Wrath Has Descended

A/N: To start with, I solemnly swear that I don't own Harry Potter. If I did, then Dumbles the bumbles would have a far more grisly death – one that he deserved instead of the one he got.

Other than that, thank you for the reviews and follows! Each review gives more motivation to continue with the story, plus allows me to improve upon my work and skills as I keep forging ahead.

In response to the review stating that the italics at the beginning of each Chapter are confusing – this section is taking parts of Harry's life from the Warhammer Universe, didn't really think that it needed explaining, but now you know.

To Ace of Hate – As I say when my friends join me on BFV… "welcome to the shitshow, It's good to see you!" I'm glad you like it, hopefully you enjoy the ride.

As for everyone else that followed this story, thank you for patience. My work has gone a bit insane recently and they keep demanding more work from me, so I've not really had time to think about writing – but now the rest of my workforce is coming back, so hopefully I'll be able to actually update again.

As a reminder – I'm writing a work of fiction, so some things will not be exactly as lore or canon dictates, as some aspects irritate me. Due to this, some battles will be entirely created by me, as I have far too active an imagination while I'm at work.

A heads up – thoughts taken by characters will be in Italics with this to show – 'thoughts' – I hope this is clear enough, if not, let me know and I'll figure out a way to separate it further.

Warning! This Chapter will contain either p.o.v changes OR scene changes, perhaps both – you will be alerted as seen here.

Enjoy!

Wrath Has Descended

Planet: Thu'um-val Sector: 814522601

Status: Perilous

Report: The planet designated Thu'um-val has been invaded by Orks. The population of staunch Imperialists have been holding off a combined force of two Waagh's, finally failing after the Orks have pushed them into retreat numerous times. The planet's remaining Commissar has requested an Orbital Strike from a cruiser above planet.

Ship designated – Ork's Folly – responded with speed and fired several successful bursts from it's primary Lancer, thus destroying the planet's surface… No life has been recognized since.

Report ended.

To the south of Meiningen in Germany, there was a rolling forest filled with a myriad of colours that overwhelmed the subtle beauty of the landscape.

In reality, it was a small school that was home to an even smaller number of wizards and witches – most preferring to attend Beauxbatons or Durmstang instead. As such, it often found itself the target of wanna-be criminals and dark lords, mainly due to it's wards being mediocre at best.

At this time, the school and it's occupants were currently in chaos, both students and teachers fleeing for their lives as a pack of criminals ran rampant on their search through the school. They were hunting for a child of an Auror, whose salary couldn't afford the most desirable school's costs, thus their reason for attending the smaller establishment. Multiple teachers had sent off Patroni pleading with the German Law Enforcement to assist them once again, as several children had been murdered where they stood as the group became more and more agitated.

"The Recht cannot save you now!" The leader bellowed, grinning with delight as he watched remaining teachers be corralled back into the school's assembly hall. "Tell me where Tobias Richtofen is and I shall spare you."

"Please!" One student cried out, "We do not know! He has been missing for weeks now, let us leave!"

The leader pointed his wand at the now struggling student and grinned as he barked out "Crucio!"

The student screamed in pain as she fell to the floor, writhing in agony as another scream forced its way from her throat. The leader of the gang laughed uproariously, finding the group before him so amusing that he almost keeled over. He waited until the spell had worked its way through her body before applying it again, laughing once more as she silently shook and trembled upon the floor.

BOOM.

The sound echoed throughout the hall as the doors serving as an entrance to the assembly hall, smoke curling around the body that had come crashing through the doors. More smoke billowed through the gap, blocking the sight of the group who had fanned out and took up stances around the room.

There was no preparation for what happened next.

Footsteps thudded as a being stepped through the doorway, the smoke dissipating around it's helmet as it straightened up to it's full height.

"Jetzt!" Screamed the leader, his voice shrill with fear at this terrifying foe.

Five streaks of light hit the creature, one after another – the first made it stumble, the second removing it's arm while the third and fourth both blew hole in it's torso. The fifth took the creature's head clean off, yet there was no blood.

The group stared at the fallen thing in confusion, before one member gave a strangled grunt as a figure crashed through the roof and landed atop their body. The figure unstooped themself, smiling as they locked eyes with the leader.

"Hah!" the leader boasted, twirling his wand so rapidly that it became a blur to the terrified hostages, "this is your help? A mere dummkopf won't save you!"

Astonishingly the boy shrugged, smiling easily as he stared at the man. He opened his mouth and spoke in a gleeful manner, "Enough talk, let's fight!"

The group readied themselves for the massacre they were about to perform, only to blink in surprise as their leader seemed to spontaneously combust – his body exploding outwards in a spray of blood and gore. The boy laughed happily as he sped up to a member next to the now very dead man, his hand punching through the woman's stomach and closing his fist around her spine. She stiffened automatically, the terror flooding her body making her hyper-aware of the killer before her.

As she stared into his eyes, she noticed the bright green colour seemed to burn like balefire, promising nought but death in return for her actions. She gulped once before dropping to the floor like a puppet, her spine snapped in two and stomach torn open by the removal of his hand. Two gang members had their arms ripped out their sockets at the same time, despite being on either side of the room – both arms were immediately put back into their body, albeit rammed down their throat and up more sensitive areas directly. The final gang member could only release a whimper as their head was caved inwards from a heavy blow, the body spasming as it went through the final throes of death before laying still.

"Well…" the boy murmured in the same breathless tone he'd started in. "That went awfully quickly. I keep forgetting how fragile you humans are."

The now freed hostages quickly swamped him, thanking him over and over again, shaking his hand and offering him praise for responding so firmly against such odds.

The boy, now Harry as he'd introduced himself, had simply laughed at that statement – telling them he'd faced odds much worse than that. He went on to explain that Orks had outnumbered his group by thousands to one, yet they had no trouble fighting against the hordes as they descended.

To their credit, the group took it in stride, offering him their help and favours despite being unable to decipher exactly what it was he was telling them.

At first Harry was reluctant to take them up on their offer, but when an idea hit he just couldn't seem to make it leave. For the first time since arriving on Humanity's Cradle, the birthplace of the Emperor and the almighty Imperium, Harry smiled a full-blown smile.

"Actually" he began, "It would be incredibly helpful if you could get an audience with your Law Enforcement. After all, I'd have to get a permit for lethal force, would I not?"

In what could only be described as a coincidence, a crack echoed throughout the hall once more as two cloaked figures popped into existence. Both figures immediately drew their wands and pointed them at the group sprawled over the floor, glancing around warily as they approached the unknown teen. Upon drawing closer, the witch began hammering away in German, while her male counterpart began flicking his wand in erratic movements. Harry gestured to the student next to him, before pointing to his ear and sighing gustily.

"I CAN'T UNDERSTAND YOU!" Harry bellowed, "ICHE SPRECHE KEIN DEUTSCH!"

The pair pulled up and threw bewildered looks towards the young student who remained at Harry's side. Evidently the pair seemed to follow the shouts, for they began interrogating the student while simultaneously attempting to stare Harry out as they spoke. Harry took it all in stride and simply grinned like a madman, which seemed like an apt description to the rest of the room after the chaos and destruction he'd caused with nothing but his bare hands.

Unbeknownst to the German Polizist, and her defences, Harry had entered her mind during her interrogation and begun rifling through it at speed, mentally copying all information that was related to their version of the Magical Government. With a still slightly blood-lusted mental cackle he took careful note of the highly trained and militarised Hit-Squad the Germans held in top secret, filing that away for particular advantages that only they could provide.

"Perhaps," Harry murmured, "I better leave that alone until the opposition has calmed slightly."

At the end of this train of thought, Harry looked up to see that the two Polizists had left and the group he'd saved had begun to drift out the room. Acting purely on a whim, Harry fired off a piece of his magic and attached it to the teenager he'd saved.

'After all' Harry thought 'They could come in useful one day.'

With a smug smile worming its way onto Harry's usually passive face, Harry twisted and disappeared without the loud boom he normally left behind.

With Daphne…

Diagon Alley had to possibly one of the most boring places Daphne could ever think of.

A long street, yes, but ultimately one that never changed or had anything exciting to offer. It somehow managed to perfectly sum up her issue with the Magical World – there was so much that could be done, yet the population of Britain had never bothered to update it's ways or methods of achieving things.

'It was rather… lazy' she mused idly, 'to be so comfortable with something, that we never attempt to change.'

A valiant reason to be overjoyed about her inheritance, lesser so for the awareness that one day her father would pass on and she'd no longer be able to enjoy his presence or the way he made her laugh with a simple sarcastic remark. As for the other reasons, well, they were al nobler than one would expect, and she was damn sure that she'd achieve her goals – no matter what it took.

Tracey's sharp elbow dug into her side and startled her out of her thoughts, causing her to glare at said girl before swinging her head around to see just what it was that Tracey was so happy abo…

'Crap!' Daphne screamed internally, 'Why the FUCK IS HE HERE?'

The bane of her life had arrived, the sole fact that this boy existed had caused her and Tracey to fall apart at the seams in their third year – but not anymore, for Daphne was well aware that this…this…Flirtare had in mind and she refused to fall for his tricks again.

Blaise 'Casanova-but-not-in-reality' Zabini shot Daphne a charming smile, wholly unaware of how empty it seemed, before parking his butt on the chair closest to Tracey.

"Tracey, mia luce, come va la tua estate? Terribilmente noioso senza di me a renderti le cose più divertenti, no?" Blaise softly moved a single strand of Tracey's hair behind her ear, smirking as she blushed a brilliant red and began shifting in agitation.

"Hello Blaise," Daphne intervened as she took pity on her best friend. "Didn't expect you back until the start of school, any particular reason that made you grace us with your presence once again?"

Both Blaise and Tracey shot her irritated looks that quickly turned into frowns as they noticed their friend getting spacey as she gazed through the window. The pair's curiosity immediately grew tenfold as they had never come across Daphne behave in this manner before, therefore it was just strange enough to cut short Blaise's scathing reply. As the pair began glancing around in a confused manner, Daphne grew bright red as a dark shadow loomed over the trio's table.

Blaise and Tracey both looked up with irritated glares, which quickly morphed into incredulous looks of shock as a young man gently took Daphne's hand, bowed low and planted a kiss upon her knuckles. The pair's mouths fell open as they gawked at the most absurd sight they'd ever come across – Daphne 'Ice Queen' Greengrass was sporting a massive blush, that spread from the top of her forehead and disappeared somewhere underneath her neckline…and she was giggling.

"Blaise?" Tracey whispered, as she watched her best friend get all doe-eyed over a present the ridiculously tall person had handed to her.

"Yes, mia-luce?" Blaise murmured back.

"What the fuck is happening?" Tracey asked out of the side of her mouth, hesitant to even risk disturbing this strange scene unfolding before her.

"I assure you, Trace, that I don't know…perhaps we're dead?" Blaise responded, before letting out a shriek of pain as Tracey slugged him in his arm as hard as she could. "Merda!"

"Christ almighty Blaise, you little bitch, I didn't even hit you that hard." Tracey laughed, before going silent as she turned to smile at the still gooey Daphne and her "friend." "Hiya" she began, smirking as Daphne turned white in a matter of seconds. "I'm Tracey, this muppet is Blaise, when did my bestie order a drink of tall, muscly and gorgeous? Huh?"

The man, currently dubbed 'Tall, muscly and gorgeous,' chuckled smoothly – his throaty grumbles sending shivers through Tracey's body, (later on with Daphne she could only describe it as fear, or she dearly wanted to do things that would make her mother cringe with despair) causing Blaise to scowl as he watched the object of his affections get all mopey about another man.

"You use violence as a tool of humour," the man murmured softly as he leaned in towards Tracey, "I believe we shall be great friends." At this he stood up fully and held out a hand for to shake. "The name is Hadrian, I must say that it is a pleasure to meet Lady Daphne's companions at last." Harry turned to Blaise and offered a smile, which turned into a frown as he watched the Italian harrumph, send a sneer in his direction before turning away.

"That odd fellow, he seems to be incredibly attached to you," Harry began – nodding at Blaise, who reddened considerably as Harry nodded to Tracey, "Does this mean I cannot smite him?"

Blaise's face instantly drained of all colour, as he hurried out of the shop and began sprinting down the street, shoving several people out of his way as he ran.

A/N: And there we have it folks, my apologies again for taking so long. Distractions with work and people and my cat and doggo moving on – I appreciate your patience with waiting for this chapter.

Next time – Politics, Hogwarts, maybe some more of the Potters… and the introduction of the other schools! Woo!
