Deku ghost AU
Chapter 7-
Izuku wasn't sure whether he was tired or not. Technically he shouldn't be, since he's a ghost. He technically doesn't have any of his senses, which about only part of that was true. Izuku didn't really know why. He could hear and he could still talk, think and see, but he had lost all his other senses, like taste, smell and touch. He didn't really need any of those senses since he didn't actually need to eat and drink. Ah, he's getting of topic again.
Izuku mumbling under his breath. He really shouldn't be nervous, he's a ghost, nothing bad could happen, but Aizawa was his teacher…and he had down some pretty nasty pranks on the hobo teacher, even took his money. He's probably really screwed. Oh well, if he were alive, he would have said that he was so dead, but he was already dead.
Maybe it was worth it though because in exchange he finally got to meet some of his favourite heroes. He could last a few lessons with the hobo teacher…hopefully.
Soon Izuku was confronted by a giant door. A small sign that wrote '1-A' on it, but the letter and number was already painted on the door. He slipped through the door. All the students were seated, backs straightened as Aizawa was talking. Everyone was aware of Izuku's presence, they all thought he was here to do another prank. Aizawa huffed out a sigh.
"Class we have a new student. He'll be your classmate from today, Izuku Midoriya." Izuku floated over next to Aizawa and gave a small wave, smiling a little. The entire class had their mouth open like fishes. "You can use the time until next period to get to know him. I'm going to sleep, don't cause any trouble problem child. Don't wake me up during that time." Aizawa retreated back to his yellow sleeping bag.
'You would want to use any excuse to go to sleep, stupid caterpillar!' Izuku thought to himself. He turned back to the class, only to get yelled at by Kacchan.
"What the fuck Deku!"
"Hi Kacchan" Izuku smiled. A few classmates had already crowded him.
"Midoriya! I didn't know you were in our class!"
"Wow! You're in our class."
"Everyone please go sit in your seats!" Iida was chopping the air. Everyone moved back a bit, some going back their seats.
"I guess I'll do a quick introduction. Hi, I'm Izuku Midoriya. My quirk is Ghost. I'm a ghost that you can see." Izuku beamed.
"Did you ask for a spot? Were you always a student?"
"No, I was invited. I was going to decline, but Rat Satan put up a really good deal. I couldn't pass. First day of being a UA student."
There was a lot of questions. Izuku had made a lot of friends quite fast. There were some people that didn't interact with the rest of the class. Izuku made it his duty to smash friendship right into their face and become friends with them. Time flew by fast.
It had been around a week. The arrangement to see the heroes were finally scheduled. In around 2 weeks. He also tried to befriend this boy in his class, Shoto Todoroki, but every time he tried, Todoroki sent him a hard cold glare and walked away. He didn't give up though, he would keep trying until Todoroki had given up.
Izuku see from a mile away and it was quite obvious Todoroki was being abused. Izuku came up with this really good plan, he was going to expose Endeavour because why not? Plus in the process he might even get a new friend. But he wanted to befriend Todoroki and show him that he wasn't his father. That his power wasn't his father's, but his own. Izuku could just straight up expose Endeavour, but where's the fun in that if you didn't tortur-…prank him, if he didn't prank him.
While he was at that he was also going to mess with the top ten heroes. None of them knew is quirk because he told Nedzu not to tell them, so they had no idea he was even a ghost. They all thought they were meeting another fan boy.
Ever since he became a ghost he's started to do things that would probably get him killed if he were alive. Too many, he only had small consequences since he couldn't do much as a ghost, well that was what they thought. As a ghost he could do a lot of things, telekinesis (he couldn't lift a lot of things and it was kind of weak), transparency (he could change how see through he was so he could be totally invisible), temperature drop (you know when all of a sudden it gets cold and you suspect there's a ghost, he could drop the temperature around him), and illusion (It was quite weak, and the person could easily snap out of it as long as they didn't believe in the illusion) and that was about it. Izuku hadn't discover any more powers, but he was sure there were more and they were probably perfect for pranking people.
Izuku knew he should probably be in class, but it was always boring, he knew everything in class. He would just skip, but he would always need to attend Nezu's lessons. They didn't actually do anything, but plan world domination and play strategic games, nothing too big. (A/N: Yeah, world domination isn't that big. It's not like you were talking about taking over the world or something. Not concerning at all). Not to mention he has been pickpocketing a lot of teachers and students, and sometimes he would feel bad, but like he can't pay for all the punishments by himself, he's got to get the funding from somewhere. When a bitch needs their money, they have to do something. Like Uraraka, but she didn't steal from people. Izuku slipped her money every now and then, just to be nice.
Being a ghost had a lot of good points, pranking people, taking their money, free shit, he didn't actually need to pay for anything since he didn't actually need it like food, not having to deal with pain, he could float…um…he could take people's money without asking, oh wait he already said that. Yeah, compare to the disadvantages there were good parts about being a ghost (A/N: Hey, maybe I should try, it sounds very promising. Very convincing. Haha!)
Now he realized, not really, he didn't feel pain and he was already dead so he wasn't scared of death. Being on that topic there were some places Izuku wanted to check out this 'abandoned' bar he saw in his neighbourhood. He was sure he heard voices near there when he was alive, but he didn't want to investigate since he was a bit scared. He should probably go check that place out.
But, he also wanted to check out class 1-B as well. Their class seemed seem interesting, plus he hadn't prank their class yet.
He also hadn't checked out the year 3 classes. He heard one of the students there had a permeation quirk. Oh Izuku could already see the pranking possibilities.
But he also wanted to befriend the Todoroki kid.
There was so many options. What to do, what to do? What is he even talking about, he had plenty time.
He should probably go home and spend some quality family time with his mother. Although last time he tried to spend family time with his mother, he got questioned why he had so much money to spend. Yeah, he hadn't told his mother that he 'borrowed' money from people without them knowing.
He professionally avoided the question and changed the subject. So note to himself do not spend so much money.
He wandered down the familiar streets, towards the apartment.
"Ah shit I don't have the keys!" Izuku said to himself. He was about to knock on the door, but the realization hit him hard, "Wait a goddamn minute! I'm a bloody ghost! What am I doing looking for keys, when I could just go through the door?!"
Izuku mentally face palmed as he waltzed into the apartment.
"Hey Mum! I'm home!"
"Welcome home!" Inko greeted he son at the entrance. She was sad that her son committed suicide, she still felt guilty about it. If she hadn't been such a terrible mother that would never have happened. She still got to see her baby boy, but she could never touch her boy, never hug him. Sometimes she sobbed silently about that.
She was glad that she got to see her son every day.
"Mum would you like to go out today? Spend some quality family time?"
Inko agreed.
Ok, so apparently that mental note to self wasn't enough. Izuku spent a suspiciously large amount of money. But as long as his mother was happy, he was happy too. (A/N: Ew! That sounds so cringe bruh) and yes, he got questioned by his mother.
She instantly thought Izuku was working. She didn't want Izuku to work hard just for hard. Izuku assured her he wasn't working hard and too just enjoy, spend some family time.
Izuku was glad his mother was better at thinking more reasonable reasons. At least she thought he was working. When Izuku once spent a large amount of money in front of some teachers (Mainly All might) they thought he was doing illegal stuff, like drug rings or being a hit man. Yep, some of the teachers didn't know Izuku was stealing from their pockets. In fact Izuku and the teachers did know started making bets about who would find out last.
Anyways, the day went by too fast. And like everything, it came to an end and they went home. Izuku enjoyed his time. He brought home many gifts just for his mother.
Hi!
I am back. Sorry I took so long. Homework has really caught up with me and haven't been getting enough.
I finally got good sleep.
I took so long because I'm making like 5 different fanfictions and I don't know why I can't focus on one.
So as sorry I'm uploading two chapters today and one tomorrow or the day after depending on homework and classes.
I again apologize for taking so long
Cya ❤
