So many reviews! This is for all the people who reviewed. I specially tried to make this chapter longer.
"So, Andrea, what are you buying for Lizzy this year?" My friend Andrea and I were going Christmas shopping for our little siblings. Andrea had a little sister Lizzy and I had a little brother, Tom. Andrea replied: "Oh I dunno, probably a frock or some American Girl doll or something. What about you?"
''A nerf gun or a few packs of water balloons for the summer. Clothes, maybe." Then, Andrea's financial instinct kicked in. "let's strike a bet. If the store attendant suggests nerf guns or clothes or water balloons then I'll pay you 20 bucks. If they suggest frocks or dolls, you give me 20 bucks." I sighed. I was very used to Andrea's love for betting. –''deal.''
Then we reached 'Kids Christmas Gifts' store. It is an awesome store at the mall where there are Christmas gifts for kids under 16 only. Me and Andrea had always shopped for Lizzy and Tom from here.
The attendant who greeted us was wearing an ugly cute Christmas sweater. She had long, curly brown hair, hazel eyes that are like "14 carat gold," and dark skin. "Hello" she welcomed us. There was another girl standing next to her, with blonde, short crop hair and eyes so dark, they look blue. "what do you recommend getting for a 8 year old girl and 11 year old boy? '' Andrea asked. '' for the boy, nerf guns or Legos and for the girl, toy horses or glitter pens or Legos '' I stuck my tongue out at Andrea. This lady had mentioned 'nerf gun', which I had mentioned earlier. Andrea went and came with a basket with a note pad, some pens and a Barbie. I went to the Lego section and saw a really cool house set which was $11 under my budget so I bought that with some of Tom's favourite taffy.

The next day…
Whoa. I just learned I am the offspring of demigods. Hazel, Rachel and Jason explained it to me. Seriously weird. Suddenly, I have a new-found love for greek-mythology. So does Tom. I couldn't tell Andrea my grandad was Apollo and my granny was Demeter though. Life is weird. Watch out, because you might have the gods as your grandparents too. My parents didn't tell me.
Thanks for reading. So many reviews! I'm still in shock!
