The Avatars Wings

Book I- Light

Chapter VI- Research

Sarah's book turns as she reads, "The power of a Dual Avatar is great, sometimes even exceeding the welder of the dragon flame-The only physical being that can have both Magic and the traditional art of bending, even more so with the four elements." Sarah's eyes widen, "Together, they keep peace and balance within elementia and most often the magic universe." Her red eyes widen at these few simple words. She couldn't believe what she was reading, no she did believe it. She turned another page, as candles lit the darkroom.

"The Avatars are reincarnations of the previous Avatar in a line. Elementian's call this the Dual Avatar cycle, going from Fire, Air, Water, and Earth. The opposite for the second line, Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. Most often their power is wielded by sheer power. They are the human embodiment of Raava's light and power. It is considered a duty to not only learn the art of bending but magic, most notably in light magic, to keep the peace not only between different living creatures, but humans and the spirit world."

The Witch of the Black Moon becomes fascinated with this information. She continues forward, trying to learn her enemy.

Sarah throughout the day studied the history of the Dual Avatars. Raelynn looks at her sister witch with a side-eye. "What are you doing?"

"Simple, studying our enemy." She flips through a page with her magic. "We have to know their weak points before we actually strike." She leans her head on her palm, still flipping through pages. "There is a spell to remove a person's powers with our vacuums, but I'm not sure that it would work entirely."

"It should, we need to rip this power out of their hands," Raelynn says adamantly about their plan. "We are stronger than any other witch in this damn school. We can take their precious little bending and magic from their heart and soul."

"I know sister, and we will. However, I have a concern, why hasn't anyone tried it before? The Dual Avatars power seems to be respected and no one has dared to take it in history. Trying to kill them, yes, numerous times. Taking their power?" Raelynn washed this doubt like a bug in her heel, quickly and with utmost aggression.

"It doesn't matter, we will be the first in history to do so. We will be unstoppable, with bending and magic, it is our duty, our mission to destroy the Avatars. Have you forgotten who we are?" She whispers harshly.

"No."

"Then why worry? We have the power and tools to do so." She flips her hair confidently, letting her long locks speak for themselves. Sarah is a little hesitant on this plan, unlike Raelynn, she could see the missing pieces. Though she is power-hungry, she is also reasonable. All she could do was let out a small yet deep sigh of relent. She trusted her sister Raelynn but she knew how far she would go without thought.

A red futuristic bullet train speeds through an elevated railroad, as people pass through the bridge. The metropolitan city Magix's was booming as usual. Being the capital planet of the magical dimension has its perks. Wan's hands are in his hoodie pockets thinking about the two witches that attacked him in the test, it was strange, to say the least. His mind couldn't stop even thinking about it. Korra quickly noticed Wan being in deep thought, he wasn't normally like this. She lightly taps his shoulders, trying to gain his attention again.

"Wan?"

Wan snaps out of his thoughts, turning to the other Avatar "Ugh, Sorry Kor. I just was thinking." Wan rubs the back of his neck. "The witches that attacked me that is. What do they actually want?"

"I wouldn't think about it too much, they were probably just there to torment you." Korra waves it off as nothing but what witches do. Wan hums for a moment. "Wait, isn't that Bisho?" Kaiyo says pointing at the black-haired boy with ocean blue eyes. Amy's eyes widen as her heart thumps faster, "Hide me." Amy whispers to Hoku, who simply smirks. Logan then yells out, "Bisho!"

The specialist looks over and gives a big smile especially to Amy who was furiously blushing. Beside Bisho is Asami Sato, who waved as well. Amy her face and waved back. "You guys are mean." Amy sighs, crossing her arms. "He's probably dating Asami Sato," She pouts even more, "Look how gorgeous she is."

"Nah." Korra pats Amy's back, "She's probably just a good friend, if she was dating him she would probably let you see it."

Amy smiles at this, "Thanks Korra." Amy looks up at the sky. In the evening, Amy practiced a little on creating an Althren crystal. Her hands move in eloquent movements, the magic dancing in sync with her hands. With a flick of her index finger, the crystal began to take shape. Her pastel green magic swirls around her. Amy waved her hand up, breathing in deeply keeping her focus. Soon the crystal grew to the length of her palm. It was a vibrant blue and yellow. Amy breaths out, creating that crystal took a bit of energy, but she had improved.

Korra runs up to the ball, hitting it over the goal. Sandra takes two steps back and bats the ball back. Korra and her team were against team B of the Alfea volleyball team. Korra quickly rose through the ranks due to her athletic skills. Korra finished up wiping her forehead with a towel, sitting on a bench. Sandra smiles holding out her hand. "Not a bad game."

Korra smiles and shakes it, "Thank you, you're not bad yourself."

Sandra looks over, "That guy you hang out with, he's kinda cute."

"Who Wan?"

"Yeah, you know, I mean, can you give his number?'

Korra in the back of her mind wanted to say anything mean, sure she wasn't dating Wan but deep inside her heart she felt protective.

"Ugh, I don't think Wan is interested in dating, he's too busy studying." Korra coughs, Sandra blinks at the Avatar Fairy, she could tell her true feelings. "Oh- Well, never mind."

Kaiyo sees Logan getting out of class, Kaiyo breaths in and walks beside Logan. "Hey." Kaiyo walks beside the ice fairy. "Oh, hey Kaiyo." Logan gives a slight smile.

"So how was class today?" Kaiyo asks.

"Same old, same old," Logan responds

Kaiyo rubs her neck, "The history of magic is really interesting, especially Elemnatian magic."

"Oh yeah, magic can be used to enhance someone's bending and other forms of magic." Kaiyo explains, "Oh, I thought magic and bending can't mix unless you're the Dual avatars.'

"Yes, but enhancing is different, like a spell that makes the Chi paths stronger." Kaiyo explains, "Sometimes, a Magi can take away someone's bending temporarily. There is also a form for each nation."

"Wow, Elemntian magic is complicated. Like, it's an elaborate web of both bending and culture."

Kaiyo giggled, "Yeah, be glad it isn't a course here. Or you guys are all doomed." Logan actually laughs at this, wholeheartedly. Kaiyo laughs too. Kaiyo blushed her face dark pink. "Anyway...I should go now." Kaiyo excused herself, "Class, and stuff."

"Right, I'll see you later." Logan waves at the girl running to class.

Bisho does several of punches at the punching bag. Asami smirks, "You know, you should ask that Amy girl out." Asami says while also training.

"What, you mean Amy?"

"Yes, I said her name. She's really sweet." Asami kicks a punching doll, "She seems to really like you."

"Yeah, I like her too but-"

"Here we go." Asami puts her hands on her hips. "I don't know, I'm worried we'll only be friends."

"Just go for it." Asami says softly. Bisho looks up and sighs.
