Ten minutes later they took off to the clinic Dr. Miller was working at. It was a psychological center and clinic mainly for Victims off physical or emotional abuse. Virgil remembered being transferred to the clinic from the hospital, spending most of his recovery here at Dr. Millers clinic. The clinic was a twenty minutes drive away from home and build at the center of the city.

"We're here." Remus said, drawing Virgil away from his thoughts, who kept his hoodie deep into his face, when they got out off the car and walked up the three stairs to the mainhall and reception. Everything was painted white except for the floor, which was a light grey.

A smiling nurse welcomed them. "How can I help you?"

Virgil looked around nervously and stayed behind Remus while he was talking to the nurse.

"Hi, we would like to see Dr. Miller, please. We already called. It's urgent. Dr. Miller asked us to come. My friend is hurt very badly."

"I see. Can I ask for your name please?"

"Virgil" The nurse looked at Virgil with a sympathic look recognizing his name, smiling softly.

Virgil looked away.

"If you could wait just another ten minutes, Dr. Miller will come to get you." She gestured at the waiting area and Virgil and Remus took a seat.

Virgil simply nodded as Remus asked "You're good?"

Ten more minutes had pass until a middle aged woman with strawberryblond hair and a calming smile, stood infront of them and shook both their hands. Dr. Miller was slim always wearing black soft trousers and beige blouse underneith the white lab coat.

"Good to see you Virgil. Though I wish it would be under more happier cicumstances. Follow me."

Virgil got up and gestured for Remus to wait for him there. He could do it. He decided to be brave. That he didn't need a babysitter. Dr. miller led him to her office and waited until Virgil sat down on the lounger.

"Your friend, Remus, called me last night, telling me about the party and your encounter with your Ex. How brave you were, as he kept asking for second chances. I can imagen how much strenght it must have cost you." She smiled proudly and Virgil shrugged.

"It was all Remus´s idea. The houseparty. Everything"

Dr. Miller nodded "I see. Since Remus thought you went missing and couldn't tell me what happened to you, can you tell me?" Virgil still debaded wether or not he should tell her about last night. He shook his head.

"Do you remember what happend?"

"Yes. I just... can´t talk about right now!"

Dr. Miller looked at him for a moment. "Are any other injuries then those on your face and neck?"

Virgil nooded.

"Would you please take your clothes off so I can treat them. I can step ouside if you'd like. If you need help, just say so and a nurse will come. Take all the time you need." Virgil paused then nodded again.

She smiled lightly "I'll be waiting outside. Knock, when your ready okay?" Virgil nooded, looking down at his hands again.

"Okay." Dr. Miller went outside and closed the door behind her, so Virgil had privacy.

He leaned down slowly to take his shoes off, along with his socks, then he unzipped his pants and took them of, folding them beside his shoes. He left his boxers on and took of his T-shirt and hoodie, hissing as the movement tore at the scratches. He catched himself, looking down his body still in shock. It took him ten minutes to take off the bandagges, cause his hands were shaking, before he stepped to the door and knocked.

"Virgil? Are you ready? Can I come in?" Virgil had to clear his throad to speak.

"Yes."

The door opend and Dr. Miller stepped in, stopping for a second as she saw all the bruises and scratches on display, before clearing the shoock of her face to a calm expression. Virgil suddenly felt shy and tried to cover his body with his arms. He wasn´t uncomfortable being half naked around the doctor, he was ashamed of all the bruises, how they were a symbol off his weakness.

That he couldn't defend himself. Dr. Miller moved on to prepare everything she needed to examen his wounds and placed everything on a littel table, that had wheels. A nurse came in to assist her. Dr. Miller looked at Virgil, waiting for him to make eyecontact before asking.

"You mentioned at the phone that you were hurting. How bad is the pain you feel. On a scale from one to ten?"

Virgil thought about it "like a five. six when I move." The nurse wrote everything down.

"Where does it hurt the most?"

"My head, down my back, stomach and thighs."

Dr. Miller nodded, pausing for a second following his body down to his legs.

"I suggest we start with the bruises on your face and move on from there. If at any point you fell uncomfortable or anxious, jsut say stop and we'll take a breake. Alright?"

Virgil nooded.

"Good. may I touch you?"

Virgil paused for a second, then nodded. Dr. Miller smiled and came closer to touch his face. Her fingers were warm and gentle, as she lightly moved from his forehead to his nose, and then to his cheeks.

"Do you have troubled vision or ringing in your ears?"

"No, but I felt sick when I got home" Virgil answered.

"Do you feel sick now?"

Virgil shook his head. Dr. Miller examend his face and neck again. Testing his vision with a light and sound test by snapping her fingers next to his ears.

"So far your head seems okay, besides the headache and sickness. I also can't fell any fractured bone so far. Could you tilt your head to the left for me please?" Virgil did as he was told.

"Does your neck hurt when you move it?"

Virgil again shook his head. "My throad is sour though."

"Yes I can tell from the choke marks around your neck, that he was pretty strong."

She moved her hands down Virgils arms and chest, before letting him lie on the lounger so she could fell for any internal wounds in his chest or stomach. Virgil tried to concentrade on the white ceiling, focusing on Dr. Millers voice, but his mind kept coming back to last night and how Roman had touched him last night.

"S...Stop. Please, stop."

Dr. Miller took her hands off of him and stepped back, giving Virgil room to sit up and breath. It took half an hour, in which Dr. Miller asked her assistant to leave and she waited paitently for Virgil to controll his breaithing by listing simple things like his name and things he sees in the room.

Only when Virgil had calmed down completly she again asked for his permision and went on to examen every inch of his bruised body.

She stitched up the worst scratches and cuts, put on a cooling balm on his black eye and bruises, and patched up his hands. Perscrepting him the balm as a treatment. They did some tests to make sure his head and inner organs weren't damaged. Virgil waited for Dr. Miller in her office as the tests were done and he could put on his clothes again.
