Everyone was in a major panic as they watched Hexxus getting closer to Ferngully once more.
Budgie and Zak listened as the other fairies argued over what to do and how to stop the evil smog spirit from destroying everything.
Crysta knew that if she made a tree grow inside of Hexxus like she did last time, then he'd be imprisoned again and forced to sleep once more.
Pips on the other hand didn't want Crysta to take the risk just in case the evil entity made sure that she'd be gone for real this time around.
"Maybe we should all leave?" Batty suggested, everyone looked at him. "NO!" Zak shouted as he startled the others, they all turned to face Zak.
"We can't leave and let the forest die." Zak told them, Budgie kept watch as she searched for a sign of weakness on Hexxus but couldn't find one.
Budgie listened as Zak gave some speech to their friends about not backing down but instead they should work together in order to save everything.
Everyone was unsure if they really could stop Hexxus as they've never known how to fight back against him unlike Magi Lune and Crysta both had done.
Budgie then sensed a presence of an old friend so she looked around until she spotted Magi. "Believe and you can save Ferngully." Magi Lune told Budgie.
Hearing both Magi and Zak say the same thing made Budgie smile brightly as she heard Bark. "But how can we fight him?" Bark asked Zak nervously.
Budgie turned to him as she smiled. "We just need to believe." Budgie spoke up with a sweet smile as she thought about what Zak and Magi Lune told her.
All eyes were on her now. "Believe? What do ya mean?" Root asked her, Budgie started to fly. "If we believe, great things will happen." Budgie replied to him.
Everyone watched Budgie fly higher and higher as the forest started to make more music which calmed them all down since the music was very beautiful to hear.
As the music started to swell, the others fairies and their animal friends started to follow Budgie as they began to glow while she led them to face Hexxus head on.

The fairies bright glow forced Hexxus to stop in his tracks. "What? No! You can't stop me!" Hexxus bellowed angrily, the fairies disagreed as they flew around him and worked together to grow another tree.
With the power belief and friendship on their side, the fairies and their animal friends not only put the evil smog spirit back into a tree but also hid the tree far, far away from where any humans would find it.
Once the tree vanished, everyone landed on the ground to catch their breath. "That was amazing!" Crysta said with a laugh, she looked at Zak and Budgie who were leaning on each other before they laid down.
"W-we really did it, didn't we?" Zak asked her, Crysta nodded happily. "We did good." Stump said with a smirk, Budgie laughed fondly. "We did better then good Stump." Pips responded with his own smirk.
Batty and the other animals were surprised that they had been able to help stop Hexxus but were overall happy. "Guess this means we can help the forest grow." Nugget said to his friends Bandy and Wal.
"Looks like." Wal replied with a smile, Bandy hugged her friends. "We just had to believe." Bandy chimed in, everyone laughed together as they had helped saved their home by working together once more.
However, the forest was a wreck thanks to Hexxus making a path to Ferngully while destroying the flowers and trees as he had made his way over and this made everyone a little sad to see their home like this.
"Now what do we do?" Knotty asked Pips, he and the other fairies smiled. "We help the forest grow again and then we can celebrate." Pips replied to Knotty, everyone cheered as they decided to split into teams.
While everyone worked to regrow the forest, Magi Lune smiled as she watched them all work together before she vanished for a little while since she decided to make an appearance at the celebration later on.
