"So fill me on what I've been missing babe. How are the kids? You had them last weekend right, that still went ahead?". Maggie was running her fingertips along the skin on Jubal's arm while talking to him, her hand making it's way to his chest.

"The kids are doing great, they really missed you not being here, actually remind me to show you in the morning, they left you something here. Jen and Ben came and stayed here as well so our home was full of noise."

"I can't wait to see it, I love everything from them. I thought about what you three would be doing so much over the weekend." Hearing that Jen had come to stay was all that Maggie needed to hear to know that Jubal had been really struggling "You're taking care of yourself though right? Attending meetings if you need to? Talking to Jen?"

Jubal smiled hearing Maggie's question, she was the one on an undercover assignment, laying in their bed with badly bruised ribs yet she was still worried about him. "I promise it's not the drinking baby, I am talking to Jen, Isobel checks in, Ian even offered to be there at work if I need. I wasn't getting a lot of sleep so Jen thought being here with the kids and her and Ben would help me with that and she was right. I caught up on my sleep at the weekend."

"I'm so glad that you have them babe, I don't want you trying to struggle through this on your own not when you are surrounded by good people that really care about you."

"I just worry about you baby, you are in there on your own, not like you have someone to talk to and I'm really not trusting this Nestor guy. Yeah I know you say he couldn't step in but still.. you are my girlfriend I am going to be pissed when I see what has happened you. Hell OA would be just as pissed if he were to see your injuries right now."

"Hey I'm not in there on my own" she moved her t-shirt to show that she still had the chain on that he bought her "I haven't taken this off once and I have the images in my head of you and the kids to help me through the tougher moments. I'm also being as careful as I can be. I know that you and OA aren't there to watch my back, I know it's different so I'm being extra careful. I promise babe."

"You know you are missed so much in the JOC and not just by me, by me the most but the other's are really missing you too. I was so caught up in things this morning that I told OA to grab you and head out to question a guy. He stood looking at me like I had gone crazy."

"I miss the team so much, things are definitely a lot quieter without OA and Kristen constantly talking" She chuckled softly "But I miss getting to watch you in the JOC, playing with your pencil, putting it behind your ear" her fingertips brushed his ear gently "Watching your mind at work, how you stand a little taller when you have an idea." Her fingertips travelled along his cheek "the way you tap your belt with your fingers. I really miss though when you would find ways to remind me at work of just how sweet and loving my man is. Sneaking up behind me in the break room or taking me up on to the roof."

Jubal couldn't move as he lay listening to Maggie, it still amazed him how much attention she paid to him when they were in the JOC. Everything that she had just said described his actions perfectly in the JOC including stealing moments with her. The minute that Maggie finished talking he gently pulled her a little closer to him as he let his lips brush against hers, nipping lightly at her lip, smiling when he heard the soft moan escape from Maggie's lips. This just had him running his tongue along her lower lip before passing through her lips to meet her tongue, tasting her, really tasting her properly for the first time in two weeks.

Maggie moved the frozen peas from her side, setting them behind her thankful they landed on the beside table as she moved as close as humanly possible to Jubal. She didn't give him a chance to break the kiss, running her hand along his back slowly, she finally broke the kiss herself letting out a low sound of frustration. Jubal raised an eyebrow as he tired to calm his breathing and his body down.

"Everything okay baby?"

"No.. I love your t-shirt but right now it's stopping me from feeling you completely"

Jubal took the hem of her T-shirt and gently lifted it off over her head, taking his time so that there was no sudden movements to cause any more pain to her ribs. He threw his t-shirt to the end of the bed and wrapped his arms around Maggie but she moved even closer so that they could feel their skin against each other, which made Jubal let out a low moan. Maggie kissed along his collarbone up to his ear and whispered in his ear.

"Make love to me Jubal."

He pulled his head back a little when he heard her words "Mags, baby, your ribs."

She shook her head "If they cause too much discomfort I promise that I will tell you."

Jubal looked into his favourite brown eyes and he knew that she would honestly tell him if it was too much, that was all he needed to hear and see. He had missed her more than words could explain, so now he was going to try and show her just how much he had missed her and he was in no rush, taking his time, enjoying every single second of it.

He lay holding Maggie in his arms, his fingers running through her hair slowly, she had finally fallen asleep. He couldn't shake the smile off his face as he remembered their whispers of love to each other last night, their soft moans filling their bedroom, the desire and then complete love and pleasure in Maggie's eyes as they locked eyes reaching that high together. They had taken it slow and careful of Maggie's ribs but they both had felt how much they had both wanted and needed to be this close to each other.

He didn't want to waste a single second with her which was why he hadn't fallen asleep, he knew that he should be getting up to go in to work as they had a case but he still had Maggie for another few hours and he wasn't giving that up. He lifted his phone and chuckled when he read his sisters reply

'Don't worry easy charges to dismiss he would happily go anywhere with you. You two enjoy your time together, please be safe, we all miss you mags. Jubal call me later.'

He smiled reading about Jen saying that they all missed Mags, it was the truth he may miss her the most but she was really missed by a lot of people and it had only been two weeks. He closed Jen's message and typed out a message to Isobel

'Can you work with the team this morning on the case? Mags was here when I got home last night, she doesn't have to leave for another few hours, I will explain all later.'

Jubal wasn't sure how Isobel would feel about him wanting the time since they did have a case, her reply came back straight away 'Take the morning, come on in when Maggie leaves. Tell her to be safe out there.'

Jubal smiled reading Isobel's message and he thanked her for giving him the morning and promised to be in as soon as Maggie left. He kissed Maggie's forehead and he carefully got out of the bed grabbing his boxers sliding them on as he made his way downstairs to make them breakfast. He knew Maggie's ribs were going to hurt again this morning so he wanted to give her proper food to take the pain killers. He had just finished making breakfast when he felt two arms sliding around his waist and he leaned back kissing her temple.

"Hey you, I was going to bring this back up to bed to you."

Maggie smiled kissing Jubal's shoulder, neck and ear "Hmm that's very sweet but I was missing you so I thought I'd come join you. When do you have to leave?" She held him a little tighter, she knew that he would have work, he had told her last night before she fell asleep that they had a case and that Emily was coming in today as OA's partner.

"I'm going to drop you back to the temporary apartment and then head in to work after that." Jubal turned around in her arms wrapping his arms around her waist kissing her forehead "So you have me for a few more hours baby."

"You don't have to go in, but the case?" Maggie was surprised when she heard Jubal, but she was so glad that she had him to herself for a few more hours.

"I asked Isobel for the morning to spend it with you, her and Jen both told me to tell you to be safe and Jen wants you to know that she misses you."

"Remind me to thank Isobel next time that I see her. Tell Jen that I miss her too and thank her from me for checking in with you so much, I feel better knowing that she is doing that." Maggie leaned up kissing Jubal softly.

"I will tell them both baby." He ran his hands along her arms slowly and that was when he realised what she was wearing "That's the shirt I am wearing to work today."

"Well I was planning on telling you that you would have to take it back yourself, that way I got to keep you for myself a bit longer" Maggie smirked playfully.

Jubal just pulled her closer to him "I really like your plan, we can still make that happen you know." Before Maggie could respond she felt Jubal's lips against hers and she gave in to the kiss immediately, two weeks without being able to talk to each other, see, touch and kiss each other was far too much for the two of them.
