Aoi Hyoudou: Well, it looks the conclusion of the latest poll resulted in a three-way tie between Dragon Ball Super, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. So, expect those series to be the next three chapters moving forward. Without further ado, enjoy Dragon Ball Super!

Saiyans are Monkeys?

"Rocks, rocks and more rocks!" Ash found himself standing in the middle of the nowhere on a random planet, miles and miles away from any civilization. Judging by his surroundings with giant canyons, boulders and craters, it seems he stumble upon some sort of undisclosed, training location. He hoped he didn't show up at a bad time.

"Hey you!" an obnoxious female voice called out from behind, which startled the young teen. "Who are you and why are you here? This is our spot!" Caulifla growled.

Ash turned around and noticed a young girl was glaring at him with her arms crossed. She was wearing a low cut magenta tube top, low-set purple harem pants, long dark grey wristbands, and a pair of pointy dark grey shoes. Her black hair was long, wild, and spiky.

Alongside her were her comrades; a young, slim build male in a silver plating armor outfit with brown armbands, a brown belt and purple shoes with grey soles. His black hair was also spiky with one bang hanging over his forehead. The other comrade was her apprentice; a dark-skinned young girl in a red cropped shirt, a red skirt with a brown belt attached along with a silver circular buckle and a pair of black compression shorts underneath. She also wore a pair of golden boots with red tips, along with golden bracelets that covered her wrists and most of her forearms and a pair of golden hoop earrings.

"Oh, uh, I'm Ash and I just got here by accident." Caulifla's eyebrow twitched in annoyance by the latter's clumsy answer.

The female Saiyan walked up to the Pokémon Trainer and got into his face with another glare, invading his personal space. Ash was sweating a bit by their close eye contact, but then she backed off and gave him one quick look before saying something really weird. "So, you're a Saiyan too, huh? You look pretty weak."

Ash blinked in confusion. "A...what now?"

Caulifla gave him a weird look. "A Saiyan, moron. You're a Saiyan, aren't you?"

"Um, I'm not sure, to be quite honest."

Caulifla frowned.

"Wait, you don't know if you're a Saiyan?" Cabba walked up with Kale following right behind. He had a puzzled expression on his face.

"I would be lying if I said no, right?" Ash said with a sigh.

"Uh, well..." Cabba didn't know what to say. This was the first time he heard such a thing.

"But weren't you born on Sadal?" Kale asked with her timid voice.

"Like I said earlier, I got here by accident." Ash repeated his earlier answer, drawing more confused looks from the trio, which didn't go unnoticed. "And before any of you even ask, I don't know how either." He sighed again.

"So...Saiyans are monkeys?" Cabba was kind enough to give their weird other world visitor a crash course lesson about Saiyans and when he was finished, it simply left Ash so speechless.

"Well...in layman's terms, yes." Cabba said with a sweat drop.

"But you guys look like normal people."

"And what's wrong with us looking like that, huh?" Caulifla glared sharply at Ash who flinched.

"Uh, well...if what Cabba said is true and Saiyans are from a race of monkeys, shouldn't you guys have tails?"

"Hmm...you got a point."

"Well, that's because we evolved differently from most Saiyans in different universes." Cabba explained.

"Wait! There are more of you guys?!" Ash looked baffled.

Everyone sweat dropped.

"Cabba just said there were different universes after all." Caulifla said with a deadpan expression.

"Oh, right." Ash laughed sheepishly. Caulifla groaned with a facepalm. "That explains why you thought I was a Saiyan. Because I had black hair."

"We didn't mean to." Kale said quietly.

"But it does make you a stereotype."

"I'm sorry!" Kale squeaked, tears forming in her eyes.

"Hey! Leave her alone!" Caulifla growled.

"I-I'm just saying." Ash said nervously, not wanting to feel an angry wrath from Caulifla. "To think...Saiyans are monkeys. That sounds a bit weird."

"Now who's being a stereotype here!" Caulifla retorted with a glare.

"Sorry."

"Caulifla, why are you being so mean to Ash?" Cabba frowned at his fellow Saiyan, in which he received a glare of his own from her.

"That's because you're supposed to be teaching us how to become a Super Saiyan, you little idiot!" She practically yelled in his face, which made him cower in fear. "Thanks to Ashy-boy here, those plans are ruined!"

"Maybe I should-"

"No!" Ash froze in place when Caulifla marched up and grabbed his shirt. "Since you decided to show up and spoiled our training, I'm going to use you as my sparring partner!"

"Wait, what?!" It was too late. Caulifla was already dragging him by his shirt collar. "Ow, ow, ow, ow! Hey, stop it! Help!"

A jealous Kale and a baffled Cabba just stood by and watched as the poor teen was being dragged off against his will to who knows where by Caulifla.

"Uh, what just happened?" Cabba asked.

Poor Ash. Sometimes bad timing will lead to serious consequences. xD Someday, I will go back and do a proper Pokémon x DB Super crossover.
