Yunyun had approached their home, her hands clasped behind her back. She had presented herself in a pleasant manner, making sure to clean up her appearance prior to appearing before the others. She even made sure to put on a smile to allude the others of her malicious intentions.

Upon knocking on the door, it was only for a brief moment that she had to wait for it to be opened. She was greeted by Darkness, who was the only one around at the moment, from what she could tell. She continued to force her smile as she stood there.

"Hello Darkness. I came by to speak to Kazuma, if that was possible," she states.

"Sure," Darkness replies. "He's upstairs. He's still recovering from the accident, but I don't think he minds company."

Moving aside, she allows her to enter the home, who steps in with her hands still behind her back. Darkness was suspicious about her behavior, yet she dismissed it as her being a bit nervous after the whole altercation. Yunyun takes a moment to inspect the area. It was just as she thought: Darkness was the only one around. This was good news for her. Darkness passes her on her way to the kitchen; however, as she did so, Yunyun had drawn her hand from her behind her back, revealing a blunt object similar to a hammer.

"After hearing about what happened between Megumin and you, I'm really sur--"

Bringing it down overhead, the object collided with the back of her head, the blonde collapsing to the floor on impact with an audible thud. Looking down at her with a rather cold expression, she leaves her lying there, taking her weapon with her as she ascended the stairs to his room.

Now standing before his door, she opened it ever so slowly, noticing him staring out the window. The ire dwelling within her was growing like a raging fire. To cause her such pain and be able to live happily ever after? No, that's not happening. Not if she had something to say about that.

"I know you're there, so you can stop--"

The look she gave him--the look of complete shock--it was the reaction she was hoping for. The corners of her lips turned upwards as she turns around, ensuring that they weren't going to be disturbed by locking the door. There was no way that the others can disturb them now.

"Y--Yunyun, what are you--"

"Please, hush," she commands him, approaching him.

"It seems that your lucky stats have prevented you from dying. Even if that is the case, as you are now, I can take my sweet time with this..."

Kazuma could only watch as she approached him, the blunt object used against Darkness being shown to him. The confusion on his transitioned into that of worry with each step she took. She could see the fear in his eyes, and she loved every second of it.

"You took Megumin away from me, Kazuma." She spoke with such a melancholic tone, as if to convey how much she had been hurt. Now standing at the foot of his bed, she had taken hold of the leg that was still healing. What happened next, after the object was brought down upon him, was only that of pure agony.

Kazuma let out a cry of absolute agony. His right leg was still in the process of healing, so her striking it was beyond any pain that he had ever felt while conscious. Kazuma was basically in tears after being hit once, just for him to notice her raising the object again.

"Don't! Stop!"

Bringing it down once again, Kazuma released an even louder scream of agony than before. A sudden banging on the door was then heard, the person on the other end shaking the door as of to break the hinges. They were calling for him, their distinct tone being one that they both knew very well.

"Kazuma! Kazuma! Open the door!" Megumin cries out.

"Yunyun, stop this! Don't hurt him!"

"This pain he feels is only a minor fraction of how I felt," she says.

"If only he hadn't gotten involved, you would've stayed with me!"

Megumin felt her heart aching as she heard Kazuma screaming. She was being brought to tears, unable to help he person she loved dearest. She only had to buy enough time until Aqua could return with help, but the longer she stood by, the more she wanted to break down the door and save him.

Aqua was running down the street in a panic. Bursting into the hall, she made her way to the counter, startling Luna. The others also witnessed, their attention upon her.

"Aqua? What's wrong? Is everything--"

"We need help!" She tells Luna. "Kazuma is in trouble! Yunyun hurt Darkness, and she's now after Kazuma! Please, help us!"

Luna didn't think twice before gathering her belongings. The others that were present and heard the situation were also following behind them as they rushed out. She had managed to gather a small party to help her assist them. The only thing to do now was get there in time before it's too late.

Kazuma was sniffling as the stream of tears ran down his face. She had stopped her torture, and his leg was even more bruised than before. Though, the trauma of having been tortured was going to be something that would linger a lot longer than this excruciating pain that was coursing through him. He didn't know that Yunyun had such a dark side to her.

"I was the one who hurt you--not Kazuma!" Megumin explains to Yunyun.

"I used you because I was only being selfish. And in the end, I have nobody to blame but myself. I was just so mad and confused..."

Yunyun halted her actions as the words began to sink in. Though, despite receiving the truth from the one she loved, her thirst for retribution was not yet satiated. Hurting Kazuma was just her way of receiving compensation for his part in hurting her; having Megumin hear him being tortured was just the benefit that came with it. Yunyun was truly that hell-bent on revenge.

"Megumin, move."

Darkness was now standing before Megumin and the door. The look in her eyes--she was determined to save Kazuma. She had wrapped a bandage around her head, some blood still apparent. If anybody had a chance to break the door down, it was her. She didn't even have a choice as Darkness was already poised, getting a running start and using her shoulder, which had padding upon it, to break it down. Crashing into the door, she managed to severely dent it. Taking a few steps back, she was once again in position to ram it down.

Yunyun was physically shaken by the sudden bang. Seeing the dent in the door, she knew that someone else was attempting to break in. Rushing over to the window, she takes a gander out of it, realizing Aqua had returned with a band of people. Things were not looking good.

Kazuma witnessed as Yunyun was starting to get worried. She still had the object in her hand, but with her focus off of him, it was his opportunity to take the initiative. His leg was still seething with pain, though that wasn't going to deter him. He needed to keep her distracted until they were able to break down the door.

"It looks like you won't be able to go through with this after all," Kazuma taunts her.

"After that door comes down, it's over. Just stop this, Yunyun."

Yunyun turns to face him before reaching into her pocket to retrieve a syringe. It had a purple liquid in it. Prior to the door being rammed, before it came down, she stand him with the syringe in his arm, injecting the mysterious liquid into him. It was the second attempt of the door being rammed did it finally come down, revealing that the others had a hand in helping her this time. Spilling into the room, they swarmed Yunyun, pinning her in a matter of seconds.

Rushing over to Kazuma, they noticed how injured he was. The damage done to his leg had made it a dark purple, and he was breathing heavily as he was starting to sweat bullets. He was definitely in bad shape.

"What's wrong with him?!" Megumin asks aloud.

"It's already too late," Yunyun states. "I injected him with a poison that I concocted with the material I bought from Wiz. It's a poison that, unless treated soon, will kill him. He'll be dead any minute now."

"You evil--" Aqua delivers a solid right to Yunyun's cheek, who spits the blood out of her mouth soon after. She then smiles, this only infuriating the girls even more.

Removing her from the room, some of them escorted her out of the home. More people had arrived on the scene, including a local doctor, whom was directed to where they were.

Kazuma's eyesight grew blurry. He could hear his heart slowing in its beat, becoming ever so slower. Their mouths were moving yet every word he heard was muffled. His body felt like stone, and his eyes were growing heavier by the second, with him being unable to endure their weight. The final image that he received was the faces of everyone looking at him with panic.

Everything soon went black, and silence feel around him...
