(Me: Guess who's finally updating~) (Freddy:...you?) (Me: YEEESSS Here is the chapter)

Artemis's mind was on the riddle. She lay staring at the ceiling as she remembered the riddle. "A day forgotten..." she muttered as she got to her feet and walked over to the white board where she wrote the riddle and stared at it. Her eyes widened as realization crossed her brown eyes and she put an equal sign next to 'A day forgotten' than wrote 'The day I don't remember'

She nodded to herself and read the next line to the riddle. "But the start of a nightmare..." she tapped the washable marker on her chin before she added another equal sign. 'The murders...' she added tapping her chin with the marker again. "But what about the rest..." she muttered. "Now behind friendly mask we kill at darkness to once again miss the murderful target." she went silent before she began to pace. "It's right there in front of me I know it." she muttered before she froze. "Crap work!" she said throwing the marker onto the whiteboard and changing into her purple blouse and black slacks. She was shoving her feet in her shoes when a familiar figure materialized onto the bed. "Aww your so close to figuring it out." Shadow Freddy smirked at her. "Why are you like this? I'm busy and I have no time for your damn riddles." She snapped rushing out the door. She ran right through Shadow Freddy who again materialized near her. "Why is anyone like this? I'm tired of not being able to move on. I can't move on until he stops killing and he's not going to stop. In fact...your his next target."

"I can defend myself." she got onto her bike and began pedaling off leaving the human bear hybrid to stare after her. "...If your certain..."

CLANG

Artemis let out a shriek before she felt her body hit the floor hard.

Everything hurt...

Especially her arm.

She was surprised she didn't die. She sat up and clutched her left arm which was in a strange angle. An angle that her mother taught her meaning that it was broken. She whimpered a little tears appearing on the corner of her eyes as she got to her feet stumbling a little. She looked around the room she ended up in...must be a basement of some kind. Her eyes landed on the pile of boxes. A strange smell assaulted her nose as she got closer and her eyes widened when she saw a bloodied hand peeking out from behind the boxes. She shoved the boxes out of the way and found herself staring at a girl with long black hair and lifeless green eyes. There was a deep slit in her throat that dripped onto her green sweater a green bracelet was on her wrist. Her skirt was torn and there was holes in her hands. Something dripped onto Artemis's forehead and she looked up and her eyes widened. Blood dripped from the hooks that dangled from the ceiling. She backed away scrubbing at her face with her good arm when she felt herself bump into someone...or something.

The office was not reassuring to Artemis as she sat in the chair staring at the cameras as the animatronics left the stage again. She nodded to herself and pushed away from the desk and got to her feet and walked out to the practically empty show room. She kept the camera trained on Foxy making sure he didn't leave as she walked into the main room. She kept herself quiet as she ran into the stage and hid behind a curtain as the backstage door opened and Bonnie walked out. She waited for him to leave before she stepped off the stage and bolted into the room and ran into the basement covering her nose as her feet landed in the brownish substance. Ignoring the springlock suits around her she made below a vent and looked up at the rusty hooks...Something in her mind said that rust wasn't the only substance on the hooks. She took her attention from the hooks and looked at the boxes where she remembered the 6th body and shoved the boxes out of the way a small part of her expecting to see a dead black haired girl with a green sweater and green bracelet laying on the ground but she found something else.

A mask. The mask seemed humanoid if that's what she can call it. The mask was pure white with empty black eyes with purple streaks, and a big smile. Her hand reached for the mask...

Artemis froze and slowly turned around to see a tall slender figure she had never seen before. The figure wasn't even human it had a completely black body with white stripes and buttons. It wore a completely white mask with purple tear streaks and a big smile. Black eyes with white pinpricks remained on her as she visibly paled and stumbled back trying to get away from the slender figure. "I WANT MY MOMMY PLEASE!" She shrieked as the figure reached towards her. She felt herself fall to the ground landing on her bottom. Her good arm covered her face as the figures three fingered hand got closer to her...

Artemis shrieked her back against the wall keeping her arm covering her face when she froze. Her arm lowered only to find herself alone with nothing but the springlock suits with her. Her hand went to her arm which throbbed from the memory before it faded it away. She let out a sigh of relief before her eyes widened. "Wait...they have never been so vivid to where..." she looked at the mask. "Now behind a friendly mask...Oh God that means-" A childish giggling caused her to freeze and slowly turn around. A yellow Freddy stood there its head twitching. "Oh God-" she said closing her eyes but it was too late...The damage was done. Something hit her on the back of the head and everything went dark...

"Don't be afraid...I'm here to help you."

Artemis forced her eyes opened and looked at the slender figure who's hand was on her left shoulder glowing a gentle golden light. The white pinpricks turned a calming green. Her arm stopped hurting and healed. "W-What?" she asked as she looked at her bloodied hand and once broken arm. Her hand was still bloody but the cut was gone. "That wasn't so bad was it." She looked up at the figure. The voice was female clearly young. The smile remained frozen on the mask much to her surprise. She sniffed and wiped her tears as she stared at the figure. "W-Who are you?" she asked. "Oh child...I'm the Marionette though you can call me the Puppet."

A groan escaped her lips. Her eyes fluttered opened and the first thing she noticed was that she was bound to a chair her wrists tied to the arm rests. Her feet tied to the legs. Than she looked up noticing Freddy standing right there leaning against the wall. Her eyes widened before they narrowed as she flexed her wrists hoping to loosen the ropes. "That won't work you know." Her eyes went back to Freddy. His blue eyes remained on her his mechanical brow raised. Her eyes narrowed more giving him a squinty eyed glare. He walked to her and she closed her eyes expecting him to hurt her or something. Instead she feels the gag being undone and she was able to speak again. "Untie me." she said.

"Now why should I do that?" He asked leaning against the wall again. "Simple...Because I already know whats going on...Fredrick."

"Hey give it back!" Artemis begged as the older kids held the plush out of reach. "Why should I?" The oldest asked. "Alex give it back or I'll tell Mom." a brunette boy walked between the two holding his hand out to the boy. The boy named Alex cringed before throwing the doll at Artemis. "Your lucky Aunt Jolene is here or I would kick both your asses."

"Keep walking pretty boi." the brunette said as the older kids stalked away. He turned to Artemis who was wiping away tears while hugging her plush. "I'm Fredrick. That jerk was my cousin Alex...Sorry about him. My brother is having his birthday party wanna come?" She nodded shyly. "By the way my name is Artemis."

"So...you figured it out?" Freddy asked crossing his arms. "Yes...I don't know how I know but I do."

"Good so I don't have to explain anything. But one question...How?"

"A riddle." she replied. "Also...You can untie me now."

"...Oh right."
