A/N: Welcome back to Love Amongst the Strawberries! Sorry it's been a while, but I've had a lot going on. But still, I have persevered, and delivered to you Chapter 7 - A New Day. Enjoy!

Chapter 7 - A New Day

Since the dates they had went on, Adam and Jamie had lived a relatively peaceful life for the next couple of weeks, happily spending time with their new girlfriends, as well as the rest of their ever-expanding circle of friends. However, as you can probably predict, trouble would eventually rise, and it all started one particular day...

The morning of the day in question...

BRING!

"Oh, hell to the no!" Jamie exclaimed, as he shot out of bed and grabbed the alarm clock. "Fuck that!" Winding his arm, he launched the device clean out of the open window of the dorm. After a few seconds, he heard a dull "THUNK!" as the clock connected with something, most likely a tree.

"Fucking hate those things!" He growled, before he looked to Adam, who was still asleep. "And he calls me lazy." He thought, reaching to rouse his brother, before stopping. "I'll let him lie. He starts school later than I do today." Retracting his arm, the elder brother cracked his neck, before looking to his watch. "Better get ready to meet Yaya." He thought internally, before picking up his uniform, and disappearing into the dorm's bathroom. However, he missed his brother stirring as he closed the door.

"Fuck sake, can't that prick be quiet in the mornings?" Adam growled to himself, as he pushed himself off his mattress. As he stood up, he stretched, only to sigh as he felt his back crack. "That's more like it!" He groaned, before he looked to the dresser that separated his bed and Jamie's. "Wait a fucking minute..." He said, when he noticed that something was missing...

"Where the fuck's the alarm clock?"

Down in the cafeteria...

"So, neither of you would have anything to do with an alarm clock being embedded in a tree, would you?" Shion asked, as she, Hikari, Yaya and Chikaru joined the brothers at their table, with the boy's girlfriends sliding into place beside their lovers.

"Yeah, one of us would know something about it." Adam said, shooting a glare towards Jamie, who simply looked away, whistling a brief tune. "Seriously, Jamie?" Yaya laughed out, as her boyfriend's cheeks grew slightly redder. "You could have hit someone, you know." Shion stated, before sighing. "I'll let you off with it this one time, but please don't do something like this again. Last thing we need is a student, or even worse, a teacher, being knocked unconscious by a flying alarm clock." She continued, causing Jamie to nod. "Fine." He said through clenched teeth. "Fucking hate those things..." he growled, causing the group to burst out laughing.

"So, what's everyone's plans for today?" Hikari asked, as the group got started on their food. "Well, I'm on consultations today. Been putting them off way too long." Adam said. "Yeah, I was starting to wonder." Chikaru said, drawing her boyfriend's attention. "I've hardly ever seen you in there the last few days." "Well, in my defence, I was spending time with the girl of my dreams." Adam said, causing Chikaru to blush brightly, and Jamie to make a gagging noise. "I think I'm gonna be sick." The elder brother said, before receiving an elbow to his side from Yaya. "Leave them alone. I think it's sweet." She said, before looking back to the other pair.

"Adam, we have company..." Chikaru said, making Adam look to the rest of the group. "So?" He asked, with a shit-eating grin on his face. "Alright, as funny as it is to watch Chikaru get one-upped for her teasing, I'll have to ask you to stop. We're starting to draw the wrong kind of attention." Shion stated, drawing the boy's attention to her. Without saying anything, the Student Council President of Spica jerked her thumb over her shoulder, drawing the group's attention to the rest of the cafeteria, where, sure enough, a few tables were staring at them. Sighing, Adam said, "Fine...", before returning his attention to his food. "But this is not over." He said, in a voice low enough that only Chikaru could hear him. Smiling, Chikaru looked back down to her food, even though she felt her cheeks heating up.

"Ah, crap." Yaya stated suddenly, making the group look to her. "We've got incoming." Looking back to the room, the group saw that Miyuki was walking towards them, with a tall, silver-haired woman following close behind her. "Shit..." Adam breathed, drawing his brother's attention. "Who's that?" Jamie asked, causing Adam to look to him. Leaning in close, the younger sibling whispered, "Tamao's 'love rival'." His eyes widening, Jamie said, "Shit...", just as Miyuki and the other girl reached their table.

"So, Miyuki, what can we do for you?" Shion asked, turning to face the newcomers. "Nothing, Shion. Shizuma here just wants to formally meet the brothers." The Miator student explained, looking to her companion. "As you know..." She started, gesturing to Jamie, "That one's Jamie, the older brother." Nodding, Shizuma shook Jamie's hand. "Pleasure to meet you." She said, causing Jamie to smile. "Pleasure's all mine, Miss..." He said, trailing off when he realised that he didn't know the girl's name. "Hanazono. Shizuma Hanazono. But you can just call me Shizuma." The new girl replied, before looking to Adam.

"Which brings us to..." Miyuki continued, only for Shizuma to cut her off. "You're Adam Robertson." She said, getting a nod from the boy before her. "That'd be me, Shizuma. Nice to meet you." He said, shaking the girl's hand, only to tense when he felt her hand grip his tightly.

"Ah...this'll be about that time I was talking with Nagisa. Seems this kitty's got claws." He thought, making sure to flash Shizuma a smile. "So, something tells me you're after something from us. Why else would the Étoile seek us out?" He asked, as she released his hand. "Étoile?" Jamie asked, causing Adam to look to him. "I'll explain later. Just know she's a big deal round here." The younger Robertson stated, getting a nod from his brother, before he turned back to Shizuma.

"Well, I'm glad you asked, Adam. The three schools are putting on a play soon. Carmen. Have you heard of it?" Miyuki asked, getting a nod from Adam. "Yeah, I've heard of it. Not a bad choice." He said, causing the gathered girls to smile. "Good, because I wanted to ask you and your brother to help us with construction of the stage. We premiere in three weeks." Miyuki said, before the brothers looked to each other, and after a moment of silent conversation, they nodded.

"Sure, we'll help. Can't today, though. I'm on consultations, and Jamie'll be working on his car." Adam stated, getting nods from Miyuki and Shizuma. "Very well. Tomorrow then?" Miyuki asked, causing Jamie to pipe up. "Tomorrow." He said with a nod, before both of the older girls took their leave.

"Right, I'm away. I'll catch yous all later." Adam said, as he finished his food. "Alright, catch you, bro." Jamie replied, smiling at the sight of Chikaru following Adam out of the room...

Later that day, outside...

"So, where exactly did you learn to drive, if you don't mind me asking?" Yaya asked, as she sat on a chair beside the Skyline, under which was Jamie, who was fiddling with a part of the car's undercarriage. "Vale. It's a small town in Scotland. My mum taught me, my brother and my sister how to ride. Said we'd need to at least know the basics. Everything else, we practically taught ourselves." The elder Robertson brother explained, before holding a hand out from under the car.

"There's a wrench in that toolbox beside you. Can you pass me it, please?" He asked, causing his girlfriend to quickly look to the aforementioned box, and nod. "Sure." She stated, passing him the requested tool. "You know, Adam was right. You do pay this car a lot of attention." She said, as Jamie tightened a bolt. "Well, this is my baby. It's saved my ass on more than one occasion, and..." He said, only to cut himself off. "Jamie? What's up?" Yaya asked, only to tense when her boyfriend pushed himself out from under the car, and fixed her with a sharp look.

"What do you mean, 'Adam was right'?" He demanded, causing Yaya to pale. "Shit, I forgot! Adam told me to make sure Jamie never found out I asked him for advice." She thought, as she backed away from Jamie. "I...I was talking to Adam a couple days ago, and he said it as a joke." She said, only for Jamie to raise an eyebrow at her stutter. "Liar." He said, before leaning in and trapping her by slamming one hand against the wall of the Strawberry Dorms. "Jamie, you're scaring me..." Yaya pleaded, looking up to look her boyfriend in the eye. "Then tell me what Adam and you were talking about, and I'll stop." Jamie replied, causing Yaya to hesitate, before looking down.

"I-I asked Adam for some advice before I worked up the courage to ask you out on our date. He told me how you work, and to be patient with you. He didn't mean any harm." She explained, causing Jamie's eyes to narrow.

"He's fucking dead." He spat, taking his hand off the wall, and stepping back. "Jamie?" Yaya asked, only to be met with silence as he threw the wrench to the ground, and stormed off into the Dorms. Immediately, Yaya was in pursuit, but she collided into someone when she crossed the threshold of the building, ending up on top of the other person on the floor.

"Ow..." the girl below Yaya groaned, making the Spica student look down. "Chikaru!" She exclaimed, causing the Le Rim President to look to her. "Yaya? What's wrong?" Adam's girlfriend asked, seeing the panicked expression on Yaya's face as she picked herself up.

"I've messed up. Jamie's on his way to attack Adam, and it's all my fault!" Yaya said, tears forming at the corners of her eyes. "Well, in that case, what we waiting for?" Chikaru asked, holding out a hand. "Let's go!" Nodding, Yaya took the offered hand, and followed Chikaru upstairs...

In the Consultation Room...

Thanks to the fact that he had no consultations at the present moment, Adam had taken the opportunity to catch up on some studying. Currently, he was working through a book that his class had been assigned to read. He was halfway through a chapter, when he decided to bookmark where he was, just as the door to the room slammed open, and his brother stormed in.

"So, trying to get my girlfriend to control me, Adam? Finally given up trying yourself?" The elder brother demanded, slamming his hands on the desk. To his credit, Adam didn't flinch at this sudden intrusion. He simply closed his book over, placed it in his bag, and leant back in his chair, just as Yaya and Chikaru made it to the door. "I have no idea what you're talking about, Jamie." He said in a calm tone, only for his brother to tighten his grip on the table.

"Cut the bullshit, Adam! You told Yaya how to exert control over me!" The elder brother spat, causing Adam to quickly look to the girl in question, who shook her head. Letting out a deep sigh, Adam rose to his feet. "No, you're misunderstanding. Yaya came to me for advice. All I told her was what she needed to know; You're a free spirit, your mind can't be changed when you put it to something, and every decision you make seems destined to piss me off somehow." He explained, making sure to keep his tone calm.

"So, you admit it. You want Yaya to control me, don't you?" Jamie spat, causing Adam to sigh. "Not control. Calm you down, maybe. I've spent more than enough time picking your ass out of the gutter. Now, if you'll excuse me, I got shit to do." He stated, before he packed his books into his bag, which he slung over his shoulder. Stepping past Jamie, he went to leave the room, only to stop when Jamie scoffed, and said...

"So, that's all the great and powerful Mentor has to offer, then? A few deflected accusations?"

Coming to a stop, Adam clenched a fist, as his bag slid off his shoulder. "What did you just say?" He asked, his voice adopting a dangerous edge. "You heard me. You used to be Adam Robertson, King of Vale! And now look at you!" Jamie said, looking round to his brother. Slowly, Adam turned back to face Jamie, but Chikaru could swear she saw his eyes flash red for a second.

"I'd recommend that you tread very fucking lightly, Jamie." He spat, making Jamie smirk. "Or what? You've gone soft, Adam." He shot back, which made Adam's eyebrow twitch, before he went to move forwards. Just as he went to bring his fist up, his arm was halted by Chikaru. "Don't. He wants you to attack." She said, making her boyfriend look to her. Slowly, he unclenched his fist, then looked back to Jamie.

"You're not worth it." He said, turning to leave again.

"You truly are pathetic, Adam. Doing the will of a girl, of all people. Mum would be disappointed." Jamie said, causing Adam to stop again. Breathing heavily, the younger brother quickly moved in a flash, leaping over the desk and tackling his brother. While his original intention was to slam him into the wall, his momentum was too powerful, and the pair instead went sailing straight through the window, falling to the ground below.

"ADAM!/JAMIE!" Chikaru and Yaya screamed, concerned for their respective boyfriend...

Outside...

"So, what's your plans for today, Nagisa?" Tamao asked, as she and her dorm mate exited the Dorms building in amongst a crowd of students. "I don't know, Tamao. I think I'll just head to the dorm and sleep after classes finish." The red-haired girl replied, causing a smirk to ghost across Tamao's face. "Well, I was wondering if..." She started to say, but unfortunately, she was cut off by the sound of glass shattering.

Looking up, the crowd managed to move out of the way, just in time for a pair of bodies to slam onto the roof of the parked Skyline, and one of them rolled off to fall to the ground. As the pair's momentum ceased, the girls saw that it was the brothers themselves. Looking up, the crowd saw that the window of the Consultation Room was missing, clearly having been shattered by the brother's fall.

"That was...lucky." Jamie groaned, picking himself up off the Skyline's roof. "How many times do I have to fucking tell you, Jamie? I make my own luck." Adam replied, groaning as he got up himself, just as Jamie slid off the roof of the Skyline. "Did you really need to dent the roof of my fucking car?" He asked, noticing that their crash had caused the roof of his car to bend inwards slightly. "I couldn't aim where we fell, asshole. And besides, you insulted Chikaru." His little brother replied, causing Jamie to crack his neck. "So now what, little brother?" He asked, as Adam placed a hand on the Skyline's roof.

"Well now, bro, I finally get to kick your arrogant ass!" Adam stated, before shooting his hand off the car's roof in a blur, and punching Jamie in the middle of his chest, sending his brother to the ground, shocking the students present as they stepped back to avoid Jamie's sprawled body. "You know, that didn't feel as good as I'd hoped." He said, as Jamie looked to him. "But you know what they say; If at first you don't succeed..." He continued, moving towards his brother again. "This won't end well for you, Adam." Jamie growled, before pushing himself off the ground, bringing up a leg in an attempt to kick his brother, who leant backwards to dodge the attack...

Back inside the Dorms...

As soon as the brothers had disappeared out the window, Chikaru and Yaya had ran from the Consultation Room, only to bump straight into Miyuki and Shion. "Whoa, what's the rush, you two?" Miyuki asked, causing Chikaru to look to her, panicked.

"Adam and Jamie are getting into a fight outside!" She exclaimed, making the two girl's eyes widen. "Shion, go with them! I'll fetch the sisters!" Miyuki ordered, getting a nod from her blonde companion. "Right!" Shion said, before following Chikaru and Yaya downstairs.

"What are those idiots thinking?" Miyuki thought to herself, as she began to run down the hall...

Outside...

Staggering backwards as Jamie delivered a hard punch to the side of his head, Adam slammed into the side of his Charger. Growling, he spun just in time to push his brother's next blow away, following it up with a swift punch to the centre of his chest, which he then followed by grabbing Jamie's head, yanking it down, and delivering a hard knee to Jamie's skull. Grunting in pain, Jamie was left wide open, which Adam took advantage of, by grabbing the back of his head, and slamming it onto the hood of the car, before pulling him back up and delivering a hard right hook to the side of his brother's head. As Jamie staggered backwards, his head spinning, Adam went to deliver another punch.

"Oh, hell no!" Jamie thought, before moving his arm to catch the punch. "Too slow." Was all he said, pushing his brother away, before spinning and throwing a leg out in an attempt to kick him. Even though Adam managed to catch it, he was still sent to the ground by Jamie leaping up, spinning, and kicking him in the head with his other foot. Rolling to face Jamie again, Adam spat out a glob of blood that had gathered in his mouth, before going for a punch to Jamie's chest, only for the elder brother to block it with his arm. Trying twice more, Adam gritted his teeth when both attempts were blocked as well, with the second ending with the pair locked in a block of each other's arms.

"Your Shotokan's not bad, bro. How's your Hapkido?" Adam asked. "Better than yours." Jamie replied. "Yeah?" Adam asked, before catching his brother off guard by pulling on the arm he had been blocking against, using it to bring Jamie to the ground. Rolling back to his feet on Adam's other side, Jamie grabbed Adam's arm in turn, and using nothing but his brute strength, pulled Adam up and over his shoulder, sending Adam crashing into the windshield of his Charger.

Groaning, Adam looked up just in time to block another punch from Jamie. Kicking him in the chest while he couldn't move, Adam wrapped one leg round his brother's neck, and used it to slam Jamie's head into the car's hood, before sending him staggering with a kick to the head, pushing himself off the hood as he did so. Growling, Jamie threw a punch forward, but Adam blocked the blow, as well as the follow-up punch that came his way. Kicking Jamie's leg out to the side, Adam spun and connected an elbow to the side of his brother's head, sending him staggering backwards. Capitalising on his opportunity, Adam delivered a hard punch to Jamie's cheek, sending him to the ground. As Jamie looked up, he was sent flying backwards by a kick that was delivered to the side of his head, coming to a stop with a roll.

"That all you got?" Adam asked tauntingly, as he stepped towards his brother. "Not even close!" Jamie spat back, catching Adam by surprise by driving his elbow into Adam's stomach, which made the younger brother hunch over in pain. Seizing his opportunity, he shot up and tackled Adam backwards into the Skyline, but unfortunately, Adam regained his composure, wrapped his arms round his brother's chest, then hefted him up with his strength, causing Jamie to land on the roof of the car, the wind being knocked out of him. As the older sibling tried to regain his breath, Adam grabbed him with both hands, and tossed him to the ground, causing Jamie to roll to a stop. Looking up, Jamie managed to move to the side, just in time to avoid Adam stomping on him. As his brother's foot caused a small dust cloud to form from its impact with the dirt, Jamie delivered a hard kick to his back, sending Adam sprawling forward in the dirt, which he took as an opportunity to pick himself up.

"Hey." Adam's voice called out, causing Jamie to look round, only to be blindsided by Adam throwing a bunch of dirt at his face, temporarily blinding him. "Son of a..." Jamie yelled, as he was unable to stop Adam taking a running leap and delivering a hard knee strike to the middle of his chest, the momentum of which caused both brothers to fly backwards, Jamie's back colliding with the door of the Skyline, causing the metal to dent from the impact. Raising a fist, Adam delivered two hard blows onto Jamie's face, before he grabbed his brother, spun him round, and threw him to the dirt. Luckily for Jamie, however, he managed to roll back to his feet and face his opponent.

"Alright, asshole, let's see how you like this!" Jamie thought, before running towards his brother, his fist raised. As he moved to block, Adam was caught off guard by Jamie spinning round him, and wrapping his arms round Adam's midsection from behind. "Shit..." The younger brother thought, realizing what Jamie intended, before he was lifted off the ground, and suplexed onto the roof of his car, his momentum causing him to bounce off to the ground.

As Adam began to get back up, Jamie sent him back to the ground by jumping onto the hood of the Charger, then immediately leaping off in a spin, ending in a kick to the side of his brother's head. "Like that?" He spat, grabbing Adam to turn him so he could look him in the eye, but he was blindsided by Adam, who had grabbed the wrench Jamie had abandoned on the ground earlier, and swung it into the side of Jamie's head, sending him to the ground, his head spinning from the blow.

As both brothers slowly got to their feet, they stumbled slightly, due to their injuries, but it was clear to everyone watching that they intended to continue their fight, despite this. That was, at least, until they were stopped by Chikaru and Yaya, who had pushed through the crowd, and leapt in front of the two to keep them from attacking each other.

"Both of you, please, stop this!" Chikaru pleaded, looking from her boyfriend to his brother. "There's nothing to be gained from this if you continue!" She stated, causing Jamie to scoff. "Speak for yourself, Chikaru." He said, fixing his gaze on Adam. "I get to knock this asshole down a peg or two." He spat, which Adam laugh himself. "Bring it on then, bro." The younger brother shot back, only for Jamie to be cut off by a tall blue-haired girl as he went to attack Adam again, who grabbed his arm and used it to pin him to the ground.

"Who the fuck are you?" Jamie demanded, as the girl struggled to keep him pinned on the ground. "Amane Ootori, of Spica Academy. And I'm asking you to stop. You're scaring the rest of the student body." The girl replied, before the crowds parted once again, revealing the form of Shion, who calmly walked into the middle of the makeshift 'battlefield'.

"Thank you, Amane. Can you let him up?" She asked, getting a nod from Amane, who released Jamie, and took a step back. Shooting back to his feet, Jamie glared at her, before fixing his gaze onto Adam. As he went to say something, he was cut off by a loud cry of "WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!"

Looking to the side, the brothers, as well as the girls present, saw the crowd part to allow the figures of the three school's head sisters, who strode into the circle, Miyuki following close behind them.

Silently, the three sisters surveyed the scene; the damaged cars, the shattered window of the Consultation Room, and last but not least, the injuries the brothers had inflicted on each other.

"Adam..." Le Rim's head sister said, looking to the younger brother. "My office. Now. Miss Minamoto, could you please make sure he makes it there without getting into any more trouble?" Nodding, Chikaru walked over to Adam, and gently took his hand. "Come on." She said softly, before lightly pulling on her boyfriend's hand. To everyone's surprise, Adam followed after her, putting up no fight.

"Same to you Jamie. My office. We'll discuss this further there. Miss Nanto, Miss Tomori?" Spica's head sister, causing the two girls in question to nod, and Jamie to scoff. "Fine." The boy spat, before turning on his heel, and following Shion and Yaya in the direction of Spica. Finally, the head sister of St. Miator looked to the crowd that had gathered.

"Alright, show's over, girls! Now get to class!" She yelled, causing an immediate surge of movement from the gathered girls...

Over in Le Rim...

"Are you alright?" Chikaru asked, as she and Adam sat outside of the office of Le Rim's head sister. "I'm fine." Her boyfriend replied, but Chikaru's eyes narrowed when she saw that he was repeatedly clenching and unclenching his fists, his bloody knuckles on full display. "Adam, what just happened...It's not the first time, is it?" She asked, but just as Adam went to answer, he was cut off by the sound of Le Rim's head sister walking up.

"Inside, please, Mister Robertson." She stated, opening the door to her office. "Miss Minamoto, wait out here." Nodding, Chikaru stayed seated, as she watched Adam stand up and enter the office, with the sister entering and closing the door behind him.

Inside the office, Adam was silent, as the head sister sat behind her desk. "Please." She said in a gentle tone, gesturing for him to sit opposite her. Remaining quiet, the young man sat down in the chair she had specified, and kept his gaze down to the floor.

"So..." The head sister said, clasping her hands together on top of the desk, only to off when Adam said, "Get on with it." "Excuse me?" The head sister asked, causing Adam to finally look up to her. "You're going to expel me, aren't you?" He asked, causing the sister to raise an eyebrow.

"What makes you think I'm going to expel you?" She asked. "Well, let's see..." Adam replied, holding up a hand. "Damage to school property, assault, vandalism of another student's property, and disturbing the peace of Astraea Hill." He rattled off, counting off each of his 'transgressions' on his fingers, before looking back to her. "Need I go on?" As he lowered his hand, the sister nodded in understanding.

"I won't deny all that, Adam, but there's one very big reason I'm allowing you to remain at Le Rim." She said, causing Adam to raise an eyebrow. "And that would be...?" He asked. "Well, you see, in the last few weeks, the majority of Le Rim students that have been consulted by you have given you and your brother glowing reviews." The head sister explained, noticing that Adam clenched his fist at the mention of his brother. "They've come to see the pair of you as essential parts of Astraea Hill. I'm not willing to take that away from them." She continued, making Adam look back down to the floor.

"So, what'll happen now?" He asked, making the head sister lean back in her chair. "Well, despite your appeal to the students, I can't, in good faith, allow you to continue consulting them immediately after this incident. So, I'm going to place you on a 2-week suspension. Unless it's for meals, you are to remain confined to your dorm room. You may not leave the premises of the Strawberry Dorms. I'll see to it that Miss Minamoto brings the classwork that you will miss to you." She explained. Nodding, Adam furrowed his eyebrows when he realised something.

"You do realise who I share a dorm room with, right?" He asked, getting a nod from the sister. "Ah, well, you see, I've thought of that, and I've came up with a solution." She replied, before looking to the door. "You can come in now!" She called out, before the door opened slowly, and in walked Chikaru.

"Miss Minamoto, I understand that you and Mister Robertson are in a relationship?" The head sister asked, getting a nod from her student. "Yes, we've been dating for a few weeks." Chikaru replied. Nodding, the head sister looked to Adam, who had suddenly found a spot on the desk very interesting. "Could I ask you to allow Mister Robertson to stay in your room for a while?" She asked, before Chikaru nodded, drawing a smile from the older women. "Thank you." She said, before looking to Adam. "Collect your belongings from your dorm, and move them into Miss Minamoto's dorm." She ordered, getting a nod from Adam, who stood up. "Oh, and one last thing, young man." She stated, making Adam look to her. "You've been given a second chance here. You will not get a third. Are we clear?" Nodding, Adam looked away from her, to the hallway outside. "Crystal." He stated, before leaving the room. Looking to the head sister, Chikaru bowed to her. "Keep an eye on him." The older woman said, causing her student to nod. "Yes, ma'am." She replied, before leaving to catch up with Adam...

Over in Spica...

"Alright, Mister Robertson, you can come in now." Spica's head sister said, as Yaya and Shion exited her office, and sat down. Silently, Jamie got to his feet, and walked past her into the office, the door to which was closed behind him.

"Sit." The woman ordered, gesturing to the chair in front of Jamie. Still saying nothing, Jamie lowered himself into the chair, as the head sister sat down opposite him. "So, care to explain what happened out there? I've heard Miss Tomori and Miss Nanto's accounts. Care to fill me in on your side of the story?" She asked. "Not particularly." Jamie replied, making the head sister raise an eyebrow. "With all due respect, that wasn't a request, Mister Robertson." She said in a low tone. "Don't matter, you got my answer." Jamie shot back, which only made the sister sigh, as she leant back in her chair.

"Do you want me to expel you? Is that what you want?" She asked, causing Jamie to tense. "Because based on what I saw, and what Shion and Yaya have told me, I have more than enough grounds to." She explained, before taking a deep breath. "However, Miss Tomori and Miss Nanto have pleaded on your behalf. In fact, Miss Nanto said the whole thing was her fault. Care to weigh in on that?" She continued, which caused Jamie's eyes to widen. "What?" He asked, which drew the sister's attention. "I remember hearing they were romantically involved. Maybe he cares more about her than he does himself." She thought, before nodding.

"Yes, Miss Nanto said that she is the one to blame. She says that she went to your brother for advice, but was told to keep the fact they'd met a secret. However, she let it slip this morning, which led to your scuffle. This correct?" She explained, before Jamie shook his head. "No, Yaya had nothing to do with it." He stated, which made the sister confused. "Let me explain; Yes, she went to Adam, and yes, they talked. But it was him and I that fought. Yaya had no part in it. So, if you're gonna punish anyone, make it me." He said, looking the sister dead in the eye.

"So, you're willing to be expelled, just to save Yaya from the same?" She asked, which made Jamie scowl. "If that's what it takes." He said, which made the sister smile. "I'm glad to hear that, because I'm simply going to suspend you. You're to remain confined to your room for 2 weeks, only leaving for meals. Could you tell Miss Nanto that I wish for her to room with you for those two weeks?" She said, getting a nod from Jamie. "Fine." He said, getting to his feet. "One last thing, Jamie." The head sister stated, looking him dead in the eye. "Make sure that nothing like this happens again. I'm letting it slide today, but next time, I will be taking action." Remaining silent, Jamie simply nodded, before he left the room.

Sighing, the head sister leant back in her chair, but allowed herself a small sigh. "I hope those two come together soon. Anyone with eyes can tell that they're stronger together." She thought to herself, before looking to the phone on her desk. Sighing again, she reached for the receiver, and placed it to her ear, as she dialled in a number...

A/N: Dun, dun, duuuunn! Yeah, I've had this idea planned since almost the beginning of this story. So, how will the brothers come back from their most brutal fight yet in one of my stories? We'll find out, when we next see each other, in Chapter 8 - La Familia es Todo.

Madman out!
