The book Subaru had read was his second death to the Great Rabbit, one of his worst deaths. Thankfully it didn't effect him as badly as it did when he actually died. He had already experienced death to the Great Rabbit six times, so his reaction to the seventh time wasn't that bad.

Then Subaru looked for more of his books and began reading them, he couldn't read them all since there were too many. Unlike the last time he was here, there were now thousands of books since Subaru had died thousands of times since he was last inside of the tower.

The reason he was reading his own books was so that he wouldn't lose his identity, he had just read the books of the dead of both Rem and Emilia, after all.

Subaru read a few more of his own books and then he killed himself.

Subaru decided that he would ask Roswaal some more questions this time, he knew that the emotions that Rem and Emilia had felt for Roswaal were definitely real, but there was no cause for them. They had just shown up randomly, it was clear that Roswaal had done something with this.

Just like last time Subaru's checkpoint was in front of the door where Rem and Emilia were doing it with Roswaal. He could hear them and he could feel it with Cor Leonis. Subaru left and waited until they were done.

Once Subaru could feel that they were done, he found where Roswaal was and confronted him.

"Roswaal, I know what you did with Rem and Emilia."

"Oh, soooo you foound out, I assuuume you want to know why?" Roswaal began to pull out his gospel, but Subaru interupted him.

"No, I want to know how you did it."

"How? I don't undeerstand what yoooou meeean."

"I know that Rem and Emilia would never do that with you, so you must have done something to them."

"I think that you are miiiistaken. I siiimply managed to seduce them."

"I know that's a lie, their feelings are real, but there is no reason for them." Subaru was getting tired of Roswaal

Roswaal then pulled out a strange object

"What is that?" Subaru asked

"It is a metia, made by teacher." Roswaal spoke normally when talking about his teacher

"A metia?" Metias were objects that allowed users to use magic even if their gate was broken or they had no talent. Echinda, the witch of greed, and also Roswaal's teacher had made many metias in the past.

"What does it do?" Subaru asked

Roswaal didn't answer Subaru and instead activated the metia.

Subaru felt an emotion, he felt love for someone he never thought he could feel it to. He loved Roswaal, he loved him more then he did Rem or Emilia, he loved him more then he did Beako. His love for Roswaal was even greater then his love for Satella. Then just as quickly as the emotion came, it left him. Roswaal had turned off the metia.

"So that's how you did it." Subaru was very angry at Roswaal

"Yes, wiiith this, it was very easy to seeeduce your wives."

'Roswaal you-" But Subaru was interrupted, just like the before, Roswaal had begun to choke him.

"I am sorry Subaru-kun, but I have to do what the gospel tells me to do." Once again, those were the last words Subaru heard.
