The time to discover what was sent to the heroes has come! Let's find out what it is!

Chapter 4: Test of Teamwork, a cold reencounter

Just when the ten arrived at the site of landing, they started to feel a chilling breeze as the orb of light cleared. Mario is surprised and his gasp quickly turns into a glare when he recognizes the figure.

"Blizzard Midbus!" he barks. "So, we meet again, Mario. And this time looks like you're joined by new weaklings"

"Wait, wasn't he the minion of that wacko Fawful?" Dixie asks. "Yes. Bowser fought and defeated him, then he froze and shattered after the Dark Star was defeated as well" Mario explains to the rest of the team.

"Yes. I was bested by that fire-breathing dumb. But now that Lord Galeem revived me, I'm devoted to him and his goal. I may not be able to get revenge on Bowser given that he was captured by Lord Galeem, but I can take it out on you and your sorry bunch of friends!

You won't stop Lord Galeem's plans of conquer and revenge!" roared Blizzard Midbus. The heroes got into battle stances but Canada still winced from the pain of the recent fight. "Dawn and Mahiru. Please defend Canada, we'll handle this'' Japan requested.

The two girls looked at the sore nation and nodded, "Leave it to us!" Mahiru smiles, with Dawn giving him a warning "This guys has a powerful aura of cold hatred, please be careful. Japan thanks for the advice and turns to face the enemy as she uses Farore's Wind on Canada, Mahiru and herself to get to a safe distance..

"We brought you and Fawful down with a teamwork of four. Now prepare to be defeated again by a teamwork of seven!" Mario screams.

Japan, Heather, Taka, Juzo, Dixie Kong and Trevor nod and ready to fight against this new powerful foe.

Boss: Blizzard Midbus

GO!

Blizzard Midbus leaps to one of nearby trees and starts to toss several snowballs at the team. The seven jump out of the way and the foe gets off the tree. Midbus charges a punch and lunges at Heather, who dodged and shot him with her Paralyzer.

Taka takes the chance and continues with a Straight Lunge and sends Midbus flying. Viper quickly follows up and hits the chilly enemy with a Megidolaon. Blizzard Midbus is launched towards Mario.

Calculating the landing trajectory, Mario jumps and prepares to send the boss to the ground with his forward aerial. But something catches Blizzard Midbus AND Mario off guard and the two are sent to the ground. It was Juzo, who caught the two in the descent of his Soaring Slash.

"What the hell?!" Heather yells, "I didn't see Mario was about to hit that freak. My mistake" said Juzo after he landed. Mario, who landed face first on the ground, gets up and quickly turns to the boxer.

"What was that for?!" he righteously asks. Juzo just shrugs and tells him to get over it since they're fighting. The rest of the team watches Midbus create four snowmen with the face of his defeated boss and power him up.

Blizzard Midbus in sync with the Snawfuls delivered a powerful ice breath that froze Mario, Juzo and Dixie. The boss then curls into a ball and rams them, sending the three heroes flying to the trees.

Taka and Viper glare and lunge at the foe, only to be frozen and kicked away. Heather rushes to Midbus in order to strike with a Boost Kick but quickly gets punched to the ground and barely avoids being crushed by the enemy.

Japan threw his fan at Midbus and unsheathed his katana to slash him, he got a few hits on him before finally being frozen by the snowmen and thrown into a tree.

"That teamwork? I laugh at your team!" Blizzard Midbus laughs and conjures a giant snowball with several bob-ombs inside in order to trap the heroes and get rid of them, however it requires a certain time to build up.

The seven get up shakingly regroup. "J-Juzo friendly f-fire won't solve anything!" Dixie scolds the boxer. "W-we need to work t-together if we want to be victorious!" Taka adds. "Whatever" Juzo simply says.

"We can sort this out later, let's focus on Blizzard Midbus!" Viper exclaims. Juzo begrudgingly agrees and the seven head to Blizzard Midbus and his giant snowball.

The creature begins to roll the snowball towards the heroes at full speed. Mario, Heather, Juzo and Dixie get out of the way but Japan, Taka and Viper get caught in the snowball. Mario quickly shoots several Fireballs to free his teammates, but these only do little to melt the giant snowball.

"Join friends inside!" Midbus taunts him before catching Mario with the snowball. Dixie and Heather angrily launched themselves with a Monkey Flip and a Flip Jump at Blizzard Midbus respectively, only to get frozen and buried in the snowball with the rest.

It all depends on Juzo now.

"You know, I may not like these guys, but you are annoying me even more with your high and mighty bullshit of revenge! TAKE THIS!" Juzo roars before landing a side smash attack on the snowball, which managed to destroy a little of it.

"Weakling!" Midbus says and chases Juzo around with the snowball. However, thanks to his training and Chrom's powers, Juzo keeps outrunning the attack until he and Midbus hear something coming from inside the snowball.

The bob-bombs have been activated. Blizzard Midbus starts to panic while Juzo understands what is going on. From several parts of the snowball, the six trapped heroes emerge with the bob-bombs in hands and start throwing them at their foe.

Blizzard Midbus tried to deflect them but it was too late. The bob-bombs set off and a huge explosion melts the snowball away while Midbus is sent flying and lands hard on the grass.

He opens his eyes and sees himself surrounded by the heroes, "I still fight!" he says but unbeknownst to him, Juzo has been charging this whole time a special attack. Mario, Japan, Heather, Taka, Dixie Kong and Trevor distance from him and the boxer lets go a devastating Flare Blade.

Blizzard Midbus is sent to a tree and slides to the ground, soundly defeated.

FINISH!

"What was that thing about revenge?" Heather mocks him. "You were never a match for our teamwork!" Taka smiles.

"I fall again. But Galeem's revenge be your grave!" Blizzard Midbus yells and he freezes completely before shattering once more.

Dawn, Mahiru and Canada regroup with the team and congratulate them for their victory. "Well done" Canada smiled, "Although, your teamwork could still use some refining given what happened with Juzo and Mario" Mahiru commented.

"By reading Juzo's aura, I can tell something about Mario angers him but I still can't figure out the motive" Dawn adds. Mario looks at Juzo, who in turn is glaring at the moon child.

"Let's discuss this in the flight back to Toronto. We need to regroup with our rescued allies and figure out where we are going next" Trevor said.

The rest of the heroes agree and make their leave to the Ottawa International Airport.

Canada has been saved, all heroes in this country have been rescued and a powerful, elite minion of Galeem has been defeated. As the exhaustion of travelling and fighting starts to take a toll on the team, the seven plus Dawn, Mahiru and Canada use the flight to relax for a bit before returning to the Galleria Mall.

This adventure is just beginning.

Blizzard Midbus?! Well, luckily he got dealt with by the team who still needs to refine their teamwork, especially Juzo.
