After the incident in the park, the family immediately went home with Hana in tow. Kagome felt horrible, despite being consoled by her mate and family excluding Sesshomaru. Ichirou was currently at his mother's side. Not once did he leave her side, other being fed and changed. Hana was resting for a few hours before she slowly opened her eyes. She groaned as she rubbed her sore shoulder. Hana looked at it to see it was a bit healed through the shirt she wore before she sat up. She looked down at the sleeping toddler before she picked him up. Hana heard a shuffled before hearing a door opened. She looked up to see it was Sesshomaru. Hana slowly stood up and went around the male to quickly exit the room.
Hana shut the door behind her before she hurried herself towards the stairs. She knew Sesshomaru wouldn't be that far behind. In fact, Hana knew that the male would be following her. Slowly heading down the steps with the sleeping infsnt in her arms, she headed towards the dining room. The big family were having dinner before she walked in. Everyone in their true forms, excluding Kagome and InuYasha for he had turned human for the night. Silently, she just bowed her head omce before she joined them as she placed the sleeping child beside her. She was stuck with eating beside Sesshomaru, who was staring her down. Hana looked away from him as she stayed quiet and finished her meal. InuTaisho looked at them as he suggested"Why don't we all head to bed for the night? We have a big day ahead of us..". His mate agreed,so she was the first to head to their designated room. Inuyasha and Kagome headed to theirs as well. Aki stood up and yawned softly as she looked at Sesshomaru. She wrapped her arms around the male's arms as she said basically purring"Sesshy, let's go to bed. I have a surprise for you.". Hana tried her best to not throw up in her mouth,so she turned away and picked up the sleeping pup. Sesshomaru looked at Aki with his usual look and said monotoned"Do not touch me. Your disgusting touch has brought me great displeasure.". Aki widen her eyes as she watched the man she married follow behind Hana,despite Hana's wishes.
Aki's hand balled up into a tight fist as she said" Damn her and that bastard brat.". She stormed towards her room before she went to open it. The big reveal was Hana in her room with Sesshomaru. Aki growled as she said"What are you doing in Sesshomaru and I's room? You're suppose to be sleeping in the living room!". Hana looked at her with crossed arms as she said"I will do no such thing. Kagome and her mother allowed me this room. Your mate, however, refuses to leave.". Aki looked at Sesshomaru, who was getting ready for bed. Sesshomaru looked at her and stated"I do not need to explain myself to you, Aki. Now, leave. My pup needs his rest, and you are disrupting it.". Aki looked at the proud Inuyoukai with her. She began to put on an act. Aki caressed her stomach as she explained with her eyes filled with fake tears"So you carelessly throw your wife that's carrying your pup out of the room to be shared with you?". Sesshomaru looked at her belly and said"Off to bed, Aki.". He soon shut the door in her face, leaving her dumbfounded and angry. Aki headed to the living room to find a bed was there waiting for her.
Hana sighed as she pulled a shirt on her body before she then climbed into bed. Ichirou was sleeping in Sota's old crib next to the bed. She went to see that the lamp was still on. Hana raised her hand to turn it off, but was beaten to it by no one other than Sesshomaru. He had turned the lamp off and proceeded to climb into bed. Hana was shocked by this, and scooted away from him. Sesshomaru saw this before he looked at her. "Hana, I will not harm you in anyway. You need rest from your injury.". Hana eyed him up and down to take in his form. He was in nothing,but pajama pants. Hana sighed as she laid down on the bed,her back to Sesshomaru. Not even two minutes later, Hana felt arms being wrapped around her. She quickly looked at the male before she began to push away. Sesshomaru didn't budge one bit. He said with his eyes reopening"Stop fighting, and go to sleep..". Hana looked at him as she demanded"Let me go.". Sesshomaru did no such thing, leaving Hana to struggle more. He brought her closer to his chest as he let her fight him before she finally stopped. That was when Hana began to cry. Hana sobbed as she said"You betrayed me. I trusted you. You gave me a beautiful pup, and left me all alone to raise him!". Sesshomaru said nothing as he brought Hana closer to him and gently kissed her forehead. Sesshomaru says softly"And I'll do anything to make this up to you. Ichirou will no longer go without a father and you without a mate..".This brought ease to Hana and let her fall asleep in Sesshomaru's arms. On the other side of the door, Aki had been listening since the lights were turned out. Her eyes were filled with rage as her mind became filled with insidious ideas on how she would end Hana. Aki wanted to bust into the room and break it up, but knew it would have blown her cover. Instead she went back to bed with a smirk on her face as she had a plan that was going into effect very soon.
The next morning was quiet the moment Hana woken up. She was in Sesshomaru's naked chest as she had been sleeping all night. The said male was still sleeping. Hana watched him for a while as she traced the male's beautiful features before she noticed that Sesshomaru was indeed awake. Hana blushed madly as she whispered"Morning.". Sesshomaru nodded his bead before he sat up. Hana sat up as well before she checked on Ichirou. The child had been for a while now and was now watching them. Sesshomaru gave a tiny smile at Ichirou, which shocked Hana quite a bit. She decided to not say anything before she picked up Ichirou. Hana smiled as she let Ichirou head towards Sesshonaru before he held his arms up wanting to be held by his father. Sesshomaru had obliged before getting out of bed with Ichirou. Hana did as well before a feeling made her collapsed to her knees. Hana held her side as Sesshomaru went to her side the moment he saw her collapse. Hana took in a deep breath before she looked at Sesshomaru. She sighed in relief as she said"I'm alright..". Sesshomaru didn't leave her side,but understood. As they gotten dressed, They headed downstairs to face that the big family eating.
Aki looked at them before she noticed Ichirou in Sesshomaru's arms. She growled once she caught a look at Sesshomaru's arm around Hana's waist. This did not go unnoticed. Soon, InuTaisho noticed this as well before smiling. It didn't take long before the rest of the family to notice. They had a look of happiness on their face as Aki was the only once to frown at this. Having enough, Aki broke her chopsticks in half before she stood. She glared at the couple before her as she spoke"May I remind you that you are standing near my husband!". Hana looked at her before she took a step away from Sesshomaru after she picked up Ichirou. This brought forth many frowns,but no one said a word. Aki smirked at her small victory before she sat back down with Sesshomaru near her. Hana sat on the opposite end of the table before she began to eat silently. Ichirou sat on Hana's lap silently as he was too busy playing with the cat. Hana looked at InuTaisho as she asked"Are we going home today?". InuTaisho hummed as he set the bowl down. He said"We will have to. There is an important meeting Sesshomaru and I need to attend. You will be there as well,Hana, as well as all of the lords.". Hana simply nodded her head before she quickly finished up. She soon excused herself to go upstairs
Hana walked to her room before She soon changed back into the clothes that she arrived in. As she did, she soon headed back downstairs to see that everyone just finishing. Hana smiled at her pup as he walked towards her with wobbly legs. Hana caught him just before he fell before Hana then changed him into his old clothing. They sat just as everyone else went to change clothing.
It was time to go. Ichirou waved goodbye to Kagome's mother before we all hopped down the well to go back to our time. The travel back home was nice and smooth. No trouble was caused with the exception of Aki glaring Hana down. Hana glared back at her before flying ahead of her. Ichirou giggles in his mother's arms once he saw many of the birds flying besides her. Hana giggles as she said"Those are birdies, Ichirou.". Ichirou soon clapped his hands before he soon began levitate out of her arms. Hana's eyes widen as she stopped mid air. Her arms stretched out in fear of Ichirou falling. InuTaisho looked over before coming towards Hana in his dog demon form. His deep voice said to Hana"He is showing such promise. Just as his father did before him.". Hana nodded before gasping once Ichirou soon began to fall. She caught him with ease before he began to smile. Hana praised him with much love before she stopped. She looked at the certain direction once she began to hear an explosion. Hana looked at the others worriedly. It didn't take long before screams of humans reached her ears. Hana widen her eyes as she soon began to try to hurry in that direction,but was stopped by Aki. Aki glared at her as she said"You cannot interfere with the mortals. That is none of our business.". Glaring back, Hana glared at her before looking down at her son with a soft loving look. As much she would hate to admit it, Aki was right in a way. She couldn't fight without putting Ichirou in danger. Desperate to do at least something, she looked over at Inuyasha and InuTaisho with a begging look. InuYasha sighed as he pecked Kagome's lips before taking off with his father at his side.
Hana sighed with relief as she then continued her travels with Sesshomaru to guard the women and children. Once they made it back home, they were greeted by the servants as they had been awaiting for their lords and ladies. Ichirou giggled at the servant girls as his mother walked past them all. Hana went to walk to her room before being stopped by Sesshomaru. Hana looked at Sesshomaru with confusion clear on her face. She said softly"Yes, Lord Sesshomaru?". Sesshomaru looked at her before he glanced down at his son. Ichirou gave him a toothless smile,making Hana smile with joy. There was a slight upturn in the corner of Sesshomaru's mouth,but it quickly vanished. Sesshomaru looked at Hana as he then said"Follow me to my office. There is something Father and I need to talk to you about.". Hana nod once in understanding before she handed her pup off to one of her trusted servants before she followed Sesshomaru and InuTaisho,who had joined them again just a few minutes ago. Aki glared as she watched the trio walk away. She balled her fists tightly before she walked away as she planned the downfall of Hana.
Sometime in the office of Sesshomaru, the trio talked about the meeting of the Lords and Ladies. Hana looked at the two as she said unsure of what to say"So, when the other Lords arrive, they are looking for mates for their children? And I must be there?". InuTaisho sighed as he nodded his head. He looked at Hana as he explained"It's mandatory for members of the family that unmated to participate in these types of meetings. Regardless of the situation.". Hana gripped the fabric she wore as she soon nodded her head. It was simple, InuTaisho planned to wed her off to any available and suitable males that found her attractive enough. As they continued to discuss, there was someone who stood just outside listening to the conversation,smirking with a plan in mind before disappearing.
