Did you know there are a few transgender characters in this series? I didn't know that.
Aizawa was rarely impressed, this was a fact everyone that knew him knew. However, to say that he was impressed at that moment would be the understatment. Reading Midoriya's assesment of his class was... painfully awesome, he had to admit.
'The kid not only made general analysis of each student and their quirks but actually created full advisments for improvement, training and combat suggestions? Hell, he even mentions their implied weaknesses. He even made one for me in the back, he hasn't even seen me fight and he had suggestions. What is this kid?'
Not every single report stood out as utterly amazing, the kid just didn't have enough data for that with what he had seen, however there were a few that were generally incredible and would turn even the weakest student into genuinely dangerous combatants and competant heroes on at least some level. That alone was enough to give him a passing grade if Aizawa was being honest...
His favorite three, he loved them all truthfully, were for Toru Hagakure, Ochacho Uraraka and Tsuyu Asui. They were the most complete, which was odd since Hagakure had nearly failed and really hadn't used her quirk for anything since all she had was invisibility, and the most helpful. Since Midnight had texted him that he was training the other two girls, Aizawa chose to start his grading with the Hagakure report and show it to Nezu.
'Actually, I should probably copy all of these and give them to the students, so they can better themselves... '
Toru Hagakure- Quirk: Invisibility
Subject demonstrates complete and unconcious invisibility that requires no control or training... that's it. While this makes her naturally adept at stealth, she would still be vunerable to heat sensing or really any extra sensory methods like advanced hearing or sense of smell.
She scored exceptionally low on all physical tests implying a lack of athleticism.
Training suggestions : Increase Stealth training to minimize sounds made. Increase physical training and combat training to capatlize on her invisibility in battle. Focus on stamina, speed, and agility would be preferable.
Questions- Is her power truly light based? What costume does she have to take advantage of it? Does she have to be naked to use her power and thus become more vunerable... if so, talk to Costume designers about incorporating something to give her more protection...
Random notes- Judo would be good as she is small and sort of weak. Avoid cockiness around ease of stealth.
Simple as it was, the report alone would expand the girl's training and actually unlock a lot of her potential... just as it had Midoriya's. Things like this turned a quirkless boy into the most powerful member of his class, he wondered if it would do the same for this girl... Aizawa would hand her the paper after All Might's training, before the USJ training. The girl could learn so much from it.
Frankly all of the kids could and would learn so much, enough that that it could really save their lives... and truthfully, that was all Aizawa really wanted. He did not want to outlive his students...
He would rather expel them then bury them...

Everything hurt. Izuku's chest, face, arms, legs, feet, fingers, toes... all of it. He felt like a an entire truck had hit him...
Who knew Midnight was such a phenominal combatant? He sure as hell didn't.
Laughter, cold and sweet sent a feeling of horror through him. He looked up from his place on the ground, where saw the lovely heroine looking at him with warm eyes. "Any room for more, my dear?"
Her words, simple as they were, ran straight through him and his mind echoed wuth the memories of their fight, or rather the utter slaughter she had visited upon him.
"Is it safe to fight in Highheels, Miss Midnight?" His words, his intentions had been pure, the women's outfit wasn't the most fit for combat. He was trying to be kind, out of respect for his foe. The women just laughed at him and before he could blink, her foot slammed into his chest, sending him flying across the mat with a brand new bruise forming on his chest. Groaning, he was forced to roll away as she stomped where his chest had once more. He tried his best to dodge her strikes but she was far too fast for that, so he aimed to block.
Another mistake, she was so much stronger then him so every hit felt like hammer had slammed into him. Bruises formed from every strike, he got desperate quickly, reaching out and moving himself just right, grabbing her arm to flip her... only for her to use to motion to gracefully land on her feet and then quite literally toss him away like a piece of garbage. As he slammed into the mat once more, he could only wonder if he was quite as good as he thought in combat, even in the begining he had never been so utterly outmatched.
He recognized her style from his studies, it was a mixture of Muy Thai, regular kickboxing and few other things all sort of blended together to create an elegant, dangerous set of movements that left her utterly unstoppable. It helped that she was a naturally tall women, with a strong but slim build and thus could take advantage of more strong fisted styles, something he just couldn't given his size.
Attempting to hodl some dignity, he blasted off a few strikes of his own at her, all of which were blocked and swatted away, except for the final right hook which slammed into her belly with a thud.
'Finally, a strike!' He had been so proud he almost stopped moving... a really bad move as she grabbed his hair and tossed him aside once more, where he lay on his back, finally defeated and too tired to move.
Shaking his head, he tried to sit up, only to cough as more pain washed through him. "Ow." Tears prickled at his eyes, shame overwhelming him at his loss. 'Was all that training worth anything?'
He may have thought more, his past depression and anxiety creeping up on him once more, but soft hands cupped his cheek and a sweet set of lips brushed his forehead. He looked up and saw the impossibly loving eyes of Midnight looking down at him with the same kind of pride as his mother. It warmed his soul, eased his fears and made him settle down more then it should have.
It also made him blush as he was face to face with her very, very large breasts.
She laughed at him a little. "You are an excellent combatant kid, you can take a hit better then some pros and you have a lot of skill for your age. Big issue though, your predicatable due to a lack of combant experience. Sparring helps but going up against a really more advanced person is what you need. I will be organizing you opponents to work with, from third year and among the staff. You have no quirk, you need to master your skills on a higher level so we can tell the rest of the world to screw off. No one deserves to have the right to misjudge you, so we won't let them do that, will we?
Now, don't despair. I am probably the best female fighter among the public heroes. Ms. Joke might be the only one that can hold a candle, there is a reason I was allowed to teach here. We have to be able to keep you kids safe, it's our main job alongside teaching. I have mastered a dozen styles of combat, my quirk is only so useful so often and there is a great many situations that I cannot use it without endangering others, for example if I am around a crowd of my peers or concussed people.
Now pick yourself up, your friends need instruction and I want to see how good your judo is." She helped him to stand, turning and pushing him to Recovery Girl, who looked at him with pride.
"Very good, you stood up to her for a solid minute, some Pros can't do that. Be proud, now let's make sure your all patched up before we get started."
His heart smiled, happy to have someone, especially these two legendary pros, have faith in him... and from the sound of the cheering from Iida, Uraraka and Tsu, some of his classmates did too.
Life was good, wasn't it?

Nemuri was rarely impressed, she hid it well but she could be as judgemental as Shota. This kid though, he had performed exceptionally well, showing more skill then some of her third years. It was something that filled her with pride, too much to even bother acting sexy. Besides, the kid clearly had no confidence and needed real encouragment. She was more then happy to give it.
"Oh, and honey?" The boy, who had been showing the other students the right form for Judo, turned to her. " I had Chiyo record this. We are showing Nezu, All Might and Mr. Aizawa. They need to see just how talented you are. As I know Nezu told you, people will cast judgment for your lack of a quirk. I refuse to allow anyone the oppurtunity to cast that judgement. We will be shoving your skills down their throats, as painfully as possible. Your youth is to be admired, not cast in shadow. Are we clear?"
"Yes, Ma'am!" Satisfied, Midnight watched and listetned as the boy instructed his peers. "Girls, Judo will probably help you the most, it is made for smaller people who are not as strong as bigger opponenents. Neither of you have majorly offensive quirks, so this is vital for you to learn. Iida, you need a less destructive style, I saw you fight the robots, you would be a danger against a human. Your speed could mean a fatal blow where it is not needed, so I am teaching you kickboxing more then anything. Judo too, it is always useful, but with your strength you could snap a neck, crack a skull or worse so much easier.
Control is your best freind here, as is reaction speed. We want delicate but accurate manuvers, preserving your stamina and show casing style. Power is not always your ally, trust me. I could beat you all at once, sans quirks I mean, I have faced multiple opponents before. If I wasted too much power on one of you though, my stamina would be wasted and I would be in danger. That is the worst thing you can do in a fight, trust me it's how you get your ass kicked or worse."
Seeing a vital teaching moment here, Midnight and Chiyo both hummed, regaining the kids' attention. "He's right, fighting is exhausting. Trust me, even a few seconds of combat can feel like hours. Adrenaline, Stress Hormones and so many other things make it that much harder on your body. The key is to work around that block, to build up your stamina and create a sense of calm as to not be overwhelmed by these things as much. Izuku, what do you do to train your stamina?"
Blushing at the use of his first name, the boy muttered. "Parkour?"
"Excellent choice, a vital skill in the urban jungle, while also training in dexterity, stamina and agility... as well as being a very nice full body exercise. I assume you are teaching them this as well?"
"Yes, that was the goal."
"Lovely, I look foward to see what you are capable of."

Nezu cackled from his desk, having watched Young Midoryia's fight through his many cameras around the schools. Nemuri had informed him of this little test, and boy was he glad he watched it. Thet kid was good, better then his records had stated and he seemed to be a comptetant tutor. Really the kid deserved the hype he was giving him. Nezu could not wait to see him dominate the Sports Festival!
It was really about time to shake things up, people had become too comfortable with powerful quirks winning, it was time for intelligence to win as far as he was concerned.
He was sure the boy would have a rabid fanbase despite his lack of a quirk,... Midnight was sure to be among them.
However there was another thing that mattered to him... Izuku needed to see a therapist. When he lost to Nemuri, the sheer despair in his eyes had been almsot palpable. That mixed with the boy's own request to see therapist meant he would be scheduled to see him very soon. Nezu hoped he would get a schedule sooner rather then later, the kid deserved to have all aspects of his health taken care of.
Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.
This was not very long but I thought it was a great chapter and it established quite a bit.
Love, your Ninja Overlord,
Mika.
