Itachi is pacing back and forth in the hallway of a hospital with a worried look on his face while Eva is leaning up against the wall with a look of worry on her face.
The doctor came out of the room where with a calm composed expression on her face as she looked at the two concerned Eva and Itachi.
The Doctor said," Ms. Albert is very much alive but she is suffering from starvation, lack of rest. So please let us keep her for a couple of nights."She looked at the two worried people that there for Jessica Albert.
Itachi said," Please notify us when she is cleared to leave the hospital."He looked at the doctor who nodded.
Eva and Itachi made their way down the hall then time slow leaving Itachi able to move to make him narrowed his eyes until he saw something in front of him making Itachi narrowed his eyes at the thing as it appeared in front of them.
It was a beautiful woman wearing red with large yellow wings looking at him with a motherly smile on her face.
The lady said,'' Greetings Keeper.'' She looked at Itachi with a smile on her face as she looks at him.
Itachi said," Keeper? Who are you Maam?" He looked at the lady before him with a curious expression on his face.
The lady said," I need you to protect my defender." She spoke in a cryptic tone causing the lady to glow red making Itachi close his eyes.
Itachi opened his eyes as he see is New York City making his eyes widened in astonishment then he see his bike with a note along with a bag. Itachi went to grab the note and he reads it making stunned
The note states" Dear Keeper my Defender's name is Aliera Carstairs and she currently doesn't know about her destiny so I need you to watch after since some of my enemies are getting bolder as they want to attack her so I need you to keep an eye on her. Another thing I enrolled you into her school and along with putting you in her assigned classes.
Itachi hops on his Valhalla cycle then he rodes off ignoring the widened people as they see his bike muttering in awe of it causing Itachi to feel proud about his newly acquired bike he see the high school where the school bus is letting the kids pouring at. Itachi parked his bike on the street curve and he see he got people's attention especially the girls as they sent winking faces towards him but he see one that caught his eye.
It a paled-skinned Causican woman with raven black hair in twin pigtails two onyx eyes, wearing a necklace around her neck, a hoodie, jeans, and black Chuck Taylor's. She has a duffle bag but in the duffle bag is a golden fencer foil with a red ruby at the end and Itachi notices the girl was looking at him.
The two were locked in a staring contest then they broke out of their trance causing the girl to move in a hurry to the school and Itachi does the same as he gets off the cycle grabbing his backpack.
Itachi said," Time to go to school." He made his way towards the school where he see all eyes on him and he hears whispering from the girls causing him to blush to make them cooed at him.
Itachi made his way into the school and he see so many students from a different category from nerds, preps, popular, goth, and outsiders but he is looking for the principal office so he can give his information sheet.
Itachi see a female teacher up ahead and Itachi made his way towards the teacher then he taps the teacher on the shoulder causing the teacher to turn around.
The teacher said," Can I help you, young man?" He looked at Itachi with a curious expression on his face.
Itachi said," I am looking for the principal office." He looked at the teacher who brighten a bit with a smile.
The teacher said," Your the new student, and allow me to show you the principal office." He leads Itachi to the principal office.
Meanwhile, the same black-haired girl is sitting at her classroom desk thinking about that boy she saw riding on that strange but cool-looking motorcycle. She recalled staring into his teal green eyes.
The girl thought " What am I thinking? I have more important things to do than check out some boy." She pushes the thoughts about the boy in the back of her mind and she tries to focus on her business.
The girl looked around her classroom with an uninterested face as she see the many norms in her classroom then she see the door of the classroom being opened up revealing the teacher with the boy with an intresting bike with his books in his hands.
The teacher said," Students we have a new student and student please introduce yourself." He gestured for the young man to come front and center.
The boy said," Hello my name Itachi Ibushi and I hope you treat me well." He smiled an easy-going smile.
The girls in the squealed and the black-haired girl felt her heart skipped a beat as she see the smile that Itachi gave the class then see the teacher telling Itachi to go take a seat next to her making the black girl feel hot for some reason.
The girl stares at Itachi in silence taking in his looks and she wonders about him then she see Itachi look at her with a curious expression.
Itachi said," Oh hello and my name is Itachi Ibushi." He offered a hand out for a handshake which the black-haired girl accepted
The black-haired girl said," My name is Aliera Carstairs and it is nice to meet you Itachi ." She smiled at Itachio without noticing his brief suprised expression.
Itachi thought " So she is the so-called Defender." He looked at Aliera with intrigue on his face and he then along with everyone begins to the lesson.
Throughout the lesson on literature Aliera couldn't take her eyes off of Itachi and she feels something different about him that separates him from the usual norms at her school but she can't place it.
Through the class period, the teacher gave them a lecture on the Fall of house Usher which half of everyone zoned out until the bell rings causing the students to rush out of their seats as they head of the room.
Itachi and Aliera grabbed their stuff then made their way out of the room down but little did they notice their shadows had a shadow shape of a dragon stalking after them. Itachi is wondering why is a girl is the so-called Defender.
A couple of minutes later the students are pilling out of the school and Itachi along with Aliera are walking on different sides of the walkway. Itachi made his way towards his bike where to see some popular students looking at his bike.
" That is some cool-looking bike!"
" It so dopes!"
" I wonder who owns this bike."
Itachi said," Excuse me. Coming through." He walked past the popular students and he was about to mount his bike until he felt someone tap his shoulder and he see it Aliera looking at a stoic but pleasing expression.
Aliera asked," Hey uh Itachi think you can drive me to my Fencing studio?" She looked at Itachi with an embarrassed look.
Itachi said," Sure, and hop on." He gestured for Aleira to hop on the bike and she wraps her hands on her waist.
Itachi rides off to Aliera's shock as she is amazed by the speed of the bike that Itachi owns then she begins directing Itachi to where her fencing studio is located at then she see it is up ahead causing Itachi to park his bike on the sidewalk.
Aliera said," Thanks and can you please pick me when Fencing practice is over ?" She looked at Itachi.
Itachi said," Sure Aliera and I will ride around." He smiled at ALiera as she smiled or at least a twitch of a lip then Itachi rides off.
Itachi rides off and he thought his mission or quest by the unknown lady about protecting her defender aking him curious about how is a girl is a defender of anything. Itachi rides around until he felt the world starts to distorted causing Itachi to shift gears.
" She brought you here to stop me from crossing over?"
The World returned to normal and Itachi shakes his head in confusion then he continued riding around until he parked his bike in front of a park then Itachi begins to take a nap. Itachi opens his eyes to see fire everywhere.
Itachi see a burning building and hears screaming from the building making Itachi cover his ears along with closing his eyes trying to block off the sight of the burning building along with the screaming.
Itachi wakes up in the real world and he gasps looking very traumatized then he calms down then he gained a hardened expression as he rides off on his bike. Meanwhile, in the fencing studio, Aliera is in her fencing uniform sparring against another student with the other students watching them with the instructor.
" Protect your heart!"
Aliera thought " Easy said and , coach." She grumbled as she parried a thrust from her opponent and she goes for Lunge which was intercepted by Riposte from her opponent making Aliera narrowed her eyes then she feints another lunge then she pierced the heart of her opponent.
The instructor cried,'' Time!'' He steps towards the two and the other students clapped in approval.
Aliera and her opponent shake hands then they were joined by the other fencing students with the instructor standing in front of them. The instructor begins giving words of encouragement to his student and he says one thing that should stick with them.
The instructor said," Remember students to always protect your heart." He points to his chest then he dismisses his students.
The students made their way to the shower room and Aliera is happy she walked away with the victory as she enters the shower where see her fellow females fencers are chatting to each other about other mundane stuff.
" So there were these new skirts on sale for half off."
" No way !'
" Yes, way!"
Aliera rolled her eyes as she listens to these talk about skirts of all things in the world but she see all eyes on her.
One girl said," Hey Aliera who was that boy that dropped you off here to the studio?" She looked very curious about the cute with the strange but cool-looking bike.
Another girl said," Yeah who is he?" She wonders since she along with the other wanna know if he is Aliera's boyfriend.
Aliera said," He is a classmate Amy and I asked him to give me a ride." She looked at her fellow fencers with a deadpan look.
Outside of the fencing, the studio is Itachi leaning on his bike waiting for Aleira where he see coming out of the studio with an annoyed look on her face making concern. Aliera steps in front of him and she takes a deep breath before calming down.
Aleira said," Ley Itachi let get out of here." She looked at Itachi with begging look as she see from the corner of her eyes her fellow female fencers are squealing at them.
Itachi and Aleria boarded the bike then Itachi rides off with Aleria giving him directions to her house then he looks around New York taking in the sight of the Big Apple. Itachi see Aleria's home up ahead.
Aliera said," Thanks for the ride." She smiled wrly at Itachi who smiled at her with a smile on his face.
Itachi said," Anytime." He hits the brakes near the sidewalk of Alieria's house and he watches as he felt her let go of his waist.
Aliera said," Hey Itachi do want to come in for a bit?" She looked at Itachi with a curious looks and she see his face break out into smile.
Itachi said," Sure." He gets off the bike and he follows behind Aliera as she leads him to the door then takes out a key where she opened the door.
