NARUTO'S APARTMENT
*ring* *ring*
Naruto turned off the alarm brushed his teeth and opened the curtains it was pitch black, just the way he liked it.
6 hour's later
Naruto was back in his apartment went in a shower to dry the paint off took a small nap to replenish and went for some morning training,
He arrived at the training grounds and started on his Taijutsu, His combo's focused on strength over speed and were difficult to counter because he kept moving and changing passe as well as rotating.
Next was Ninjutsu, he had created hid very own "(Uzumaki Naruto style: Chakra burst)" He put his hands in the ram seal and chakra enveloped his body (think of it like TEN from HXH but blue), it increased his strength, speed, chakra molding (less hand sings for Jutsu and reduces the charging time for chakra) and reaction speed, but it took a load out of his chakra but he had a lot of chakra so it was fine
His (water style: liquid bullet Jutsu) was getting better and larger.
Naruto was never good at genjutsu but his clone Jutsu, at least it could talk... the words " e" ... Not very good.
Naruto's fuinjutsu was coming along fine, he was making paper bombs, wind seals, fire seals and even created a Jutsu (Uzumaki fuinjutsu style: kunai cyclone) it was a kunai that was surrounded by wind chakra that was spinning rapidly like a cyclone and even cut through rock.
Naruto tested out his Jutsu and trained on them until he had to go to the academy, it was the graduation exam, there were three graduations for the third year one a couple of months after the begging of the semester one in the middle and one at the end. if you passed at least one of the exams you would wait until the end of the year to be put on a genin team.
the most logical choice would be to wait so you can gather up all the info and training you could then go for the exam at the end.
Naruto was on his way to the academy when Iruka jumped down from the tree's "NARUTO!, DID YOU PAINT ON THE HOKAGE STONE FACES, again," Naruto had become the ultimate prankster of Konoha from the blonde demon to the orange prankster.
He had a completely new wardrobe now, mainly consisting of a burnt dark orange zipped hoodie with the Uzumaki clan symbol on the back (which he kept unzipped), a dark blue t-shirt underneath the hoodie, burnt orange pants and blue sandals, and his signature goggles on his forehead.
"Sorry sensei I don't know what you're talking about I was training, for graduation" Naruto replied putting his hands behind his head and looking away.
"well, if we don't find out who did it then we might have to post pond the graduation exam to find the culprit" "I'm sorry Iruka sensei I did it" "Thought so" Naruto was pretty easy when it came to the graduation, he REALLY wanted to graduate.
ACADEMY
Naruto arrived and sat down in his seat, he was able to use the transformation Jutsu with no hand sings (he mainly used it for sexy Jutsu)
and the substitution with no hand sings so they were a cakewalk
He scored high on the written exam and the physical exam.
next was ninjutsu
Naruto's name was called so he gulped and entered the room, "Naruto" Mizuki called "perform the substitution Jutsu" Iruka ordered.
Naruto didn't even pull his hands out of his pockets and a log appeared in his place, "very good Naruto, extra points" Iruka cheered for his favorite student.
"Transformation, now" Mizuki interrupted, Naruto transformed into the Third Hokage "Is this correct Iruka Sensei" Naruto's voice and posture looked Identical to the Third Hokage 'Damn I wouldn't be surprised if that was actually lord Hokage' Iruka thought to himself.
"Now, Naruto clone Jutsu" Naruto's happy mood turned serious. he took his hands out of his pockets molded his chakra went through the hand seal's and said "(clone Jutsu)" Naruto's clone was a slob completely useless and a disgrace.
"Naruto I'm sorry but no points," Mizuki said and Iruka agreed "But, you have proven yourself worthy of a headband you worked really hard and aced everything else but you will be pretty low on the rankings" Iruka left Naruto on a good note.
The results came back and thank's to every teacher who wanted him to fail he was dead last.
Yes, the great Naruto Uzumaki was dead last, his friends tried to cheer him up. he was at a bit of a low, then.
"Hey, Naruto I know you were at a bit of a low but I know of a way that could get you straight to chunin" Naruto looked up to see Mizuki with a massive smile.
Naruto couldn't resist this offer "yeah sure what do I need to do?".
IN THE FOREST
Naruto escaped into the forest, with the scroll of seals on his back, when Mizuki first explained the plan he was skeptical, he went along with it.
He spent the entire day looking at the map and the plan, then he realized 'Mizuki wants the scroll for himself' Naruto would play along and he could copy the scroll of seals for some new Jutsu or better yet hand Mizuki a fake scroll, GENIUS.
Naruto practiced the first Jutsu for about an hour and then copied some Jutsu from the scroll onto another scroll.
He copied a couple of Jutsu that required the shadow clone as a basis, (explosive clone Jutsu)(shadow shuriken Jutsu)(multiple explosive tag Jutsu) were the three ones ho copied down he discovered another one and just finished copying it down.
"AH HA found you naruto" Iruka was standing in front of Naruto huffing and puffing "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING STEALING THAT SCROLL, ITS FORBIDDEN FOR A REASON"
Naruto was shocked "Wait, Mizuki sensei said that if I stole the scroll of sealing and learned a Jutsu from it I could become a chunin,".
It was Iruka's turn to be shocked now 'why would Mizuki tell Naruto to steal the scroll-' Iruka's experience as a Ninja and heightened sense's told him to grab Naruto and push him out the way.
Naruto found himself on the ground and Iruka pinned up against a wooden hut, 'Mizuki is already here damn I wanted to at least tell Iruka of my plan first, shit'
Mizuki appeared on top of a tree "Iruka why would you go so far as to protect the blonde demon the same demon that killed your parents?"
"Huh what do you mean I killed Iruka's parents they died in the nine-tails attack" Naruto didn't expect this
"Ohh, after all this time you still don't know well... think of this as your last lesson on who the nine-tails is? your smart Naruto, think of your birthday"
Naruto thought of his birthday it was the day of the Kyuubi festival... the day the Kyuubi was defeated by the fourth Hokage "B-But the Hokage killed the demon" "That's not true it was sealed, inside of a baby blonde-haired boy"
"Naruto..." "N-No Mizuki, DONT DO IT!" "You are the nine-tailed fox" Those words repeated in Naruto's head, over, and over and over.
Naruto was shaking, and in a moment of panic fled, Mizuki tried to chase after him, But Iruka punched him right in the face and the two got into a Taijutsu brawl.
Naruto looked back only to see two blurs clashing 'damn this is how a ninja fights, I gotta get out of here...' Naruto took one last look back 'But what if... Iruka sensei doesn't make it '
Naruto looked closely from the trees to see the match the two Chunin were having.
Mizuki was slowly getting the advantage over Iruka due to the shuriken wounds he inflicted before the fight, Iruka was getting slower and fatigued faster due to the damage.
Mizuki aimed a strike towards Iruka's stomach, which Iruka blocked, then a high kick to Iruka's face, ducked by the chunin, 'He's wide open now' Iruka landed an uppercut at Mizuki and then a kick to the stomach.
Mizuki grinned as he threw a Kunai at Iruka, the chunin was unable to doge and got hit in the gut, " *cough* damn you Mizuki *cough* you won't get away with this *cough*"
"Are those gonna be your famous last words? pfft, what a joke indeed Iruka" the way Mizuki said Iruka was filled with anger and venom.
Mizuki pulled out a fuma shuriken, "Ill show Naruto your head, no body thought that can burn with the tree's" Mizuki threw the Fuma shuriken only to see "A log?" Iruka couldn't he was vulnerable and barely had the strength to move.
"I'll make you pay!" Naruto shouted Mizuki looked up to see the blonde demon "WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO HUH RELEASE THE KYUUBI"
"YOU already released a worse demon" Naruto put his index and middle finger's in a cross "(multi shadow clone Jutsu)" Naruto was surrounded by 1,000 shadow clones with a massive grudge against Mizuki
ONE HOUR OF BEATING A MAN TO NEAR DEATH LATER
"I may have overdone it a little... a lot, but who cares anyway?" Naruto laughed and Iruka smiled.
"Well Naruto, I think it's safe to say that we made a mistake today," Iruka said with a serious look 'we?' Naruto was confused.
"you, for stealing the scroll" Naruto scratched his head "and me for underestimating you, your a very capable ninja, who will make the best Hokage of all time" Naruto froze, sure he wanted to be the Hokage one day but hearing it after out of Iruka, and just after the revelation of the Kyuubi, That set him straight on the path, a path he did not know where it would lead to but a path he knew he had to go down.
Because that path was the road to Hokage.
BACK AT THE HIDDEN LEAF
Naruto returned the secret scroll to the Hokage and went home for some rest, after that he began practicing the new Jutsu he got, he had a week to train until the teams were assigned.
He worked on the Jutsu he learned and combos with it, the Shadow clone Jutsu became his best one, and his favorite, Implanting an important part in his fighting style.
He used the shadow shuriken Jutsu as a base and with enough practice and research, he managed to re-create the shadow kunai Jutsu, which he soon found out was used by his idol the fourth Hokage.
Naruto took a stop at his favorite ramen place, Ichiraku ramen to celebrate his graduation (and Jutsu accomplishments).
"Hey, Naruto what do you fancy on this lovely evening?" Teuchi the owner who had been a great help to Naruto's mental health ever since the incident and before then asked with a huge smile.
"hmm I would like beef ramen with extra beef and 3 of today's special" Naruto pulled out a coupon for pork ramen at Ichiraku's "I would also like a pork ramen please". Teuchi had always sneaked Naruto a coupon when he was a kid, so he had tons and would only use them on special occasions.
"oh, Naruto how did the graduation test go?" Ayame the daughter if Teuchi asked. she was always like a cousin or a sister to Naruto and Teuchi had always been like an uncle towards Naruto, He didn't have a family but this was the closest thing he had to one at the moment.
"Yeah I passed, but I couldn't perform the clone Jutsu so I lost A LOT of my overall points because of that, If I hadn't scored high on the written exam and a perfect score on the physical and Shuriken throw then I would have probably failed, It sucks that I get ranked lower and I don't think its because of all the pranks" Naruto had caused a lot of pranks on the village for years 'is it because of the Kyuubi probably, Huh that's why they called me the blonde demon well, either way, its a cool nickname'
Ayame and Teuchi HATED it when Naruto got put down because of the Kyuubi, Ayame and Teuchi knew the fox was sealed in Naruto but didn't care, they learned to look past it, Ayame held a grudge at first because her mother died in the attack and her father almost died, but he was on no means an idiot and knew what fuinjutsu is and that the beast had no control over Naruto.
Naruto had a pleasant evening which got even better, "hey Naruto I never got to treat you out for passing graduation, mind if I do that now?" Iruka walked up to the stall and took the always empty seat beside Naruto.
"Well? what would you like?" "Hmm I think the meat feast" Naruto replied
"wanting to drain Iruka's wallet today Naruto," Ayame said with a little chuckle, "poor Iruka" Teuchi said with a somber tone"
"Nah, not today at least" the gods had shown mercy on the chunin who barely escaped bankruptcy.
"Well Naruto I think tomorrow you're going back to the academy, this will be your last night as an academy student tomorrow you will be a full fledge genin" Iruka got a shock 'damn might have given a hint away, shit' Naruto caught on slightly and Ayame and Teuchi gave a nervous look at Iruka.
"Huh, what is that supposed to mean?" Iruka thought fast "Well you see you're not REALLY a genin until your doing missions and being out on the field doing missions" Iruka saved himself from Ayame's wrath, her father didn't tell her about the second test when she became a genin, and if Naruto found out she would be pissed. Jealous sure, but really just pissed.
Naruto could sense some tension in the air (didn't know why but not willing to let it stay) "well, since I'm a genin now I can't do any more pranks from what Iruka said back in the academy... so how about I tell you THE TALE OF THE GREAT PRANKSTER OF KONOHA!" he said it in a way that reminded him of his favorite book 'tale of the utterly gutsy Ninja'
Naruto confessed all of his pranks and the ramen stand had never been louder with laughter.
NARUTO'S APARTMENT
after going to the ramen stand and telling his pranks Naruto got scolded by Iruka but calmed down right after, He looked towards his cabinet to his photos, he had one with Kiba, Hinata, and Naruto himself all messing around.
Another with Ino and him because Ino found some cameras and wanted to spend some time with him and one where Naruto had his many, many matches with Sasuke they were about on even footing, Naruto and Sasuke never admitted it but they always kept count of how many matches they had and who was in the lead, at this point there were 1,706 matches in total with there being 1000 draws and Naruto won 353 and Sasuke won 353.
'Shit we're on the same score' Naruto and Sasuke thought at the same time.
Naruto went to bed early getting some much-needed rest from his intense training.
ACADEMY GENIN TEAMS
Naruto walked into the academy with his orange windbreaker zipped open with some scrolls attached to the inner pockets and a blue undershirt, as well as some orange pants, are also having scrolls attached to them. Each scroll was clour labeled, blue: storage, red: kunai and shuriken, white: trap-making equipment, green: pre-made seals, and orange: a scroll that had some food pills.
Naruto took his seat next to Hinata and waited for Kiba to show up, Naruto seen Sasuke come in, the two made eye contact and Naruto approached Sasuke "Hey, Sasuke how about a spar, I want to test some new Jutsu on you,"
Sasuke would be lying if he said he wasn't siked up by this, "Ok, Naruto what did you have in mind" Sasuke moved ever so closer to Naruto, Naruto did the same
"Oh maybe a training grounds after the genin team's get set up or... maybe a little while after getting a new training regiment and some new Jutsu, any time before the next Chunin exams" Naruto and Sasuke were a couple of inches away from each other.
Hinata was watching her hero challenge Sasuke to a fight again, although with the training she Kiba and Naruto were doing he was eager to settle the score. 'WHY IS SASUKE SO CLOSE TO NARUTO' Sakura thought, she was jealous of Naruto, he got more attention from Sasuke than her.
some of the boys decided to pull a small prank on the blonde demon/prankster of Konoha.
Naruto was glaring at Sasuke sizing him up until *smooch*.
The entire class was in shock, one minute the two boys created an aura that reeked of intense battle and a rivalry that seemed to have lasted over a century, the next they were kissing each other.
Hinata was mortified, Naruto and she didn't have their first kiss, Sasuke was Naruto's first kiss, she seemed like she was gonna cry.
Kiba walked into the class with no context of what happened seen Naruto and Sasuke kiss and Hinata about to burst into tears and thought 'fuck this shit I'm out' then waited outside of class, there was a massive racket going on, He heard the girls squealing sounding like there fairy tale had come true, Sakura yelling Naruto!, Naruto screaming and Hinata saying " (8 trigrams 32 palms)" in a scary voice and then a boy screaming.
Glad he wasn't in there decided to remake his entrance, Akamaru was scared of the Hyuga from the screams of the boys but knew that she wasn't going to do anything to him. Naruto and Sasuke came bolting out of the classroom holding their mouths like they were gonna be sick and ran to the nearest toilet.
there were four groups in the class, 1: of them was laughing their asses off, 2: were the group of Naruto and Sasuke fangirls who joined up on this single occasion to beat the crap out of the boy's who stole their crushes first kiss 3: were the girls who liked Naruto and Sasuke equally and thought the two of them together were perfect, Sasuke was like really hot, cool, edgy and was a bad boy and Naruto was cute with his little foxy grin, kind, optimistic, compassionate, and always paid people attention. They were opposites but together they looked so hot, some of the girls had a nose bleed just remembering the kiss 4: were the ones who were knocking on death's door and even death had sympathy for how much pain they were enduring.
Iruka walked into the classroom expecting a class of academy students well behaved and stepping their game up to the proper genin standards, how disappointed he was, He found a group of kids that barely passed covered in bruises, Naruto and Sasuke sitting at opposite ends of the class with small blushes of embarrassment, Hinata releasing killer intent and the others were either girls giggling with a small nose bleed or males laughing like they were high.
"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE!?" all the students straightened up, "you know what I don't even want to know at this point, all I'm going to tell you is that your genin now, so don't make idiotic mistakes. I will begin by stating your team's then you can talk to each other, or do whatever until lunch... which is in 30 minutes." Iruka then went through the role call.
"... Team 7: will consist of Naruto Uzumaki," Everyone paid attention all with different thoughts
'I don't want to be on the blonde demon's team, screw that.' Most of the boy's thought and coward
'I want to be on Naruto's team then we could go on a date' Most of the girls prayed
'Please say me next, PLEASE' Hinata almost went on her knee's
'Oh, my turn' Naruto perked up
'Naruto, he would be one to push me and the only one who won't slow me down' Sasuke monologed
"Sasuke Uchiha," Iruka called out the second member of team 7.
All the girls had their hands in a praying position, hoping they could be on THAT team, it was a team made for HEAVEN.
All the boys thought the exact opposite.
'Wow, Sasuke's on my team, it's like they put the team of the two biggest and strongest students' Naruto couldn't help but chuckle, Sasuke smirked 'fighting with and against Naruto, he will definitely be helpful in some situations and can handle himself'
"... and Hinata Hyuga" Iruka finally said, for what felt like forever (the team re-arrangements will be explained, I mean who wouldn't want Hinata on team 7? yeah I'm gonna skip the rest Sakura is on team 8 btw)
Hinata was overjoyed and she and Naruto looked at each other and smiled.
'LUCKY!' all the girls cried in their heads.
LUNCH
"Hey, Hinata how about we eat lunch at Ichraku's, If Sasuke wants to join us he can come," Naruto said, as he walked up to Hinata, she had a bento.
"ahh I see you already have lunch-" "N-no Ill come with you, I can share my bento with you if you want after like as desert since this bento is m-mostly sweet foods," Hinata said not wanting to miss a moment with her crush.
Naruto was taken aback by the sudden loudness but still went along with it and smiled "Ok, I'll look for Sasuke, be right back,".
Hinata was flustered and breathing heavily so she needed some time alone to calm herself, Her hands were shaking and her body was heavy but she was calming down nicely.
Some girls saw what happened and were fuming, THEY wanted to be asked out not HER, why did she get to have Naruto and Sasuke all to herself, sooo unfair.
The girls walked out and up to Hinata, at first, the Hyuga was surprised by the sudden appearance, but then asked "H-hello can I h-help you?" the girls had a mean look on their face "yeah you can by switching teams with one of us, you don't deserve Sasuke or Naruto, fight us and if we win you have to give us your place on team 7"
The fight lasted three seconds, Hinata knocked them out one by one with her mixed gentle fist, she got her mixed style from Naruto who used her flexibility to her advantage of dodging and countering, it was at first no good at offense but they mixed some punches and kicks in there.
Her clan was at first shocked, but when she demonstrated it in combat, it proved to be quite effective her getting applaud from her father, Her sister Hanabi worked harder to make herself as good as her older sister, or better.
Hinata sighed and then Naruto showed up with Sasuke, "Hey Hinata, Sasuke agreed to come alon- What happened here" Hinata flustered but composed herself "W-well these girls w-wanted my spot on t-team 7 b-because you two were cool and hot and c-cute and they were jealous" Hinata stuttered, Naruto sighed and Sasuke shook his head in disappointment.
"well let's get going I'm starved," Naruto rushed off grabbing Hinata's hand, Sasuke ran behind them.
off to Ichiraku ramen they went and had a lovely meal...
sorry this took so long my internet cut out, I will explain why Hinata got put on team 7 instead of Sakura in the next Chapter (I know just saying Sakura was a crap character in part 1 is good enough but there's a bit more to it,) but with the new time skip comes some new Stats
