Chapter 7 : Missing
Bobby ' s Apartment
Bobby and Autumn walked into the apartment not long after leaving the Impact Zone , the two had grabbed supper on the way in as Autumn looked at Bobby who seemed frustrated .
" Bobby , are you okay ? " Autumn asked him after they had put their stuff up and sat down to eat .
" I ' m okay , babe , just frustrated at everything that happened today , with those people showing up , people doubting you , and just this Immortal issue still going on . " Bobby said with a little bit of stress in his voice .
" If we could get those people out of our hair it would be much better taking Immortal out , what if we made them mad enough to back off ? " Autumn asked .
" Convince your step-dad that you are not worth taking ? " Bobby asked .
" Or worth the effort it would take to kidnap me . " Autumn said .
" An idea for sure , hmm , " Bobby said thinking about it .
" Bobby ? " Autumn asked .
" We will talk this over with the others later , " Bobby said .
" Sounds like a good idea , " Autumn agreed as they finished supper .
The two went to the shower to calm down after the night of wrestling .
" The plan is coming together nicely . " Autumn said .
" Your plan ? " Bobby asked .
" Yes , my plan to deal with Kong . " Autumn with an evil grin .
" You ' re devious , " Bobby chuckled .
" Uh huh , it ' s kind of fun , " Autumn said satisfied .
" And sexy , " Bobby said kissing her a little rougher than usual .
" Bobby , " Autumn looked at him knowing that his frustration was behind that kiss as well .
" I ' m sorry if it ' s a little rough , but I need some relief . " Roode said looking into her eyes .
" Okay , just don ' t hurt me , " Autumn said .
" I won ' t , " He promised her as he kissed her again pressing her up against the shower wall .
" Are you sure about this ? " Autumn asked .
" Only if you are , " Bobby said .
" What if something happens ? " Autumn asked , both of them had been intimate within their relationship since she was still in her old apartment , but they had also been very careful with what they did .
" Are you afraid of something happening ? " Bobby asked curious .
" I - I , don ' t want to risk something bad happening , like it did with my mother , if , I ... " Autumn stopped wondering if she could do this with him and not have any problems .
" I promise everything will be okay , baby , and I will take care of you , " Bobby making her see that he was speaking the truth .
" Okay , then I ' m ready for what ever comes next , " Autumn finally giving in to what Bobby had in mind .
Bobby looked her in the eyes before going through with it , as the two had sex in the shower , flesh - to - flesh contact being made for the first time in their relationship . Autumn actually loved the feeling of it being just them with nothing else between the two and when he finally came into her , she let her eyes close feeling of what he gave her .
" Are you okay ? " Bobby asked her .
" Yeah , I ' m fine , I didn ' t mean to panic earlier . " Autumn said laying her head down on his shoulder .
" Any changes to what ' s normal frightens you , doesn ' t it ? " Bobby asked .
" A little , I ' m still learning to let go of that past life and seeing them makes a little bit of it come back to me at times . " Autumn explained .
" We will deal with them , I promise . " Bobby whispered in her ear .
After the shower the two went to the bed , continuing with the night of activities like they had been doing in the shower , but this time up under the cover . Any type of barrier between their flesh had been completely forgotten about now as the two enjoyed their love for each other .
" Damn , you are really pushing me to a new level , tonight , " Autumn breathing heavy after their second round of lovemaking that night .
" Yeah , and I ' m just getting my second wind in , too , babe , " Bobby said making Autumn look at him .
" How long does that second wind last , Enforcer ? " Autumn asked mounting him .
" About as long as it will take for you to explain to me why you are on top ? " Bobby asked her .
" You seem like you could use a break from the work , so , I ' m taking over . " Autumn said before she slid herself onto him .
" Autumn , " Bobby groaned .
" See , you like it when I ' m in control , " Autumn said pulling herself up and then sliding back down on him .
" Uh , you are being really bad right now baby , " Bobby teased her as he groaned as she gotten into a rhythm as she continued to ride him .
" Nah , I ' m not being bad , the Dark Angel just wants to play a little bit . " Autumn said .
" Dark Angel , " Bobby laughed .
Autumn soon had him in a state where speaking was impossible before Bobby was allowed to flip both of them over , finishing up their third round for the night before they were finally to the point where they were exhausted and needing sleep .
" I love you , Robert . " Autumn said snuggling up next to her man .
" I love you , too , my little Dark Angel . " Bobby said making her chuckle as sleep took her as she felt safe in his arms .
Next Day
The following day , Bobby was going to train with guys of Fortune while Traci came by to pick up Autumn to meet up with Jackie and Gail to do some wedding stuff with her girls .
" Wedding planning , huh ? " Traci asked .
" Since we had a day off , it seemed like a good idea . Bobby and I were doing some stuff already just to have it done since we are so busy right now . " Autumn said .
" The life of a professional wrestler is always busy , girly . " Traci said .
" Yeah , uhm , I have something I want to ask you . " Autumn said thinking about how close the two had become since her first days in TNA .
" What is it , Autumn ? " Traci curious as to what her friend wanted .
" Would you be in my wedding as my matron of honor ? " Autumn asked .
" Really , you want me ? " Traci asked .
" Yes , you are like a sister to me , Traci . " Autumn said .
" I would be honored , " Traci agreed .
No sooner had she gotten it out of her mouth when a giant truck plowed into the side of the car as they crossing an intersection going towards the mall .
" Ow , what the hell ? " Autumn groaned feeling dazed as she glanced at the side of the car as people approached that she recognized to be her step-dad and Ronnie .
" Autumn , " Traci groaned .
" Now , we ' ve got you , " Ronnie chuckled as they opened Autumn ' s door .
" You will pay for this , " Autumn growled .
" We ' ll see , " Bucky said as they pulled her from the car .
" Hey , leave her ... alone . " Traci close to passing out .
" You won ' t be much help , girl . " Ronnie said to Traci going to strike her .
" Don ' t , please don ' t hurt her . " Autumn cried out as her step-dad pulled her to the truck .
" Quiet brat , Ronnie leave the other one , we have Autumn . " Bucky said tying Autumn up before sticking her in the truck .
" Sure , " Ronnie said leaving Traci alone as she passed out and Bucky called an ambulance with a burn phone before tossing it on the ground .
" Let ' s go , " Bucky said as they left with Autumn who also passed out in the back of the truck from the stress of the wreck .
Tampa , FL
Fortune had been working out at the gym down in Tampa since Immortal still had the Orlando area under their influence including 3D Academy where they had trained in the past when Bully Ray was still trustworthy . Andrew and the Hot Shots had shown up soon after to work out as well since they all needed to be ready for Immortal .
" Somebody should really punch Bully in the face . " Chase said .
" Be my guest bro , " Storm said .
" We really need to get rid of the problem . " Daniels groaned as Frankie ' s phone rang making them look at Kaz .
" Hello , what happened ?! Yes , we will be there soon . " Kazarian said as his face went ghost white to pale in a matter of seconds .
" What happened ? " AJ asked .
" That was Sabin , Traci and Autumn ' s been in a car wreck , " Kazarian said as his hand began to tremble .
" What ?! " Bobby and Andrew both looked at him .
" Traci ' s at the hospital in Orlando , but Autumn ' s missing . " Frankie finished the message .
" Come on , we need to get to Orlando , now . " Storm said before panic could set in to everyone .
" Storm has a point , " Cassidy said .
The group cleaned up and went to the hospital in Orlando to check on Traci , as they arrived they saw Harris , the Machine Guns , Petey , EY , Gail , and Jackie .
" How ' s Traci ? " Kazarian asked .
" Broken arm and ribs , " Jackie said .
" Few bruises as well . " Gail added .
" Did anyone say what happened ? " Bobby asked trying not to panic at Autumn missing .
" They were on the way to the mall when a giant truck ran into them at the intersection before reach the mall , " Sabin said .
" Sting had the cops pull a security camera at the intersection . " Harris said .
" Autumn ' s step - dad and that creep with him did this . " EY said as the doctor stepped out of Traci ' s hospital room .
" Doc , can I see my wife ? " Kazarian asked .
" Yes , sir , just don ' t let her move around too much . " The doctor said before stepping away .
Frankie went into the hospital room where they could hear Traci crying as Bobby stepped to the door making Traci look at him .
" I couldn ' t do anything , " Traci said .
" We ' ll find her , " Bobby reassurred Traci .
" So , what is being done to find Autumn ? " Storm asked as Frankie kissed Traci on the forehead .
" Brett and Scott are dealing with the cops , Sting took Angle and Chyna to deal with Hogan , we sent Amazing Red to Christian , Devon , and Jeff Hardy , and Generation Me and Kendricks went to give a message to Jarrett and to keep an eye on things around the Impact Zone . " Petey said .
" Damn it , " Bobby kicked one of the trash cans in the hall .
" We ' ll find her , Bobby , but we all need cool heads here . " AJ said .
" I knew they were getting closer , I knew and I left her alone , the one thing I had been preventing happened because I wasn ' t there to keep an eye on her . " Bobby growled about ready to loose it .
" Robert Roode , chill out , " Scott D ' Amore said as he and Bret came back .
" Chill out , chill out , Autumn out there in the hands of two people who beat the crap out of her as a child , don ' t tell me to chill out . " Bobby ' s temper raising by the minute .
" We ' re aware kid and trust me when I say everything is being done to find her , but we need you to keep a cool head in order to help us get Autumn back . " Bret said to Bobby .
" I can ' t lose her , " Bobby said to Bret with tears in his eyes making the guys look at him .
" Kid , you ' re not losing anything , we will find her . " Bret said .
" Yes sir , " Bobby said stepping to the side as Sting , Kurt Angle , Chyna , Scott Steiner , and Jeff and Karen Jarrett showed up .
" Is this what you wanted ? " Andrew asked Jeff and Steiner .
" Keep your mouth shut kid , " Steiner said .
" My sister is being held hostage by those people and you are making demands of me , " Andrew had been silent since the call came in about the wreck and Autumn being missing , but with both Jarrett and Steiner in front of him , he couldn ' t contain his feelings anymore .
" I never wanted any of this for the two of you , Andrew , but things didn ' t go the way I planned . " Jarrett tried to explain to Andrew .
" The first thing you ever taught me was to never make excuses , so , stop with the excuses and find Autumn . " Andrew said .
" Kid , you need to calm down right now and think before you speak again like that to Jeff . " Karen warning Andrew .
" Shut up , Karen , " Traci called from within the room know longer caring about her job with Autumn missing .
" Traci , you are already on a tight leash , so , you need to watch what you say , " Karen warning Traci as well .
" You are either really , really brave or really , really stupid telling my wife to watch what she says , " Kazarian shaking his head .
" CAN WE ALL JUST SHUT UP ! " Bobby finally to his breaking point with his fiancée missing and all of them bickering back and forth instead of working to find her .
" Bobby , " Jarrett said .
" NO ! No , look you claim to be her godfather and care for her just as much as Bret claims to be her uncle and cares for her , but both of you left her in a hellhole with people who beat the crap out of her . It wasn ' t you two who went down and brought her out of that place , it was Fortune . It wasn ' t you who went and took her to D ' Amore and Petey so she could be trained to wrestle , it was me . And ever since she came to Impact , you beat her down , don ' t acknowledge her , and barely look at her . " Bobby giving Jarrett a piece of his mind .
" Bobby , you don ' t understand , " Jarrett said .
" I understand that the woman I love is missing right now , because Immortal hired the people that abused her to come and take her away . " Bobby said the tears coming back to his eyes .
" Sting , do you still have the security footage taken of the wreck ? " Shelley looking at Roode realizing that something needed to be done .
" I do , " Sting said .
" We could look over it to see where the evidence can lead us . " Shelley said as Sabin looked at his partner .
" I think this would be best left in the hands of the authorities . " Sting suggested .
" By then there ' s no telling what those creeps or Immortal may do to , Autumn . " Sabin said .
" Sabin , " D ' Amore started .
" We ' re not asking , " Shelley and Sabin both said .
" A sister is in trouble , one of our own in the locker room is missing and in trouble , so , don ' t think that we will just sit back and do nothing . " Shelley said .
" It ' s not the TNA way for us to ignore family . " Sabin added .
" Fine , we will let you two look into it , " Sting handing them a slip of paper with information on it .
" We will get to work . " Shelley said as they move off to a table in the nearby waiting area to work as Sabin brought out a computer to help them work through the problem , the two worked for awhile looking through pictures , videos , and information to figure out what happened and how to find Autumn .
" Bobby , " Storm pulled him into the room .
" James , don ' t start telling me to calm down , too . " Bobby said .
" I ' m not , you needed to step away from the stressful environment in there to prepare yourself . " Storm said .
" For what ? " Bobby asked .
" For when we find her , " Sabin said making the two look at him .
" Do you guys have anything ? " James asked .
" We have the video from the wreck , " Shelley said .
" Let ' s see it , " AJ said as he walked into the room with Daniels , Kazarian , Harris , Andrew , Petey , EY , and the Hot Shots .
" Okay , " Sabin said playing the video for them .
" The truck had a deer guard on it , " Chase said .
" Probably to prevent denting from running into Traci ' s car , " Storm added .
" Traci said that she didn ' t see them , " Kazarian said .
" Meaning they acted so quickly that she didn ' t have time to react or get away . " Daniels said .
" Would they take her back to that town ? " AJ asked .
" I don ' t know , but that would be the first place we would look , so , it doesn ' t seem like a good idea to take Autumn there . " Daniels said .
" May it would be the best place to look . " Harris said .
" What ? " Bobby asked looking at Harris .
" If they knew we would be looking for her and that you guys took from that town , why wouldn ' t they take her back there figuring that we would pass it off as a bad idea ? " Harris asked .
" Cat may have a point here , that town would be the last place we would suspect , so , they may feel more comfortable taking her there than somewhere else . " Daniels agreeing with the Wildcat .
" But , they wouldn ' t take her back to her step-dad ' s house or the hotel , " Kazarian said .
" What about the creep from the diner ? " Storm asked .
" Ronnie , " Bobby said thinking .
" Take her back to the last place we would expect , but still in a location we know nothing about . " AJ said .
" Which would give them an advantage , " Andrew said .
" They may have the location advantage , but we have wrestlers on our side . " Sabin said .
" He has a point , " Petey said .
" You guys may want to wait on those plans , " Sting walked in .
" Why would we do that when we could just go and rescue , Autumn ? " Bobby asked .
" Because a message was left for you from them at the Impact Zone , " Chyna said as Generation Me , Amazing Red , and Brian Kendricks came into the waiting room .
" This was left in Fortune ' s locker room . " Red handing a note to Bobby .
" What ? " AJ asked as Bobby read the note before reading it for the others .
" If anyone comes after us , we will harm her and the baby , we will leave her in a location and call you once we are gone . "
" Baby ? " The guys looked at Bobby whose mouth fell open .
