Sorry for the long wait.
Life stuff as well as focusing on my stories whose chapter's have been waiting release until this one.
Have to admit that this is not one of my best and a bit rushed, lacking in inspiration then what I started and at the end where there was to be a forth song but...I wanted it out of the way to pursue the other works I've been meaning to release until this was done.
Warnings ahead you may be disappointed with the story.
We will Rock you
"I thank you for coming back once again." That mysterious voice once again greeted the populous of Westeros as they entered into the cinema.
As they took their respective seats only this time with no food or drinks to keep them content, something that irritated the king and many others alike as they had to endure with being close to the people they can barely tolerate as it is.
As they all took their seats, the bodiless host spoke once more "Now I know you're all excited to know what I have for you. Well… it's going to be far more different than watching movies or playing games. But none the less it will be fun for you and entertaining for me."
"Well. What is it? What is it that we're doing now?" Asked Robb as he sat with his family, awaiting to know what it was that they were here for yet again.
"That all depends on how you feel towards music?"
"Bah! I get enough of listening to the bloody reins of Castermere and every dull tavern singer in the seven kingdoms!" scoffed the rough voice of the king himself who was about to scoff down both the beer he had in one hand, and the food in the other as he waited to see what great entertainments their host had for them.
He and many others like him had grown bored with the mundane and old ways they use to entertain themselves with. ever since coming here (Pulled here) they had grown to love the futuristic food, games and movies of the 20th and 21st century, Tourney's, music and what ever else they loved doing were now a thing of the past and boring.
In the hospitality of their host, they all lived like Kings without the woes and burdens of wearing the crown.
Their every desire's met without pause or limitations that they have yet to find other then murder and death.
"I can assure you that this is nothing to what you're used to. What all of you are about to hear is true music! One of the greatest pieces created by one of the greatest bands of the 20th century."
"Now for this, I am going to need you all to stand up." all at once before they knew, every single one of them found themselves standing up. Their chairs disappearing and leaving only large empty spaces on the slopped floor that descended down from the main doors to the level of the stage wall.
"Ladies and Gentlemen. I give you…..QUEEN!"
"Queen?" The name itself confounded the medieval people as to what group of musicians would name themselves after the title of a female monarch.
Four men came onto the stage with musical instruments in hand apart from the lead singer himself.
These weren't actors or stage improvs but the real life flesh and blood four man band.
John Deacon with his bass guitar.
Roger Taylor on the drums
Brian May the lead guitarist.
Finally the lead man himself. Freddie Mercury in the flesh.
These four men well known to many but to the people from the game of thrones universe they were just strangers.
Freddie mercury walked to the centre of the stage, at the very edge carrying the stand and microphone in his hands as he called into it "Good Evening Westeros!" his voice boomed all around them like thunder in their ears.
"Are you here for the time of your life!?" he asked out to all of them.
The whole majority of them were confused, unlike many of the movies and games they were keen to participate in, this one was entirely new and strange to them.
"Yeah!" a few cries went out from the enormous crowd of men and women as they continued to sit.
"Now that doesn't sound like the enthusiasm we want. But we can fix that, first let's all stand up." In a thunderous movement, everyone in the room found themselves standing to their feet before they knew it.
The chairs had disappeared leaving nothing but free space and down slop of free ground amongst the many men and woman who found they had nothing to sit on (Not that they could.).
"That's better. Now that we have your attention-" not that they could scream either as they found their protesting voices to be held within their throats as they tried to complain, scream and command, but no sounds were made. Only glares "it's time to teach you a few tricks to this song. Now when my Man Roger beats his drums." *DUM DUM! DUM DUM!* Roger hitting one of the drums with his stick, sending out a sound akin to the loud beat of heart to their ears.
"You are to all stomp your feet to the ground, in sync. Let's practice this first." *DUM DUM!* As Roger beat his drums, the people of Westeros found their legs to move of their own accord and landing their foots hard to the ground, creating a thunderous boom as their stomping mixed with the beat of the drums created a new sound that pounded the ground.
"That's it! Now that you've got the first step, here's the second. When you get to the 3rd beat-" *DUM DUM CHEECH! DUM DUM CHEECH!* Roger hitting one of the other drums in his set that made a different beat that was foreign and new to the ears of the Westeros.
"I want you all to clap to that third beat after stomping to the first two. Ready?" Roger began the tempo, the first two beats accompanied by the third in repeat, and the lords, ladies, knights, men, women and children all found themselves to be in sync as they stomped and clapped, stomped and clapped. The entire room aloud with the stomping pound of thunder in the hundreds, accompanied by claps to match in repeat.
Freddie smiled as he saw that his audience had now learned the tempo to his song that he will soon unleash for them. "That's it! Now then…LET ROCK!"
The blaring of feet and the clapping of hands thunder in unison as the people of Westeros found that they had become the instruments to this song they have yet to hear, some helpless to the movement of their own bodies while others simply allowed and freely took over with their feet stomping to the ground and they hands clapping on the third tempo.
"Buddy you're a boy make a big noise. Playin' in the street gonna be a big man some day! You got mud on yo' face. You big disgrace. Kickin' your can all over the place. Singin' WE WILL WE WILL ROCK YOU!" they sang high and loud like a chant "WE WILL WE WILL ROCK YOU!"
The stomping and the stop clapping did not nor deter from the thunderous tempo that continued as the westerosi now more intertwined and enthusiastic willingly took over or let their free limbs do it for them.
Freddie himself stomping across the stage with his pole and mic, his feet marching in tempo with his hands swigging his poles down in beat before jumping to the edge of the stage with his mic pressed close to his mouth "Buddy you're a young man, hard man. Shoutin' in the street gonna take on the wold some day. You got blood on yo' face. You big disgrace! Wavin' your banner all over the place singin."at this his voice was joined by over a hundred other voices now knowing the words "WE will we will Rock you!" the chorus of a thousand voices joined together sang out those 6 words out like a war cry accompanied by the thunderous tempo of their hands and feet "Singin' WE will we will rock you!" this was perhaps the next best thing the people of GOT universe got to enjoyable music that wasn't the dolled out same old melody being overly over used and boring.
But this new type of music. The strings on their elongated lutes brought forth such sound that was less soft and heavier, the beat of the drums was like thunder. Thunder turned into music that no one would have imagined to be possible.
"Buddy you're an old man poor man. Pleadin' with your eyes gonna make you some peace some day. You got Mud on your face. You big disgrace! Somebody better put you back into your place!"
The westerosi knew what came next "We will we will rock you!" their voices as one, shouting high and loud, the Lyrics natural to the tongues that sang them like a choir in a church.
"Singin' we will we will Rock you!"
*DUMDUM CHEECH! DUMDUM CHEECH!*
"Everybody, WE will we will rock you!" At the ending climax Brian went with the guitar solo.
His fingers pinched tightly against the pick that strum the thick cords of his instrument while his fingers held and pressed the strings to create the Hard grinding and yet melodic sounds to ever grace the ears of the Dark Age culture.
The repeated strumming of the hard strings made such ear piercing sounds that it completely destroyed the soft tunes of lutes the people from the Game of Thrones universe were used to.
And by the end wall was done, the only noise left were the cheering screams of the audience demanding for more.
The prominent demanding cry's being from Robert (Of Course) Rob, Jon and Theon, Jamie and his brother Tyrion. Dickon, Tormund Giantsbane,Ygritte and the rest of the wildings (Freefolk).
Hell for once even the grand prick of the seven kingdoms himself, Joffrey was also enjoying this new brand of music that revolutionised the dull and bore some lute and soft singings of tavern and court player's that never seemed to get newer unless someone died or there was a war.
-We are the champions.-
Now came the 2nd encore the Legendary band had for them, as miraculously a piano appeared not far from Freddy from himself who promptly took a seat and began to play on the otherwise unknown instrument to the medieval lords and ladies.
His fingers, each danced and pressed hard on the white keyed surface that delivered such notes of music none would have guessed or heard being played from anything else.
On its own the piano was its own solo play as with two hands, Freddy captivated the hearts and minds of the entire audience as he played with each hand that made its own sympathy of sound from light as a feather to a more deepened note like a resounding bell.
Freddy started softly, his finger's ever dancing gently to the keys as he sung with a softer tone "I've paid my dues."
"Time after time."
"I've done my sentence."
"But committed no crime."
And Bad mistakes.
I've made a few.
I've had my share of sand kicked in my face. But I've come through.
It was here that the rest of the band joined in, Roger beat his drums with his band mate's john and Brian keeping in sync like a beating heart beat as they sang in tandem.
(And I need to go on and on and on and on)
We are the champions, my friends!
Two strums and beats in time.
And we'll keep on fighting till the end.
The music took off in a symphony of drums and strings like thunder turned into music as the song went on.
We are the champions.
We are the champions.
No time for Losers.
Cause we are the champions.
Of the world.
The music restarted once more with Freddy playing alone as the blaring instruments of his bandmates was silence as his keys played the harmony and symphony that was its own heavenly melody.
I've taken my bows.
And my curtain call.
You brought me fame and fortune and everything that goes with it.
I thank you all.
But it's been no bed of roses.
No pleasure cruise.
I consider it a challenge before the whole human race.
And I ain't gonna lose.
And I need to go on and on and on and on.
We are the champions, my friends.
And we'll keep on fighting till the end.
Now in tandem the audience joined in as the next verse was clear and they all sang with high cheers and a conviction that came as the words roared out from their lips.
We are the champions.
No time for losers.
Cause we are the champions.
Of the world.
We are the champions, my friends.
And we'll keep on fighting till the end.
We are the champions.
We are the champions.
No time for losers.
Cause we are the champions….of the world!"
The song ended like a holy chant one would find in a scept at times of great prayer or days of memorial.
Whatever the case maybe. The lyrics of the song had a vitalising effect on the populous who felt their souls and emotions lifted high with memories of past victories long past and mostly forgotten resurfaced back in days of glory with equal if not greater satisfaction swelling within them.
But the festivities were not yet over, and despite how joyous and high spirited the lords and ladies of Westeros were feeling with the high level excitement that they expressed was at a level they felt could not go any further then it was now as they had stoop from the level of sophisticated elites into a raving crowd, sending cheering and screams as loud as they could.
Even the most dignified and self-controlled individual was not exempt from this.
However just as they felt that this could not get any better….they soon found out that it was not over.
-Don't stop me now-
Freddy began in a light tempo as the new song started.
A light chime rang from his piano like a ring of small bells as his fingers danced and pressed into many white and black keys before him.
Tonight I'm gonna have myself a real good time. I feel ali-I-ve!" he drawed out with his voice cooing out the words.
And the world, I'll turn it inside out yeah!
I'm floating around in ecstasy so don't stop me now
Don't Stop me 'Cause I'm having a good time! Having a Good time! Suddenly it all transformed, the rhythm speeding up into an upbeat and fast pace song that took the audience by storm.
I'm a shooting star leaping through the sky like a tiger
Defying the laws of gravity.
I'm a racing car passing by like lady Godiva
I'm gonna go, go, go there's no stopping me.
I'm burning through the sky yeah!
200 Degrees that's why they call me Mr. Fahrenheit!
I'm traveling at the speed of light I wanna make a supersonic man out of you!
(Don't stop me now) I'm having such a good time, I'm having a ball.
(Don't stop me now) Now if you wanna have a good time. Just give a call!
(Don't stop me now) 'Cos I'm having a good time.
(Don't stop me now) Yes, I'm having a good time I don't wanna stop at allll! Yes I'm a rocket ship on my way to mars on a collision course. I am a satellite I'm out of control; I'm a sex machine ready to reload like an atom bomb.
About to oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, explode! I'm burning through the sky, yeah!
200 degrees that's why they call me Mr. Fahrenheit!
I'm traveling at the speed of light I wanna make a supersonic woman of you!
(Don't stop me, Don't stop me, Don't stop me.) Hey, hey, hey!
(Don't stop me, don't stop me, Ooh, ooh, Ooh!) I like it!
(Don't stop me, don't stop me.) Have a good time, good time.
(Don't stop me, don't stop me) OOOOOOOOH! Alright!
After that the only sound to take over was the sound of Brian doing a guitar solo, his finger's working on the strings that created a scratchy yet rhythmic tune that the audience couldn't help but be enthralled in.
The electric buzz that was in the air as Brian took the song through a long play as the people of Westeros were assaulted by the continuous strumming of the Electric Guitar that screamed out such hyper electrifying notes that had the hairs on their necks and head feeling as though it was standing on end.
Never before would a Dark Age people think of ever hearing this kind of music in their lives.
And it had yet to end as the band got back in.
Oh, Burning through the sky, yeah!
200 degrees that's why they call me Mr. Fahrenheit! Hey.
Traveling at the speed of light I wanna make a supersonic man out of you! Hey, hey!
(Don't stop me now!) I'm having such a good time. I'm having a ball.
(Don't stop me now) If you wanna have a good time. Just give a call!
(Don't stop me now) 'Cos I'm having a good time.
(Don't stop me now) Yes, I'm having a good time I don't wanna stop at all!
As the closing climax was coming, the strong and heavy beat of the tune immediately stopped and returned back to soft and slow melody of the piano as Freddy mellowed on the closing tune as he played.
Ha da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da.
Ha da, da,ha, ha, ha.
Ha, da, da. Ha da, da, da, da. Hooh hoo
Cheer's and applause erupted from within the cinema room, and the Band of Queen took sincere bows to the great crowd of people that were beholden to the great sounds that would not be born in a thousand years to come when their bone's have turn to dust and their deeds forgotten.
"Thank You!" Freddie cried out to the crowd as he stood up and walked near the edge, his free hand pointing at them as his other grasped the mic close to his lips "You've been a wonderful Audience. Keep rocking on Westeros!" and before their very eyes, the four men that brought Rock and Roll to the hearts and minds of the dark age people suddenly vanished from the spot.
All equipment and instruments with them, leaving only an empty stage and many minds reeling with questions as where they went.
But none the less, they left the cinema room that day. Replaying their favourite songs either in their heads, or making sounds to the beat.
Finished.
