"What were you thinking, going to a party and drinking alcohol?" Alec was furious with Daisy. It's three o'clock in the morning and Alec drives the car back home, Daisy in the passenger seat. The police were still at the party arresting the main boys who had the drugs and of course Joe for throwing the party and giving underage students alcohol. Most of the students had managed to escape the police, including Chloe, Lily and Ella but Daisy had already been caught by her dad before she could get away.

When him and Ellie got the call about a party with underage students drinking and possibly drugs, it didn't even cross his mind that Daisy could be there. He wasn't sure what he was most angry about; the fact that Daisy was drinking underage or that she had lied to him about where she was going.

When he saw her across the beach he wanted it to not be her, he wanted it to be someone else but he knew that blonde hair from a mile away. He didn't even know what to say to her and ordered her to sit in the car and wait for him. Daisy knew she was in big trouble and she was dreading the car journey home. She was still a little bit drunk and as the car moved she felt as if she was going to be sick.

"It was just a party dad, everyone else was there drinking" she murmured, her eyes staring forward. She didn't want to have an argument right now but she had no escape.

"Right so then you had to be there, do you have any idea what could have happened if you kept on drinking, you could get alcohol poisoning or someone could have drugged your drink" Alec fired back.

"Why would they do that?" Daisy argued. She couldn't imagine one of the boys doing that to the girls.

"You don't know what goes through people's minds, any one of those boys could have intention to hurt you" Daisy sighed, looking out her window.

"No they would't dad, you are over reacting" she mumbled. She just wanted to go home and get into bed.

"Oh really… what about Michael Lucas hmm, that boy was in your school, possibly in one fo your classes and he has raped someone and now he's going to prison for a very long time, I think it's safe to say I'm not over reacting Daisy" Alec's hands squeezed the wheel tighter.

"Well they aren't all rapists and no one drugged my drink, I only had a few drinks" Daisy barked back.

"Not to mention the drugs there, what if one of them forced you to take them, saw you in a vulnerable state and made you take them?".

"Dad do you really think I would take drugs, the amount of times you've told me to never do them and the consequences of what could happen if you do, I think it's been drilled into me not to take them" Daisy was a little offended that her dad thought she would do something stupid like drugs. But right now he was too angry to not think about the worse case possible.

"It's bad enough you were drinking underage, if I hadn't come tonight you could have been arrested Daisy, think what that would have done to your record".

"Well I guess then I should be thanking you that you raided my classmates party" Daisy replied sarcastically.

"Not to mention you lied to me, were you even staying at your friends house or were you going to spend the night at that drug house?".

"Yes I was staying at her house, we weren't going to stay all night, I don't know what the big deal is" Daisy said in frustration.

"The big deal, you drunk underage, I'm not sure you realise that I am a detective inspector and you broke the law Daisy" Alec was red with rage.

"I could have been worse" she whispered.

"It doesn't matter… we'll discuss this in the morning when you are sober" Alec said.

Daisy sat in silence, staring forward as Alec drove. She didn't want to continue the conversation. She knew her dad was right but for once couldn't he lighten up. Like he said, he was a detective inspector, there was no way he would let this go.

Alec pulled up to the house, parking the car and as soon as he pulled the handbrake up, Daisy stormed out the car but fell, not realising the alcohol was still taking effect on her. She clutched the side of the car for support and heard 'shit' whispered from her dad.

"You alright?" he asked as he held Daisy up who stumbled on the hard ground.

"Urgh, I feel sick" she mumbled, clutching on to her dad's arm. The whole car journey had made her stomach twist and Daisy was surprised she hadn't thrown up.

"Come on, you need to sleep this off" Alec held Daisy up as he brought her inside, struggling to open the front door with one hand. Alec threw his keys onto the side, bringing Daisy in who tripped on the ledge of the door, nearly falling flat on her face but luckily Alec caught her.

"Jesus Dais, you clearly had more than a few drinks" Alec groaned as he lugged Daisy inside, bringing her to her bedroom. He dropped her on the bed and Daisy groaned.

"Right come on let's get you dressed" Alec pulled a pair of shorts and a t-shirt from her draw and gave them to Daisy.

"Put those on I'll be back in a minute" he ordered and let the bedroom. Daisy lazily put the t-shirt and t-shirt on, trying to keep upright on the bed but the alcohol had made her movements sluggish.

She swallowed a horrible taste in her mouth and her stomach rumbled as if she was going to throw up.

Alec came back a few seconds later with a glass of water and what looked like the sink bowl. He placed the water on the bedside table and the bowl on the ground beside her.

"You feeling alright, here have some of this" he handed her the water to which Daisy took a gulp.

"I feel really sick" she groaned.

"Daisy I need you to tell me the truth, did you take anything tonight" Alec said carefully.

"No, I didn't dad" Daisy mumbled and swayed side to side a little.

"If you have just tell me" Alec pressed on.

"I didn't I swear". Alec sighed softly with relief. He knew Daisy wouldn't do drugs but he needed to make sure. She didn't look as if she had taken anything, only the alcohol.

Alright sweetheart, you just need to sleep, there's a bowl there if you're going to be sick, come on let's get you into bed" Alec pulled back the covers and helped Daisy inside, tucking her in.

"That's it, just try and sleep alright" Alec whispered, brushing Daisy's hair away and giving her a soft peck on her forehead. He was umming and ahing whether to stay with her, concerned if she was to fall out of bed and hit her head or throw up while she was half asleep. In a matter of minutes, Daisy had nodded off and was sleeping soundly asleep. Alec sighed, retreating to the kitchen to make a cup of tea. He wouldn't be able to get to sleep now, he was already up and he wanted to make sure Daisy was okay.

What a night

Daisy woke with a pounding in her head. She groaned as her eyes were tired and crusty and the sick feeling in her stomach was worse than when she was before she slept.

So this is what it's like to be hungover.

Daisy pulled herself from her pillow, wincing at the pain in her head as she moved and she had a horrible taste in her mouth. She noticed the glass of water beside her and she reached over to down the rest, trying to wash the disgusting taste away.

Even as she moved, she felt like she was going to throw up and she managed to sit up in bed, her neck and back aching all over.

Memories flooded back from the party and she sighed to herself, remembering the night. She wondered what Lily, Ella and Chloe did. Hopefully they didn't get arrested or caught by the police as Daisy had only assumed they had gotten away.

Daisy didn't stand a chance against her dad so was best she went along with him.

She wasn't looking forward to the conversation to come. It wasn't like she had an excuse for going to the party. Daisy knew she was going to be in so much trouble.

She looked over at her clock seeing it was just past ten o'clock. She wondered if her dad was still here or if he had gone to work. Flinging the covers off her, she slowly got out of bed, trying to not heave from the movement and as she looked down on the floor, her throat gagged at the sight in the sink bowl below.

She had obviously been sick in the night but wasn't aware. The alcohol must have blocked her memory. Maybe she had drunk more than she thought.

Tiptoeing out of her bedroom, she shuffled into the living room to see her dad on the sofa, mug in hand and watching the TV. Daisy caught her dad's attention and he turned to look over at her.

"Morning, how you feeling?" He asked as he turned down the volume on the TV.

"Not good" she mumbled.

"Come over here" Alec waved her over and Daisy followed over to the sofa, slumping down next to him.

Alec turned, leaning his elbows on his knees as he stared straight at Daisy. Her messy blonde hair had fallen in front of her and her eyes were drooping slightly.

"I don't ever want to see you drinking like that until you are 18, this is serious, you could have seriously gotten hurt Dais, you could have had to go to hospital, it was lucky I was there" Alec said seriously.

"I know dad, I'm sorry" she murmured.

"Not to mention arrested, if I hadn't of come those police officers would have taken you in and you would have spent the night in a cell".

"I know, I am sorry dad, I promise I won't do that again" Daisy said softly.

"Good… and you're grounded for two weeks which means you come home from school straight away and you stay here on the weekends".

"Dad please-".

"Daisy, I mean it" Alec interrupted her and Daisy sighed. She knew there was no way of getting out of this and she knew she had to take her punishment. This meant she wouldn't be able to see Jay. She only just thought about him now thinking about her punishment, she hadn't text him since she send that photo.

If Alec ever found out she had sent him that photo, even though she was clothed in this one, he would never let her out again, not to mention probably take her phone away.

"Okay" she mumbled.

"Come here" Alec wrapped his arm around Daisy, giving her a firm hug and a kiss on her head.

"I love you so much darling, if anything had happened to you I wouldn't forgive myself, just promise me you won't do that again" he whispered.

"I promise dad" Daisy mumbled and leaned her head on his shoulder.

"Good, you feeling alright?" He asked.

"A bit, was I sick last night?" Daisy pulled back to look up at her dad. Alec smirked a little, brushing her blonde hair away.

"Yeah, I had to come in because you were throwing up so much" Daisy groaned, feeling embarrassed.

"I'm going to go have a shower" Daisy stood, retreating to the shower so she could wash the shame away.
