AN: Hey guys. So sorry for the wait. I was real busy this week with school and a big track meet. We had twenty seven schools in total. Twenty freaking seven. The meet lasted for a good ten hours and afterwards I was super tired and so I just relaxed. Anyway, hope you enjoy this next chapter. I had fun writing it.

Enjoy~Immortalshark

*Lucy's POV*

I was writing a letter to my friend in the council. I stretched in my chair. "Man it feels good to finally relax."

"I couldn't agree more." a familiar voice said.

I smirked, "Hi Gray. How long have you been here?"

"I just got here." he grinned, "You wouldn't happen to have a change of clothes would you?"

I giggled. "Why don't you make a shirt and pants out of your magic?"

He smirked and did so. He put them on and just smiled. Luna walked over to him and sniffed. He scratched her behind the ears and she was puddy in his hands.

"Anyway, why are you here?" I asked.

Gray frowned, "You remember what's happening today right? Natsu challenged Erza to a fight back when we were after Eisenwald and it's about to happen."

"Oh, I know Erza will kick his ass. Just like every other time he fought her." I said.

"You don't have much faith in Natsu, do you?" Gray chuckled.

"I'll tell you one thing brother," I said, "I will always take Erza's side over Natsu's."

I was in my normal clothes and I went with Gray to watch. Plus I wanted to see how Erza fights. When I got there, there was already a crowd.

"This should be interesting." Elfman said.

Me being me, I scanned the area and felt something approaching. It wasn't close yet but still moving. I returned my attention back to Erza and Natsu. Natsu boasted that he had gotten stronger, but so did Erza.

"So they really are going through with it. This should be interesting." Wakaba said.

"Well, if those two value their manhood then they better go through with it." Elfman said.

"Eh, my bets on Scarlet." I muttered then I shouted so that Erza could hear me, "Oi Scarlet, you know what to do."

Erza caught my eye and her relaxed demeanor changed. She had a downright playful gleam in her eye.

"Oh just you wait Kel, I've got this in the bag." Erza said.

I tuned back into the conversation behind me.

"All I meant was that the three of them worked well together and have the best team chemistry in all of Fairy Tail." Mira said.

"I gotta say though, I'm psyched to see how this fight turns out." Elfman smiled.

"I agree with Lucy on this one though, Erza's gonna wipe the floor with him." Gray said with a smirk.

"It's been a while since we've squared off like this hasn't it Natsu?" Erza said.

"I was just a kid back then. Today's gonna be different. Cause I'm taking you down Erza." Natsu yelled.

Erza just smirked and waited. The battle started, courtesy of Makarov, and while Natsu was going at it full power; Erza was just playing with him. I smiled as I recognized the method, it's the one that I taught her when we were younger. I sighed when I sensed something coming closer.

"Looks like this fight is over." I complained.

I know I got weird looks but those looks died when a frog lady walked up.

"That's enough." she said, "Please remain calm. I am a messenger from the magic council."

-Not my plan Kel

I smirked as I knew it wasn't Ultear.

Then the messenger unrolled a piece of paper and started reading off charges. "As a result of the Eisenwald incident, a member of your guild has been charged with eleven counts of criminal property damage...Erza Scarlet! You are under arrest!"

Erza was under arrest. I snarled low enough that no one could hear. I slipped out of the way as everyone went back into the guild. I spotted Natsu and knocked him out before putting him in the guild. I equipped my attire, the attire that I wore because of my name.

*Mira's POV*

The guild was silent. Everywhere, mages were slumped in their seats.

"Let me out!" a tiny lizard creature demanded of me, "Let me out dammit!"

"Shut up Natsu." I told him, "If we let you out, you'll do something reckless and stupid."

"I won't!" it protested.

My demon souls, who were calmed just by her mere presence, were restless. I had to hold them down as Lucy wasn't here.

"Hey. Where's Lucy?" Elfman asked.

Everyone groaned, including Natsu. I looked over to see Natsu just waking up.

"What's everybody looking at me for?" he asked.

"Well, we thought that you would go after Erza." Elfman said.

"Lucy had the same idea and all I remember before blacking out is her saying sorry." Natsu said.

*Erza's POV*

I was handcuffed and was being escorted by the frog messenger. I was fine up until I saw a blue haired teen. I was not going to give him the satisfaction of seeing me down.

"Siegrain." I said.

I was refraining from punching him as I knew it was a projection. He leaned in close.

"The reason why I'm here before the trial is simple. Keep quiet about 'that' understand? It's for your own good." he said.

I kept my face impassive, but I knew what he was talking about. I really wanted Lucy here. I was called into the court and was listening to the charges. They didn't get far into talking about the evidence when a quiet snarl echoed in the hall. I looked around and saw the others pale, but only one didn't, in fact they smirked. I was a little unnerved.

"Disappointing." a very familiar voice said, "The damages you are 'accusing' Erza Scarlet of were only caused because our guild had to clean up your mess. A mess that wouldn't have happened in the first place if you were truly keeping an eye on that damned flute."

I saw the purple haired woman smirk.

"I was wondering when you'd arrive. Kelas, the Celestial Nightshade. The one who took out a majority of the strongest dark guilds in Alverez, Seven, Stella, and aided White Sea in Bosco." she said.

"Now see here…" the head judge began.

"No, you see. You're trying to cover your ass. Your mistake that Fairy Tail had to clean up. You don't want it escaping and reaching the public. Too bad. Instead of owning up to your mistake and being honorable, you point fingers. Now, this entire trial is pointless. I'm going to be taking my guild mate with me and you would be wise to try to not stop me." Kelas said.

She stepped over to me and grabbed my hand. We walked out of the hall and quite a bit away from the city. It wasn't until we hit the forest that we stopped. Kelas turned to me and she smiled as she pulled down her hood.

"Hello Erza." she said.

I smiled and equipped out of my armor to hug her. I finally felt safe again. I frowned when I thought of Seigrain threatening me. As if Lucy could sense it, she strengthened her grip. We talked on the way back to the guild, and I told her what I was up too. Luna, who had followed us everywhere, sat next to Lucy and her head was in Lucy's lap.

Elfman piped up, "Now that Erza's here, aren't you two going to continue your fight?"

Natsu jumped up, "You're right, let's continue Erza."

"No, save it for another day." I said, really not wanting to fight.

"No way," Natsu said, "We're continuing it!" he said as he attacked.

I sighed, "Fine."

I stood up, punched him in the gut hard and he was down. I heard Lucy giggle.

"How's that? Are you satisfied?" I asked him.

"And he's out!" Happy announced.

Then I felt sleepy, so I knew it was him coming.

*Makarov's POV*

I knew he was coming. He always put a sleep spell over the guild when he came. I looked over in shock that Lucy was still standing where the others were sleeping.

I blinked at her, "Lucy my dear, are you able to resist sleep magic?"

She smirked, "Yes, but his doesn't bother me."

Mystogan came into the guild and he looked towards Lucy. His eyes shown with mirth.

"Ah, the infamous Kelas is here." Mystogan said, "Nice to see you again."

Lucy just smirked, "Good to see you too."

He turned to me, "I shall return."

He then made to leave.

"Oi ox-head, lift the spell before you leave." Lucy said.

I heard him chuckle as he left. I watched him leave and minutes later, the guild was waking up.

*Lucy's POV*

I watched as the others woke up.

"Oh man, was that Mystogan?" someone asked.

"Yep." someone else said.

"Always putting people to sleep just because he doesn't want anybody to see his face." Gray said.

"That's not true. Looks like there's a thi…" a voice I knew well started but got cut off.

I looked up and saw Laxus standing there in absolute shock. Same with Evergreen and the others.

"I'm home Lax." I said with a smile.

*Laxus' POV*

I had returned to the stupid guild after a stupidly long mission with my crew. I called bullcrap on the length of it and found that the person who had requested the job was milking it. I got pissed because I could have used the rest of the time to look for my sister. My sister who had left the guild years ago to train and travel. Who's my sister you ask? Well, my dragon claimed her as kin when we met up by accident. She had been tailed by Bixlow as she had saved him along her travels and after meeting me, Bixlow followed me. She knew Bix was safe with me so she entrusted him to me.

I was in the guild with my crew and just listening to the conversations down on the first floor. I was irritated beyond belief. My dragon really wanted to see it's kin and was basically roaring in a rage that it couldn't. Natsu was complaining again that Erza wouldn't fight him. Honestly, Natsu's a pain in the ass. I remember him when he came to the guild, such a tiny boy. But he was cocky as all hell until he got beaten into submission by Mira, Erza, and Gray. Of course gramps did too by stepping on him; literally.

I heard Gray mention that Mystogan didn't want anyone to see his face, so I stood up and made my way to peer over the balcony and make my presence known.

"That's not true." I took a breath and caught something familiar, "Looks like there…" I heard Bix gasp.

I looked down to see her standing there. She's here. I heard Evergreen gasp too and Freed's subtle shift as he was shocked too. She smiled that damned sweet smile, the one that made my dragon roll over and purr in content. The dragon that was whimpering in excitement now that it's kin was here and safe.

"I'm home Lax." she said.

That was all it took. I didn't care that the entire guild was looking. I really wanted to hug her. However, Natsu just had to butt his way in.

"Laxus. You and me right now!" Natsu said.

I ignored him as I stared at her.

"Getting your butt kicked once today wasn't enough?" Gray questioned.

I grinned down at Natsu just to annoy the shit out of him, "Yeah pal. If you can't even win against the red head. Why bother with me?"

Erza glared at me, but I knew she was playing. Lucy had told me that she was off limits and so I respected that. Erza had a respect for me as well, we just didn't show it much when we were in the guild.

"What's that mean?" Natsu said.

"I'm saying that I'm one of the guilds Strongest wizards." I said. Oh I knew I would get my ass kicked by Gildarts. And my sister? Don't even get me started, she would kick my ass before I even got close thank you very much. I know when to be a cocky little shit and when not to be. I'm also smart enough that Natsu wouldn't pick up the fact that I said 'one of' not 'the'.

I was right as Natsu growled.

"Then come down here and prove it." he said.

I smirked at him, "You come to me little man."

Then before he even moved, Lucy had squished him like a bug with a kick.

"Second floor is off limits for you." she said before looking up at me.

Apparently, Evergreen couldn't control herself any longer and she went barreling down the steps. I watched as she tackled Lucy in a hug.

*Evergreen's POV*

Oh my sweet heavens. She's here. My sister's here. She's really here. I couldn't believe that she was really here up until I heard her say that the second floor is off limits for Natsu. I did not care that everyone was watching. All I cared about was that my sister was here. I ran down the stairs as fast as humanly possible and tackled her in a hug.

"Lucy." I whispered as I knew I was crying and I buried my head in her shoulder.

I felt her hug me and I smiled.

"Hello Eve." she said.

I tightened my grip and just stayed there. I was happy she was here. Then I felt Bixlow wrap his arms around us both as well.

"Hello Bixy. Babies." Lucy said.

"Lucy." Bix's totems echoed.

I backed off so that Bix could hug her properly. I knew that Lucy meant a lot to Bixlow as she was the one to save his life. Quite literally in fact. Freed came over and was being awkward. Lucy just grinned at him. She equipped a sword and raised it. Freed relaxed and raised his own and they tapped their swords together, making the ends glow. Freed smiled then.

"Hello Ms. Lucy. How have you been?" Freed asked as he sheathed his sword and bowed his head.

"Freed, I told you to not call me that. But otherwise, I'm doing just fine. Just one person left to say hi to." Lucy said.

I watched as she turned to Laxus, who was still on the second floor. Lucy walked up to him, took his hand, and dragged him into his rarely used office. Bixlow, Freed and I knew that Lucy was Laxus' kin. So we knew that Laxus would be alright. The boys and I made our way back up to the second floor.

"She came through on her promise." I said.

"Yeah. she did." Bixlow said.

I felt the static rise and knew Laxus was upset. The guild was quiet as Makarov bolted towards the room. It wasn't needed as the static dropped as quickly as it came.

*Laxus' POV*

I followed Lucy to the office that I rarely used and closed the door. Once we were away from prying eyes, I wrapped my arms around her and just held her close. I could smell her strawberry and vanilla shampoo and it was soothing. My iinner dragon rolled over and started purring. I could feel it in my chest the rumbling and I knew I was purring. I felt Lucy put her hand on my face.

"Hi." she said.

"Don't you disappear like that again." I said as I buried my nose into her hair.

She put a hand on my chest, "Don't worry, I won't if it's not necessary okay."

"What happened then?" I asked.

She told me her stories before and after she met me. I got pissed when she said she found the council had been experimenting with a lost magic. I could feel the static in the entire room rise and knew that the static outside the room rose as well. When I had lighting around me, I knew no one could touch me, yet I felt her hold my face in her hands. She didn't care.

"Laxus look at me. She's okay. I got her out. I know that story touches too close for comfort." she said.

I growled at that reminder, "I'm not my father, I'm not my grandfather. I'm Laxus." I said.

She gave me a light smack and my dragon whimpered. "Shh, I know. I know what he did to you. What's happening right now is that your magic is resisting. It's time to learn. I'll help you if you'll let me." she said.

I looked at her in shock, "You...you can help?"

I had been going crazy with this stupid lacrima. I've been way too irritable and I could feel my personality change. I didn't want it to but every time I felt my anger rise, I couldn't help but lash out.

She smiled softly, "Yes. You forget that I'm a Wolf Slayer and have earned the Lacrima. I've learned about the others, including dragon slayers."

I looked at her in the eyes, "I'll take you up on that."

She grinned wide, "Then brother, we begin training whenever you want."

*Makarov's POV*

I felt my grandson's magic spike and I ran to help Lucy. When I got there though, Laxus had a rare smile on his face as he held Lucy in his arms.

"What's going on here?" I asked.

"Just catching up." Lucy said.

Laxus let go and he just stared at me. Lucy walked out of the room and back down to the first floor. I watched as she left the guild.

"She's home Gramps." Laxus said softly.

"Yes, she is." I said, knowing that his relationship with her was solid and only sibling feels

"She's willing to help me Gramps." he said.

"That's wonderful." I said, knowing he is going to be fine, I sighed though, "Laxus, I hate to break it to you though. The council had sent in a job request for you and your team. It's a two month mission to find a rare item and bring it back safely. Unfortunately, the mission requires you to be there in about seven days and it's on the other side of Fiore. The problem is that it takes about three days just to get close before its a two day walk from the nearest train station to get to the start of the area."

He just growled, "Damnit old man. I need more turn around than just a mere two days. I know Evergreen has been wanting to spend time with Lucy, now that she's back."

"I know, I know. You had plans. Unfortunately, no one else can take it." I said. "As it specifically requested you and your team."

He just growled, "I'll tell my team, you send me the info I need."

I nodded and sent him the information to his lacrima. He stormed off towards his team before plopping down in a chair.

"Oi Mira, get me a beer." he yelled.

"Coming right up." Mira yelled back.

*Lucy's POV*

I headed home and while walking, I was thinking about the S-Class missions and seeing if Erza would like to take me on one. I finally made it home but I sensed that someone was in my apartment and Luna was growling. I then took a small sniff, and it reeked of fire dragon so I knew who was here. I went in.

"Welcome home." Natsu grunted.

He was doing pushups on my bed. I growled at him lowly, "What makes it right for you to come into my house unannounced?"

"Uh, we have to train in order to beat Laxus and Erza." Natsu said.

I grabbed his ear and he yelped.

"We gotta kick it up a notch if we wanna beat Laxus and Erza." Natsu whined.

I yanked it and he yelped again, "What do you really want?" I growled.

"I've made my decision. Our team is ready for the big time. S-Class." he grinned.

Happy, who was blissfully silent, held out a job sheet. From his subtle scent of fear, I knew it was Natsu's idea, not Happy's.

"Mind telling me how you got it without being spotted?" I asked but not really asking.

"I just went up and took it." Natsu said. "Since this is our first S-Class quest, we decided to go with the smallest reward we found on the board. But seven million is still a lot of jewels."

I growled low, "That's stealing Natsu. Plus if the master finds out you are in big trouble."

"Oh come on Lucy, you have to come with us! It's on a cursed island called Galuna Island." Natsu said.

I looked at Happy's face, Natsu's pleading one, and I took the job from Happy. The request was for the Cursed Island of Galuna. I saw the other reward for it, the key. Something was wrong so I knew I had to go. I knew that if Master sent Gray, Erza, or Laxus to stop us, they would know that I could handle myself.

I agreed, with my fingers crossed as I made the promise knowing that I wouldn't bind myself to such a stupid one and that the King would know too, and soon we were off. Though not before Laxus messaged me saying that he'll be on a mission and that he had to leave soon. I messaged him back saying to work on meditation and how to chanel his magic into his mouth. He sent back a pouty face. I sent him one that made him rethink it before just sighing. So I knew he would work on it during his mission. Freed would help him as he was the one who had the closest knowledge to the subject to me.

*Mira's POV*

I just walked up to check the S-Class board to check on the jobs. I was shocked that the Galuna Island one is missing. I had to let Master know.

"Master! I don't know what happened, but one of the S-Class requests is missing." I said.

I knew it wasn't Laxus or his crew since he had just gotten back from one and he was still here along with his team. It wasn't Erza as she was sitting down in the guild, happily eating her cake. It sure as hell wasn't me as I was obviously still here. Master spat his coffee out.

"What? One of the jobs from the second floor is missing?" Wakaba yelled.

"But the jobs up there are S-Class quests. Anyone know who took off with it?" Macao said.

"Well it's either someone really strong or really stupid." Laki said.

Evergreen piped up, "I know. Natsu ran up here and ripped it off the board. Probably didn't think that anyone saw him."

"It was Natsu?" I asked looking at her.

Evergreen shrugged.

"He must have stolen it for himselfand Lucy." someone said.

I relaxed at the fact that Lucy was going.

"That's crazy! What were they thinking?" someone asked.

"They've got some nerve taking on an S-Class quest." Alzack said.

"Oh it was probably Natsu's idea. It's not Lucy's style to just up and leave." Bisca said.

Master sighed, "This isn't good. Well, which job was it?"

"The Cursed Island of Galuna." I said.

"What?!" Master yelled.

"Galuna Island?"

"Are they insane?"

"Laxus. Go and fetch them at once!" Master yelled.

"Yeah right. Natsu's gotta learn his lesson." Laxus said. "Plus, I've got my own mission old man."

Funny, he didn't mention anything about Lucy.

"I don't care how you feel about Natsu! The fact is you're the only one strong enough to bring him back by force." Makarov yelled.

Gray stood up from the table, "Sorry Master. But I'm afraid I gotta disagree with you."

He left and I'm assuming to go get Natsu and Lucy.

"Hey Old Man. I wouldn't worry too much. They've got Lucy at their side after all." Laxus said once everything calmed down.

"Yeah, Lucy's got it handled. It was probably Natsu's idea anyway, since all he wants is to beat Laxus and Erza." Bisca said.

"Plus, Lucy's got a lot of spirits at her side. If anything goes wrong, she'll take care of it." I said.

Master looked at us as if we were crazy, "Why is that? Lucy's new here."

I glared at him, "That doesn't rule out the fact that she could have been traveling before now."

He sweatdropped, "Right. I forgot about that."

I just shook my head.

AN: And that's a wrap. What do y'all think about Laxus? I'm going to change the story in where Fantasia doesn't happen as Laxus has someone in the guild that his dragon will absolutely not let get hurt. I believe that Laxus was trying to help his family, just went about it the wrong way, or the only way he knew how. If he knew a different way to make the guild stronger, then he wouldn't have snapped. All he needed was a bit of love and someone to show him the light.

A side note, the lacrima driving Laxus crazy idea is from another fanfic with the idea. I can't remember what that fanfic is at the moment but that idea is not mine. What I'm going to do with it is, just not the topic.

Anywho, that's enough ranting. Peace out~Immortalshark
