The next morning Amelia sat at the breakfast table feeling groggy, quietly eating her breakfast as her cousin bounced Teddy on her lap. She spent most of the night wide awake, once again listening to Harry and Ginny bicker.

"Tonks do you know what this meeting is about?" She said as she stuffed a peice of french toast in her mouth, hoping Tonks would give her some insight into the late night conversations keeping her awake.

"Dont know. Remus and Kingsley went to go talk to some death eaters in custody yesterday. Maybe they found out something?" Tonks said as she shrugged her shoulders and went back to making faces at Teddy.

Amelia nodded and sipped her coffee, debating if she should say anything about the overheard late night conversations involving thier Order leader. Lost in thought she watched Molly set down new plates for the soon too be arriving guests. Finally she decided to move onto a less gossipy topic. "When exactly am I supposed to get involved in all of this? I've been here two days and no one has told me what I'm supposed to do other than find Severus."

Amelia was particularly nervous about that. She wasn't looking forward to having to sell herself once again to a complete stranger and asking for help that could possibly put him in a dangerous situation. She knew she was going to be in danger, but she didn't want to drag anyone in on her account.

"Well," Tonks started "We should be figuring that all out once they are done with the interrogation." She said offhandedly as she grabbed a slice of toast, Teddy watching Amelia with his entire fist in his mouth, drool covering his front.

"And when are they planning on being done? No one's really telling me much and it sounds like a huge part of your plan depends on me. And I don't know if I should remind you but I know hardly anything about this war!" That came out harsher than she meant. Lack of sleep and feeling like she was being left in the dark had Amelia feeling on edge, like an exposed nerve. No one in the house paid her much mind the past two days and she felt like she was here purely out of necessity. Which she was...' but they could at least be more welcoming.' She thought suddenly feeling guilty for being a baby. 'They just fought and won a war and still can't rest. Stop being a twat'

Tonks huffed at her. "We are telling you everything that's happened over here. If you're talking about Snape, we will tell you what you need to know before you leave. Oh...I think they got done questioning then yesterday by the way."

Amelia choked "YEDERDAY!?" She said with a mouth full of food. She was going to be on her way soon, too soon. Amelia felt so unprepared.

Just as Tonks was about to speak Harry and Ginny walked in with who she know knew as Ron and Hermione in toe. None of them seemed happy. Ginny was pale and sickly looking as Harry helped her into her seat. Ron slumped into his chair with his arms folded, again looking pissed off with Hermione next to him. Her hand on his shoulder and her face riddled with worry.

'Well this doesn't look like the start of a happy meeting' Amelia whiped her face and swollowed, hoping she didn't look like a total pig.

Remus and Kingsley came in soon after. Remus gave her a small smile as he sat next to Tonks. Touching the side of his baby's face lovingly then folding his hands on the table. He was a kind, soft spoken man who balanced out her reckless cousin most defiantly. However she could see that years of being at war had worn on him.

The group sat quietly as they waited for Harry to start. He stood behind Ginny with his hands on her shoulders. "Erm..." He pushed his glasses up his face, suddenly looking nervous. "Ginny and I have some news, and i ask everyone keep an open l mind." Harry looked to Hermione for help but all she did was give him a small reassuring smile.

Amelias brows furrowed confusedly. Looking around the room trying to get a read on anyone. Finally she gave up, get mind too tired and stressed, nothing was coming through clearly. Her eyes landed on Remus who bowed his head waiting for Harry to continue.

Her gut knotted uncomfortably, the unease in the room palpable.

"Ginny and I are expecting..." Everyone broke out into gasps and congratulations. Amelia let out a small puff of air, thankful it wasn't horrible news. Harry waived his hand to calm everyone, Ginny never looking up from her lap. Amelia looked over at Remus who fidgeted in his chair. She narrowed her eyes at him. Harry had obviously spoke to him beforehand and there was more to the story.

The levity in the room was stamped out quickly as Harry became somber once more.

"I don't understand..." Tonks said looking from Harry to her husband. "This is happy news..."

"We conceived before Voldemorts fall." Ginny muttered, fiddling with the hem of the table cloth. Now Amelia was really confused. 'Why did the timing matter?' She watched as Molly smiled like a loon and started piling plates with food, not a care in the world. 'Something is wrong with that woman.'

Remus then interjected. "The problem is, Harry was still attached to Voldemort at the time."

Minerva's hand shot to her mouth, suddenly understanding what they were on about. "Oh no." Tonks' eyes went wide and looked at the young adults sitting at the end of the table. Everyone seemed to have come to the same conclusion except for Amelia.

"I'm sorry and I'm not trying to be indelicate but, I have no idea what you are all getting at."

"The fucking baby could have snake faces soul attached to it." Rob snapped at her. Amelia was taken aback, not wanting to cause waves she tried not take the outburst personally. He had been in a foul mood since she had arrived, now she knows why.

"Harry was one of Voldemorts horcruxes. The baby could be used as a vessel to bring him back." Remus explained.

Amelias mind was running a mile a minute, listening to the heated back and forth between the order members. From what she could gather, Harry, Ron and Hermione were the most knowledgeable when it came to horcruxes and even that was iffy. The only known human who had been burdened with a parasitic horcrux was Harry, and to rid him of it was dangerous. And that was putting it lightly.

After what felt like hours Amelia spoke up, not able to listen to the 'what ifs" anymore. "I need to speak to Severus." The room fell silent, all eyes on her. "It's our only option. Anyone with a brain would be able to figure out when the baby was convinced once it's born. Then what?"

No one moved, letting her words sink in. She was right and even as Amelia said it she knew there was no going back. This baby was like pouring cement on her grave. Once she contacted Severus, she was jumping head first into a snake pit with or without his help.
