I'm sick and tired of not being able to keep up with my own fics, you know? I start something and then I just can't finish it in one cohesive stretch, it's annoying as fuck.
Really sorry for who thought this fic was going to be updated today, but here's the problems:
1) it's been far too long since I updated it and I forgot most of my plans for it, and my notes are too messy to make any sense anymore
2) Not only did I go the golems route, I also went with animal taming. That's way too many minions for me to keep track of all their individual stats and level.
3) The system was contrived as fuck and I had a hard time keeping my notes in order. You wouldn't believe the chaos that was my spreadsheet.
In light of this. I will rework the system heavily, and -unfortunately- reboot once again. Yeah, I know it's annoying that I start and drop things life this, but how do you think I feel about it?
Anyways, Game of Death & Life will still be canon to the reboot, so if you read it then nothing will have changed there.
Subnautica was an interesting premise for a fic, but it had poor execution. I'm changing it.
Oh, and before I go one last thing: if you want to start shit do it here, not on the reboot. I'll just delete your stuff there. You have been warned.
