"Welcome home boss," Happy says as the group arrives in the underground garage of Stark Towers. "Miss Pepper has floor 5 set up for our guests."
"Excellent and security measures," Tony asks as they enter the elevator and push buttons 2, 4, 5, 6, and PH.
"All amended and working effectively," Happy says as he hands Tony a package.
"Now I am big on security here in the tower after our last incident," Tony says before handing out key cards and pamphlets. "The labs, ranges are on floors 7 and 8, you will find the gyms on the main level, floors 2 through 6 are living accommodations, floor 9 holds the bowling alley and movie theatre, the top floor is the main entertainment area and penthouse floor is dedicated to Pepper and my lives as we run Stark Industry and our normal lives out of that floor. Happy you will find on the second floor, Maria and the other Avengers are on floor 6, your team will be team floor five, floors two and three are mainly for guests or out of town workers. Floor four is Callie and the Ward siblings' floor. Your keycards will get you into anywhere for the next few days as we need to input biometrics into the normal system."
"Biometrics," Fitz and Simmons ask excitedly as Happy shakes his head and gets off on his floor.
"Palm prints, facial recognition, fingerprints, rental scans," Rhodey begins to list. "If he could figure out how to get a heartbeat, core body temperature and blood pressure readings he would."
"Shouldn't be that difficult," Fitz says with Simmons nodding.
"Invasion of privacy," Grants says as he gets off the elevator. He doesn't hear the return comment as the elevator closes. He walks down the short hallway and realizes that there is only one door. He quickly places his key card on the scanner as the door opens up. He walks through and notices to his left a small door, which he opens to note the mechanical closet. He continues down the hall noticing that small table that holds a bin and three sets of keys all with keycards attached to them. He tosses his keycard in and takes off his jacket before placing it in the closet directly across from the table along with his shoes. He continues down the hallway and reaches a second hallway, noting a dining room directly ahead of him and the living room to the right of him.
He remembers Callie telling him that the left side of their apartment held Patty and Thomas's rooms as well as the laundry room and half bath. His sister and brother decided that they wanted the rooms further from the couple. Grant shook his head at that thought, so he turned right and continued down the hallway. He could now see the kitchen and the living area that the three had divided into two areas one for large group activities and a smaller area in front of the fireplace for reading and relaxing. He then notices the door to the left of him, and walks towards and opens it. He walks through the small hallway and stops in his spot when he notices Callie all curled up asleep in the bed in front. He casually leans against the door frame as he watches her, this is the first time that he has seen her in almost eight weeks.
Their short visit during the search for the staff had been the one thing that had kept him going. She still looked as beautiful as she did when they were in Ireland. He quickly glanced at the clock and realized that he had about six hours before his siblings would want breakfast and he has to get ready for the meeting.
He quickly places his bag down just beside the door before stripping down to his boxers and climbing into bed. He wraps his arms around Callie as she snuggled into his hold.
