Chapter 7: Savior

3rd Person

Red dashed towards the doctor and snatched the child whilst splitting his head in half with a fast but sharp and heavy chop in the fraction of a second. He looked at the child in his arms while the doctor's head split open like a book and fell to the ground. Shiro hoisted the kid onto his shoulders and went to the doctor's computer before pulling out his phone and typing a certain code. The computer screen starts glitching and his phone starts to get filled up with all the information on the PC. He placed it next to the keyboard before disappearing out of there momentarily onto a rooftop a block away from the place. He gently placed Midoriya down on the roof and went back to the lab once more. As he arrived, he sat on the doctor's chair and patiently waited for his file transfer to finish.

"Red Devil." A gravelly and deep voice called out to him from within the lab. Without even moving an inch and caring, he said,

"All For One." He looked at the direction of the voice.

"It's been- what the hell happened to your face?" He asked in slight surprise, seeing the state of All For One as he walked out of the shadows.

"All Might happened child."

"Huh, figures. Considering you killed his master, the trauma turned pure anger made him smash half your head like a bat on a watermelon." All For One chuckled as he continued to walk towards Shiro.

"You really do know a lot of hidden information." He complemented. Shiro just shrugged before glancing at his phone, still not moving from his seat.

"You gotta know a lot of things when dealing with high class bastards like you. Fortunately, I know enough, just had to be kept updated."

"Sounds like you knew a lot about us before." Shiro nodded and picked up his phone before pocketing it. He stood up before pulling out an M79 grenade launcher from out of nowhere, making All For One stop in his tracks.

"That's because I have." Shiro aimed the grenade launcher straight at his skull before firing.

*FOOMP* *BOOOM* After it hit All For One, whether or not it damaged him, Shiro went to the shadows and shadow walked back to where he left Midoriya. Speaking of Midoriya, his eyes were starting to open and see the night sky. He groaned as he clutched his head, still pounding from the experiment.

"W-Where am I?" He asked no one in particular, until a voice responded to him.

"I just rescued you from the boogeyman's scientist." Midoriya turned to the source of the sound and his eyes widened at the sight of the infamous vigilante The Red Devil. Said vigilante held his hand up and said,

"Relax kid, I can hear your heart about pop from all that rapid beating. Deep breaths." Midoriya started breathe in and out slowly but deeply till his heart calms down. He looked up the vigilante who was just staring at him while sitting.

"You fine now?" Midoriya nodded, but before he could ask, Shiro answered one of his questions.

"They gave you a quirk so they can turn you into a bioengineered weapon called a Nomu." Midoriya's eyes widened, thinking that the vigilante somehow read his mind.

"Before you ask, no I don't have a telepathy quirk of any kind. I have 4 at most and also no, not because that bastard doctor experimented on me." Midoriya's eyes were still wide as he processed this information. Red stood up and held his hand before the young child.

"Come with me, I'll train you to make sure you can defend yourself and the people, you want to be a hero right?" Midoriya nodded before he took the hand and he stood up. Red nodded back.

"I hate to make you do this for someone who's 4 years younger than me but-"

"Wait, you're only 11 years old?!" Midoriya asked in shock. Shiro replied by nodding before continuing what he said,

"But we have no choice, things like aren't so easily reported to the police, they too have moles that work for villains. Understood?" Midoriya nodded.

"Izuku, this training will not only make you see the reality behind heroism, it will also make you choose the hardest of decisions. Decisions that I've gone past since I was your age." Midoriya thought about it for a minute before his eyes widened.

"A-Are you training me to k-kill?" He could see the slight sadness and hesitation in Red's eyes.

"Yes. But that's not all we're going to do." Midoriya looked at him with hope in his eyes.

"Like I said, I will train you on how to defend yourself and the people. You only kill those who are deserving. Rapists, human traffickers, child molesters and those who wasted their second chance of going straight. Other than those 3, no one else needs to get killed." Izuku let out a sigh of relief.

"Be willing to give villains a second chance to live and have a normal life. Try and talk to it to them after you beat them. Only end their misery if they refuse and didn't tell their reason why despite you wanting to help them okay?" Midoriya nodded again.

"Heroes always say that killing is the last resort, and that it's never easy. They are right, but sometimes kid, some people are better off dead. Pure villains who have are willing to throw everything away to achieve their goals, not in hopes of survival, but in hopes of satisfying themselves. Those are the people that are to be put down regardless, in which cases are the villains that are in the big leagues like Muscular, All For One and Moonfish. I'll teach you a bunch of other stuff so you need to get ready okay?" Midoriya nodded before asking,

"W-Will I ever get to go home?" Sadly, Shiro shook his head and said that doing so will lead the villains to his mother which would be very bad. Izuku started to tear up before Shiro offers Midoriya a suggestion.

"If you want, I can build you a type of phone that's hard to break, very difficult to get hacked and can access nearly every computer without blowing up. That way, you can communicate with your friends and your mother, sound good?" Midoriya sniffled before nodding. Shiro pats him on the head and said,

"You're stuck with me little guy, but don't worry, I'll make sure you'll be the greatest heroes this world will need. Whether they know it or not."
