(Author's Notes:

This is the final Snow White chapter. The next chapter will be an intermission, and the next one after that will be the start of movie #2.

For those asking, yes, I am planning on doing Team JNPR and Ozpin, as well as several other characters who aren't in my core group of reactors, including some villains and some minor characters.

And as always, thank you all for reading, following, favoriting, and reviewing my fanfic.)

CONTINUED FROM LAST CHAPTER

(Fade to the Dwarfs' cottage, morning. The animals are sleeping outside, but suddenly, a click awakens them. They all clear away from the door just as it opens and Doc steps out with Snow White as he and the other Dwarfs get ready to leave for another day of work at the mine.)

Doc: Now don't forget, my dear. The-the old Queen's a sly one, full of witchcraft. So beware of strangers.

"Good advice" Blake said.

"That goes against what my mom taught me" Jaune said. "But in this particular instance, I have to agree."

Snow White: Don't worry. I'll be alright.

"Famous last words" Nora said.

(Then Snow White gives him a kiss on his head.)

Snow White: See you tonight.

Doc: (giggling shyly) Yes. (regains his composure and clears his throat) Well, uh…c'mon, men.

Some of the girls giggled at this. "Seems Doc is becoming more like Bashful" Ren commented.

(Next is Bashful, who takes off his cap in anticipation of a kiss.)

"Speaking of Bashful…" Ruby said.

Bashful: Be awful careful, because if anything would happen to you, I…I…uh…

(But he doesn't get to finish his sentence, as Snow White gives him a kiss, which makes him blush.)

"This is really sweet" Pyrrha said.

"Yeah, it's making me sick" Yang said.

"That makes two of us" Grumpy Klein agreed.

Snow White: Goodbye.

Bashful: Oh, gosh! (chuckles)

"I'll have you know that I never act like that" Doc Klein said. Weiss then gave him a peck on the cheek, which makes him turn as red as Pyrrha's hair, and also made everyone else stare at her, dumbfounded.

"What?" Weiss asked. "He's like a father to me! More so than my biological father, actually."

"Why, um, thanks, um, Weiss, I uh, don't know what to say" Bashful Klein said.

(Meanwhile, Grumpy is watching from behind, still not fond of Snow White, especially her kisses.)

Grumpy: Hah, disgusting.

"Aww, you're just jealous you haven't gotten one yet" Nora said.

(The next to come is Sneezy, who also removes his cap.)

Sneezy: And be sure to watch out-

(A sneeze starts to brew in his nose.)

Sneezy: To wa-to wa-to wa- (sniffing) watch out!

"While it would be nice to know what to watch out for, just watching out in general is good advice" Jaune said.

(Snow White kisses him, stifling his sneeze a little.)

Sneezy: Thanks. Ah-ch…ah-ch-ch…ah-ch…ah-ch-ch-ch-ch…ah-choo!

(Dopey is next to come out, but gets blown back into the house by Sneezy's sneeze before Snow White can kiss him. She chuckles at this as the latter blushes. Suddenly, Dopey comes back out to try another kiss and Snow White gives it to him. He likes it so much, in fact, that he jumps in through the window and appears behind Sleepy.)

"Ooh, someone wants seconds" Yang teased.

Snow White: Well, alright, (kisses him) but that's the last-

(To her surprise, the mute Dwarf speeds off and appears again for another kiss.)

"And thirds!" Blake exclaimed.

Snow White: (pushes him along) Go on, run along.

"Denied!" Yang laughed.

(Last to come is Grumpy, who is in the house, shining his head. He puts his cap back on and starts for the door as the others sing their song.)

Dwarfs: (singing, minus Grumpy) Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it's off to work we go!

Once again, Ruby, Nora, and Happy Klein sang along.

Snow White: Goodbye!

(Grumpy clears his throat, trying to get the girl's attention.)

"I knew it! He was jealous!" Nora exclaimed proudly.

Snow White: Goodbye!

(Grumpy clears his throat harder and this gets her attention.)

Grumpy: Now I'm warning you. Don't let nobody or nothing in the house.

"His delivery could use a little work, but I do think he's warming up to her" Jaune said.

Snow White: (surprised) Why, Grumpy, you do care.

"Seems Snow White agrees with you" Pyrrha said.

(The Princess turns Grumpy around to kiss him like the others, but he does not take it as well as them and storms off. After a few steps, he decides it doesn't feel so bad and sighs contentedly. His gruff demeanor returns, however, as Snow White blows him a kiss and he storms off once again, only to get his nose caught in a tree.)

"Ouch" Ruby said, while a few others cringed.

Grumpy: Huh!

(He takes a few more steps, but falls into a small stream. He tries to get up, but hits his head on a bridge overhead. After getting up again, he trudges out onto the other side.)

"That would have given me a nice boost to my semblance" Yang noted.

"Hey Yang, have you ever noticed that things like that happen more often when Uncle Qrow is around?" Ruby asked.

Yang thought about it for a moment. "Huh. Now that you mention it, bad things do seem to happen a lot around Uncle Qrow. I wonder what that's about."

Snow White: (distant) Bye, Grumpy!

(Grumpy does not respond and simply trudges off, his shoes sloshing all over the road.)

"Please be safe, Snow White!" Ruby said.

(Fade to the Black Forest, near a small waterfall. The Queen is walking through en route to the Dwarfs' cottage. Along the road, she cackles to herself.)

Queen: The little men will be away, and she'll be alone...with a harmless old peddler woman. A harmless old peddler woman!

"She's so sure of herself" Jaune said.

(As she speaks, two vultures watch from above. The moment they hear someone's going to die, they grin and fly off after her, not caring who it is as long as they get something to make a meal of.)

(Fade to the Dwarfs' cottage, kitchen. Snow White is making the gooseberry pie she mentioned the night before, all the while singing her song again as she works.)

"Hmm, I wonder what gooseberry pie tastes like" Nora said.

Snow White: (sings) Someday my Prince will come,

Someday we'll meet again.

And away to his castle we'll go,

To be happy forever I know.

Someday when spring is here,

We'll find our love anew.

And the birds will sing

And wedding bells will ring,

Someday when my dreams come true!

"At least the reprise is in a more realistic setting" Yang said. "Lots of people sing while they're working alone."

"And how exactly do you know that, Yang?" Blake asked.

"Well I do it, so I just assume other people do it too" Yang answered.

"Sometimes I hear her in the next room" Ruby explained. "I have to put on headphones so my ears don't bleed."

"Hey, I never said I was a good singer" Yang said. "Although I think my sister is exaggerating a little bit."

(Suddenly, a shadow washes over her, frightening the animals away and Snow White gasps. There standing in front of her, is the Queen, disguised as an old peddler. The Queen chuckles at her soon-to-be-deceased stepdaughter.)

"Oh no! She's here!" Ruby cried.

"Watch out!" Nora yelled.

Queen: All alone, my pet?

Snow White: (nervous) Why…why, yes, I am, but-

Queen: The…the little men are not here?

"I think that's a given, since she already said she's all alone" Weiss said.

Snow White: No, they're not, but…

(Meanwhile, the Queen is still speaking to Snow White and sniffs the air.)

Queen: Making pies?

Snow White: Yes, gooseberry pie.

"Has she never heard of stranger danger?" Jaune asked.

"Didn't you tell me that strangers are friends you haven't met yet?" Ruby asked.

"Well, some people can tell which strangers are friendly and which ones aren't" Jaune replied. "Snow White clearly can't."

Queen: It's apple pies that makes the menfolk's mouths water. (takes out her basket of apples and shows her the red, poisoned apple) Pies made from apples like these.

(From the side of the house, the animals see the Queen offer Snow White the apple.)

Snow White: Oh, they do look delicious.

"Indeed they do" Weiss said.

"Weiss, don't tell me you would fall for that" Blake said.

"Of course not!" Weiss defended. "I was merely stating that they look good."

Queen: Yes, but wait 'til you taste one, dearie. (chuckles)

(However, the birds in another tree, see the vultures and chirp a plan to themselves.)

Queen: Like to try one, hmm? Go on. Go on, have a bite.

(But just as Snow White is about to take the apple, the birds attack the Queen.)

"Yes! Go birdies!" Ruby yelled.

"Peck out her eyes!" Nora cheered.

Snow White: (to the birds) Stop it, stop it! Go away, go away. Shame on you, frightening a poor old lady.

"Seems it is possible to be too nice" Pyrrha said.

(The Queen, recovering from her shock, bends down and picks up her apple.)

Queen: (shivering) Oh, I thought I lost it.

Snow White: There, there. I'm sorry.

"Are we sure Pyrrha isn't Snow White?" Yang joked.

"I don't apologize that much" Pyrrha defended.

"You apologized to me at least three separate times on initiation day" Jaune said.

(The Queen grins evilly, as she now has another idea.)

Queen: (feigning weakness) Oh! My heart! Oh, my…my poor heart. Take me into the house, and let me rest. A drink of water, please.

"She's totally gonna fall for that, isn't she?" Yang commented.

"Yep" Blake responded.

(Snow White takes the Queen into the house, still oblivious to her true intentions. The animals gather around the window concernedly. Then the Queen takes the apple out of her cloak and looks at the Princess intently as she preps some water.)

(The animals, knowing there's no time to lose, scurry off towards the woods, except for Mr. Turtle, who just plods along as usual.)

(Fade to the forest. The animals are running towards the mine, hoping to catch the Dwarfs before they begin work, unaware that they have reached it already. The turtle, of course, is bringing up the rear due to it not running as fast as the others.)

"Hurry. animals!" Ruby exclaimed.

Dwarfs: (singing) Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it's off to work we go.

Heigh-ho, heigh-ho!

No one was singing along this time.

(At this point, the animals have crossed the river by the mine and are almost there. Meanwhile, the Dwarfs load their tools into a cart. Doc, Sneezy, Grumpy, Happy and Bashful pull in front while Sneezy and Dopey bring up the rear. Suddenly, Doc stops short.)

Doc: Hey, look!

"Yes! They made it!" Ruby cheered.

"You're really getting into this, aren't you?" Weiss asked.

"Of course I am!" Ruby exclaimed. "I don't want anything happening to you!"

"You know I'm not really her, right?" Weiss asked.

"Yes I know that! I still don't want anything happening to you!" Ruby repeated. Weiss rolled her eyes and smiled.

(After Doc stops, the rest of the Dwarfs bump into him and fall to the ground, the cart clattering behind them. Eventually, the animals rush over the hilltop and try to get the Dwarfs to follow them, but they do not understand.)

Doc: Quit that! Get away from me, get away! Go ahead, shoo!

"No! Don't give up little critters!" Nora exclaimed.

Grumpy: (to some birds) Go ahead, get outta here!

(Five of the birds pull on Dopey's coat, but he shoos them away and falls down. This, however, does not stop the birds and they pull on him again.)

Doc: (as Mrs. Deer pushes him) What ails these crazy birds?

"They're trying to get your attention, you idiots!" Jaune exclaimed.

Bashful: (holding onto a tree as Mr. Deer tugs on him) Th-they've gone plumb daffy!

Sneezy: (as some birds, a squirrel and a rabbit pull on him) Yes, they've g-g-gone-ah-choo!

(His sneeze blows the squirrel and rabbit away, but not the birds.)

"Come on! Figure it out, dwarfs!" Yang yelled.

(Cut to the Dwarfs' cottage, interior. The Queen is speaking to Snow White after her little drink and now has a new idea on how to get her to taste the poisoned apple.)

Queen: And because you've been so good to poor old Granny, I'll share a secret with you. This is no ordinary apple. It's a magic wishing apple.

Snow White: A wishing apple?

"Oh come on! No one is that gullible!" Weiss exclaimed. "Not even Ruby!"

"I am not gullible!" Ruby defended.

"Remember the first day we met, when you actually believed me when I said I wanted to paint nails, try on clothes, and talk about boys with you?" Weiss asked.

"I think you do want to do those things with me!" Ruby replied. "You just won't admit it."

Queen: Yes! One bite and all your dreams will come true.

Snow White: Really?

"Come to think of it, Weiss, she is starting to sound like Ruby" Yang said.

"You guys are mean" Ruby said.

Queen: Yes, girlie.

(As she says these words, she walks toward Snow White with the hand holding the apple extended towards her.)

Queen: Now, make a wish and take a bite.

"No! Don't do it!" Nora cried.

(Cut to the mine. The animals are still trying to get the confused Dwarfs to follow them, with little success)

Happy: Go on, get!

Bashful: These pesky critters won't stop!

"Have you considered there might be a reason for their behavior?" Pyrrha asked.

"Yes! Thank you!" Jaune said.

Doc: Ain't natural, there's something wrong!

Grumpy: They ain't acting this fashion for nothing!

Sleepy: (yawning voice) Maybe the old Queen's, uh, got Snow White.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. "At least someone figured it out" Yang said.

"To be fair, you have to remember that they don't know what we know" Blake said.

Doc: (realizing) The Queen!

Dwarfs: (also realizing, in unison) Snow White!

"Took you guys long enough. Now hurry!" Jaune yelled.

Grumpy: (worried, which is surprising coming him) The Queen'll kill her! We gotta save her!

Doc: Yes! Yes! Uh, w-w-we gotta save her!

"Yes! Now go! There's no time to lose!" Ruby exclaimed.

Sneezy: She'll kill her!

Happy: What'll we do?

Doc: Yes, yes, what'll we do?

Grumpy: C'mon! (mounts Mr. Deer) Giddap!

"Grumpy! He does have a heart!" Nora cheered.

"And good thinking, riding on the deer" Jaune noted.

(Bashful and Sneezy mount another male deer with the latter hanging onto its tail. Happy is having trouble getting on another deer until the birds help him on, albeit backwards. Then Doc runs after them.)

Doc: Wait for me! Wait for-

(Another one of the deer lifts Doc onto its back. Lastly of course, Dopey, who is hanging onto a deer's tail while trying to mount it. Also unsurprisingly, Mr. Turtle is almost to the mine as the others pass him and run like thunder towards the cottage, hoping to save Snow White in time.)

"Too bad semblances aren't a thing in this story" Ruby said. "A speed semblance like mine would be really useful right now."

"You got that right" Yang said.

(Cut to the Dwarfs' cottage, interior. The Queen is advancing towards Snow White, still trying to goad the Princess into eating the tainted apple.)

Queen: There must be something your little heart desires. Maybe there's someone you love.

"Of course you know that! You saw them together!" Pyrrha said.

Snow White: (frightened and backed into a corner) Well, there is someone.

Queen: I thought so. I thought so! (chuckles) Old Granny knows a young girl's heart. (hands Snow White the apple) Now take the apple, dearie, and make a wish.

"Please, Snow White! Think before you act!" Jaune exclaimed.

Snow White: (closing her eyes) I wish…I wish…

Queen: That's it, go on! Go on.

(Meanwhile, the Dwarfs ride as fast as they can to the cottage across the log bridge, down a cliff and over a crevice.)

"Oh no! They're not gonna make it in time!" Ruby cried.

"Faster!" Nora yelled.

Snow White: …and that he will carry me away to his castle, where we will live happily ever after.

Queen: Fine, fine! Now take a bite.

"No! Don't do it!" Weiss yelled.

"I don't think she's even considered that she might be in danger" Ren said.

(Meanwhile, the Dwarfs are still riding as fast as they can.)

Queen: (from inside) Don't let the wish grow cold!

(Dark clouds slowly begin to appear in the heavens just as Snow White takes a bite out of the apple. Suddenly, she begins to feel woozy as the spell takes effect.)

"She ate it!" Ruby cried.

"Please don't work!" Weiss exclaimed

Snow White: Oh, I feel strange.

"The poison is working!" Blake said.

"What can she do?" Yang asked.

"Nothing" Weiss said sadly. "Someone's going to have to save her."

Queen: (to herself) Her breath will steal. Her blood congeal.

(Snow White takes a few short breaths before eventually collapsing to the floor. The Queen cackles triumphantly, and it starts to storm.)

Several people yelled "No!"

"She… she was just a child!" Nora cried.

"Even younger than me!" Ruby exclaimed.

Queen: Now I'll be fairest in the land! (cackling)

"How can anyone be so evil?" Jaune said.

"It's sad, Mr. Arc, but there are indeed a misguided few who have filled their hearts with malice" Ozpin said.

"That's why we're here" Ruby said. "To make sure people like that don't hurt anyone!"

(Suddenly, the Queen looks to see the Dwarfs riding on the animals toward her.)

Dwarfs: Hurry up, hurry up!

"Come on Dwarfs! Catch her!" Pyrrha said.

(Fearing for her life, the Queen runs away from the cottage just as her pursuers get there.)

"Coward!" Jaune yelled.

Grumpy: There she goes!

(The animals and their riders take off with the Queen, oblivious to Snow White's condition. The vultures, now sure that the wicked Queen is the soon-to-be-dead carcass they will feast on, fly after her as well. Meanwhile, the Queen is still running as fast as she can, the pouring rain, gusting wind and tangling vines from the trees slowing her down. Soon she reaches a high rocky cliff and climbs up, sure that the Dwarfs will not follow her.)

Grumpy: After her!

"Go Grumpy! He really does care!" Nora cried.

(The Dwarfs climb up after the Queen, who is halfway up the cliff as she turns to see her pursuers. They are not looking very happy as they get closer to her. Without a moment's hesitation, she advances on towards the top with the Dwarfs gaining on her. Eventually, she gets to the peak and suddenly finds herself at the edge of the cliff.)

"She's trapped! Now's your chance!" Weiss exclaimed.

Queen: (gasping) I'm trapped! What will I do? The meddling little fools!

(As she speaks, the vultures perch on a branch above her and grin, knowing that her falling off the cliff will mean certain death. The Dwarfs are almost to her as she picks up a long stick and lodges it under a boulder large enough to crush them all. She pushes on it.)

"Be careful!" Yang shouted.

Queen: I'll fix ya! I'll crush your bones!

(They get to her just as the boulder's about to come down.)

Grumpy: Watch out!

"Please be okay!" Blake said.

(The Queen cackles triumphantly one last time, confident she'll finish off the Dwarfs, but suddenly, a bolt of lightning almost misses her and causes the rock to crumble underneath her. As she falls to her death, shrieking, the boulder leans the other way and falls with her. The vultures watch her fall and grin once more, knowing they finally have a dead body to devour. The Dwarfs, however, look on with astonishment and find almost no trace of her in the deep, dark abyss. Then the vultures fly down to find the Queen's remains.)

Everyone looked on, astonished. "Wow, that was intense!" Ruby said.

"I was on the edge of my seat!" Yang exclaimed.

"I think we all were" Ren said.

"We can gush about the action later!" Weiss said. "Now we need to worry about Snow White!"

"Oh gosh, you're right!" Jaune exclaimed.

"I really hope she'll be okay" Pyrrha said.

(Fade to the Dwarfs' cottage, interior. A pipe organ plays in the background as everyone mourns the supposed loss of Snow White. The Dwarfs all have their hats in their hands and tears in their eyes. Grumpy tries to hold it in, but can't keep from weeping, as he now regrets his mistreatment of her. Doc is consoling Dopey, who is sobbing on his shoulder. Outside, the animals watch the funeral scene from the window. Mrs. and Mr. Deer bow their heads as the rain continues to fall.)

"This is so sad" Jaune said.

"They weren't able to save her" Ren said.

"This is an important lesson, students" Ozpin said. "Sometimes even your very best efforts aren't enough to save people."

(Onscreen text reads "...so beautiful, even in death, that the dwarfs could not find it in their hearts to bury her…")

("...they fashioned a coffin of glass and gold, and kept eternal vigil at her side…")

("...the Prince, who had searched far and wide, heard of the maiden who slept in the glass coffin.")

"That is a very beautiful coffin" Pyrrha said.

"Yes, it is beautiful, but it's still a coffin" Weiss replied.

Prince: (voice-over, sings) One song, I have but one song.

(Fade to a secluded glade containing the coffin in which the seemingly deceased Princess rests. A beam of sunlight shines down on her as flower petals rain from above. Mrs. Deer and Junior, as well as the rest of the animals lay flowers at her bedside.)

"It's so heartwarming to see everyone paying their respects to her" Ruby said.

Prince: (singing) One song, only for you.

One heart tenderly beating.

"So the Prince found her Princess, but it's too late" Blake said.

"Maybe not! Maybe he really is her true love!" Pyrrha reminded her.

"Yeah! Give her a big smooch!" Nora said.

"Oh, gosh!" Bashful Klein said, blushing.

(Soon the Dwarfs come in, also carrying flowers and laying them at her bedside.)

Prince: (singing) Ever entreating, constant and true.

(Then Doc and Happy lift the cover off the coffin, and Grumpy places the flowers in her hands. Everyone bows to her.)

"I hope this works" Ruby said.

"Me too, sis" Yang replied.

Prince: (singing) One love that has possessed me,

One love thrilling me through.

(Suddenly, the Prince appears and sings the last verse of his song as he proceeds towards the glade.)

"I love his song! I hope the lyrics reflect his true feelings for her" Weiss said.

Prince: (singing) One song, my heart keeps singing.

Of one love, only for you!

(Meanwhile, everyone looks up and sees the Prince. He goes over to Snow White and leans in for a kiss. After this, he bows at her bedside and everyone else bows their heads as well. Suddenly, as if by magic, the Princess's eyes flutter and she slowly stirs awake.)

"Yes! It worked!" Ruby cheered, giving Weiss a hug.

"Get off me you dolt!" Weiss complained, though she was also smiling.

"I'm so happy she's okay!" Happy Klein said.

"Hold on. How did he know he needed to kiss her?" Yang asked.

"I don't know. Maybe he didn't. Maybe he just wanted to kiss her, and she woke up through sheer dumb luck" Blake answered.

"Eh, works for me" Yang said.

Chorus: And away to his castle you'll go,

To be happy forever we know.

(Everyone else around Snow White looks up and their faces brighten, even Grumpy's. The Princess looks around to see the Prince before her. He picks up his now bride-to-be and carries her out. Everyone rejoices at the Princess's resurrection and dances wildly about.)

"This calls for a celebration!" Nora shouted.

"At least wait until the movie is over" Ren said.

(The Prince carries Snow White out of the glade with our heroes following them. Soon, they get to his horse and he puts her on its back.)

"He's such a gentleman!" Weiss said.

"Just like Jaune!" Pyrrha said, making Jaune blush.

Snow White: (kissing Bashful, who blushes) Goodbye.

(Grumpy takes off his hat and she kisses him to show her forgiveness.)

Snow White: Goodbye, Grumpy. (to Happy, Doc and Sneezy) Goodbye.

"I hope she goes back to visit them someday" Ruby said.

"I believe she will" Ren responded.

(The last to come is Dopey)

Snow White: Oh, Dopey. (to everyone) Goodbye!

"Goodbye!" Nora shouted.

(With that said, the soon-to-be couple rides off into the woods towards the Prince's castle in the distance. Now that the wicked Queen is gone for good, Snow White grins, knowing her dreams of happiness have finally come true.)

"She got her fairy tale ending. Good for her" Blake said.

"I know it's unrealistic to expect such a thing, but it can't hurt to try for it" Ruby said.

"Well said, little sis" Yang said.

Chorus: (sings) Someday when spring is here,

We'll find our love anew.

And the birds will sing,

And wedding bells will ring.

(The storybook from the beginning is shown again. It reads "...and they lived happily ever after.")

"I'm glad she found happiness" Pyrrha said.

"Me too" Jaune agreed.

"Me three" Happy Klein said.

Chorus: (singing) Someday when my dreams come true!

(The book closes.)

(A WALT DISNEY FEATURE Production)

The movie ended to many cheers. It took a few minutes for everyone to calm down.

So, what did you all think?

"I, for one, thought it was pretty good overall" Weiss said. "There were a few moments where I had to suspend my disbelief a bit too much, and a few songs that I didn't much care for, but I did like all of the characters, and the story wasn't bad either."

"I thought the visuals were incredible, especially considering they were all drawn by hand" Blake said.

"Don't forget the singing and voice acting!" Ruby said. "It was also really good."

"Klein, what did you think?" Yang asked.

"I thoroughly enjoyed it" Doc Klein answered. "It reminded me of the times I would take Miss Schnee and her siblings to the cinema when they were younger."

"Did you like seeing all your personalities as completely separate people?" Ren asked.

"That was an unusual experience, but I didn't mind it" Doc Klein answered.

"It was interesting seeing how Weiss and Klein tie in to their characters in the movie" Jaune said.

"Let's see… Weiss has her name, her apple necklace, and her song "Mirror Mirror" Pyrrha said.

"Ooh! And Klein has his name and his personalities" Nora chimed in.

"I'm not sure how I feel about wearing something that represents the instrument of my almost-death around my neck" Weiss said.

"Well, you can view it as a reminder" Blake said. "A reminder to be careful when presented with a gift from a stranger. It's probably safe, but you never know for sure."

"Wise words, Miss Belladonna" Ozpin said.

"What did you think of the movie, Professor?" Ruby asked.

"I thought it was an excellent bit of story telling" Ozpin answered. "In some ways, it reminds me of the fairy tales of our own world."

Would you like to hear some of the changes between this and the original fairy tale?"

"Yes, please. That would be most interesting" Ozpin said.

First, Snow White's birth mother died during childbirth in the original. She wasn't mentioned at all in the film.

That quickly brought the mood down. Ruby in particular was hit hard by this.

In the original, the Huntsman was ordered to cut out Snow White's lungs and liver, rather than her heart. When he gave her a boar's lungs and liver, claiming they belonged to Snow White, she cooked and ate them.

Several people felt quite queasy after hearing that. Nora had to run to the bathroom; thankfully, she made it in time.

In the original, the Dwarfs' house is described as being "neat and clean".

"Huh. I wonder why that was changed so drastically" Weiss said.

"Maybe they needed an excuse to include their 'Whistle While You Work' song" Blake suggested.

In the original, the Queen came to the Dwarfs' house in disguise to kill Snow White three separate times. The poisoned apple was the third attempt.

"What were the first two?" Jaune asked.

The first was a bodice that the Queen, disguised as an old peddler woman, laced up so tightly that Snow White couldn't breathe. The Dwarfs cut the lacing, allowing Snow White to slowly come back to life.

"That's why I never let anyone else lace up my corset" Ruby said. "Especially not Yang. She always makes it too tight."

"Why do you wear a corset, Ruby?" Weiss asked.

"I think it looks cool" Ruby answered.

The second was a poisoned comb that the Queen, disguised as a different old woman, used to make Snow White fall unconscious. The Dwarfs removed the comb, which revived Snow White.

"Yang would definitely fall for that one" Blake teased.

"You're lucky I like you" Yang responded.

The poisoned apple is described as being half red and half white, and so craftily made that only the red half was poisoned. The Queen, disguised as a peasant woman, cut the apple in two, eating the white half herself and giving Snow White the red half.

"I think anyone would fall for that" Jaune said.

"I agree" Pyrrha said.

In the original, the Prince didn't meet Snow White for the first time until she was in her glass coffin. Their meeting at the beginning of the movie wasn't part of the original fairy tale.

"I think that early meeting was a good change" Blake said.

"Indeed. Having the Prince fall in love with a corpse is… problematic, to say the least" Weiss agreed.

In the original, there was no "true love's kiss". The Prince had his servants carry Snow White in her coffin to his castle. On the way, one of them tripped, which dislodged the piece of poisoned apple from her throat, reviving her.

"In this case, I prefer the original" Ruby said.

In the original, the Queen went to the Prince and Snow White's wedding. While there, she was forced to wear iron shoes that had been placed in burning coals, and dance until she dropped dead.

Everyone was rendered speechless at this. "Wow, that's… um…" Jaune started.

"Awesome!" Nora finished.

Everyone looked at Nora, questioning her sanity. "'Disturbing' is the word I would have chosen" Weiss said.

"I agree with Weiss" Yang said. "That felt strange to say."

Well, that about covers it. Feel free to spend some more time with Klein, before I send him back and prepare for the next movie. Just let me know when you're ready.

After an awkward silence, Weiss spoke up. "Would everyone mind staying in here for a few more minutes? I have a surprise for all of you."
