A/N: Hello. :) Sorry it took long, but I finally got another chapter for "Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein" ready for you, and it'll focus on Frankenstein learning a thing or two about friendship like before in the original, but this time, with a few special guests alongside Amy and Talbot. Maybe you know them.

Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein

Chapter 6: If You Wanna Have Friends

The next morning, Alvin was awoken by loud snoring nearby.

"Theodore, you're snoring again…", Alvin spoke before trying to cover his ears with his pillow, although it didn't work out.

"Theodore, cut it out.", Alvin urged as he sat up before not only noticing Amy still sleeping on the carpet like a dog, although back in human form with a spare blanket over her, but also a suddenly big bump above Theodore with Alvin then checking out the reason for this and apparently noticing, much to his surprise, Frankenstein's monster, who is now asleep and holding onto the action figure of himself before Alvin put the covers back on and went to Simon, waking him up.

"Oh, Simon.", Alvin spoke while shaking him awake a little.

"Wh-what?", Simon asked as he woke up.

"Take a peek under Theodore's covers.", Alvin whispered.

"What?", Simon puzzled.

"Just do it.", Alvin urged whisperingly while handing Simon his glasses before the latter groaned and both went over to Theodore, although careful not to step on Amy, and then notice, much to his own surprise, Frankenstein's monster.

"Well? Wh-what do you see?", Alvin asked.

"You mean the… Monster?!", Simon asked, clearing his throat before Alvin nodded.

"But how? How did he…?", Simon began.

"I don't know, but we gotta save Theodore.", Alvin urged before then going for his baseball bat.

"Okay. You yank back the covers and I'll…", Alvin spoke as Simon yanked back the covers with the former preparing to whack him until the monster woke up and saw them, prompting Alvin to give the bat to Simon and wave nervously before both Amy and Theodore woke up.

"Wait! Don't hurt him! He's a good guy.", Theodore shouted.

"Yeah. He even came all this way to give Theodore his teddy back. No evil monster would do that.", Amy added before Alvin laughed nervously.

"Well, of course he did. We just wanted to know if You guys wanted to play… baseball.", Alvin responded.

"Really?", Amy asked with one of her eyebrows raised.

"Well, maybe after breakfast.", Theodore responded just before Dave called for the others.

"Fellas!", Dave shouted, making the others gasp upon realization that Dave could see the monster if he comes in.

"Eep!", Amy exclaimed.

"Guys, I gotta go.", Dave spoke before Amy closed the door on him.

"Hey!", Dave exclaimed.

"Sorry, Uncle Dave. But I need to get dressed for the day.", Amy responded, seeing as it is the case anyway.

"It's all right, Amy. Now, I'm gonna try and get you three that big premiere again. And don't go anywhere! Mr. Talbot will be here any minute! And Amy, if they do go anywhere, can you please keep an eye on them and make sure they come back before I do.", Dave responded.

"Uh, yeah. You got it, Uncle Dave.", Amy assured

"Phew.", Alvin and Simon sighed before the two then ran to the window with Theodore and Amy following before they all saw Dave driving away and sighed in relief again.

Later, the monster took a look at one of the pictures of Alvin behind a burning house and laughed slightly.

"I don't get it.", Alvin spoke, wearing a touque.

"Don't get what?", Amy asked.

"If he's such a big, lovable lug, then why was he trying to kill us?", Alvin asked.

"Perhaps he wasn't trying to kill us.", Simon responded, handing Alvin an egg.

"Hello! If he'd caught us last night, he'd have cracked our little bodies like this!", Alvin retorted while cracking an egg to make a point.

"Ever think maybe he only tried to do that because that doctor asked him to? The doctor wasn't exactly of sound mind.", Amy responded.

Meanwhile, the monster wanted to give a gentle tap at the record behind the glass, only to break said glass, making the monster gasp.

"Uh-oh.", the monster spoke before scampering off.

"Actually, I think Amy's right. He's got a really nice heart. He probably just acts like a monster 'cause everyone treats him like one.", Theodore responded as the monster then noticed some glass ornaments shaped like animals, especially a dolphin with a ball, but as soon as he tried to pick one of them up, given his inhuman strength, he wound up breaking it.

"Uh-oh.", the monster spoke before then trying to fix what he broke only for the ball on the dolphin to fall off and break, prompting him to scoop the pieces together before overhearing a voice form nearby.

"Can someone open this door?", Talbot asked, puzzling the monster.

"It's Talbot!", Amy exclaimed before she rushed over to the door.

"Mr. Talbot!", Alvin, Simon, and Theodore gasped before Amy opened it.

"Oh. Hi, there. So, I was told that you were on your way here.", Amy spoke.

"Yes, but apparently, I didn't come alone.", Talbot responded, gesturing to the chippettes heading there as well as they turned to the walkway leading to the front porch.

"Tell me again why we're going there?", Brittany asked.

"Well, they missed their show and I think they could use some cheering up.", Eleanor responded.

"She has a point. Besides, it's not like we'd run into a m…", Jeanette began before she and the others saw, much to their shock, the monster as it put the broken shards of glass into a drawer before Alvin walked in with pieces of toasts and eggs (although the shells were still there) before noticing that the chippettes saw him.

"Oh, no…", Simon sighed.

"Monster!", the chippettes shouted, puzzling the monster before he inadvertently pushed the desk and lamp away along with a couple of pictures, much to his dismay.

"Oh, it's okay. Accidents happen.", Theodore grinned in assurance before turning to the others.

"Anyone who's ever broken something, raise your hand.", Theodore responded while raising his before Amy and Simon raised theirs only to notice that Alvin wasn't raising his before Theodore, Simon, and Amy glared at him.

"Alvin.", the three glared.

"I can't say that I have.", Alvin responded.

"Alvin!", the three glared again.

"Okay, okay. Maybe once.", Alvin spoke as he raised his, inadvertently knocking the pieces of toast off the plate.

"Or twice.", Alvin added before laughing nervously.

"Okay. Just what is going on here?", Brittany asked.

"Well, the monster arrived here last night and gave Theodore his teddy back.", Amy responded.

"He did what?", Talbot spoke in surprise.

"Yeah. And now, we're trying to think of a way to get him to be good.", Amy added as the monster sighed.

"Poor guy. He really needs a friend.", Theodore spoke.

"And a tube of super glue.", Alvin added.

"I don't know about the super glue, but I do know where he can start.", Amy responded.

Later, Amy, Talbot, and the chipmunks, chippettes, and monster were close to the park as some children happily played along in the playground.

"Well, this seems like a good place to start.", Amy grinned before they walked in only for the monster to get noticed by some of the parkgoers, one of which fainted while the rest ran away as the child ran to his mother, who was doing a sort of crossword puzzle.

"Hmm… A 7-letter word meaning creature…", the mother spoke just as her child caught up to her.

"Monster!", the child shouted.

"Of course, thank you, Janie.", the mother thanked before drawing said word.

"Well, at least there isn't much of a panic…", Amy sighed.

"Well, you are right about one thing, Amy. This should be a perfect place for our first friendship lesson.", Alvin responded.

At that point, the monster noticed a girl playing with the toy bulldozer and grew excited before heading over there, wanting to check it out as he picked it up, but the girl got the wrong idea and started to cry.

"No! No, Frankie, it's hers!", Theodore urged.

"You called it Frankie?", Brittany puzzled.

"Well, he needed a name. Now, give it back, Frankie. Give it here.", Theodore spoke while having a brief struggle before the monster then let go with Theodore then turning to the girl.

"There you go. Sorry.", Theodore spoke to the girl as he gave the bulldozer toy back to the girl, who then looked up, saw the monster and grew weary before running off.

It was right then that the monster started to shed tears and sob, even banging his fists against the grass like a kid having a temper tantrum.

"What a tantrum. And I thought I was a diva.", Brittany commented.

"Okay. I think I know someone who needs a time out.", Theodore spoke.

"Something tells me that in all his time making experiments, the doctor never once taught him about sharing.", Talbot guessed.

"Oh, boy. He must be an only monster.", Alvin commented.

"Well, that's part of why we're here. And the sooner we teach him some things, the better he'll be.", Amy responded.

"That's a great idea.", Jeannette responded in agreement.

"Oh, brother…", Brittany sighed

Later, as the group were making sandcastles, the monster then noticed a swing set and went over there before then stopping the swing and getting the child off one of the swings and going on one himself, only to cause the set to bend, much to the other kid's chagrin before Amy, the chipmunks, and the chippettes to wag their finger at the monster, who then later broke through the jump rope and steppe don a football as the other kids ran before reaching a slide before getting a couple of kids out of the way (albeit gently) and climbing up, bending each step only to notice the chipmunks in his path, two of which presented a broken jump rope and flattened football before one of the kids later gave him half a cookie with the monster then noticing a Amy, Alvin, Simon, Theodore, Brittany, Jeannette, Eleanor, and of course, a little girl, whose arm was apparently hurt before the monster decided to do for her what the boy did for him, although he didn't quite get it right the first time before Talbot shook his head and the monster gave her the big piece and she then sat down with him and the three eat their cookie pieces as three other kids played leap frog nearby as a girl then held onto a pole in a playground area.

The Chipmunks:

If you wanna have friends

Don't go steppin' on their toes

Don't tie 'em to a tree

Kick 'em in the knee

Or sock 'em in the nose

If you wanna have friends

If you wanna have friends (if you wanna have friends)

There's some things you've gotta learn

Like how to keep your cool

Don't go actin' like a fool

Learn to take your turn

You've gotta learn to take your turn

And if things don't always go your way

Don't be a punk, man

Get with the program

The thing about buds that you need to know is true

It's two parts them and one part you

If you wanna be, then you've gotta be

If you wanna be, then you've gotta be

Then, as soon as the girl slid down and landed on her rump, the monster then helped her back up, much to her astonishment before then hugging him and waving goodbye before leaving as the monster waved back with a grin before Eleanor and Theodore ran to the monster with a grin and the monster happily spun them around as the rest caught up before they all went toward a slide nearby with the chipmunks and chippettes going first before Amy and then the monster, who gave a thumbs up before they all looked toward Talbot, who gave them a grinning nod before they all slid down with the children holding hands and running across before the others decided to join in only for the monster to lose his balance and trip to the ground and laugh as the children gathered around the monster with joy before later, the kid ran back to his parents not with horror, but with joy as they left, but not before waving to the monster, who waved back to them happily while on a seesaw with a few kids, Amy, Eleanor, and Jeannette included, in front of him on one side while Alvin, Simon, Theodore, and Brittany were on the other side with another pile before the monster then bent the swing set back to normal and waved to the kid on the swing set, handed the kid who just went down the slide a repaired football, and gave a couple of kids a fixed jump rope before then walking away hand-in-hand with Eleanor and Theodore before Alvin and the others came back with ice cream cones from a nearby ice cream cart.

Amy:

It's easy to be friends

If you wanna be

It's an easy thing to do

Then you've gotta be

The Chippettes:

When you're walking down the street

Treat everyone you meet

The way they ought to treat you

People come and people go

But friends can last for years

Now we've got each other, brother

We're the nine Chipmunksketeers!

Amy, the Chipmunks, and the Chippettes:

If you wanna, wanna, wanna, wanna, wanna be

Then you've gotta, gotta, gotta, gotta, gotta be

It's delightful having friends

It's the righteous way to be

Just take a look around

At all the friends you've found

Like him, and him,

Theodore:

and me!

Amy, the Chipmunks, and the Chippettes:

And when the party's over

And the daytime ends

We're still gonna be

'Cause we wanna be

You know we're gonna be

'Cause we wanna, wanna, wanna, wanna, wanna be friends

If you wanna be, then you've gotta be

If you wanna be, then you've gotta be

Friends!

A/N: Aw. Looks like the monster has come along way in learning friendship, huh? But with the mad doctor still out there looking for him, who knows what could happen? But for now, all is calm. Well, gotta get another story ready (one of them being a request from Misaki herself). Until next time. :)
