After Sandy brought the head of the Peace Keepers his mount, he wasted no time bitching about how poorly he'd been kept up from the days before he left him at the stables. Sandy pointed out that she, and her family, had only token over this morning but that didn't stop tall angry man from continuing to bitch about meaningless issues... that was until her father walk up to interrupt them.
"Howdy, there sir!" Dean called out a bit worried as he approached his daughter than the law man. "Is there a problem here? I'd be glad ta fix it if that's da case." He gave his best fake smile to the hedgehog who just looked down at him blankly... his lips almost snarling in anger at his interruption of his current interaction.
"No. I think we've finally got things sorted out, right miss?" Shadow asked grumpily to the younger female squirrel.
"Wow... I finally got promoted ta miss instead of girl... I'm really on a roll here." She scowled at him only to get an intimidating grin back from him.
Shadow jumped up on his mount and looked down at her still grinning. "Maybe if you find a way to keep that mouth of yours inline you might make it here until the winter... Miss." The hedgehog tuned his attention ahead of him as he nudged his mount to more forward slowly.
"The names Sandy!" The female yelled out at him. To her surprise he stopped his Chocobo and looked back at her sternly.
"Shadow." Was all he said before he turned to look before him and edging his mount on to continue their patrol.
"Baby girl, what are ya doing?!" He father demanded as he pulled her aside to scorn her.
Sandy looked down and grinned before looking up at her father still happy. "Just making a new friend."
Dean looked at her confused before sighing and dragging her by the arm to the main stables. "Maybe ya could be nicer ta yer new friends, or even choose 'em better." He sighed as they finally returned to the daily work that was waiting for them.
After some time, the family made their way to the mess hall to pick up lunch and eat with the other and then some hours last did the same for dinner. Sandy way enjoying herself as her family continued to make more friends, but she was a bit caught off guard as she went to put her dirty dishes away only to see Shadow watching her from a distance again. She rolled her eyes and then entered the hall to drop off what she needed too before heading back outside and attempting to ignore him. That was until he started walking up to her, almost running, and then finally calling out her name causing her to stop and look back at him in a pissy manor.
Sandy stopped and then looked over her shoulder as he jumped over a fenced area and made his way to her. "Shadow. I was hoping we finally got our fill of one another." She then looked him up an down a bit alarmed to seem him so calm and not in his usual intimidating stance.
"I need you to come with me." He insisted only getting an annoyed look from her.
"Go to hell!" She said to him as she turned her back and walk back to her family.
"It's to settle things. Neither of us could go all out, and I want to take us somewhere where we can. Not a fight to the death, but a fight to prove who is really in power." Shadow folded his arms as he looked at her intently. Shadow scoffed. "You're not the only one that had to hold back, miss."
"Ha!" Sandy started to laugh. "Talk about being a sore loser." She then leaned in and grinned at him. "Ya poor sad little man trapped in a golems body." She continued to snicker.
"I'll make you eat those words and much more." Shadow growled.
"Gross." She responded casing his face to go red in discomforted.
"I didn't mean... eh.."
"I know! Never met a man that could think of me in that way. Just had ta be a little exta mean... Ya really are a pushover under it all aren't ya?" She started to laugh again getting an annoyed look from him again.
"11:00 sharp where I found you. Or else you are just showing your submission." Shadow demanded and then walked off without giving her time to reply.
"Fuck ya too, hun!" She screamed out to him before thinking it through and seeing many others looking at her confused... She coughed lightly and then made her way back to her family table.
Sandy went to bed with her family all seemingly happy, and she waited for them to go to sleep. She was trying to count the hours herself to make it outside to prover herself to just another random alfa man asshole... bye the time she got up to meet him she saw she only had ten minutes to find him instead of the 30 she had been hoping for. So, she made her way to meet her in just her night gown...
Once he came into her sights, she wasn't surprised he turned around to greet her. Only a bit put off, likely to do with the clothing she was wearing.
"I thought I made it clear we were going to be fighting." Shadow brought up as he looked at her with disappointment. "However, if you're looking for another method to make amends, I'm not about to turn that down." His smile now turned to one of lust as his breath started to pick up quickly.
"Hell no!" Sandy shouted out causing the male to now frown a bit disappointed. "This is all I could get away in. Ya dummy!" She chastised him.
"Are you sure? I'd treat you well. Be as gentle as you like." He almost begged as his mind had suddenly been warped to sex instead of combat. He not begin almost panting as he moved closer to her causing her to step back.
"I will hurt ya if ya make me!" She warned seeming to cause Shadow to somewhat come to.
The hedgehog nodded his head in approval seeming now less thrilled about the fight as he looked at her longingly. "Sorry." He muttered still looking her body up and down despite her loose night gown. "You're one of a kind." He started again.
"Are you drunk?" Sandy now pressed with anger.
"Lonely." Shadow now sat down defeated before pulling out a flask and taking a drink of it again. "I thought you weren't like the others. I guess I was wrong." He breathed deep a few times before finishing off the last of his flask and placing it in his inner vest breast pocket.
