Chapter 7
Girl to Girl
Xochitl took in the lovely scents of the mountain. Carlos and Maria had decided that she and Tracker had had a little too much excitement with each other as of late, and that they should each spend some time with other pups. In Xochitl's case, Maria had arranged for her to have a veritable sleepover with Everest. The xolo, who was heavily dressed even for this weather, took in another breath and enjoyed the sensation of the cool air entering her nostrils. She never thought that there were so many amazing plants outside of the jungle, yet here they were.
Even better, Everest acted as a kind of Guid, telling her the names of everything. A number of the herbs they'd seen she had heard about, but never imagined she would actually see. It might as well have been haveavan for her.
After a good, four hour long hike, the two retired to the cabins. Now that the they were them were alone in a cabin, Xochitl could ask her she the thing been she had been meaning to ask her about.
"Um, Everest?"
"What is it Xochi," asked Everest.
"There's something I wanted to ask you," stated the hairless.
"What is it," inquired the Husky.
"I've been getting this strange feeling, when I'm snuggling with Tracker," explained Xochitl.
"What kind of feeling," asked Everest cautiously, as she had no idea where the florist's dog was going with this.
"A kind of tingly feeling," she elaborated.
"Where are you feeling this?" asked the curious Husky
"In my, um, well, um, my uh, my vagina," managed Xochitl clumsily. "Have you ever experienced something like that around Marshall?"
The incredulous Husky just shook her head.
"Hehe," giggled the nervous Xoloitzcuintli. "Let's change the subject," she suggested.
The two polar opposites fur-wise continued to converse with each other for another half hour, mostly about more typical girl stuff. Afterwards both of them decided to hit the sack. As she was about to lie down, Xocitl wondered, "Am I Normal?"
