Chapter 6

Heroes Overcome the Impossible

Whenever heroes have to deal with unfair odds, they must always be ready to turn them in their favor. Such was the case, when Reuben and the Bikini Warriors noticed a sign that was written in a strange language, but had multiple holes upon it.

"Beware all, women have been attacked in a nearby forest," read Fighter.

"Whoa, that's really scary," whimpered Mage.

"'Victims have stripped naked, ravaged, and violated against their will.' What kind of devil would do such a thing?" Dark Elf asked.

"I'd say whoever's doing this has to pay for having no respect for girls," said Reuben, clenching his fist in anger.

Paladin glanced worriedly at him, and saw that his eyes were etched with hatred for the being that would dare do such terrible things. She gently took his hand, then pulled him into a gentle embrace.

"Don't worry, Reuben. Even if something terrible did happen to us, you'd still keep fighting, even against such a vile and disgusting creature," she said.

"Yeah, Paladin's right, Reuben. You don't need to go it alone, because, we'll stay by your side, no matter what," agreed Fighter.

"And no matter how scary it may be, you once told us that heroes don't back down," added Mage.

"That's right, we'll never leave your side, no matter what happens to us," finished Dark Elf.

"Thanks everyone, you girls are the best. But no matter how dangerous the opponent may be, we can't let fear stop us, not ever," replied Reuben.

They slowly but quietly entered the forest, until they heard sounds of scary creatures crying out, while Mage glanced around nervously, even though Reuben would stand by her side along with the rest of his friends.

"Stay calm, Mage. We're gonna get through this, I swear," said Reuben.

"That's right, the enemy could attack us at any moment. Just follow Reuben's lead and we'll be okay," agreed Fighter.

Suddenly, something whooshed past Dark Elf, tearing off part of her outfit, as Reuben ran in front of her, his sword held at the ready.

"This is as far as you go. You have no chance now, my prey," a voice said with an evil chuckle.

"If that's what you believe, guess again, cause I'm not gonna let you hurt another woman, or worse ravage her while I'm around!" snapped Reuben.

The dark creature then attacked Mage, knocking off her outfit, then Fighter's, and finally Paladin's, who was attacked by a dark slimy creature.

"Guys, what is this thing?" she cried out.

"God damn it! You're gonna pay for this!" shouted Reuben.

He turned to the other girls, only looking at their eyes.

"You guys help Paladin, I'll take care of him!" he called to Fighter, Mage, and Dark Elf.

The three of them nodded, as Reuben charged towards what was attacking his friends, then jumped up and charged up a powerful spell.

"HOLY!" he shouted.

An orb of white light burst from his hand, surged into the dark presence, and destroyed it instantly.

"This can't be happening to me! Why would I be defeated by a man who cares deeply about many women!?" screamed the demon.

"Don't mess with girls!" retorted Reuben, as he and Fighter finished him off with a powerful strike of their blades.

The demon was no more, and the black substance that was on Paladin faded away into nothingness. But at the same time, Reuben holstered his blade, then turned sadly away so as not to look at her exposed body.

"Girls, I'm really sorry. I wanted to do my best to protect you, but at the same time, I allowed that demon to almost hurt you," he said somberly.

But Paladin slowly stepped forwards, and hugged him.

"Don't be sorry. We all know how much you care about us. But, if we're about to get harassed again, you'll always be there to protect us," she said to him.

Reuben nodded, then gently hugged Paladin back. Eventually, the other girls stepped up and hugged him as well, knowing that he truly was a kind and caring individual. At long last, they reached the waterfall, and were now relaxing and recuperating after their feud with the demon.

"This is relaxing, don't you think?" asked Mage.

"Sure is, that was pretty dangerous back there. Our enemies have been really tough lately," replied Fighter.

"Yes, that's true. And imagine that they're only going to get tougher from here. But whatever the danger we face may be, We're heroes, and we'll keep fighting, no matter the cost," agreed Dark Elf.

"Until the day peace is restored, the five of us will journey on, and rid the world of all evil," finished Paladin.

"That's right, because together we're invincible, and nothing can tear us apart. Our hearts will always be one," said Reuben.

Once they finished their bath, the five of them decided that the time had come to continue onwards to the next town. At last they reached another inn, but this time, Reuben paid for the best suite, so that they could happily rest up for the next big adventure. Eventually, when night fell, and Reuben was sound asleep, Fighter decided it was her turn to sleep with him. She quietly got up from her own bed, slowly but silently climbed into bed next to him, and tucked herself under the covers next to Reuben. Then she gently kissed his forehead and fell fast asleep, just as Reuben pulled her close to him. The day's events seemed quite intense, but the Bikini Warriors knew that together with Reuben, they would overcome many obstacles that would be overcome by the five of them.
