Flashback
Kagome settled easily in the Village of Edo, they built a hut for her near the Sacred Tree of Ages. She would occasionally be visited by Shippo after his exam, retelling her all the events in his school. Sometimes, she would go to the hut of Kaede to spend time with her. Ever since, Kagame was reinstated to be the priestess of the village, Kaede retired, she would go to help other mothers in delivering their child, or go to another village while being escorted by Inuyasha, to purify evil demons who ransack their homes.
'I'm really happy for Inuyasha, Kagame was a great girl. She was kind and pretty as well, I hope their relationship blossoms . Well, aside from our name being similar ,in somewhat, I also hope he would treat her nicely'
Giggling at her thoughts of Inuyasha being a little shy, she walked outside of her hut and towards the Sacred Tree of Ages. Putting her hands on its trunk.
'I'm thankful to you, for giving me comfort, and for being a reminder of my time. I really miss Mama, Souta, and Grandpa, I hope they were doing well despite me being gone.'
Smiling at the mark embarked on the tree, she remembers Inuyasha being pinned in that place, feeling them, while she reminisces about past events.
'After removing the seal arrow, that's where my journey starts, I'm thankful for meeting all of these wonderful people'
Far away from her, a watchful brown eyes continue to observe her every move, smirking, thinking of her plan that would soon succeed.
After visiting the Sacred Tree of Ages, she resumed strolling towards the well. Looking at it, she observed the quiet place, wind blew her wavy ebony hair. Walking towards it, she heard someone call her name.
"Kagome!"
"Lady Kagome!"
Turning towards the person, she turns to see Miroku and Shippo walking towards her.
"Hey, Mister Miroku, Shippo!"
Nearing her, Shippo jumps to hug her, teary eyed as he looks at her. While, Miroku sports a serious face.
"Kagome, are you going back?"
"No, why would you ask that? I decided to live here now, besides, the well became dormant already."
Rubbing his back, to cease his sobbed. She saw Miroku let out a breath and turn towards her.
"What are you guys doing here? Has something happened to Sango?"
Worried, she turned to Miroku. Meanwhile, someone started chanting, as she would set her plan in motion.
"Oh no, Kagome was just here to fetch you, because we did not see you in your hut, there would be a feast at the village."
"Oh I see!"
"Kagome, you won't ever leave me?"
Turning to Shippo, she smiled.
"Yes Shippo, I really can't return anymore or pass through it, so I will be staying here now and forever."
After saying those words, a person suddenly floats in front of her, pushing Shippo away from her in reflex. The person - more like a girl - has red hair styled in a high ponytail, wearing a red kimono paired with yellow obi while she remains barefooted. The girl smiled at her before pushing her, never realizing she was near the well, stumbling backward and into the well.
"You are wrong about one thing, Ka-go-me!"
Looking at the girl, she smiled and mouthed something at her. However, cannot hear it, as the only sound she heard was the scream of her friends trying to reach for her, before closing her eyes as a light enveloped her.
Walking outside the garden, Kagome strolled around, admiring the plants and flowers of this castle. She remembers that after their arrival in the Wall, her Captain was summoned by their Commander, she thought that she would undergo the interrogation already, seeing Eld giving her a sympathetic look. However, as they finished their dinner, they were assembled inside the barracks for the important announcements.
Commander Erwin notified Levi that they would go inside Wall Sheena, as, they were needed inside the castle.
'And so here I am'
Getting lost in the place, Kagome face palmed and went through every door. She realized, she was inside the library, going through the books, she saw something glowing, thinking that it was an illusion, she checked once more, and found a worn book place at the edge of the shelves, opening them.
"If ever you are reading this, this is a story of a time traveling priestess, she was a dear to us and so I dedicated this book to her. Thanking her for all what she did to us. If ever, you meet her please bring this book to her, I don't know when she will come, time can only tell, her name is - was Kagome. Our dearest Sister."
- Miroku
Sobbing, she hugged the book feeling their love poured in every word they said to her. Deciding to put this book on her small backpack, and reading it later in her room. Getting out of the room, she backtracked her steps and went back into the garden, she saw someone waiting for her there.
"Captain Levi, sir!"
"Tsk, went lost Higurashi?"
Scratching her head as she tries to cover it with her laugh. Levi looked at her as he noticed below her eyes were evidence of her crying earlier, sighing, he turned his back on her.
"Let's go"
"Sir, yes sir!"
Arriving at their headquarters successfully, they were sent again by Commander Erwin to scout outside. Levi looked at his members and decided to tell them about their conversation inside the castle.
"When we were summoned 2 days ago in the castle, I was told that we should stay here for 3 years, as you can see we brought a lot of things here, evidence of those large packs placed on the cart outside. For every month, we will scout and go back to the Wall to report. If you don't have any questions, that will be all"
"Yes, Captain Levi!"
Dismissing them, to retire for the night, as a new task was laid upon them for the next years to come.
Meanwhile, a 15-years old child was seen wearing a cadet uniform standing with his other mates, they formed a formation outside their barracks. His teal eyes shone, looking forward in saving humanity and bringing back the Wall Maria.
