Two days passed since The Accident and Sasuke woke up on the second day of his comatose state. The hospital authorities immediately called his parents and Sakura. They reached the hospital room and saw Sasuke talking to Naruto who had arrived before them. Naruto left the room after the family entered to give them their private "family bonding time" as he stated.

Mikoto hugged her son as soon as she entered the room while the others were standing behind and sadness clearly pronounced on their faces. Wordlessly, the brother nodded at each other. Sakura would never understand how they communicated with their nods. Their brotherly love/rivalry were clear as day yet they were similar in ways no one could understand. Unlike other times, Fugaku decided to break the awful silence in the room.

"Son, how do you feel? I believe you weren't drunk driving?"

"Otou-san, I feel okay. I didn't drink. Somehow I feel that the accident was planned."

"I think so too. Do you think it is related to them?"

"I believe so."

Like other occupants of the room, Sakura felt confused too. However she was thankful when Mikoto decided to question them about "them".

Sasuke began explaining about The Accident and "them"

Flashback

Because Sasuke was supposed to be the next owner of the company, he was to attend the office to participate in the meetings and the business dealings. Uchiha Corps was a company dealing with building materials (cement, bricks, sand, etc).

That morning, the business materials were to be delivered to the Sunagakure branch. The truck drivers arrived later than the usual time and the important deal was cancelled due to delay. Because of the loss, the Uchihas had a heated argument with the workers.

"Because your carelessness, we lost the deal. Do you know how much loss we have to face?"

"Sorry Uchiha-Sama, it won't happen again."

"This is the third time this week. We won't forgive you anymore. You are fired. GET OUT."

"Sorry sir, it won't happen again. This is the last time." With this, the workers went down on their knees and literally begged to be forgiven. However, Uchihas held grudges.

Sasuke gritted his teeth in annoyance and bit the words,

"GET . OUT. And never show your faces."

With this, the workers left with faces of pure malice.

That evening, when Sasuke was driving his car to get back to his house, a truck crashed with his car from the opposite direction.

Flashback ends

Mikoto and Sakura's faces were as pale as a paper. Itachi's expressions couldn't be deciphered as his face showed no emotions. Fugaku wordlessly nodded and got out of the room.

After 2 hours, Sasuke was dismissed and was allowed to go back home. He had to take bedrest for a few months and the hospital also arranged for a physiotherapist for his recovery. Sakura took responsibilities on her own shoulders so that Sasuke could recover soon.
