The next day...
.
Jojo: *Yawns* ...Man, that was a nice slumber.
.
Jojo looked around to see that he is inside the S.S. NES. Specifically, the medical room.
.
Jojo: Wait. Was all of that a dream? Did we really crash? It doesn't look like it.
.
He looked at a window to see space and below it was PNF-404. Suddenly, the Pikmin Onion flew by, orbiting the ship.
.
Jojo: Wha-Huh?! I am beyond confused.
.
The door opened up and both Marlow and Sanders walked in.
.
Marlow: Haha, Jojo!
.
Sanders: Ow my ears.
.
Marlow: Thank goodness you're okay.
.
Jojo: What happened?
.
Sanders: Eh..well. It's a bit of a story.
.
Marlow: Yeah. It all started when we crashed on a muddy terrain and Sanders got stuck in the ship. I however fell out before it landed and I go out after finding the ship. I was looking for a way to get the ship out but I couldn't because it's hard and there are no shovels to dig. And then...So then...We then...And...So...
.
Hours later.
.
Marlow: And that's how we walked in this room.
.
Marlow Looked at the two other captains to see them asleep.
.
Marlow: Hey! Are you guys even listening?!
.
Sanders: *Shots up* Mwa- -Yeah.
.
Jojo: *Yawns* Well I do apologize for you two freaking out over me.
.
Sanders: We're just glad you're alive. I gotta say: Why did that animal kept you alive?
.
Jojo: Huh? It did?
.
Marlow: Wait, were you alright this whole time? Like you weren't attacked?
.
Jojo: Nah. I saw a large bug in the distance and it freaked me out so hard, I fainted.
.
Sanders: I'm telling you. Insects are evil.
.
Marlow: Okay...well I-uh, we are glad you're okay.
.
Sanders: Out of curiosity, did you see anything interesting Jojo?
.
Jojo: Well...
.
The day before...
.
Jojo slept underneath a big leaf until the sun rises. It shines brightly and it beams down on his eyes, which causes him to turn to the other side. He awoke when something dug up nearby him.
.
Jojo: Woah! *Get's up* Hey.
.
A large, beetle-like creature started to dart around Jojo like it's looking for something. The beetle shined brightly and with the sun's beam on it, it looked gorgeous. It was almost as if it was made of treasure.
.
Jojo: Goodness. Just what on PNF-404 are you?
.
The beetle ignored him and started to scurry off.
.
Jojo: Hey, wait!
.
Jojo kept following the beetle until he stumbled upon a large, metallic object, shaped like a cylinder. Words appeared on the can. It says...
.
Dr. Pepper
.
The next day...
.
Marlow: So where did you find this object?
.
Jojo: Somewhere in the hot area.
.
Sanders: At least it's better than the muddy area.
.
Marlow: *To Jojo* He really hates that place.
.
Jojo: Okay.
.
The ship and Onion flew down to base camp. The three got out off the ship to look at the beauty that is this sunny, dry desert.
.
Marlow: Orange ground. Dry leaves. Sharp looking plants. Not bad looking.
.
Sanders: Wait, you're saying that now? I figured you'd say that stuff yesterday.
.
Marlow: I was more focused on finding this guy. *Points to Jojo*
.
Sanders: Alright..I will gather quite a bit of Pikmin and scout ahead to find this metallic artifact. You two go out and explore. Maybe train Jojo the whole Pikmin business Marlow.
.
Marlow: You got it. Come on Jojo. Time to go meet the little ones.
.
Jojo: Sooo...what's the difference between the two?
.
Marlow looks at the Pikmin, then back at Jojo.
.
Marlow: Well besides the color and size, the red ones resonate a bit of heat and they have noses that are sharp. The whites can dig quite well and can tell if something is underneath like they have x-ray vision or something.
.
A random White burped a purple cloud out its mouth(?).
.
Marlow: Oh, and they also emit some kind of element not too great. It's possible that it's more deadly than this atmosphere.
.
Jojo: Really? Hmm...do you think they would attack us one day?
.
Marlow: You know, I never thought of that. I would assume they would follow orders without question.
.
Jojo: Maybe one day, they'll take us while we sleep and put us in that Onion and then we become the Pikmin.
.
Marlow: You sure are a conspiracist.
.
Jojo: Sorry. It kinda runs in the family.
.
Marlow: Ah..
.
Jojo: I'm not really proud if it.
.
It's noon, judging by the sun's position as Jojo learned and practice the ins and outs of being a certified captain.
.
Marlow: I believe you got everything covered.
.
Jojo: Minus that part where I tried to figure out what a Dwarf Bulborb really is.
.
Marlow: Yeah that.
.
Jojo: *Sighs* I guess I am such a pain. It took you two a few days to find me, just to hear me rant and say some nonsense.
.
Marlow: Hey It's okay. I myself am not great either. I am super optimistic and even a little oblivious sometimes. Even Sanders has a problem taking charge out of nowhere and he's afraid of bugs. The point is that no matter your issues or faults, they are just small hands that shape you into someone people love or hate.
.
Jojo: Heh, thanks. Even if I don't understand fully, I'll try to make sense of it.
.
Marlow: That's the spirit!
.
Jojo: I wonder what Sanders is up to.
.
