So first of I am so sorry that this chapter took way longer then I originally thought it was going to take to post, so please forgive me. I really hope you enjoy this chapter.

Eric arrived in a woosh; dressed in a dark charcoal suit. "Emilia." He spoke urgently. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah. Uh I don't think anything was taken just trashed." I stood as he approached me. I saw him glance to Bill giving him a slight nod.

"I will have someone come clean it up and replace what was broken. I'll also have a security system installed." He stated.

"You don't need to do that Eric. It's fine I can replace the stuff myself." I had plenty of money, aunt May aside from the house also left a lumpy sum for me as well.

"Emilia." Eric started.

"Eric." I countered. "While appreciate the offer, I really do, I can take care of myself financial. It's just things they can be replaced. And I told you I don't want to be bought."

We stared down each other for a moment. "Fine." Eric sighed. "I won't replace what was broken. But I will have someone come to clean up the mess and install a security system." I was about to protest but he cut me off. "Compromise." He stated. "While your things may be replaceable you are not. And if you must spend time clean up the mess in the house you will be unfocused for our date. This is purely for selfish reasons I assure you." He raised an eyebrow to be as if proposing a deal. "Now in the meantime until your home is secured you can come home with me. In the guest room of course, don't want to rush into things now do we. Or do we want to?" He teased.

"That is very kind Eric but I'm staying at Sookie's. Bill already ran a bag over for me." The glare Eric sent Bill did not go unnoticed. "And we have to wait for Sheriff Andy anyway to file a report. I'm sure you have to get back to Fangtasia." Eric looked displeased.

"Pam has it under control." He paused trying to mask annoyance. "I will stay to see if this Sheriff is adequate to figure out who broke into your home." Eric stepped away from me to go speak with Bill and I found Sookie had replaced him.

"So, a sleepover." She said trying to brighten the mood. "I have only had those with Tara and its been a while too."

"I've never had one before." I admitted.

"What?" She gasped. "Well, we'll just have to change that won't we." She smiled. "It a good thing I went to the store yesterday, I got chips and cookies. And I already had alcohol. We can stay up all night talking about everything." I knew she was trying to take my mind off the house so, I nodded and told her it sounded fun. In this distance I could see headlights approaching. "That must be Andy."

Eric and Bill turned their attention down the road as the silhouette of a police cruiser became visible. The car parked at the beginning of my driveway and a man wearing a tan button down and brown slacks steeped out. I assumed this was Andy.

"Hey Sookie, Vampire Bill, and uh Miss. Blanchard is it. I'm Sheriff Andy Bellefleur." He paused to shake my hand. "I uh knew your aunt and uncle fairly well. Played a little football with him when we was in high school. Went to their wedding. They were good people." He paused noticing Eric. "And this is?"

"Eric Northman, a friend of Emilia's and Bill is one of my underlings." This did not go without a disgruntled growl from Bill.

"So, another vampire." Andy stated disheartened. "Uh any way. Someone broke into your home and vandalized?"

It did not take long for Andy to take our statements and inform us that the crime scene tech would be by in about hour; Bon Temps was a small town that shared a CSI with a few of the surrounding parishes.

"Alright Miss. Blanchard why don't you and Sookie head on over to her house for the night. The crime scene guys should be here soon. I'll wait for them to show and oversee the investigation. I'll follow up with you in the morning, but I have a felling it may have just been some rowdy teens causing trouble." Sheriff Andy walked away from us to his cruiser.

Eric did not seem pleased with Andy's response and plan and made a move to advance on him; luckily, he was not using his vamp speed, so I was able to catch him. "Eric, stop!" He looked back to me clearly displeased. "It's okay. Let Sheriff Andy do his job." Eric looked like he was going to say something, but I cut him off. "Let's worry more about this later. Okay? It's been a long day." I could see some of the tension disperse from Eric before he gave me a miniscule nod.

Eric was about to speak again but was interrupted once more this time by the ringing of his cellphone. "Yeah?" He answered displeased. He listened to the other end of the line before speaking in a hushed tone. "Hittade du dem? Jag är på väg. Och Pam äter dem inte." He hung up the phone before looking tom me. "I have some business that I need to attend too." He approached me. "If you need something call. I will see you tomorrow evening." And then he was gone.

"Sookie, Emilia, I shall walk you to Sookie's house." Bill approached us with his arm motioning to the Stackhouse home. We gave Andy a wavy before making our starlit trek.

When we arrived at Sookie's house; she and Bill lingered back a ways. "Emilia, I'll be in, in a moment. Just gonna say goodnight to Bill." I gave them a wave and went on inside.

"Hello dear. Would you like some lemonade?" I turned to see an older white-haired woman standing in the dining room with a pitcher of lemonade.

"Ah that would be lovely Mrs. Stackhouse." I smiled shutting the door.

"Oh, call me Gran, everyone does." She began pouring three glasses of lemonade. "Well just about. That Mr. Compton who is taken with Sookie is just so proper." Gran motioned me to set at the dining table. "Mr. Compton told me you had a break in." She began. "That doesn't normally happen around here. But I am sure Andy well handle it well and find out who did it. He may be a little rough around the edges, but he does care for this town and everyone in it." She smiled handing me a glass.

When I took the glass from her hand, I felt a cold shudder wash over me. My vision began to blur and darken. When it came back, I was in a dark room the only light from the moon filtering in from a few small windows. I could make out a table, a few chairs, and a screen door. Behind the screen door I could see a silhouette of someone dressed in an oversized hoodie lurking like it was waiting for someone.

Just as quickly as the vision came it was gone.

"Dear are you alright?" Gran was looking at me worried. "You went away there for a moment."

"Yes." I shook the feeling of dreed from me. "I'm fine. It's just been a long day." I took a sip of the ice-cold lemonade. "This is delicious."

"Thank you dear. I make it myself." Gran smiled warmly at me, I smiled back at her.

"Hey." I heard Sookie call as she opened the front door. "Sorry I took so long." I could see her face redden as she thought about her goodbye.

"It's alright dear. I was just getting to know May and Leon's niece a little. I have to say they may have been my neighbors for almost five decades I unfortunately did not know them well. Mainly it was pleasantries in town, a couple Christmas cards here and there, along with a few bake goods over the holidays."

"Yeah, I think they were very private people. I didn't even know them, but they apparently knew about me." I responded. "My parents never told me about them. I didn't think we had any other family aside from us."

Gran smiled at me and reached for my hand. "Well, if you need any help Sookie and I are here." Sookie smiled at me as well. "Now I know you two have had an exciting night I am sure you'd all like to get some sleep."

"Actually Gran, it's not that late." Sookie stated as we all glanced at the walk clock stating it was almost ten. "We were gonna stay up for a bit; have some girl talk, some drinks and snacks, maybe a movie." Sookie smiled at me. "Emilia has never had a real sleepover before."

Gran smiled warmly at us. "Well, you two have fun then. I get some blankets down and put them in the living room for you. Then I'm off to bed." She stood giving both Sookie and I a shake on the shoulder.

Sometime later Sookie and I were laying on the couch in her living room, beer in hand, and a bowl of chips between them. "So, what do you think of Eric? He is so different from Bill."

"Uh, I don't really know. There is something different about him. There is an attraction there. And I enjoy his company even though he gets annoying at times. And I guess I'm just curious to what a relationship with him could be like." I answered, I know somewhat vaguely but it was still way too early to be specific.

Sookie smiled at me. "It's exciting though isn't? It's like one of those romance novels." She said dreamily. "Bill is such a gentleman and he so soft and caring. Oh, and he brings me flowers. No one has ever brought me flowers before, well outside the family."

"That's sweet."

"So do you know where he is taking you?" Sookie asked.

" No, I'm gonna ask him tomorrow what he has planned. Though from what I know of him so far, he probably won't be specific. He likes to tease me." We continued to talk through most of the night about our childhood, friends, the loss of parents, and things that we planned to do in the future.

I hope you enjoyed this chapter! It took me forever to get done. Up next we have some bad things happen, some drama, and some fun things.

I am not 100% on the translation I used an app because I am still learning and have a long way to go with Swedish.
