends.
Gogo: That should distract the servants.
Gogo and his transformed clones walked back to the servants.
Boss: What took you guys so long?
Fake Serena: Sorry. We got kinda lost.
Charmander: Whatever. Let's get going to the library.
Gogo and his transformed clones followed the servants to the left hallway. Serena and the rest of her friends made their way to the right hallway.
Serena: Well, that was easy.
Calamity: Now, let's go check out the West Wing.
Little Beeper beeps in agreement. Serena and the gang made their way to the West Wing, but were stopped by what they saw what's ahead of them. At the end of the hallway, there are alot of Super Robots guarding what looks like a bunch of steps that leads to a dark corridor.
Serena: The servants were right. There are alot of Super Robots.
Dizzy: We may need to fight through them.
Yakko: Hold it! Me, Yakko, and Dot have an idea.
Wakko: We will distract them, while you guys will head for the West Wing.
Babs: OK. What is your plan?
Dot: Just watch.
The Warner Siblings walked up to the Super Robots, while Serena and the Tiny Toons hide behind some armors. The Super Robots noticed them.
G1 Optimus: Who are you three kids?
Yakko & Wakko: We're the Warner Bros.
Dot: And I'm the Warner Sister.
RX-78 Gundam: You kids do know the West Wing is forbidden.
Yakko: We just wanna sing a great song for you all.
Gaogaigar: What song?
Wakko: Just listen.
Wakko and Dot pulls out some music instruments and plays the Looney Tunes Merry-Go-Round Broke Down. Yakko starts singing.
Yakko: Now Roger is his name. Laughter is his game. Come on, you dopes, untie his folks, or watch him go insane.
He walks over to a broom, jumps on it to raise it up, and it hits him in his face. Serena, Buster, and Babs are watching from the sideline.
Serena: I think he lost his mind.
Buster: I don't think so.
Yakko picks up some bowling balls and starts singing again.
Yakko: This singing ain't my line. It's tough to make a rhyme. If I get stuck, I'm...I'm outta luck.
He starts juggling some bowling balls. Some of them landing on his head, making him walk backwards. He slips on a banana peel, falling through a wall. Suddenly, he jumps out of the wall with a pogo stick and jumps real high to hit a chandelier in the ceiling. He fell back down to the floor. He then got back up and starts singing again.
Yakko: I'm through with taking falls. I'm bouncing off the walls. What I'd got done, I'd had some fun, I'd kick you in the nose.
Wakko and Dot stops playing.
Wakko: Nose? That doesn't rhyme with walls.
Dot: No. But this does.
She kicks Wakko in the groin. Wakko screams in pain.
Yakko: Good night, everybody!
G1 Optimus: Are you making fun of us?
Dot: No. But if you wanna catch us, come and get us!
The Warner Siblings started running away.
RX-78 Gundam: Oh, you asked for it!
Gaogaigar: Everyone, after them!
The Super Robots started chasing the Warner Siblings down the hallway. Serena and the Tiny Toons got out of their hiding places.
Plucky: Way to go, Warner Siblings.
Furrball: Now, we can go check out the West Wing.
Serena and the gang starts heading towards the steps that leads to the West Wing. Meanwhile, back with Gogo, his clones, and the servants, they are touring around the other hallway. Boss stops in front of a door at the end of the hallway.
Boss: And this is where the library is.
Gogo: That's cool. Can we go inside?
Charmander: Sure. But try not to make a mess of things.
Suddenly, everybody noticed the Warner Siblings running through the hallway. The servants were confused.
Oxnard: Are those the Warner Siblings?
Pepper: That's weird. I thought they were with us.
Everyone was looking at the three Gogo clones disguised as the Warner Siblings.
Cappy: They are with us. It must have been our imagination.
Penelope: Ookwee?
Suddenly, everyone saw a stampede of Super Robots coming after them.
G1 Optimus: You three troublemakers won't get away this time!
The Super Robots ran over everyone in a dust cloud. When the dust dies down, everyone was coughing.
Giroro: Is everyone alright?
Agumon I think so.
Boss: What about you, Serena?
The servants turned to see only Gogo himself.
Charmander: Gogo? Is that you? Where are Serena and the others?
Gogo: Umm...about that...
Suddenly, the Warner Siblings came running back.
Gogo: No time to talk! See ya all later!
He follows the Warner Siblings back to the other side of the hallway.
Agumon: This is really weird. First the Warner Siblings were running down the hallway...
Biyomon: But our Warner Siblings are with us, but it's not really them...
Charmander: The Super Robots are chasing after the real Warner Siblings...
Torchic: Then when the Super Robots ran us over, only Gogo was here with us...
Giroro: Then if Gogo and the real Warner Siblings are here...
Boss: Then Serena and the rest of the gang must be at the...
The whole gang gasped.
Everyone: THE WEST WING!
The servants followed Gogo and the Warner Siblings down the hallway. Meanwhile, back with Serena and the Tiny Toons, they went up the steps to the West Wing and enters a dark corridor with broken statues. Babs, Shirley, Fifi, and Cosette held onto their boyfriends' arms.
Furrball: It's no wonder why Goku doesn't want anyone in here. He never seems to clean up this part of the castle.
They passed a broken mirror and soon came up to a door that has a door handle with a carved face that is trying to tell them to go away. Serena almost left, but she sucks up her courage, opens the door, and she and her friends went in. The room was a total mess. Goku doesn't seem to care about cleaning up after himself.
Plucky: Geez, this place is worse than Dizzy's house.
Shirley: It looks like a monster went here. Or maybe Goku did.
Dizzy: What that?
He points at something. Serena turns and gasped. What Dizzy is pointing at is a portrait of a man with black spiky hair and an orange karate gi.
Serena: Turles? No wait...he's someone else, but looks familiar.
There is something familiar about the man's eyes, but she couldn't say for sure, since there are slashes across the picture, as if Goku himself has ripped it with his claws.
Calamity: Who is it, Serena?
Serena: I am not sure. There's something familiar about him...
Suddenly, her attention was interrupted by a shimmer of light. The others turned and sure enough, there is a rose under a glass jar on a table nearby. The others got closer to to take a look at it. Serena and the Tiny Toon girls looked in wonder at it.
Fifi: What is zhat? It sure is beautiful.
Cosette: Oui. It is zhe most beautiful rose I've ever seen.
Serena: removes the jar and is about to touch the rose itself, when a shadow appears, making her stop. The group looks up and gasped. Goku is at the window. Goku quickly charges forward with a roar, causing Serena and her friends to move out of the way. He placed the jar back over the rose very quickly. As Serena and her friends backed off, Goku looks at them with a furious look.
Goku: Why are you all here?
Serena: I'm sorry. I didn't mean-
Goku: I have told you that all of you are not to come here!
Furrball: Come on. We didn't mean any harm.
Goku grabs Serena by the wrist.
Goku: Do you realize what you have almost done? GET OUT!
He lets go of Serena, making her run to the door in fear.
Goku: GET OUT!
Buster: Oh, alright! We're leaving!
Babs: And don't expect us to come back!
Little Beeper beeps in fear. As Serena and her friends ran out of the room, Goku slowly realizes what they mean and try to say.
Goku: Wait! Stop!
However, they are all out of the room, before he could stop them. With a sad sigh, he sits on the ground and puts his face in his hands. Once again, his anger has costed him very dearly. After removing his hands, he began to sing.
Goku: And in my twisted face...There's not the slightest trace. Of anything that even hints at kindness. And in my tortured shape. No comfort, no escape.
He then stands up, as he continues.
Goku: I see, but deep within utter blindness. Hopeless. As my dream dies. As the time flies. Love's a lost illusion. Helpless. Unforgiven. Cold and driven. To this sad conclusion.
He goes to a broken mirror nearby and sighs sadly, as he looks into it.
Goku: No beauty could move me. No goodness improve me. No power on earth, if I can't love her. No passion could reach me. No lesson could teach me. How could I have loved her and make her love me, too? If I can't love her, then who?
He now goes over to a portrait Serena and her friends looked into earlier, before he yells at them.
Goku: Long ago, I should have seen. All the things I could have been. Careless and unthinking I moved onward.
He goes outside, goes to the top spire of the mansion, stood on it, and sings in a powerful tone of voice.
Goku: No pain could be deeper. No life could be cheaper. No point anymore if I can't love her. No spirit could win me. Hope I could have loved her. And that she'd set me free. But it's not to be. If I can't love her. Let the world be done with me!
Back downstairs, Serena and the Tiny Toons rejoined Gogo and the Warner Siblings, as they ran to the door. The servants caught up to them.
Charmander: Hey! Where are you all going?
Serena: I am not going to honor my promise to stay in this place any longer!
Furrball: Yeah! He's a monster!
Serena opens the door. Snow blew into the castle, but Serena and her friends ran out anyway.
Boss: Wait! Come back!
But the group closed the door, making it too late. The servants sighed very sadly, believing that all was lost. Serena and her friends were riding in the wagon along with Luigi, who manages to find a place to hide or things to do, while they were inside the castle, as they make their way home. Luigi snaps on the reins, making Epona run away. They were all relieved to escape the dreaded castle and it's terrible owner, but they aren't out of the woods yet. Literally. The group has no idea how to get out of the place and they soon ended up lost. Suddenly, Buster hears some snarling.
Plucky: What is it, Buster?
Buster: I think leaving was a bad idea. We got company.
Then Luigi screams. The Wolfos, the same ones who attacked Mario before, appeared. Except they have white winter fur and red eyes. They are the White Wolfos. Seeing a new meal, they chased after the wagon. The chase continues, until the wagon knocks into something and the gang all flew off. They got off with a groan.
Calamity: Man, watch where you're going.
They gasped, as they see the White Wolfos approaching very hungrily. They tried to get the wagon up, but it was too late, as the Wolfos surrounded them. Buster, Plucky, Dizzy, Furrball, and Calamity grabs their weapons and got in a defense stance. As more of the Wolfos surrounded them, Serena, picking up a tree branch, and her friends began fighting them off. But no matter what, the Wolfos either kept getting back up or more appeared.
Dizzy: There too many of them.
Plucky: Man, this is crazy.
Serena was swinging wildly, but she trips. She looks and screams, as a White Wolfos approached her.
Everyone: Serena!
The White Wolfos jumps at Serena, but a familiar figure came out of nowhere and grabs it. It was Goku. He roars at it and throws it at a tree, knocking it out instantly. He then turns his attention at the Wolfos and begins fighting them off.
Babs: The Super Saiyan Beast is helping us?
Buster: I thought he told us to get out.
Some of the White Wolfos manages to sink their teeth into Goku, making him roar in pain, but he knocks them off. As Serena and her group watched, Goku continues fighting them off like mad. Soon, he launched a Kamehameha that knocks all the Wolfos back. When they are gone, Serena and her friends looked at Goku, who looks back. The Saiyan himself is in bad shape from all the fighting with claw marks on him and his eyes half open. With a groan, he fell into the snow. The servants ran up to him.
Servants: MASTER GOKU!
Luigi and the Tiny Toons got the wagon up and are about to move it.
Luigi: Come on, guys. Let's a go, before he a recovers.
Serena looks at Goku from the wagon. They are free to go now, but looking back at the Saiyan who saved them, Goku looks up weakly and gave a sad look, as if telling them to leave him there to die.
Serena: No, Luigi. We can't.
Yakko: Say what?
Serena: We can't leave him here like that. He'll die.
Luigi: Oh, come on. He a can defend a himself.
Buster: No, Serena's right. Come on, let's get him back to the castle.
Plucky: First, let's have a vote on this. Anyone in favor of leaving him, raise your hands.
Only Plucky and Luigi raised their hands.
Plucky: Anyone in favor of helping him?
Everyone but Plucky and Luigi raised their hands.
Plucky: OK, fine. We'll go help him out.
Serena and her friends helped Goku up and puts him on the wagon. The servants joined along, as well. Epona starts walking the wagon back to the castle.
Serena: Maybe he isn't a monster like we thought. He is a gentle Saiyan after all.
In the parlor back in the castle, Twilight puts some water in the bowl, while Fluttershy warms it up. Serena puts and towel in it and rinsed it. As her friends, including Luigi, who they convinced to come into the castle with them, watched, Serena looks at Goku, who is in his chair.
Serena: Calm down.
She saw Goku hold his hurt arm.
Serena: Don't do that.
Goku just growls at her, annoyed. The servants and Serena's friends backed off in concern. Goku tried to keep his arm away, while Serena tried to reach his wounds with the wet towel.
Serena: Hold still, would you?
She the puts the wet towel on Goku's wounds. The Saiyan's eyes widened up and he roars loudly, freaking the others out.
Goku: That hurt!
Serena: If you would hold still, it wouldn't hurt so much!
Goku: Well, if you and your friends haven't run off, I wouldn't have gotten hurt!
Serena: If you haven't scared us, mostly me, almost half to death, we wouldn't have run off!
Goku was about to say something, but stops. He knew she was right. He did scared them almost half to death and he felt bad for doing so. Still, he isn't about to lose the argument yet.
Goku: Well, you shouldn't have disobey me and go to the West Wing when I told you all, except the three new creatures, not to!
Serena: You should learn to control your temper!
Calamity: Seriously. You shouldn't be so nasty to people.
Goku and Serena looks at each other.
Serena: Hold still. This will sting a bit.
Goku cringes, as he looks away and closed his eyes, getting ready for the sting. Serena cleans his cuts.
Serena: Oh, and thank you for saving our lives, including mine. You're not a monster. You're a Super Saiyan hero.
Goku opens his eyes in surprise and turns to her. In all his life, no one has ever thanked him before. All they did was demand something in return, but this girl...she didn't seem to want anything from him rescuing them. For the first time ever, he felt...warm inside.
Goku: You're welcome.
Serena's friends, the servants, Pikachu, and Skitty smiles, as Serena continues cleaning Goku's cuts up.
Charmander: Perhaps there is hope yet.
